Harry figured Draco must have left the wedding early, as he hadn't seen him since the boys had cut the cake. But when he steps outside to go back to his and Ginny's cabin, he finds him sitting on the swing, staring off into the distance.

"What are you doing out here?" Harry asks, worried that something is wrong when gets closer to him and he sees the tears in his eyes. "Are you… is she…?"

"We're fine. I was just thinking." Draco shrugs, and for a moment it looks like he is going to leave it at that. But then a small, shy smile forms on his face, and his cheeks go red. "I was thinking about you," he admits. "About last night."

"I'm sorry. I know I…"

"No, I'm sorry," Draco cuts him off. "I meant what I said. I have nothing to offer you… nothing but my problems, but…" He hesitates as he looks over at the main building, where the wedding party is still going on. "When you said that this… whatever this is… feels right…"

Harry can tell how difficult it is for him to say any of this, and how he is struggling to find the right words, and he becomes a little hesitant whether he wants to hear the rest of it or not.

"I know I shouldn't, but I am starting to fall for you, Harry," Draco finally admits. "It's ridiculous, because this can never happen. Especially not with Scorpius and Albus being married now, and me…" He looks down at his belly, and he seems to forget about whatever else he was going to say for a moment. But when he looks back up again, Harry can already tell where this is going to go. "With everything that is going on in my life, I need to concentrate on getting at least one thing right. I need her to be my priority. So this… us… I just can't do it."

"I know." Harry nods, and he doesn't just say it to assure Draco either. Because he knew that this was coming - he knew it last night when they kissed, and he knew it this morning when Draco hadn't given him an answer when he asked him out.

"I'm sorry."

"Don't be." Harry smiles. "It's okay. Just…"

"Just what?"

"Can we stay friends, at least?"

"Were we ever friends?" Draco asks, half-teasing to try and ease the discomfort of the moment. It doesn't help though, so instead of giving Harry a serious answer, he gets up and he gives him a hug.

Harry can feel himself choke up, the emotions of the day finally getting to him as Draco tightly holds onto him. And even though this isn't what he wanted - as he had let himself imagine some kind of future together with this man - knowing that Draco will be part of his life from now on - as more than the man he sits at the table with at family events - it means more to him than he would ever admit to out loud to anyone.

"I should get going," Harry sighs, dreading having to spend the night at his and Ginny's cabin again. Even though they seem to have made up for good this time, and he doubts they will have another argument as big as last night, it still feels uncomfortable to have to share a room with his ex-wife.

"Why don't you stay with me again?" Draco suggests, before quickly adding, "As friends."

"I thought we weren't friends," Harry teases, but the suggestion gives him a glimmer of hope again - as last night they had shared a kiss when they spent the night together. He quickly shuts the feeling down though, because he doubts Draco would forgive him if he tried to kiss him again after the conversation they've just had.

It's their last night at the resort though, so Harry isn't going to pass on the chance to spend these last hours together with him.

They could take the short way to Draco's cabin, but they take the long way instead - clearly both putting off the moment where they will be alone together, where no one else can see. Because even after agreeing to be friends - after agreeing that nothing can happen between them - there is still a palpable tension between them. And even as they walk past the woods in complete silence, their hands somehow end up finding their way to each other, as though they are drawn to each other like magnets.

It has started to snow, and with nearly everyone still at the party, the only sound that can be heard is that of the snow crunching beneath their feet. Harry is freezing, but even though he can hardly feel his toes by the time they walk past his and Ginny's cabin, he wouldn't mind walking around like this all night. There is something so peaceful about it - so many things still unspoken between them, and so many things going on in both their lives still, and yet none of that matters right now.

The peaceful quiet is broken when they make their way past the hot tub and the closed bar though. Harry didn't think James and Teddy would sneak out of Albus' wedding a second time, and he thought that they were still on the dancefloor dancing with the others. But when Harry hears his son call out his name - his tone angry and upset - his stomach drops.

He quickly lets go of Draco's hand and Draco steps away from him, but it's obvious that James and Teddy have already seen them walk hand in hand.

They rush out of the hot tub, and after rushing to put their suits back on - as this hot tub dip was clearly not planned and they didn't bring any trunks - they come over to the two men.

"What the hell is this?" James asks, his anger not having settled even a little bit in the minute it took him to get dressed. "You and… you're... " He stammers, clearly unable to wrap his head around this. "I have to tell mum."

"Your mum knows, James," Harry sighs, but this obviously only confuses his son more.

"She knows that you and Scorpius' dad are…?"

Teddy grabs his boyfriend's hand for support, and it seems to help, because after taking a moment to try and calm himself down, James tries again.

"You two holding hands…," he begins, a little hesitant to get it wrong, but continuing anyway. "What's going on, dad?"

"I should go, this is between you and your son," Draco tries, but Harry shakes his head and he tells him to stay.

"Dad?"

"Your mum and I are no longer together," Harry admits, feeling terrible for breaking the promise he made to Ginny. But he can't lie to his son. "She moved out a few months ago, and…"

"You lied to us?"

"We were going to tell you, but we didn't want to upset Al, so…"

"You said she moved out months ago, dad. Al only told us about the wedding weeks ago," James cuts him off. "You lied to us for months. Why? What did you…" He looks at Draco in horror, the thought clearly crossing his mind that his parents' divorce must have something to do with him.

"We were going to tell you," Harry tells him again. "But we needed time, okay? I'm sorry we didn't tell you, but…"

"Did you sleep with him?" James interrupts, but when Teddy gives his hand a tight squeeze, he quickly adds. "I'm sorry, but you two walking around here hand in hand…"

"I did not cheat on your mother. We were married for a long time, and we just grew apart." Harry knows that he could tell him that it was in fact Ginny who cheated - who ruined their marriage - but why upset his son even more? "And me and Draco…"

"We're just friends," Draco reassures him, but even though he means well, it's obviously the wrong thing to say, because both James and Teddy seem less than impressed with his blatant lie - even if technically the two men did agree to just be friends.

"Look, whether you are just friends, or if something is going on between you two, you are divorced, so…" Teddy shrugs. "It's your business, right?"

"He's sleeping with Scorpius' dad," James argues. "What if Al finds out, huh?"

"We're not sleeping together," Harry defends himself, but he's not sure why he bothers, because his son does have a point. Both he and Draco had brought it up themselves too, so it's not like they didn't know that this was going to be the reaction when their children found out.

James sighs, clearly not happy with this situation - more out of worry for his siblings and his mother, more than anything - but he doesn't want to fight on the day of his brother's wedding, so after sharing a look with his boyfriend, he lets the argument go.

"Teddy is right, I guess," he mutters, "It's your business, but if Al finds out…"

"We will tell him and Lily about the divorce."

"I was talking about whatever is going on between the two of you, dad," James points out. "Just be careful, please. If we can see you, so can he… or Lily. So whatever you are, or aren't… you better figure it out before you tell them anything."

"I'm sorry," Harry tells him again, but the words feel meaningless. This is exactly how he didn't want their children to find out about the divorce, and he can't help but feel like a terrible father for upsetting both his son and godson - even if Teddy didn't seem bothered by the thing much, as he was probably more interested in continuing whatever he and James were up to before Harry and Draco walked by.

They say an awkward goodbye to the boys, and while their walk had been nice and peaceful before, there is a clear tension between them now. They don't dare to bring it up until they are back in Draco's cabin again though.

"Perhaps it would be better if you did go back to your own cabin," Draco begins, "If someone sees you here…"

"Scorpius saw me this morning."

"I know." Draco blushes, unable to keep himself from smiling as he remembers his son teasing him about it. "He told me."

Harry can't help but wonder whether it would have been better if he and Ginny had told everyone about the divorce before, as everyone seems to have figured it out anyway, which, he has to admit, he is definitely to blame for. He didn't mean for it to happen though, just as he didn't mean to fall for Draco.

It feels like they both have hundreds of things to say to each other, but enough has been said today, and the rest of this week already.

The build-up to the wedding had been such a big deal, and it feels a little odd now that it's over. Harry takes off his suit, and as he lays it down on the chair, he almost feels a little nostalgic for today already. For a moment he is caught up thinking about their sons, about what life will be like after today - where they will be when they are his age - but when he turns around to look for the pyjamas he had worn last night, he catches Draco climbing into bed - not wearing pyjamas, but wearing only a pair of boxers.

Harry feels a little overwhelmed, especially as he wants nothing more than to climb into bed with him and kiss him - and more. But he respects Draco's wishes to be no more than friends, so he climbs into bed with him, and after turning the light off, he tells him goodnight. Knowing full well that it's going to be a nightmare, knowing that Draco is lying next to him, practically naked.

"Harry?" Draco whispers, before turning over to face him. "What if…?" He doesn't finish his thought; and instead he leans in and he kisses him.

Harry is so shocked that he doesn't even kiss him back, because what happened to everything he said earlier? He knows that Draco is probably just as confused as he is about this whole situation though, and even more so because of the situation he is in. So he can't exactly blame him for changing his mind.

"Are you sure?" he whispers, but he already knows the answer.

"No," Draco chuckles nervously, as he places his hand on Harry's chest. "Maybe. I think so?"

Harry kisses him, still half-expecting him to change his mind again and push him off, but he doesn't.
