~With Rose~
James climbed into the car right after me and started to drive off from the mansion. The car filled with silence. "I wonder why he didn't try to guilt me into sitting in the back like all the other drivers" as I glanced over with curiosity for James to catch my stares. "From what we hear by Mrs. & Mr. Robinson plus the children, of course, tell all about how quite independent you are. Along with doing things opposite of what others might do, that's why I didn't say anything…." James explained while watching the road.
My eyes widened. "Uh…what?" stuttered from my lips as James chuckled. "Well, you just talked out loud before…so I figured I should answer" James smiled while I felt my face heat up and hide behind my bag. After a few minutes, the car stopped, looking out the window sat my home. A simple two-story brick ranch home, with a porch and fence *Home sweet home* smiling at the house.
"Thank you, James," giving the man a shy smile as I opened the door to the car. Before I could leave, I felt a hand touch my arm. Turning back, I came face to face with a card. "It was a pleasure, here Miss Rose if you ever need a ride again…, please do not be afraid to call me alright" James placed the card in my hand.
Placing the card in my bag, "Thank you…Bye James!" as I dashed out the door towards the porch, I heard barks welcoming me home while I unlocked the door. Opening it and walking in, I was jumped on by a German Sheppard puppy with a black pug that attacked me with kisses. "Haha…Ludwig, Bella, I missed you guys too," shutting the door and locking it behind me.
Dumping my bags on the couch, I kneeled to give love to my puppies. "Were you two good today" after paying attention to them, I got up and made my way upstairs towards my room to change. Grabbing pajamas from my dresser, I headed to the bathroom to freshen up. Once done, I exited to see my orange cat sitting there, meowing at me. "Hello, Starlight! You have a good lazy day?" scooping her up into my arms as I walk over to my bed and fall into it.
Starlight wiggled out of my grip and moved to my stomach; the bed shifted as Ludwig and Bella joined us. Ludwig took his spot by my feet as Bella laid on my side, closing my eyes, allowing my thoughts to wander on the events of today. A smile appeared. "Today was just a preview of what is to become this year…" as I pet Starlight as thunder rumbles outside, signaling the start of a storm.
The rain began to fall severely, hitting the windows as the drops ran down the glass panes. "A thunderstorm… I hope Haruhi is home and alright," looking over at my end table for the time. *I should go to sleep; I have a long official first day tomorrow…* moving Starlight next to Bella, I climb under the covers, adjusting myself. Starlight got annoyed with the movement and walked over to me to the other side of the empty bed and curled up. Waiting for the Princess to get comfy, I flicked off the lights. "Night, guys," letting the sound of water hitting the window lull me to sleep.
