~With the Host Club~
"Well, she took that…." Hikaru stared at Rose leaving, "Strangely well" Kaoru followed Hikaru's gaze. "Though I think you freaked her out, my lord," they announced simultaneously, laughing at Tamaki's misfortune while Rose disappeared behind a door.
Tamaki started gasping like a fish out of water. "What! I did not freak her out…Right, my Daughter," looking to Haruhi for reassurance, she just glances at him. "Well, it was creepy, Sempai…" then back at the menu.
Suddenly all the others watch as Tamaki's soul slowly slips out of his body. "What are you guys going to get? I was thinking about the cheesecake but, they also have a German chocolate cake…hmmm" Hunny got lost in thoughts after his question.
~With Rose~
After handing in the family's order to the chef, I started to get all the drinks together *It seemed she did not recognize me…have I changed that much?* I stopped to play with my wolf necklace.
"So you come in late, not in uniform, I might add, and now you are just standing around!" Eric's raised voice snapped me from my thoughts. Meeting his glare, I pinched the bridge of my nose. "Eric I…" as I tried to explain, "No! Just no! I do not care that your father owns this business, you are My employee, and I will NOT bend ANY rules just for you!" Eric interrupted, seething at me.
Clenching my jaw, I pulled out my sweetest voice possible. "Eric, take the money out of my pay…do whatever you want right this minute. I am not going to deal with this. Not here in the kitchen. There are customers out there…Alright!" as I slammed my hand on the counter.
There is a long pause, "Darling, your order is up," the chef announced, glancing over to him. I nodded, "Thanks" walking over, I placed each plate on a clean tray lifting it with my right hand. Then went and raised with my left hand the tray with the drinks. Turning, I face Eric with an emotionless face. "Now... Excuse me, but I have a job to do," passing by him with ease.
~With the Host Club~
Kyoya looked at the group. "Has everyone picked out what they are getting?" as he placed down his menu to be met with a chorus of yes's along with two no's. Everyone turned to Haruhi then Tamaki waiting for them to explain. Haruhi sighed, "I am just not hungry…" then she laid her menu on the table and closed her eyes.
Tamaki's face was buried in the menu, still with only the sound of mumbles until Hunny pushed the menu out of Tamaki's face. "I am not sure about what to get; there are so many things to choose from!" Tamaki's voice turned to a full-on yell causing other customers to turn and look over to them.
~With Rose~
Stomping out of the kitchen, I could feel my body vibrating from Eric's comments *That bastard, I don't care if he is my boss, think that he can talk to me that way…* I let a sigh. "Well, I guess that is what's to be expected when you are the daughter of the owner and all…" frowning to myself until I got closer to the tables and faked a smile.
Placing the tray of drinks on a nearby empty table, I walked up to the family. "Alright, order up! One cheeseburger, medium with no mayo and a side of rings," placing the dish in front of the man. Turning to the woman, "Next is a burger that is medium rare with no onions and a side of fries," placing her meal before her.
"Now here's a burger with nothing on it but ketchup and some fries," smiling at Nathan as I give him his order. "Finally, last but not least, two plates of chicken strips with fries" handing the girls their food, I did a little bow which caused some giggles to abrupt.
"Enjoy! Now, if you need anything, just call me over or wave me down," letting off a goofy grin, then placed the empty tray under the one with drinks on it. Walking closer to the group of handsome boys and Haruhi to see all their eyes on Blondie.
"So here are your drinks," I interrupt, causing their gaze to switch over to me. Ignoring the stares, I began placing each cup in front of its owner then looked to Blondie. "So uh, I gave you a cup of sweet tea… I hope that you like it" he sent a smile. "Princess, though this tea is sweet, I believe you are so much sweeter," giving me a wink.
Trying to bite my lips but fell into a giggle fit, causing the group to go into shock over the fact that line got that reaction to me. "I'm sorry… it is just that…that line was SUPER corny!" as Blondie's face fell into a frown. Regaining my composer, "Anyway…." I cough to stop laughing. "What can I get for you guys?" pulling out my notepad.
"I'll have some strawberry shortcake," Hunny quickly answered, then looked at the tall man beside him. "Slice of chocolate drizzled cheesecake" Takashi then handed Hunny and his menus to Kyoya. "We will have the curry and rice" Hikaru and Kaoru gave their orders then gave their menus to Kyoya.
Kyoya, who turned to me "Burger, medium rare with fries," grabbed Blondie's and Haruhi's menus plus his own handed them to me. As I finished writing the orders, I turned to the two unspoken two. "Alright then, how about you two?" waiting for an answer.
"My love, once more, I'll trust your taste on what to give your handsome prince" Blondie reached for my hand once more, but I took a step back and turned to face Haruhi in time to avoid his touch.
"I'm not hungry…." Haruhi stated as she took a sip of her drink. "Alright…well, I will be back soon" After finishing writing the order's I turned away from them, catching a slight growling noise. *Stubborn Woman!* letting a chuckle out from under my breath as I wrote an extra meal down.
~With the Host Club~
The group watched as Rose walked away. "I thought she had fallen for me…Daughter.." Tamaki leaned over to take hold of Haruhi's shoulders for dear life and cried out in desperation. "Please tell Daddy he hasn't lost his touch! PLEASE!" as he started to shake Haruhi.
Haruhi lifted Tamaki's hands from her shoulders, "Shouldn't we just have given her the drawing back…? She was just here" Haruhi looked at them all to see their focus on Tamaki.
