~With Host Club~
"After we left about five years ago, dad's dream just kick-started with the help of one of his old friends from back in the day. Which resulted in him hitting it big," giving hand gestures as I explained the situation. "An mom would have stopped working, but you know her, she likes being a nurse" she rolled her eyes, then glanced at Haruhi's face to see no reaction.
The Host Club listened to Rose's story while Kyoya opened his notebook, writing down things every so often. Hikaru muttered under his breath, "So her family just became rich…" as Kaoru furrowed his brows at Rose.
Rose took another breath. "So Brother decided to come here with me to expand the company while I finish up school. Honestly, I didn't even know you went here, Haruhi…if I did, I would have been more thrilled at the thought. Plus, it would have been great to know at least one person" as she finished up the story.
Tamaki frowned, "Why did she not want to come here to Ouran Academy?" talking to no one confused at Rose's words. The Twins glanced at one another *She is pretty much alone here in Japan?* before looking back to the girls. Haruhi nodded with closed eyes. "You didn't want to come here, so why did you agree to? You could have gone anywhere…" looking at Rose without a smile. The side of Rose's lips tugged up a bit before looking to the clouds.
"Honestly, my parents wanted me to come here because of it being an excellent school. Now I agreed to go only if I could enter by passing the exam and not because of their money" Rose crossed her arms. "I only wanted to get in from my knowledge, not money.." before looking towards Haruhi happily.
Hunny smiled at the girl's reaction "Rose-chan and Haruhi-chan are both very similar, aren't they" Rose grinned at Haruhi. "Well, they do seem to know one another from a different time in their lives," Kyoya answered as he wrote down the information.
Haruhi stared at Rose for a while till a light smile reached her face. "Glad to see you have not changed into a spoiled rich kid Rose" as her eyes twinkled happily. Rose laughed at the comment. "Really…me a spoiled rich kid? Come on, Haruhi, I believe that will be quite hard to accomplish with my stubbornness," grinning at Haruhi.
All the boys felt different emotions *Spoiled rich kids…* but seeing Haruhi smiling along with Rose without a care in the world threw them for a loop. Tamaki disappeared into a corner. "How is she able to do that…why has my lovely daughter never done that with me" drawing circles on the ground.
Haruhi rolled her eyes and got up, gathering her bag. "Uh-huh, right…weirdo. Anyway, I have to get going. I need to cook dinner tonight, alright" as Haruhi went to leave, Rose jumped up, scooping my items. Moving next to Haruhi, "Sounds strangely familiar there…how has dad been?" as they walked together off-campus.
Hikaru spoke up confused, "She cooks for herself…she has no chef?" while Tamaki focused on "Rose knows Haruhi's father?" with a trembling voice. "He has been well…himself" Haruhi gave Rose a knowing look causing her to laugh. "Aww, I miss him, and his wackiness" as the Hosts moved along with them not to miss a single second of the conversation.
The girls walked until they got to the spot where they split off into opposite directions. Rose looked at Haruhi. "Hey, since we talked, does this mean you forgive me" with puppy dog eyes.
Haruhi turns away from her. "See you tomorrow," walking off. Rose frowned at that. "Hey! I'm taking that as a yes!" yelling at Haruhi's departing figure with a big grin before heading home.
"Hmm…" Kyoya muttered before seeing his driver pull up to the sidewalk along with the other's cars. Heading off to his family car as the others followed suit. Hikaru and Kaoru lingered longer, staring at the path Rose disappeared before heading to their vehicle.
~Unknown~
I followed Rose as she walked along the sidewalk, making her way back to her house. She was oblivious to me following her in my black town car. Rose seemed to have a sixth sense as she kept looking around, trying to find something around her.
I gave my driver a signal to keep a distance to ensure that she would not see us. She seemed to relax once more but quickly strode down the block to her home. Watching as she entered the house, I felt my lips tug upward into a sinister smile.
Pushing up my fallen glasses, I gave my driver the signal to leave the area quickly, so there was little evidence of us as possible. Staring at the shrinking house through my dense tinted windows, I lean back into my seat.
"So this is where you have been hiding. Trying to escape from me will do you little good…we shall meet again soon," closing my eyes as I drift off into creating my brilliant plan as my driver took me home.
