~In Twilight~

~With Rose~

After getting out of that hell hole and onto the sidewalk, I turn to the kids. "Alright, where did your mother find this woman?!" crossing my arms, giving a playful smile that brought giggles from them. "Okay, let's get you guys home before your mother freaks out and calls Artie," grabbing Lily's hand. I playfully push Harry's shoulder as we walk down the sidewalk on our way.

Weaving through the streets, I noticed Harry seemed to be quieter than usual. "So I'm watching you this Friday…What did you learn on the piano today? Anything fun because your teacher seems like a real party person!" waiting for Harry's reaction.

His lips twitched into a smile, and he looked at me. "Really? Sweet! Today was alright, I guess, but I really miss my other teacher. This one is saying that since I can't play beginner songs right, then we have to start with basics again…" his voice wandered off.

I pulled Harry to me and gave a tight side-hug as we walked along the sidewalk, mumbling under my breath. "I doubt that hag has any ears for talent. She wouldn't be able to tell even if it smacked in the face" hold both kids close.

~Fast Forward~

The three of us walked up to an iron gate, and through the bars, there stood the kid's house. The house was a bit on the small scale of the other mansions around it, with a fountain out front and a circular driveway.*For four people, you don't need this size of a home, even if it's smaller than the others on the block* shaking my head as the gates opened.

With it, open Lily and Harry took off, racing across the lawn towards the front door with laughter. "I will beat you, Lily!" Harry happily sped past his sister as Lily stumbled after him. "No, you're not!" she went full speed, chasing him. They reached the tall door as I jogged up to them at my own pace.

Reaching for the handle when it swung open, revealing an older woman looking to be in her late forties stood before us in a maid uniform. Seeing that it was us, she gave a kind smile, "Oh, the children are home, good. Come on, let's get you all cleaned up before dinner" as she ushered the kids inside. Harry and Lily gave me a quick hug before running up the stairs.

I caught the eyes of the maid and smiled kindly, "Excuse me, but is Mrs. Robinson home?" the woman's smile fell, and she shook her head. "Sorry, Miss Rose, but she isn't home yet and same for the Mister" as we both looked to the darkening sky, "If you would like Miss, I could call the car around for you."

Nodding to her *Might be a good idea…* "That sounds like a good idea Juliet…um …is it possible to use the town car instead?" trying to not sound like a spoiled child at the request. * It's just I don't want to show up in a limo where I live…I want to live like used to, well to a degree at least*

"Alright, Miss Rose. I'll go call James for you and tell him to get the town car" she left, leaving me there to focus on the clouded skies. "Juliet seems nice in person too…" closing my eyes listening to the sounds of nature till a loud engine caught my ears.

Opening my eyes, in the driveway sat a black Lincoln town car. The driver's door opened and stepped out an older gentleman. He gave me a caring smile "Miss Rose, I presume?" bowing his head a little. "Yes, it's nice to meet you, James. Let's get going, so you can get back home, James" smiling at the man as I headed over to the passenger door and climbed in.
