Interrogating the Old Cartoonist Friend
After loosing Junior in that car chase, Benny took the three lovers to the only place he could think of to hide for a while and thought it would be the last place they would look for a murder there.
He took them to a movie theater booking them VIP seating where they can have privacy and some talking of what to do next.
"Oh man, that's the funniest part!" Velvet laughed when watching a funny movie of panda trying to learn kung fu and kept screwing up.
"Velvet, please keep your voice down. We don't want to draw any unwanted attention on us." Pyrrha reminded as she is wearing a rainbow afro for a disguise.
"Sorry, I just help when I see something funny, I just have to laugh." Velvet explained.
"Well, … I guess I can't help but agree with you there." Pyrrha giggled.
However, Jaune is the only one who isn't joining on the conversation about the funny parts in the movie they are currently watching, he is doing some deep thinking about everything he just learned for this case with what Jessica told and from the research he done during these short days.
"Jaune, are you feeling okay?" Pyrrha asked, but he didn't respond.
"It looks like our cutie Arc knight is having some thoughts about the case." Velvet noticed and then a thought came to her mind.
"Hey, did my mom come by to his office by any chance?" Velvet asked.
"That's right, I saw her in with Jaune was they were having some tough involving the case, they were also doing some "interesting" things before I came in." Pyrrha explained with a smirk.
"Interesting things, what do you mean?" Velvet wondered what Pyrrha is talking about.
Instead of answering the question with words, Pyrrha use hand gestures with one finger going through a loop made from her finger and thumb as her silent message telling Velvet that Jaune had sex with her own mother.
Seeing the message causes Velvet's rabbit ears to straighten up in shock and her face turning red of embarrassment that her mom did the deed with Jaune after her.
"Holy fuck, I can't believe mom and Jaune did that together, and I was right across the street from that!" Velvet squealed.
"I know, and I was watching how it was. I'll be happy to tell you how it went right now if you want to." Pyrrha grinned.
"No, no, I think I can already imagine how it was for them." Velvet giggld.
"Anyway, I think we need to wake up Jaune so we can plan our next move." Velvet said.
"Good point, then let's kiss him together." Pyrrha suggested.
Velvet and Pyrrha lean together onto Jaune's face kissing his lips at the same time, and a few seconds later Jaune started to react on the kiss with his eyes widen of shock and suddenly hug his two lovers into his arms.
"Sheesh, you girls could have just tap on my shoulders." Jaune chuckled.
"We just thought kissing would be a better way." Velvet smiled.
"So, what do you think we should do now?" Pyrrha asked.
"Well, we have until midnight tonight to figure out about Roger and Marvin's death, why Shake Tail want the two places Marvin own, and how does Maroon fit into all this." Jaune said.
"I know it's tough, but I'm sure you can figure this out." Pyrrha believed.
"That's right, and we're going to help you along the way." Velvet smiled with her ears twitching happily.
"Thanks, though I wish I had a little more talk with Jessica about what she wanted to say earlier." Jaune sighed.
"Then why don't we have that talk now?" Jessica asked as she walks in.
"Mom!" Velvet smiled and jumped at her mom for a reunion hug.
"Oh, my sweet little carrot cake! How I miss you so much." Jessica hugged back her daughter with tears of joy coming in.
"Mom, I'm so sorry that I was angry at you for not telling me about my sister and I just want you to know that I still love you!" Velvet sobbed.
"Of course, baby, I promise I won't keep any secrets like this from you ever again." Jessica promised.
"Glad to see you're okay, Jessica." Jaune smiled as he and Pyrrha walked up to them.
"And you are looking handsome as ever, my Arc knight." Jessica said and kissed him on the lips for a second.
"Now, I suppose you all haven't decided on what to do next." Jessica guessed.
"That's right, I think there are still a few pieces of this mystery missing before calling this case close." Jaune said.
"Then it's a good thing I came here as soon as I could when I heard how you busted out Benny, so I figured he would take you to this theater." Jessica explained how she found them here.
"Great, now let's go and see what we got." Jaune determined to solve this case for his uncle.
"Oh no, why?!" Velvet gasped making the others jump.
"Velvet, what's wrong?" Jaune asked.
"My necklace! I can't find my necklace on my neck anymore!" Velvet answered crying.
"Oh my, now that you mention it, I think I lost my necklace too!" Pyrrha realized as she looks down at her neck.
"Okay, don't worry, I'm sure you both must have dropped them on the floor somewhere." Jaune hoped he's right.
"Right, we were holding them in our hands and didn't put them back on our necks." Pyrrha recalled.
"Hey Jessica, why don't you take the girls to your car that no doubt you came here with, and I'll catch up with the necklace." Jaune suggested.
"Sure, I was planning on having a little private time with my daughter anyway." Jessica nodded and looked to Pyrrha for a moment with a slight sad face.
"Uh, is something wrong, Miss Rabbit?" Pyrrha asked.
"No, it's nothing." Jessica said as she guides the girls to her car.
Jaune went back to the seats they were at searching on the floor and between hoping though starts to worry they might have fallen onto the lower level, he kept looking for them until he spotted a glimmering light from the light of the movie that is playing right now. He narrows his eyes a little to see the two necklaces in one spot, the orange carrot that belongs to Velvet, and the green leafy thing that belongs to Pyrrha.
"Ah, found you two." Jaune reached for the two necklaces and grabs them into his hand.
"Now, to get you back to you owners as I'm sure they're worried about you." Jaune said.
But then the detective Arc notice something odd about the necklaces as how they are together like a completed carrot, and he tries to pull them apart though finds it a little hard until he got them apart.
"That's odd, it's like these two were meant to come together." Jaune wondered what this could mean, and felt like he has seen this kind of necklace before but couldn't remember where.
And suddenly Jaune has a thought about something and took out his IPhone to find something until he found a news video.
"And how we bring up a news coming from the Heart Patch Studio where we see R.K. Maroon accepting a check from the Shake Tail's bankers and execs, probably one of the biggest real estate deals in Vale history!" The newsman said with Maroon in the video.
"I see, so that's the connection!" Jaune said as he hurries to the car where his three lovers are.
"Hey, start the car!" Jaune shouted and jumped into the car with the girls.
"Jaune, are you okay?" Pyrrha asked.
"Well, I think I just solved one of the big mysteries for this case, and… I'm going to make a call." Jaune smirked as he starts making a call.
(Nighttime, Heart Patch Studio)
Jessica drove the car right into the studio and right in front of the tall building where Maroon's office is and the man himself is going to be since Jaune made the call to meet him there.
"I don't know if this is a good idea, Jaune." Velvet worried.
"I agree with her, making a risky move like that could get your hurt more than you know." Jessica pointed out.
"I understand the risk, but this might be the only chance we get for the answers we want." Jaune stated as they got out of the car.
"But you told him that you found Marvin Acme will which you don't have. The man will get angry for that." Pyrrha figured how Maroon is going to react.
"Don't worry, I knew the man would react to that and there's no way he would want to see this himself." Jaune smirked.
"And I also want you girls to hide from behind me while I talk to the man." Jaune mentioned.
"I've been waiting to get some payback from that man, he got a lot to answer for from how he treated to make demands on me." Jessica angered.
"Whoa, it's been a long time since I've seen mom this angry before." Velvet shocked.
"Come on, Mr. Maroon is waiting." Jaune said as they march into the building.
Unknown to them, a shadowy figure is watching Jaune and the three girls going into the building together and reveal he is holding a gun.
(With Maroon)
Maroon is seen in his office getting himself a drink with his jacket off, his tie a little loose from his neck, and holding a little gold gun waiting for Jaune to come with the will to make his plan work and hopefully to stop the bad thing that is going to happen soon.
Jaune came into the room through a door that Jessica told him about that is behind the big poster to make sure he doesn't alert Maroon so soon, then he walks up to him with a tap on the shoulder.
"AH!" Maroon jumped and turned around seeing Jaune.
"Easy sir, it's just me." Jaune assured.
"For Remnant sake, Arc! Are you trying to give me a heart attack?" Maroon asked yelling.
"Sorry, just wanted to be sure I wasn't followed consider this meeting is a little private." Jaune said.
"Yeah, yeah, now do you have the will?" Maroon asked.
"I got it but let me tell you it was really hard to find it." Jaune mentioned holding a white folded piece of paper.
"Good, now give it to me." Maroon said holding out his hand.
"Hold on, I just have some questions to ask if you don't mind." Jaune said.
"I don't care for the questions, just give me the paper!" Maroon snatched the paper from Jaune and opening it up to see the will.
"Dear mother, have I love to say I'm sorry for running off…?" Maroon read the letter and realize this isn't the will of Marvin Acme.
"(Glad Velvet gave me that apology letter.)" Jaune thought smirked.
(Flashback, Moments Ago)
"Hold on, I think you should use this." Velvet pulled out the white folded piece of paper from her back pocket.
"What's this?" Jaune asked.
"It's an apology letter I made, I wanted to read it to my mom for how I was angry to her thinking she didn't care about me and realizing how stupid it was for thinking like that." Velvet explained.
"I understand, sweetie, I should have listened to Marvin about revealing the truth to you." Jessica placed a hand on Velvet's shoulder.
"It'll be a good cover since the back is blank, so the will should be the same." Pyrrha stated.
"Perfect, thank you, Velvet." Jaune thanked and kiss Velvet on the lips.
"Alright, you girls follow me from behind and I'll call you all to come in once I have Maroon corner." Jaune told them of the plan.
"Good luck." Jessica smiled and kissed him on the lips.
"We'll be sure to keep Maroon from doing anything or getting away." Pyrrha promised before kissing Jaune too.
"Alright, let's do this." Jaune nodded and walked into the building.
(Flashback End)
"(Now, to get him talking.)" Jaune thought readied to unleash his plan whole reaching for a drink squirter on a counter.
"Is this some kind of joke?" Maroon asked angry.
"No, but this is!" Jaune held the sparkling water squirter and spray onto Maroon's face.
Maroon became a little stun from the surprise wet attack on his face for a moment as he tries to dry himself off, but that only left himself open for Jaune to throw a punch that knocked him down right on the nose.
"Maroon, you got a lot to answer for involving the questions I have." Jaune grabbed the shirt lifting Maroon up.
"You know, I never picture you to be the type of man who can be obese with greed, black mailing an innocent woman, and perhaps murder for not getting what you want." Jaune angered.
"What are you talking about? I never killed anybody I swear!" Maroon said with fear in his voice.
"Let see if you're ready to tell me what I want to hear or else I'll edit your words out." Jaune pulled in a film editing machine close.
Jaune put the tie in the machine and start it up pulling the tie in along with Maroon close to it making him scream in fear.
"Now, my first question: you were planning on selling your property for a big far check from Shake Tail, but they didn't want your studio alone, is that right?" Jaune asked.
"Yes, yes, I had the chance to sell my property and they wanted to have Acme's property too, but the old fool wouldn't budge and that's when I decided to blackmail him with picture of him and Jessica together." Maroon confessed.
"Oh, so you were using me to take those pictures even though it's using your own friends to get what you want." Jaune said upset.
"Please understand, I never meant to hurt Jessica like that, but it was the only thing I could think of to get Acme to sell his properties." Maroon proclaimed.
"Well, you certainly hurt her more than you realize. Right, Jessica?" Jaune called out.
"Indeed, it was heartbreaking to see the kind of man you have become." Jessica revealed herself along with Velvet and Pyrrha.
"Jessica, and Velvet too?!" Maroon gasped.
"Hello, my name is Pyrrha Nikos, and I have to say that I'm very disappointed in you." Pyrrha introduced herself with a glare.
"Not only did you try doing something horrible to my mom, but you even try using Acme's death as a way to get money? I can't believe you!" Velvet angered.
"Hold on, I swear on my life I didn't kill Acme! I was only going for the blackmail, that all!" Maroon cried.
"But it was still bad thing you have done to your friends." Pyrrha
"Please! I've been working on cartoons my whole life and I've always love cartoon, including making them with everyone here and the fun times at Toon Remnant! I just didn't want it all to be destroyed." Maroon expressed in tears.
"What about my uncle, Johnny Arc? You hired him for a case that involved trying to search about Roger and Jessica rabbit." Jaune asked.
"Yes, I started to notice that Jessica was doing something odd like sending Velvet's old clothes to someone in secret and a few other things which later you helped it was about her missing second daughter." Maroon explained.
"Yeah, and she is standing right here." Jaune pointed at Pyrrha.
"Uh, Jaune, what are you saying?" Pyrrha asked surprise.
That's when Jaune held up the necklaces of Pyrrha and Velvet as they are together again like before back at the theater, Jessica's eyes widen of realization.
"That necklace… It's Roger's!" Jessica said shocking the two girls.
"That's right, I thought it was odd at first when they were together like until I remember of all the pictures, I saw of Roger wearing that same necklace for the longest time and seeing this now means he must have separated it for the two to share, for the daughters to have something from the father." Jaune explained of what he found out.
"So then…" Velvet realized.
"That' means we're…" Pyrrha coming to that same conclusion as they look at each other.
"Sisters!" Velvet and Pyrrha said at the same time, they started to cry as they turn to Jessica, Maroon is also shocked about this.
"Yes, it's all true. Pyrrha is the long-lost daughter Roger and I lost years ago when Velvet was still two years old, and I found her years later living with a good family. I wanted to reveal myself to you, but I was afraid that you might hate me for thinking we didn't want you, and…" Jessica was cut off when Pyrrha suddenly hug her out of nowhere.
"I would never hate you, the fact you gave me the necklace and hearing how you never gave up on me after all these years, I'm just so happy." Pyrrha smiled and Velvet smile crying too.
"Oh, my little red carrot." Jessica hugged her.
"Damn it, all I wanted was to make sure the Toon Remnant doesn't get destroyed." Maroon sobbed.
"What do you mean destroy? Did had something to do with the case my uncle was on?" Jaune asked.
"If I tell you now then I'm a dead man." Maroon warned.
"You'll be worse than dead if you don't answer the question." Jessica threatened with the machine on again to pull the tie in further.
"Johnny found out something that he said was bigger than he thought, saying he found out the truth about Roger's death." Maroon mentioned.
A long gun is slowly peaking out of a curtain from a window pointing at Jaune.
"What happened to my father?" Pyrrha demanded.
"Look, if the will isn't presented by midnight tonight then Toon is going to be"
"Jaune, look out!" Jessica quickly pulled Jaune away from Maroon and the gun fired onto Maroon twice killing him.

Some answers have been revealed such as Pyrrha being the long-lost daughter of Jessica and Roger Rabbit that disappeared when she was a baby, and it looks like the true culprit of this case is about to be reveal soon.
