The Navigator: Episode 3
(NOTICE: Sonic the Hedgehog belongs to SEGA. SNT belongs to ProjectSNT.)
In a large factory outside the forest, an army of robots are being assembled for Eggman's army. A red wolf lands on his feet on a conveyer belt from a vent, and moves quickly between the incomplete robots. A light blue being follows suit. The two beings are Jack and SNT, on a mission to spy on the factory's production and destroy it. Jack gestures to SNT to hide behind one of the walls. He takes out his binoculars and looks into them. In the next room below them, an army of robots are lining up for inspection. A large man with an orange mustache and a red coat enters the room. The man is Dr. Eggman. He looks at his newly completed batch of robots, stroking his mustache. Jack lowers his binoculars and looks at SNT.
"Another completed batch of robots," Jack stated.
"So, do you have a plan on how we destroy this place?" SNT asked.
"Not yet," Jack replied.
"Not yet?!" SNT quietly exclaimed. "I thought you would have thought that through!"
Back at the house in the forest, Daryl the Fox is tracking Jack and SNT from his computer. "Well, I'm looking at the blueprints of the factory and I'm seeing a furnace room in the South end of the building," Daryl said. "If you can get a remote charge on the furnace, you can destroy that place quickly."
"Good thing I brought my charges," Jack stated.
"Good," SNT replied. "Let's get over there before someone sees us."
Jack nods at SNT, and the two begin to make their move to the furnace room, climbing back into the vents. They make it into the furnace room, and Jack lands on the floor below. Suddenly, and alarm blares, and Jack looks to his left to see a motion detector on the wall.
"Well," Jack groaned, "That's just great."
A detachment of Egg-pawns flood their way into the furnace room. They surround Jack with their laser guns pointed at him. Jack uses his wispon to whip lightning at the Egg-pawns. He manages to destroy two of them, but ten more take their place. Jack continues to fight, but an Egg-pawn manages to knock the wispon out of his hand.
"Bring the intruder to me!" Eggman ordered the Egg-pawns over the public address system.
"SNT, get out of here quick!" Jack exclaimed.
"No!" SNT exclaimed "I'm not leaving you here!"
"Do it!" Jack exclaim.
The Egg-pawns catch sight of SNT, and Jack tosses her his navigator. She catches it and makes a run for it. Once she exits the factory through the ventilation system, she runs into the forest. Daryl is tracking the navigator on his computer, believing it's Jack.
"Almost back, already?" Daryl asks himself.
SNT runs for the front door of Daryl and Jack's house. She knocks on the door, and Daryl opens it. SNT has an exasperated expression, while Daryl looks at her confused.
"What's going on? Where's Jack." Daryl asked.
"The Egg-pawns…" SNT replied. "They have him!"
Daryl has a shocked expression on his face. SNT hands him Jack's navigator. His eyes widen and he lets out a small gasp. He takes the navigator from her, and he looks at SNT dejectedly. He gestures her to enter the house, and she follows.
"We need to get him back," Daryl stated.
"But how?" SNT asked.
"Good question," Daryl replied. "I find it easier to find him if he kept his tracker. But then again, they'd probably take it from him."
Daryl is deep in thought, putting his hand on his chin. He lets out a small breath and turns his attention to SNT.
"Okay. I'm not going to like this…" Daryl stated, "but I think we both need to rescue him."
"What do you mean you're not going to like it?" SNT asks.
"It's a long story." Daryl replied.
Daryl approaches a chest and opens it. He takes out two remote charges and a detonator. He hands one of the charges to SNT.
"Okay. Here's the plan:" Daryl stated, "You and I are going to go back to the factory and disable security. Once we do that, we find Jack. Then, we head to the furnace room and plant the charges. Once that's all done, we get out of there quickly and use that detonator to begin the chain reaction."
"Okay," SNT stated, "What if we get surrounded like Jack?"
"Don't worry," Daryl replied, "I got this."
At the factory, the Egg-pawns carry Jack and toss him into a cage. Eggman enters the room and approaches the cage.
"So…" Eggman stated, "did you really think you could destroy this factory?"
"That was the plan, Egg-head!" Jack replied aggressively.
"That's Eggman!" The mad doctor corrected.
Two Egg-pawns pick up the cage. Eggman looks Jack dead in the eyes.
"I have some wonderful plans for you." Eggman stated.
Eggman gestures his Egg-pawns to take Jack away. Jack is brought into a room with a certain machine. He looks at the machine and quickly realizes what it was. His eyes are full of fear as Eggman laughs maniacally.
