~With Rose~

When Kaoru had finished helping with some math work, it was time for the next class. Kaoru helped me gather my things, and together we began to walk to the classrooms. "So thanks for sharing your lunch with me…." Kaoru stopped in front of the door of my next class.

Looking at him, "Well, I should be the one thanking you instead. You helped me the most with all my math work and showed me where my class is when you didn't have to," giving him a bright smile. "I do appreciate it," he bumped his shoulder into mine. "I couldn't leave a princess stranded now, could I? That wouldn't be very nice. So… I'll see you at the club today?" as his face turned serious with a hint of curiosity.

Rolling my eyes, "How kind of you, and I don't know yet if I will go today, but I will stop by when I can…I promise," holding out my pinky to complete my promise which he wrapped his pinky around mine "Alright I'm keeping you to it. See you around, Rose" Kaoru walks off to his class.

Staring at his retreating figure *Sweet and funny…cute but too* then moved to enter the Art room. Looking around, I see that there is only one empty chair for me at the front table. Which is a surprise turn of events had the spot open between Haruhi and another girl. The teacher noticed me and came over with a laid back smile.

"Welcome, Rose. As you can see, my class is pretty full, so I think you can see where you will be sitting. Today is to do whatever you feel like doing so ii can see where everyone is in the class," the teacher floated to a male student's raised hand.

Going over to the table, I moved to sit between the two girls. As I started to take my seat, I caught the eye of the other girl. "Hi! I'm Renge Housgakuji" she extended her hand to me. I grabbed it with a smile, "Rose Night. Nice to meet you too, Renge," as I settled into my seat. Renge began to draw, "So why and where do you come from, Rose?" not looking up at me.

Grabbing a pencil, "Well, I am originally from America. I can here mainly because of my Dad, but this is my first time living in Japan indefinitely" I stared at my paper for inspiration. "Really? Well, I'm originally from France. I moved here to be closer to Kyoya… it's a long story" Renge had a smile on her face as she drew, not noticing how quiet Haruhi was next to me.

Glancing over, "Uh alright then…" trying to piece together that information *Okay…this is hurting my head….why come all this way for a guy?* Renge then got up to ask the teacher something while I focused on my assignment when an envelope appeared next to my right hand. Looking over, I see Haruhi just scribbling as I slide it into my bag before Renge gets back.

Softly sighing, "Look, Haruhi…I know you are probably pissed at me, but…I want to explain" Side glancing Haruhi. "And knowing you…you won't listen until you are good and ready. So I can wait until then…" looking over to see Renge heading back, I put my full concentration into my picture.

As the class went on, my picture came to life; two figures standing under an endless starry sky *For now, all I can do is wait…* continuing to add details to it.

~After Art~

Once the lesson was over, I walked out lost in my thoughts until a hand touched my shoulder, jolting me awake. Turning, I saw that Renge was standing there with a big grin, "So what class do you have next?" as we walked on, I pulled out my paper. "Well, it looks like I have Creative Writing with Mrs. Day. That sounds like a good class to end the day," smiling at her while her grin grows.

Renge bounces, "Really! That is great, I'm in that class too, and I thought I wouldn't know anyone in there," pulling me along with her. "Well, guess I was in the same boat, but now we got each other!" I laughed with her as we made our way into class. Together Renge and I took a table towards the middle of the room near a window. In front of the class stood Mrs. Day. "Since this is the last class of the day. I would like you all to write about how your day went" her voice was loud and clear, then she sat at her desk.

Renge looked at me. "Well, this is an easy assignment," then went to work. "Yeah, I guess we lucked out…well better get started so that we can talk more, right" winking at her causing us to giggle *My strange, interesting, and eventful day… I'm going to need a few sheets of paper* as I begin my tale.

~After School~

Renge handed me back my phone. "Alright, here is my number! We are hangout soon, or else I'm dragging you over!" giving me a stern look while I give a sheepish one back. "Okay, Renge, relax, I will. Then we can sit around together and read the many different manga's we have. I better get going, see you!" waving as I took off in the opposite direction.

"Bye, Rose!" Renge yelled at my retreating figure as I left school to head home. "Really can't go to the club today. I need to finish up this work, so I don't get overloaded with current school work…" passing through the students in the courtyard *Plus Haruhi and I need to talk before anything else can move forward…*

~Club Just Finished~

Tamaki is in the corner, pouting and muttering about one thing or another. Hunny hugged Usa-Chan "Rose-Chan didn't show…does she not like us?" with tears forming in his eyes. Takashi places a hand on Hunny's head to calm down his distressed cousin. Mostly everyone was standing around in silence. "Why should we care? She hasn't said anything, so why bother at all.…." Hikaru crossed his arms in annoyance as Kaoru matched the stance but for a different reason.

Kyoya pushed his glasses up and opened his mouth when Haruhi spoke up, "Rose isn't going to say anything…she is not like that…Anyways, I finished with the cleaning, so I'm heading home," grabbing her things and walking out of the music room. Tamaki owlishly blinked. "Haruhi knows Rose?" as the boys all looked to the retreated figure.

~With Rose~

I unlocked the door, entering my home to be greeted by Ludwig and Bella barking at me before running to the back door. "Alright, alright, calm down, I'll let you guys out, but you need to stop blocking the pathway" as I squeeze between them, reaching the door and opening it.

With the door open, they ran out like madman into the yard, "Crazy dog…" muttering as I head off to my computer/library. Dropping my bag on the desk along with my books, I head to the kitchen to get a snack. Once I got the delicious food, I went to head back when a white sheet in the corner of my living room caught my eye.

Drifting towards it, I lift it a bit to see a shiny black piano *Huh… it's been years…I wonder if I still remember how to…* opening the key-lid. I run my fingers across the keys without pressure. Ripping my hand back *No…I was never good. I probably sound even worse now* than shutting the top and relaying the sheet on it once more.

Striding to the back door, I called Bella and Ludwig in then all together, we moved to the computer/library and took our spots. Falling into my chair, I close my eyes and let my mind wander to a simpler time. "I haven't thought of playing in years…why is it coming up now that I am back" rubbing my face, I sat straight up. Looking over the desk, I see the pups sleeping in their spots without a car in the world. "If only I could be that way too…oh well, I should get to work," glancing at my books, reluctantly taking one and opening it.
