~With Rose~
Right after the crazy girl had left, Kyoya had finished up the rest of the coffee ice cream and pushed the empty bowl to the side. Looking at our relatively small booth fit for four *Hmmm…I think we need an upgrade* gazing around the shop, stopping on a rather large booth.
Grinning a the new booth *Perfect* from the corner of my eye, Kyoya raised a brow at me. Rolling my eyes, I nodded to the booth. "I just found us an upgrade. Since the rest of the guys are going to show up, might as well have enough space for all".
Kyoya, following my line of sight, nodded, "That is probably for the best" as he got up from his seat. "Yeah…I doubt Blondie was going to be happy if we were all separated. It's the weekend, and I don't feel like dealing with his mushroom corner," not noticing Kyoya's tiny smile. I grabbed the empty bowl before rising from my seat.
Kyoya moved to the new table as I followed behind, stopping to toss the bowl before continuing together to the booth. Once there, Kyoya allowed me to slide in first. Once I was situated, Kyoya slid in next to me with our backs to the door, so we couldn't see who was coming or going.
Leaning my arms on the table, I rested my head in my hands and closed my eyes. "Tired?" Kyoya spoke up from the left of me with the sound of scribbles. Opening an eye, I look to him, "Hah…more like enjoying the calm before the storm," leaning nonchalantly forward to see what he was writing.
Snapping it shut, Kyoya smirked *Asshole* frowning, o pushed off the table, stretching a bit. My ears pick up a light bell ring along with a stampede of footsteps following after. The steps same closer *Alright, that did not take as long as I thought it would…stalkers* smirking while I rolled my eyes.
The feet came to a halt in front of the table "Hey Rose…Kyoya!" Haruhi's voice caused me to turn with a smile at their expression of confusion. Tamaki kept looking between the two of us like a lost puppy.
"Yeah…he wandered in a few seconds after you went outside." Lifting my hand to wave at them. "Figured if he was out here, then the rest of you were not that far behind, so I found a bigger table…" explained to the confused group. "Also, I didn't want Blondie here to throw a tantrum," nodding to Tamaki while laughing.
Tamaki frowned and moved to his little mushroom corner as Haruhi smiled at me. "Figures this would happen…" making me laugh. "I am more surprised that it took this long for it to happen," grinning widely at them all.
"Come on, guys! Stop standing there, take a seat or go order some" Kyoya climbed out with me following *Maybe this time I can eat mine* moving to the counter again for my treat.
~With Host Club~
After Rose left with Hunny and Takashi tailing behind to go ice cream also. The rest of the group slid into the booth. Kyoya sat back down and started to write in his book as the others stared at him intensely. Slowly Kyoya's brow began to twitch. "What!?" with a voice laced in annoyance.
Across the table, Hikaru's face matched his emotion and leaned in "What happened with Rose?" with a harsh tone as everyone also asked the question in their versions. Kyoya let out a sigh glancing at Hikaru. "What…Jealous?" as Hikaru's face turned red. "Nothing …I sat down. She gave her ice cream to me, made small talk, then you all arrived," Kyoya explained, leaving out the crazy woman.
Haruhi watched the boys speak to one another at the table before looking at Rose happily conversing with Takashi and Hunny. *You have not changed much…even after all this…weirdo* Haruhi smiled to herself as they ordered their sweets.
~With Rose~
As I stood in line, I felt a presence behind me. Turning there stood Hunny with a smile with Takashi at his side. "Hi, Rose-chan!" Hunny cheerfully greeted me with Takashi giving his version. Smiling to the cousins, "Hey Takashi, Hunny!"
The people in front of us left, so we stepped up together to the counter with an older gentleman greeting us. "Hello! What can I get for you all?" smiling at the older man, I looked to the guys. "You can order your treats first, alright…no arguing," giving them a look.
Hunny nodded and began to tell the gentleman his order as I looked over the menu once more.*Nope…still craving coffee ice cream* pouting as the man handed Hunny his sweet treat as Takashi paid, then everyone looked to me. "Oh right, you guys can go sit so he can enjoy it," nodding to the booth that was currently very animated *Really?* I sighed.
"Alright, but you better hurry, alright!" Hunny exclaimed before they both left, shaking my head at the two boys with a tiny smile as I looked to the gentleman. "I'll just have what I ordered earlier if that is alright," as he started to remake my order once more.
When it was complete, I handed over my money and picked up the treat. "Thank you again!" the man smiled and nodded to the table. "Now miss this time, do not let your boyfriend there eat it all" as he walked away. My face heated up as I stood frozen *Boyfriend* with wide eyes. Quickly shook my head to get rid of that image. *Nope…just no, that is too weird and would never happen…right* thinking as I made my way back to the booth. "I need more girlfriends, so this shit does not happen…" mumbling to no one.
Arriving at the table, I could feel the tension in the air *Fuck what happened while I was away?!* glancing at Haruhi, who only gave a 'don't ask' look. Standing there, unsure of what went down, Kaoru noticed me and got up so I could sit between him and his brother.
Sliding in as Kaoru followed after, Hikaru turned and saw me sitting beside him and wrapped an arm loosely around my waist. As Kaoru chose to drape an arm over the top of my shoulders.
(Sitting arrangement: Kaoru, Rose, Hikaru, Tamaki, Haruhi, Kyouya, Takashi, and Hunny)
Scooping out some of my ice cream, "So what did I miss?" scanned the table as I ate for the others to notice I was back. Tamaki looked at me directly. "After you left, we ask Kyoya what you two were doing before we arrived," lively as ever.
Tilting my head at Tamaki with a shrug, "Oh…okay?" as everyone went back into their little worlds. Hunny happily ate his treat as Takashi kept a close eye on him. Tamaki hugged Haruhi, who was trying but failing to push him off as Kyoya messed with his phone.
Stopping mid-bite, "Oh, right!" causing the table to look at me. "So I did some thinking about what you guys said the other day. I have my answer…but only if Haruhi gives it the okay," then continued to eat my treat between my words.
Haruhi looked entirely lost on what I had meant and sent a glare to Tamaki. "Got it," the blonde boy answered with a grin like a child on Christmas. Haruhi looked between us two, trying to figure out the 'secret' conversation that was happening.
Tamaki leaned forward with sparkling eyes. "So, what is your answer, Princess?" I looked around as everyone also seemed to be waiting for my answer.
Shrugging my shoulders, "Well…my answer is…sure, why not," causing some at the table to explode into chatter as Hikaru and Kaoru squished me in a tight hug. "Now, hold on!" Haruhi's voice interrupted the celebration causing me to smile.
~With Haruhi~
Rose suddenly blurted out, "Oh right," as her face became serious as she began to talk about something that she had to discuss with everyone else *When did this happen? Why does she want my approval with it* looking between Rose and an overly excited Tamaki? As soon as she revealed her answer as a yes, everyone cheered, but it only annoyed me at not knowing what was going on.
"Now hold it," interrupted the celebration."What is going on? Why do you need my approval if you already agreed, Rose?" asked her directly, causing a grin appears. Rose wiggled out of the twin's hug and leaned on the table towards me. "Yeah, I figured they did not tell you anything…short story, they want me to join the Host Club. Kinda zoned out after that and didn't hear the rest of what Blondie said, so yeah. I just wanted your approval because I did not want to join if you didn't want me to, but…." Rose trailed off.
Rose then focused on Kyoya "If I do join and if people pick me as a host. Then I want my earnings to go to paying off Haruhi's debt to the club." Rose kept an even stare, "That is my only condition if I join…" she waited for Kyoya to challenge it. Only to receive a nod, "I don't see the problem with that arrangement."
Everyone once turned towards me anxiously, waiting for my response. Glancing at Rose, "Are you sure?" causing her to chuckle. "Really…and miss hang out with you more…I can deal with crazy if you can" Rose smiled brightly as I let out a sigh. "Alright, I don't have a problem."
~With Rose~
My smile grew as Tamaki began to yell, some nonsense about having two daughters and the family growing with Haruhi's answer. Glancing to Kyoya, who was writing, "Is there anything that I need to do, or do I just show up on the days that the club is in session?" Kyoya's looked at me with a glint in his eye.
"No, just be sure you are on time after class on Monday" then he went back to writing something. Nodding, I continued to eat as I saw Hikaru kept stealing glances at my food. *Hmmm* scooping some up, I poked Hikaru, making him turn his head towards me with confused eyes as I shoved the spoon into his mouth.
Hikaru's eyes bludged as Kaoru, and I started to laugh like maniacs. Then I did the same thing to Kaoru, who had the same reaction as Hikaru. *Yep, this will be an exciting year with these crazy's* happily eating the last couple of scoops, not noticing either twin turning pink.
