Movie Chapter: Two Heroes

Author's Note: Hey, everyone! It's been a while. I've been taking a break since I've been busy with life, but I've been working on this in the background the whole time. This is an insanely long chapter since it isn't based on the show, but rather the movie. It was really fun, and also exhausting, to write this and I hope you like it! This takes place in between Seasons 2 and 3, so it's a while back from where we are now in the story. I can't guarantee that I'll be releasing chapters consistently, but I am continuing to work on this project. Anyway, that's all for me now! Enjoy!

It was an average day in Las Vegas, busy as always. Many civilians roamed the streets, living carefree. The Pidoves flew in the sky, wild Purrloin and Glameow lurked in the alleyways, and the occasional Croagunk would appear to mess with any unlucky passerby. Things were looking perfectly fine until the worst happened.

There was a huge explosion from a nearby casino, and from the smoke emerged a man riding atop a Copperajah. He cackled loudly as he held bags of money close to him. "Ten million dollars! Just like that! I love it here!" He yelled.

Suddenly, as they were making their escape, two Heroes landed in front of them and stopped them in their tracks. One of them wore a fully black outfit and a red cape. He clenched his fist and sent out his Manectric before pointing at the Villain. "Your crime spree ends here! Thunderbolt!" He shouted. The Pokemon released a stream of electricity, creating an explosion and hurting the Copperajah.

Unfortunately, it wasn't enough. From the smoke, Copperajah ran out and began charging right at them. The other hero, a woman dressed in a western cowboy outfit, sent out her Tauros and smiled. "This ends here!" She shouted as the Pokemon charged toward the Villain.

However, the man and his Pokemon were prepared. "Flash Cannon!" He yelled. Before Tauros could even get close, the Copperderm Pokemon released a huge blast of light that knocked it out.

To make their escape, the Pokemon began charging through the streets, completely disregarding anything it might trample. Eventually, it reached a street filled with occupied cars, but they didn't care. "Just crush them! We gotta get out of here!" Just as it was about to trample the civilians though, a Pokemon came out of nowhere and landed a punch that sent the Steel-type Pokemon flying across the road.

There stood a Lucario, owned by a young man. He seemed to be in his early twenties, with a very muscular build. He had bright blue eyes, as well as blonde hair with two tufts sticking up on top of his head. He also wore a jacket. On the back, it had the design of a cherry blossom branch with the words "Plus Ultra!" Written above it.

"Fear not citizens…" He and his Lucario turned around and gave the people a thumbs up. "For I am here!" He said.

The Villain and his Copperajah got back up and looked at the young man angrily. "Oh? And just who the hell do you think you are?!" He asked.

The blonde man smiled and nodded. "Just an exchange student from Japan who was taking his Pokemon out for a walk." He said confidently. The Villain simply scoffed and got back on top of Copperajah. "Then I'll just send you back home, only if there's anything left!" The giant Pokemon launched another Flash Cannon, but for Lucario, it was no problem.

"Aura Sphere!" The young man shouted. Doing as he was told, the Pokemon launched an orb of concentrated aura, colliding with the Flash Cannon and creating a large explosion. The young trainer turned back to where the Villain was and smiled. "I'm sorry, what were you- huh?" However, they were already gone.

Turning to the side, he saw the Copperajah had taken a turn and ran in the other direction. "Running away already?" The man asked. Suddenly, a red vehicle sped by the cars and stopped right in front of the trainer. Inside was another man in a white jacket. He had brown hair and looked to be about the same age, albeit much less muscular. Beside him was a Grumpig wearing a motorcycle helmet. "Got ahead of yourself," The man in the vehicle said as the trainer and his Lucario hopped into the back seat.

"They're fast, David! After them!" He yelled. The driver, David, let out a sigh and laughed. "You always move before you think." He said before speeding ahead. The Copperajah was surprisingly mobile, able to make sharp turns with ease and easily keeping up with the speed of David's car.

"Stop them!" The Villain yelled. In another effort to stop the Heroes, Copperajah dug its trunk into the ground and scooped up huge chunks of concrete, launching them towards their pursuers. Unfortunately for them, Grumpig easily caught them with Psychic and gently set them on the ground, avoiding more damage to the area. "You're kidding me?!"

David let out a sigh and turned to the man sitting behind him. "Toshi, we're gonna be late to the lecture! Hurry up and finish this already!"

"That's the plan!" He looked at his Lucario and nodded. Taking the signal, the Aura Pokemon jumped in the air and began running toward Copperajah and the Villain. "You just don't give up!" The Villain yelled as he slammed his fist onto his Pokemon. It turned around and got ready to use Flash Cannon, but another Aura Sphere slammed into them, sending them stumbling back.

Left with no other options, the two Pokemon began charging right at each other. "Agh! Fine, we'll finish this!" The Villain yelled as Copperajah used Heat Crash. "Not if we do it first!" Toshi yelled. "Use Close Combat!" Despite facing a super-effective hit, Lucario simply overpowered the Copperajah too much and sent it flying into a nearby building, easily knocking both it and its trainer out.

All Might got out of the car and ran up to Lucario before laughing. Everyone turned their eyes to the pair as they picked up the money and handed it to some nearby police officers who were following the fight.

"Who is that Hero?"

"I've never seen him before!"

"That was awesome!"

David stopped his car behind the civilians and smiled. "He's an exchange student from Japan! You can call him All Might." He said. "You better remember it too. Some day, that name'll be known throughout the world. One day, he'll become our Symbol of Peace…"

After helping everything get settled, David and Toshinori returned their Pokemon to their Pokeballs and began speeding back to their campus in the vehicle. "Thanks for your help, Dave!" The Japanese student said. "Your car saved our asses back there, not to mention Grumpig! Because of you, it looks like we'll make it back to class in time too!"

David laughed and stepped on the pedal harder, speeding up. "Heh, you better thank me. If we get late again, I doubt they'll let us pass the course!"

Suddenly, another signal could be heard over the radio. David created a device that could pick up on nearby radio signals coming from police officers so they could deal with any Villains in the area, but they hadn't expected to hear another one this fast.\

"I'm reporting a Pokemon theft incident! A man has just stolen a Carbink from a civilian! Requesting back-up!"

Toshinori smiled as he pulled out his Pokeball again. "You hear that?" He asked, but David seemed rather unamused. "It's too risky, man." They remained silent before a smile finally cracked through. "For a student, you are way too reckless." He said.

"Does that mean you'll help me?"

"What choice do I have?"

The two laughed as they sent out their partner Pokemon again. "Man, who knew being a Hero would be this much work?" David asked as Grumpig let out a sigh of exhaustion. Toshinori smiled and shrugged. "Eh, don't worry about it. I'll buy you lunch." He said as they zoomed to their next destination.

That was a fond memory All Might held. It was one of the many times he and his former sidekick, David Shield had gone out and fought Villains. David and his Grumpig weren't much of fighters, but they still helped All Might out nonetheless.

Why was All Might suddenly reminiscing about his time with David Shield in America though? Well, that very same David Shield had a daughter that invited him to visit I-Island, an artificial island, for the big I-Expo event preview. He was allowed to take an extra guest with him, and who better than his successor, Izuku Midoriya.

They were on a private plane as they approached the stunning industrial mass in the distance. "All Might, look! We can see it!" Izuku excitedly said. The island itself looked beautiful. It was a perfect circle with an outer wall along the edges. Inside it was littered with tall and colorful buildings, but there were a lot of trees and grass to contrast them. "I can't believe this is where I get to start summer vacation!"

"I didn't realize you'd be this excited. Glad I invited you." All Might said with a small chuckle, but Izuku was still a little unsure about the whole 'being invited' thing. "You sure it's okay for me to come? It's not gonna be a problem or anything?"

The Hero shook his head and smiled. "Don't worry about it. The invitation said I could bring a guest along too." He said, but something still felt a little wrong. "But doesn't that mean like a family member or-"

"Midoriya, I think you're forgetting that we're connected by something much thicker than blood." All Might said. "We'll forever share the bond of One for All."

In all fairness, the man was right. Izuku and All Might had a much stronger connection than most people. That itself was enough to ease the boy's worries. "Right." He said, letting out a sigh of relief.

"Attention, passengers. We are about to begin our descent. Please prepare for landing." The pilot said over the speaker. All Might let out a sigh and stood up before shifting into his Muscle Form. "This is gonna be exhausting…" He said. "Once we get out of here, I need to maintain my Muscle Form the whole time. Now, it's about time for you to change as well." A huge grin formed on Izuku's face as he got up. "I'll go now!"

With Izuku and All Might now in their Hero costumes, they stepped out of the plane and went through the strict security process to enter. As they were being scanned, All Might decided to give Izuku a little test.

"Okay, trivia time! Why was this artificial island created?" He asked. Izuku placed his hand over his chin and smiled.

"It started out as a project from some of the most brilliant minds to create an artificial Power Spot, the thing that lets Pokemon Dynamax and Gigantamax using a Wishing Piece. Eventually, it became something much bigger though, and that Power Spot just became the energy source for an entire island they built to house some of the greatest scientists and inventors. They made the island movable to protect them from Villains and it's got a security system better than even the one at Tartarus prison, so it's super safe."

All Might laughed and gave the boy a thumbs up. "That's way more than I asked for but I should've expected that from you!"

As was said, All Might and Izuku were invited here for the I-Expo Preview Event. I-Expo itself is an event where the island is opened to the public and the residents get to show off their latest inventions and advancements in technology. The Preview Event is on an invite-only basis where those invited get to get a look at everything just a day before the event itself. Those with special tickets would also be given access to a formal party that night where the top scientists gather to celebrate their work.

Izuku stepped out of the airport and was astounded at what he saw. The whole place looked like a huge amusement park. There were so many inventions and colorful buildings that filled the area. It was completely unlike anything he had ever seen before. "I can't believe there's so many people here before the island is opened to the public." All Might said as he stepped forward beside the young boy.

"The pictures really don't do this place justice. It's amazing…" Izuku said.

"Okay… next stop is the hotel. It should just be-"

"Is that All Might?!" A woman shouted, getting the attention of everyone nearby.

"Woah, really?"

"The Top Hero!"

Before they could even react, Izuku and All Might were completely swarmed by a huge crowd of people. "Oh, uh, thank you for the warm welcome!" The Hero said. "Form a line for autographs please!"

Eventually, the two managed to escape to a relatively empty area of the island. It was a simple park with a lake. Most of the people were over with the attractions, so being able to rest at a spot like this was nice. "Oh man, I wasn't expecting to get stopped for that long. I'm afraid we might be late."

"Late to what?" Izuku asked, All Might realizing he had completely forgotten to tell his successor the entire reason he had been invited in the first place. "I was invited by a good friend of mine who I haven't seen in a while. Sorry to spring it on you, but would you mind tagging along?"

Once again, the boy's eyes lit up and he began jumping in place. "Of course!" He exclaimed.

All Might took another second to look around and make sure nobody was listening before getting close to Izuku and whispering something. "Also, I haven't told him about One for All and everything, so make sure to keep that part a secret."

As they were getting ready to leave, they heard the sound of a spring bouncing. In the distance, they could see a… Spoink? "Uncle! There you are!" A blonde girl with glasses ran up to them from behind the little Pokemon and jumped into the man's arms.

"It's so good to see you, Melissa!" All Might said as he embraced her. "It's been forever!" The girl, Melissa said. The Hero laughed and set the girl down before patting her on the head. "My, I almost didn't even recognize you! When did you grow up on me?"

'Well, I am 17 now!" Melissa said, much to All Might's shock. "17! Wow! You're really grown up now, huh? Oh, and Spoink too! This must be the egg that you showed me last time!"

Meanwhile, Izuku stood there completely confused. Was this girl All Might's friend? They must've met when she was a baby or something… but he said it was an old friend.

"And what about Dave? Where is he?" All Might asked. "Oh, he's just in his lab. He had a breakthrough on something he's been studying for years, so he's been spending a lot of time there. He doesn't actually know you're here, so this whole thing is a surprise."

The Hero nodded and laughed. "Sounds like Dave, alright…" He said before turning to Izuku. "Anyway, Midoriya, this is my friend Dave's daughter."

Ah, that made more sense.

The girl turned to Izuku and held out her hand. "Hi! Nice to meet you! I'm Melissa Shield." Izuku quickly removed his glove and shook her hand firmly. "It's good to meet you! I'm Izuku Midoriya, but you can call me… uh… Deku! I'm a first-year at UA High." Outside of school, maybe it'd be best if others referred to him as his Hero name, especially to someone who he was introducing himself as a Hero to.

"Oh, the Hero Course! So that's how you know Uncle Might!" Melissa exclaimed, sounding more excited than before. "Y-Yeah! I'm his student!"

The girl excitedly shook the boy's hand. "Wow! I can't believe I'm meeting someone Uncle Might teaches! You must be a really skilled trainer!" She said, causing Izuku to blush. "O-Oh, I wouldn't say that…"

"Anyway!" All Might interrupted them. "We should be going now, right?" The Hero asked. "Oh, right! Follow me!" Melissa returned Spoink to his Pokeball and ran ahead. "If we hurry, we can surprise papa in his lab! It's right over here!"

Meanwhile, a group of men exited the airport as one of them got a call. "We've entered the expo without a problem. So, when do the goods arrive?" The man asked. "3 PM." The voice on the phone said. "You'll find it over at 96."

"Then we'll be waiting." The man said before hanging up. Little did All Might and Izuku know, their little vacation was going to take a drastic turn.

Over with David Shield, he had finally wrapped up writing a few things in his notebook when another man entered. He had shorter hair and was shorter than him, but he had a gentle look on his face. "Hey, professor. I've just finished putting the equipment away." He said.

"Ah, thanks, Sam!" David said as he and his assistant left the lab. "Why don't you go have some lunch with Melissa today? You've finally got some free time."

"I would, but she's busy at school today." The scientist replied as he locked the lab doors. "Oh, really? Aren't they on break for I-Expo?" Sam asked. "Yeah, but she's doing her own independent research."

"You know me. I am my father's daughter, after all." Melissa walked up from behind them and waved. "For better and for worse."

David and Sam both waved back as she approached them. "It's good to see you, miss." Sam politely greeted. "Right back at ya, Sam! Thanks for taking care of papa for me since he's always in the lab."

The three of them laughed as David pat his daughter on the head. "Oh come on, I'm not that bad!" He said. "Anyway, what brings you here today?"

"Since you finished the first stage of your research, I invited someone over to celebrate with us!" She said with a huge smile.

"And who would that- huh?!"

"I am here, shaking with emotion for our heartfelt reunion!" All Might suddenly appeared from the corridor and struck a pose with a shy Izuku behind him. "Toshi- uh, All Might?!" David was completely caught off-guard by the sudden appearance of his old friend.

"N-No way…" Even Sam didn't see this coming.

"I've come all this way to see you, Dave old buddy!" All Might approached them and embraced his friend tight. "Are you surprised, papa?!" Melissa asked excitedly. Initially, David was left speechless, unsure what to make of the situation, but after a few moments, he smiled and nodded. "Y-Yeah… didn't see this coming at all!"

"Man, how long has it been?" All Might asked as he set David down. The scientist smiled and lightly punched his friend on the arm. "Aw, come on. Don't make me say it. I feel old enough already." The two of them laughed together before the Hero pat his old friend on the back.

"It's good to see you, old friend." He said, holding out his hand. David smiled and shook it. "Agreed. It's been too long." He replied before the two gave each other a fist bump. All Might then turned back to his student and smiled. "Midoriya, let me introduce you to my friend." He said, though Izuku seemed to be in a state of shock. "I know him!"

The boy ran up to David and started hopping in place.. "Professor David Shield! One of the top scientists in the world! He even received a Nobel Pokemon Prize! He was All Might's partner when he lived in America and he completely revolutionized Pokemon Support Items! I never thought I'd get to meet him in real life!" He began literally shaking in excitement by the time he finished his… summary of David's work, causing Melissa to laugh.

David turned to the boy and smiled. "Well, looks like I don't even need to introduce myself." He said, bringing Izuku back to Earth. "A-Ah, sorry! I got carried away!" He apologized profusely, much to the professor's dismay. "N-No need to worry about it."

All Might coughed subtly, giving his old friend the signal. Luckily for him, David caught on and turned to Melissa. "Hey, listen. It's been a long time. Mind giving us time to catch up? Melissa, why don't you show Midoriya here around the Expo?"

"Sure thing, papa. Sounds like fun!" Izuku turned back to the girl with an expression of hesitance on his face. "You sure it's no trouble? You're not busy or anything?" Melissa shook her head and began walking with him down the corridor. "No, of course not! I'm honored to show off our work to a future Hero."

As they turned a corner, David turned to his assistant who had been silently, yet happily watching everything unfold. "Sam, why don't you take a break too?"

As soon as the man left, All Might collapsed to the ground and reverted to his weakened state. "Th-Thanks for catching it… the amount of time I can keep up that form is getting shorter and shorter."

David helped his friend up and let out a sigh. "You said it was bad in your email, but I didn't think it was this serious…" The two re-entered the lab as All Might coughed up more blood.

Meanwhile, Melissa had brought Izuku to the main area of the expo. Riolu and Eevee were running around, jumping around the benches and trees while the more stoic Combusken walked behind them. Apparently, due to the high security, people were allowed to have Pokemon out of their Pokeballs at all times, with a few restrictions such as size.

As for the main area itself, it was completely packed. There were a surprising amount of people for a private event, adding to the whole amusement park feel to the entire island. "Wow, this is amazing! I can't believe the entire island is man-made too, it's nuts!"

Melissa smiled happily and brought her hands together. "Yup! You never run out of things to do here! I get so excited whenever the Expo comes around since everyone here gets to show off their hard work."

As they were walking around, Izuku spotted a lot of Pros. According to Melissa, they were invited by scientists as sort of ambassadors for the new tech they were all working on which was why they were here before the public opening. "Most of them are gonna be at the big party tonight, too!" She said. "Though I guess you already knew that. You came here with Uncle Might after all."

That definitely explained why All Might told Izuku to bring formal clothes…

Eventually, they came to one of the main attractions. It was a building filled with some of the bigger or more intricate creations that couldn't be simply shown off outside. "Wow…" Izuku said, completely astounded at the sheer amount of Support items there.

"Check this out!" Melissa ran over to what seemed like some kind of plane. "These jets are inspired by Garchomps and Sharpedos! It can fly in the air, dig through the ground, and maneuver underwater!" Eevee tried to jump onto it and play, but Riolu and Combusken were fast enough to stop her.

"So cool!" Izuku began jumping up and down in excitement as Melissa showed off more of the gadgets the scientists of I-Island had made.

"This suit is designed after Sobble's ability to turn invisible when it touches water. When you're underwater, you can camouflage with anything around you!" She pointed to the suit which, of course, was submerged underwater and constantly changed colors to match the changing background behind it.

She then ran up to a pair of handcuffs being tested in a room with men in white hazmat suits. "These are special handcuffs with the gas of a Galarian Weezing inside. Because of its ability, Neutralizing Gas, it renders a lot of dangerous abilities useless when put around a Pokemon!"

Izuku was completely in awe at the sheer creativity of a lot of these devices. They all used such advanced technology that he hadn't even heard of before. It was amazing. His Pokemon were rather impressed with everything around them as well. They didn't quite understand the technology, but they found a lot of entertainment in watching the devices do whatever they were designed to do.

"You know, almost everything here was made using different inventions that papa patented," Melissa said as they continued walking around the exhibit. Izuku smiled and nodded. "Yeah… you must be really proud of him!"

"Of course!" The girl said happily. "These Support items will help Heroes around the world. Who knows how many people will be affected because of these things?"

"I'm glad your dad is someone you can look up to," Izuku said as they stopped by a giant Rhydon-themed tank. "That's because I wanna be a scientist one day too."

"Oh, does that mean you're studying at the school here on the island?"

"Yup! I'm a third-year."

The thought of meeting someone who went to the island's esteemed school was enough to get him excited. "The I-Island Academy is where everyone who dreams of becoming a scientist wants to go! You must be a real genius!"

Melissa laughed nervously and shook her head. "I wouldn't say that." She said. "I still have a lot to learn. Honestly, I should probably be studying more." Izuku smiled and nodded in agreement. "I feel the same. If I wanna be a Hero like All Might, I need to work extra hard."

The girl crossed her arms and laughed. "Uncle Might has a special place in your heart, doesn't he, Deku? I still can't get over how much you were geeking out earlier" She said in a very kind way, causing Izuku to become instantly embarrassed. "Y-Yeah. Sorry, I'm a bit of a fanboy." He said.

"Looks like you're having fun, Deku."

The sudden appearance of the person behind them startled both Izuku and Melissa, the former was completely shocked to find that that person was none other than his best friend: Ochako Uraraka, there complete in her Hero costume. In the corner, Izuku could see Riolu and Eevee snickering. "Uraraka?! What are you doing here?!"

"Looks like you're having fun." She said before Clefable poked her trainer on the head, bringing her back to Earth. Suddenly, they heard someone clear their throat. Izuku turned and saw both Momo and Kyoka, also in their Hero costumes, there with their Aegislash and Noivern respectively. "Midoriya, Riolu, and Eevee were running around and led us here."

Of course. It was his Pokemon that led them to him.

"Deku, do you know these people?" Melissa asked. Izuku turned and nodded nervously. "Y-Yeah, these are my classmates at UA. I didn't tell them I'd be here." He said. "Guys, this is my friend, Melissa. She's just showing me around the Expo a little bit."

Melissa smiled and bowed. "Nice to meet you! My dad and Uncle Might are-"

"-KEN!" Combusken cried out, cutting Melissa off and giving Izuku time to run up to her and whisper something in her ear. "I'm sorry! Please don't tell them I came here as All Might's guest! It's kind of a big secret, okay?"

"B-But why?" The justifiably confused Melissa asked.

"They're his students too and we don't want anyone knowing he took me alone." Though she didn't really understand the situation, she didn't want to intrude on anything and decided to help keep the secret. Melissa then offered to take everybody to the cafe. She wanted to get to know as many future Heroes as possible.

"So you really worked with Heroes?! Like, out on the field and everything?!" Melissa asked, excited at the idea that she wasn't just meeting Heroes-in-Training, she was meeting REAL Heroes.

"Oh, no! Nothing like that! Just a few patrols and stuff." Ochako shook her head and laughed. Kyoka leaned back in her chair and nodded. "I helped out with a hostage crisis, but only with the end because Chimecho made everyone feel better."

"Somehow I ended up in a commercial for hair products…" Momo let out a sigh, looking back on the… rather sour memories she had spending her internship at Uwabami's agency. "Must have been an experience! You guys are super lucky." Melissa said, slightly reinvigorating the sad Vice Representative.

Meanwhile, Izuku was just relieved that the girls didn't question anything else… like why he was there. He didn't have an excuse since he didn't expect anyone he knew to be here at all.

"And here are your Pokepuffs, sir." The waiter set down the three colored treats for Izuku's Pokemon, but something struck Izuku as strange. "Wait, I know that voice… Kaminari?!" The boy looked up and saw his classmate standing there. Not only that, but Minoru was there too, both of them in waiter uniforms.

The girls looked up and were just as shocked to see their classmates. "What are you doing here?" Kyoka asked. "The cafe needed extra staff so we applied since it'd get us free tickets here," Denki explained.

Minoru crossed his arms and smiled proudly. "We get to visit the Expo on our breaks AND make money. Plus, there's a chance we'll get to have passionate encounters with…" Suddenly, he spotted Melissa seated at the table and got excited.

He and Denki pulled Izuku aside and began snickering. "Hey, Midoriya?! Who's that high-voltage hottie over there?!"

"Yeah, don't be greedy! Introduce us!"

Combusken and Riolu managed to pull the two students away from Izuku's personal space while Eevee slapped them both in the face with her tail. Suddenly, a Skarmory quickly swooped in and hit both of them, knocking them to the ground. "You two said you wanted to make money, right? Stop slacking off!"

No way… Izuku looked up and saw Tenya approaching them. He pet his Skarmory before it perched back on his shoulder. "Iida?! You're here too?" Ochako asked. The Class Representative smiled as he fed the Steel bird a treat.

"I come from a long line of Heroes, so we received an invitation to the Expo. My family was busy though, so it's just me." He said. Momo nodded and stood up. "I was wondering if you'd be here. I received an invitation since my father is a shareholder in a lot of the sponsor companies."

Kyoka laughed and took another sip of her drink. "She had a couple of extra tickets too, so we basically gambled for them." She recalled how all the girls played tag with their Pokemon, and Linoone and Emolga ended up winning, giving her and Ochako the tickets.

"The other girls are here too. They just can't visit the preview." Ochako continued. Denki stood up and aggressively dusted his clothes before turning to them. "Oh, just like Sero and Sato. I know a couple of our other classmates are here too, but they're the ones I know came for sure."

Melissa smiled and clapped her hands. "Why don't I show you all the sites when the Expo opens up? I'd be more than happy!" She said. However, before they could respond, they heard a loud explosion.

Turning their heads to the source of the sound, they saw an arena with smoke coming out of it. Melissa assured them that it was safe, but they opted to check it out anyway and see what the deal was.

It turns out, it was some kind of contest. The contestants would be able to use up to three Pokemon to take out 15 robots on a small mountain. They'd then each be graded based on their clear time. As they arrived, it looked like someone had just wrapped up.

"And with a time of 12 seconds, he's in 1st place!" The commentator said as the smoke cleared, revealing another one of their classmates. "Kacchan?!" Izuku cried out, spotting the blonde boy atop the mountain. He stood there with his Typhlosion, Torracat, and Primeape.

Over by the entrance to the playing field was Eijiro Kirishima, who had spotted Izuku and the others as Katsuki was coming down. "Hey, isn't that Midoriya in the stands?" He said, instantly catching the aggressive boy's attention.

Once he spotted his "childhood friend", he jumped up on the railings and grabbed Izuku by the shirt. "What the hell are you doing here, Deku?!" He shouted. Luckily, Eevee managed to push him off with a kick before Tenya ran in and stood between the two. "Bakugo, calm yourself!"

He continued yelling as Melissa watched in confusion. "Why is that boy so angry?" She asked. "That's just who he is," Kyoka replied.

Momo ran up to the railings and called out to Eijiro. "Hey, Kirishima! You guys were invited to I-Expo too?" She called out. The red-haired boy looked up and was pleasantly surprised to find his other classmates there too. "Yeah! Bakugo was invited since he won the Sports Festival. I just tagged along." He ran up the stairs and into the stands and gave Ochako and Kyoka a high-five.

"So, you guys gonna do this Villain Course or not?" He asked, much to Katsuki's dismay. "You better not! There's no way you're beating my score!"

"Y-Yeah, you're probably right!" Izuku said, his Pokemon looking at him in disappointment. Ochako placed her hand on her chin and nodded. "Well, there's only one way to know for sure."

"Y-Yeah, you're probably right!" Izuku repeated, not realizing what he just signed himself up to. Katsuki let out a groan and jumped over the railings and into the stands. "Just get your stupid attempt over with. Then get out of here!"

Riolu and Combusken pulled Katsuki away from their trainer again as he prepared himself. Well, no reason to turn down this opportunity now. He looked at his Pokemon and nodded confidently.

"We've got a last-minute contestant here with us folks! Hope you all are ready!" The commentator hyped up the crowd as Izuku and his Pokemon got ready. "Okay, let's do this, guys!" He said as they charged up One for All.

"Ready?" The commentator held up her arm.

"Full Cowling!"

"Go!"

Instantly, all three Pokemon dashed forward. "Double Kick!" Using the added five percent, Combusken ran up and crushed two robots beside each other with his legs. "Now, go for Ember!" The Pokemon whipped his head around and shot out a barrage of flames, taking out another two.

Next, Eevee ran up higher. "Sappy Seed!" The shiny slammed her feet on the ground causing a large stalk to emerge from under three robots, taking them out.

Finally, using Force Palm on the ground to boost himself up, Riolu used Vacuum Wave to take down two robots. "Okay, finish this! Smash!" His Partner Pokemon smiled as he ran forward. "Bullet Punch!" With blinding speed, Riolu released the attack, destroying the final robot in the blink of an eye.

"Time!" The commentator yelled. "With 14 seconds, we have a new challenger in 2nd place!"

Melissa watched in awe as Izuku congratulated those three Pokemon. That speed… and that overwhelming power… and the way that his Pokemon moved… "It's just like Uncle Might's…" She said to herself.

"That was amazing, Deku!" Ochako cheered as Izuku returned his Pokemon and rejoined the rest of his classmates in the stands. Tenya smiled and nodded. "You're getting good at controlling your powers. I'm impressed." He said.

Katsuki was ready to let Izuku have it when the commentator let out a loud gasp. "And with only 9 seconds, we have a new first-place winner!" They all looked down and watched in shock at the somehow burning AND freezing mountain as Shoto's Ninetales, Froslass, and Charmeleon rejoined him at the bottom.

"Todoroki?!" Everyone shouted. Melissa turned to them and smiled. "Another one from UA, I assume? Your class is amazing!" She was incredibly excited. From what she had seen, these trainers were very powerful and would make great Heroes.

Katsuki jumped over the railings and grabbed Katsuki by the shirt. "You can't just show up outta nowhere and show me up!" He yelled before Torracat and Primeape tugged on his shirt, telling him to calm down a little.

"Bakugo. Oh, and the others are here too." Shoto said as he returned his Pokemon to their Pokeballs, completely ignoring that boy. "The hell are you even doin' here anyway?" Katsuki asked. "My father was invited, but he was busy. I'm here on his behalf."

"U-Um… excuse me…" The commentator raised her hand from behind them and laughed nervously. "The next contestant is wait-"

"Shut up! I'm going next!" Katsuki yelled, scaring the poor woman. Tenya, the next contestant she mentioned, ran up to the two and began scolding Katsuki. "Stop! If you keep this up, people might think UA is filled with degenerates!"

Izuku and Eijiro both saw this and felt the need to get involved. "Ah, shit." The red-haired boy said as he and Izuku hopped over the railings to try and break them up.

Melissa let out a small laugh as she watched the chaos unfold. "Wow, it looks like you guys have a lot of fun at your school." She said. Momo thought for a moment and let out a sigh. "Well… it's never boring. I can say that much."

Meanwhile, back with All Might and David, Lucario had put himself into some kind of device that let the scientist scan him. He was completely stunned by what his screens were showing him. As Lucario stepped out of the chamber, the man slammed his hands on the desk in frustration.

"I don't get it, Toshi… your… Pokemon are getting weaker. Their infinity energy levels have dropped significantly." David said. "What in the world happened?!"

All Might coughed as he returned Lucario to his Pokeball. "I guess when you do this for a long time, things like this happen…" He said, knowing full and well that he couldn't tell the truth. He wanted to, but doing so would get David and Melissa caught up in the battle against All for One, and that's the last thing the Hero wanted.

"At this rate, your Pokemon won't even be able to participate in normal battles. The Symbol of Peace will disappear… the only reason why we've been able to keep our crime rates so low is because of your presence."

All Might was silent for a moment, but after a while, he smiled and pat his friend on the shoulder. "There's no need to be so pessimistic, Dave. The world is full of great Heroes, trainers, and Pokemon. Not to mention the people like you who support them. Plus, I can still be All Might for a few hours a day. It's not like I'm dead, ye-"

"Come on." David cut the man off. "What if some kind of threat appears and you're not capable of saving everyone again?" He looked down and clenched his fist, trying desperately to figure out why all of this was happening.

"Listen…" All Might said. "Understand that I have no intention of stepping down." And rightfully so. Though he couldn't say, there was still hope. He couldn't step down yet because he had another job. There was still a future for One for All and the Symbol of Peace. Once he's gone, a new generation will rise and take his place.

As the sun began to set, most of the people around began heading back to their hotel rooms. Meanwhile, Denki and Minoru were completely exhausted. "This place isn't even open to the public… if we're this dead now, how the hell are we gonna make it when the expo opens?" Minoru asked.

Denki ruffled his hair in frustration and let out a groan. "Shut up, man! I don't wanna think about it!"

"Hey! How was your shift?" Suddenly, Kyoka arrived riding atop her Noivern. "Here, take these." She reached down and handed them a pair of tickets, much to their confusion. "W-What's this?" Denki asked.

"Tickets to the party later. Melissa felt bad for you two and thought you needed a break." She said with a small laugh.

Denki and Minoru were just about ready to break down, but just before they could even thank Kyoka for handing them the tickets, Tenya arrived with his Skarmory flying above him. "There's going to be some Pro Heroes there too, so it's imperative that we leave a good impression on them as representatives of UA. Everyone's already gone back to their rooms to change, but we all agreed to go together as a group. I'll message you the details later."

Meanwhile, as Izuku was ready to head to his room to get dressed, Melissa asked if she could show him something, promising to be quick. She led him to her school where her personal lab was. This was one of the few places where Pokemon were not allowed to freely roam, so Izuku and Melissa had to return all of them to their Pokeballs.

"Sorry, I didn't really get the chance to clean up here." She said as she entered the code into the keypad. The door slid open and revealed a somewhat clean room. There wasn't trash laying around the floor, but the table at the center of the room was certainly cluttered. Moreover though, what was really impressive was all the technology. This wasn't simple stuff. It was cutting-edge tech that even UA struggled to get access to for their students.

"Wow, this looks so professional. It must be really cool being to study in a place like this." Izuku said as he took a seat. He looked around the room and was astounded to see the whole line of trophies that filled up the top of her shelf. "Look at all those awards. You must be really smart to have gotten into a place like this."

Melissa laughed and shook her head as she opened the closet and began rummaging through a box. "Oh, I wouldn't say that. Just a few months ago, my grades were pretty bad. I only started doing well when I realized I needed to work hard if I wanted to be a Hero."

"You mean like a Pro?" The statement did confuse Izuku a little. People who attended I-Academy didn't normally do so to become Pros, but rather to learn how to make advancements in technology.

Again, Melissa laughed as she set the box back in the closet and pulled another one out. "Oh, no. I gave up on that dream a while ago. I don't think I'm cut out for that." She said. "I don't really wanna go into the details, but I've got a disease that makes my bones pretty fragile. Like, I can walk around and stuff, but I can't exactly be regularly putting myself in dangerous situations, y'know?" Finally, she found what she was looking for and pulled out a small container.

"I'm sorry, that must be hard for you…" Izuku said. While he didn't have a condition like hers, he knew what it was like to have that dream taken away from you… just a few months ago, he might have found himself in a position not too different from the one she was in now… but Melissa didn't seem to feel that way.

"Don't worry about that. It sucked at first, but whether I had that condition or not, I don't think I'd become a Pro either way." She said as she closed the closet and set the small box down on the table. "See, I've always wanted to be like my dad. Papa didn't want to be a Pro. Instead, he chose to sit back and support people like Uncle Might with science. He's still fighting for peace, just not in the same way."

Izuku looked at the pictures of Melissa and her father set up throughout the room and smiled. "I see. That's a pretty admirable goal if you ask me." Melissa nodded and sat down. "I think so too. That's how I want to help save people."

She opened the container, revealing a red armband with a small Bastiodon emblem on the front. "This is something I made after observing Uncle Might's Lucario. Mind sending out Riolu for me? It's fine since we're in the lab."

Izuku did as told and sent out his partner Pokemon. Melissa bent down and strapped the band around his arm. "Okay, Riolu. Try pressing that Bastiodon button." Riolu inspected the band for a quick succession before holding his hand down on the button. Suddenly, the red band expanded and extended, wrapping around his entire right arm and hand.

"Is that a… glove?" Izuku asked. "I call it the Bastiodon Gauntlet," Melissa said. "When I was watching you fight a while ago, I noticed that it looked like your Riolu was holding back on purpose. I thought that maybe Riolu couldn't handle its full power."

"You figured us out," Izuku said. There was no reason to hide it from her. Izuku knew that if she pressed further, she'd accept it if he didn't want to continue talking about it. Plus, if this gauntlet did what it thought he did, it would be huge in battles.

Riolu inspected the glove and threw a punch in the air, getting a good feel for it. It was surprisingly light, meaning it was still easy to throw punches even with the added weight. "It can withstand triple the power of Uncle Might's Lucario's attacks. You should be able to hit a bit harder using it. You can go ahead and take it."

"Take it?!" Izuku asked loudly, startling Melissa and Riolu. "Sorry, sorry. We can't do that… it's important to you." The girl shook her head and held Riolu's arm to ensure that it was strapped on tight. "That's why I want you guys to take it. Just promise me that you'll put it to good use and be Heroes someday."

Izuku smiled and nodded before turning to Riolu. The Pokemon looked up at his trainer and pumped his fist. "We promise." The green-haired boy said.

Later that night, Izuku rushed into the building in a hurry. There, he found the entire group save for Katsuki and Eijiro. "Sorry, I'm late!" He said. The boy wore a dark-red suit with a yellow undershirt. It wasn't traditional, but it fit him.

Everyone else had gotten into their outfits as well, save for Minoru and Denki who simply wore their uniforms from work. It was unusual seeing everybody in such formal outfits. Izuku was so used to either seeing them in their Hero outfits or school uniforms to the point that it was pretty jarring seeing them now.

Before entering the party downstairs, the group decided to wait for Katsuki and Eijiro by the entrance.

Meanwhile, the party itself was fairly small. All Pro Heroes at the expo were invited, along with a few other scientists and sponsors. It looked incredibly fancy, more so than most parties All Might had attended. They had full-on chefs, expensive alcohol, everything you could imagine.

"Now, I wonder if we can get All Might up here?" The host said, much to the Hero's surprise. "Come on, don't be shy. Let's give him a round of applause everyone."

"Really, Dave?" All Might whispered. Dave pat him on the back and pushed him forward. "Hey, this was bound to happen." The Hero laughed nervously as he stepped forward. "You owe me one."

He set his drink down on the table and stepped on stage. "It's a pleasure to be here." He said. "Formal speeches aren't really my-"

Suddenly, a loud beep could be heard coming from the speakers. The monitor behind him turned red and the word "Emergency!" Flashed on screen. Then, a woman's voice could be heard not just inside the party, but throughout the entire island.

"This is an announcement from the I-Island security system. We have received reports that an explosive device has been discovered within the expo. I-Island will now enter High-Security Mode. Your safety is our number one priority."

With that, the Claydol and Sigilyph security bots were deployed throughout the island.

"All guests are required to return to their lodgings. Anybody remaining on the streets within 30 minutes will be in violation of the law. As a precautionary measure, the buildings will be shut off." Metal sheets began lowering, trapping everybody inside the buildings, including the one where Izuku and the others were.

The group of students found themselves trapped. They couldn't get any signal and the elevators had shut down. Melissa placed her hand on her chin as she paced back and forth. "Why did the system go on high alert? That's not the protocol when explosives are discovered."

Izuku nodded and turned to everyone. "Okay, let's go to the party. All Might's there and he's our best bet at figuring this out. Melissa, is there a way to get down there without the elevators?"

Melissa looked around for something and smiled when she found it. "We can take the emergency stairs over there!" She pointed to the metal door and the group approached. "Got it. It's time to move."

Suddenly, downstairs at the party, masked men and their Pokemon entered the party room. There was a big variety of them: Perrserkers, Crawdaunts, Crobats. All powerful Pokemon that seemed ready to strike.

Then, a man in a white suit entered the room. Just like the others, he wore a mask. He also had a Duraludon closely following behind him. Based on how the others stood around and guarded him, this man appeared to be their leader.

"In case you hadn't heard, the security system is under our control now. I know we've got a lot of Heroes here, but if you decide to make a scene." He pointed to the monitors which showed civilians on the streets surrounded by the security bots. "I'll make sure you'll regret it. So I'd play nice because I'm taking everyone on this island hostage."

He snapped his fingers and before anybody could send their Pokemon out, blue vines of energy stretched out from the ground and restrained everybody there, including All Might. David recognized those as the emergency restraining devices, fashioned after different Grass moves that were traditionally used to apprehend Villains.

"We've gottem, Wolfram." One man said, referring to the boss.

All Might tried to break free, but Duraludon roared and slammed its foot into the ground, threatening him to stop. "Don't move or I'll kill everyone in this room," Wolfram said. All Might tried to stand, but Wolfram kicked the Hero to the floor and scoffed. "If you stay quiet, there's no need for anybody to get hurt. We plan to release you safely once everything is said and done."

"What are you after?!" One Hero asked, who was then promptly kicked by Duraludon to the ground. "You don't know how to listen, do you? Stay quiet." He looked around the room before finding Sam and grabbing him by the shirt.

"Hey, Tubby. You a scientist here?"

"Y-Yes, I am…"

"Okay, take this one up."

"Stop!"

Wolfram turned and spotted the restrained David on the floor and smiled. "Well, if it isn't the famous David Shield." The researcher sat up and looked the Villain in the eye. "That man is my assistant. What do you plan on doing with him?"

The Villain said nothing and crossed his arms. "Bring him too. You wouldn't want to hear a pretty little blonde girl's scream, would you?"

Eventually, David gave in and reluctantly agreed to go with them. Two men and their Pokemon escorted the two out of the room as All Might anxiously waited on the stage, still restrained. He needed to break out of the restraints and get the system back online, but there wasn't anything he could do right now. Even if he managed to break free and subdue the Villains there, he'd be risking the lives of everybody outside.

Even still, he was running out of time. He had been straining himself the entire day and he needed to maintain his Muscle Form even now. He needed to find a way… then, he saw something. A small flicker of light in his eye. It was coming from… the roof?

Above him was a glass ceiling that looked up at the next floor. There, he found Izuku flickering his flashlight at him. Once the boy confirmed that All Might had spotted him, he turned to Kyoka and Noivern and nodded.

Having spotted Noivern, All Might knew what they were planning. He'd be able to softly whisper and send a message to them through Noivern who could hear him. Noivern then would be able to relay the message back to Kyoka who could inform Izuku of what was happening.

"I'll keep it simple. These Villains have taken everyone on this island hostage! That includes all the Heroes. It's dangerous here. Get out of here and find help!"

After hearing the message, Noivern turned to Kyoka and relayed the message. Hearing what he had to say, Kyoka began sweating nervously. "This is bad, Midoriya."

Just a few minutes later, they rejoined the group by the emergency stairs. "We've received All Might's orders loud and clear," Tenya said. "He's our teacher. I suggest we follow his instructions and get out of here."

"I'm afraid I have to agree with Iida on this one," Momo said. "We're still students. We can't fight these Villains without our Hero Licenses."

"Why don't we get out of here and get help outside?" Denki asked. Melissa shook her head as she racked her head for a plan. "It's not gonna be easy. The security system here is on part with Tartarus Prison."

Kyoka clenched her fist and stood up. Don't you guys think we should at least try and stop them?"

"They've got All Might trapped!" Minoru shouted. "How are we supposed to do anything! There's no way we can stop them ourselves if the Pros can't!"

Shoto stood up and pulled out Ninetales' Pokeball. He looked at it and nodded before turning to the rest of the group. "Aren't we trying to be Pro Heroes ourselves?" He asked.

"W-Well, yes, but we can't do anything. You know that." Momo replied, trying to get him to see some sense, but it wasn't working. "Does that mean it's right to not do anything at all?"

They all stood there silently, thinking about what their next move should be. Logically, they needed to get out of there. Minoru was right. If the Villains managed to get even All Might, how were they supposed to do anything… yet, that felt wrong.

"I wanna help," Izuku said. Everyone gasped and looked at him. "R-Really, Deku? Are you sure?" Ochako asked. The boy nodded and pulled out his Pokeballs. "I want to save them."

"What the hell?! Did you learn nothing from the USJ, Midoriya?!" Minoru shouted, but Izuku simply shook his head. "This is different! We don't actually have to fight them! We just need to find a way to free All Might and the others."

"That's easy to say, but you know there's a good chance we're gonna end up in a fight with the bad guys one way or another," Denki said, trying to calm Izuku down, but the boy was determined. "I know, but I still wanna try! We can figure out what our best move is and keep these criminals from winning. There has to be something we can do!"

Melissa nodded and stepped forward. "I know where the security system is." She said. "It's at the top of this tower. If the criminals have managed to take over it, then the security locks and authentication system have probably been disabled. That means we should be able to reboot the system ourselves. We just need to avoid the Villains until we reach the top floor."

Izuku's eyes widened in shock at the revelation. "So it is possible…" He said. "But how do we avoid the Villains?" Kyoka asked.

"The security system hasn't found us yet so that probably means the Villains don't know how it works very well."

"Not a bad idea. What do you think?" Denki turned to the rest of the group and crossed his arms. "Let's do it!" Kyoka excitedly said.

Momo placed her hand on her chin and let out a sigh. "Most of the Villains are probably gathered on the top floor…"

"If we're fast, we won't have to fight them. If we get the security system back, All Might and the others can jump right into the action. All we need to do is get in and get out." Izuku replied.

Ochako nodded and pumped her fists. "Okay! Let's do it! If there's something we can actually try, then I wanna go for it!"

"I'll go too!"

"Count me in!"

Kyoka and Shoto stepped forward and smiled. Tenya let out a sigh and nodded. "As soon as things get too far, I'm dragging us all to safety. If you can agree to that, I'll help out." Izuku gave the class rep a big smile and a thumbs up. "Of course!"

"In that case, I'm in too," Momo said, stepping forward. The only one remaining was Minoru who, after a few moments, caved in and began crying. "Fine! I'll go!"

Melissa stood up and nodded. "I'm coming too." She said.

"No, it's not safe! Without a trained Pokemon, it's too dangerous." Izuku replied.

"I don't suppose any of you know how to reboot the island's security system, do you?" She asked, to no response. "I've been studying this tech my whole life. I'll be useful! I want to help!" Izuku looked at her and thought for a moment before nodding. "Yeah, alright. Let's save everyone!"

The climb wasn't going to be easy. Without access to the elevators, they'd have to climb up the tower using the emergency stairs. To make matters worse, they'd have to climb up 200 floors. It was going to be exhausting, so they opted to keep their Pokemon in their Pokeballs to conserve their energy. When the time came, they'd need their Pokemon to be at their full power.

Even when Melissa was starting to get tired and a few of the students offered to send out their Pokemon to carry her, she insisted on keeping them inside their Pokeballs to keep them energized.

At around the 80th floor, they found their route blocked. The Villains had activated a security protocol that stopped them from proceeding forward. "We'll break through it," Shoto said between his breaths as he pulled out Ninetales' Pokeball, only to be stopped by Melissa. "N-No! If we do that, the security system'll probably alert them."

They looked around for some kind of way to get around the barrier when Minoru spotted the door leading out of the emergency staircase. "Why don't we just go through here." Melissa tried to stop him, but she was too late. He reached for the lever and opened the door, alerting the Villains to their location.

Those in the security room informed Wolfram of some kind of breach, and the boss sent two Villains after them. Unfortunately for the students, they had gotten access to the elevator, meaning they didn't have much time to get out of there before things got rough.

As they ran through the hallway, they went over their options. "There should be another emergency staircase just past here!" Melissa shouted. Tenya nodded and led the group forward, but gates began crashing down, blocking their path. "Shit! The gates!" Denki said as he pulled out his Pokeball. "Behind us too!" Momo shouted.

They looked around and spotted a wide door leading to another room. "Todoroki!" Tenya shouted. "I'm on it!" The boy sent out his Ninetales and instructed it to use Ice Beam, creating a wall of ice that prevented the gate between them and the door from shutting completely.

"Go, Skarmory!" The class representative sent out his Steel companion and instructed it to use Drill Peck on the metal door. Once the Pokemon had broken through, Tenya led the group into what they discovered was a large garden area. It was a huge room with a single metal path surrounded by trees, small fields of grass, and even small lakes and waterfalls.

"What is this place?!" Izuku asked as they ran through the strangely natural-looking room. "It's a plant factory! Researchers use this place to study how Pokemon interact with each other in natural areas." Melissa explained.

As they approached the end of the path, they spotted what looked like a large cylindrical pillar with a door at the center of a large flat area. That's when it hit them, that was an elevator, and they didn't like what they were seeing. "It's coming up!" Kyoka shouted. As they had expected, the Villains knew where they were. The screen above the elevator door had a number that was slowly increasing, and it was almost to their level.

"Everyone! Hide!"

The group hid behind some bushes as the elevator continued to rise. "Can we use the elevator when they're gone?" Denki asked. Melissa shook her head in response. "No, only authorized personnel can access the elevators."

Eventually, the elevator doors opened and the two Villains entered the room. With them were a Clawitzer and a Darmanitan. "You said the kids came in here, Nobu." The shorter man said. The taller man, named Nobu, let out a sigh as he scratched his head. "Why'd they have to send us, Daigo? They just had to pick a place with so many hiding spots." He said.

They hid anxiously as the Villains and their Pokemon searched the area. If they had a little more time, they would've picked a better hiding spot, but right now they were dangerously close to being found. After a few moments, they heard something that made them freeze in fear.

"Hey, we see you!" Nobu shouted. Izuku clenched Riolu's Pokeball as he began shaking. They were going to have to fight them… no matter what, they needed to get to that security system and save everyone. Right as he was ready to jump out and fight, they all heard something else.

"The hell did you say?!"

That was… Katsuki's voice? Izuku turned and saw Eijiro and Katsuki standing there, face to face with the Villains. "What are you kids doing here?" Daigo asked. The blonde boy scoffed and began approaching them. "That's what I wanna know too."

"H-Hey, just leave this to me!" Eijiro pulled Katsuki back and stepped forward. "We kinda got lost looking for this party. Could you maybe point us in the right direction?"

Nobu scoffed and pointed at the two students. "Don't lie to me or you'll regret it! Clawitzer, Water Pulse!" The Howitzer Pokemon shot out a blast of water right for Eijiro, but Shoto's Ninetales managed to intercept it with an ice wall from Ice Beam before it hit him.

"T-Todoroki?" Eijiro took a step back to process what happened as he and Katsuki sent out their Pokemon. The red-haired boy used his Druddigon, Tyrunt, and Lycanroc Midnight while Katsuki sent out Typhlosion, Thwackey, Primeape, and Torracat.

As they took a moment to breathe, they heard the wall begin to break. Shoto sent out his Charmeleon and Ninetales as he searched for another way out. Eventually, he spotted a ladder at the back that led to the floor above them. "Get to the ladder over there and find a way to the security room! We can keep them busy here!"

"N-No, wait! We can help you!" Momo pulled out her Pokeball and got ready to send out Aegislash, but Shoto insisted otherwise. "I'll be right behind you after we finish dealing with these guys!" It took a few moments, but the group eventually agreed and rushed to the next floor.

They all got ready as the Villains started breaking through the ice wall. "You guys are here too?" Eijiro asked. "What the heck's going on, Todoroki?"

"You didn't hear the broadcast alert? Villains have taken over the building."

Before either of them could ask any questions, Darmanitan released a Fire Punch that managed to shatter the wall, destroying the barrier that separated them from the students. "So you wanna pick a fight?" Daigo asked. "Well then, let's see how tough you really are!"

"Ninetales, Froslass! Use Ice Beam!"

"Darmanitan, go for Flare Blitz!"

The two Ice-Types shot out beams of ice at the Blazing Pokemon, but the sheer heat from his attack was too powerful and they all just managed to avoid the attack as the Pokemon charged at them.

Right as Darmanitan's attack ended though, Katsuki's Primeape and Thwackey jumped forward and struck it from behind with a Mega Punch and Double Hit "Nice one!" Katsuki shouted, but it seemed to do little to actually stop Darmanitan's rampage.

Despite the powerful hits, Darmanitan simply turned around and charged for them, but Lycanroc managed to jump in and push them out of the way. Eijiro instructed it to go for Counter, but it was too late as Darmanitan managed to hit him with a Hammer Arm, sending the Rock-Type flying and knocking him out. "Lycanroc!"

Druddigon tried to go in for a powerful Dragon Claw, but Clawitzer simply jumped into the air and shot out an Ice Beam that did massive damage. Tyrunt jumped up to try and catch the Water-Type with a Crunch, but Clawitzer managed to move fast and catch the Pokemon with its claw before launching him right into Druddigon, quickly knocking the two Pokemon out.

"Shit! Sorry, guys! I'm out!" Eijiro returned his three Pokemon to their Pokeballs. It was definitely a worrying sign of how powerful these Villains were if they managed to knock out Eijiro's Pokemon, arguably some of the strongest in their class, with only one attack each.

The two remaining boys instructed Charmeleon, Ninetales, Torracat, and Typhlosion to go for Flamethrower all on Clawitzer, but a single Water Pulse from the Pokemon collided with their attacks and managed to dissipate it.

"You boys know how to fight, don't you? Where'd you come from?" Nobu asked. Katsuki scoffed as Typhlosion went for a Flame Wheel on Darmanitan. The attack hit, and the boy's partner Pokemon managed to get out of there before Darmanitan could go for an attack. "Like we'd tell a bunch of Villains like you."

"Why would we tell you anything?" Shoto's Froslass appeared behind Clawitzer and shot out a Shadow Ball, catching the Pokemon off-guard.

They'd need to be smart about this if they were going to win. It was clear that in terms of sheer power, these two Villains were way stronger, but they outnumbered them and had the training to win. It wasn't going to be easy, but it was possible.

"Hey, 80th floor. You're letting the kids get away." One man said through the communication device the Villains were wearing. "We're workin' on it!" Daigo said as Katsuki's Primeape hit Darmanitan with another Cross Chop.

They decided to split their efforts between the two Villains. As it stood, there was no way they were going to win if they took them on together. Katsuki went for Daigo's Darmanitan as while the Blazing Pokemon was powerful, it wasn't very fast. With his Pokemon's speed, he stood a chance.

Darmanitan went for Hammer Arms and Fire Punches, but Katsuki's Pokemon always managed to bait an attack before striking and getting out of there. Despite what his ego might tell you, Katsuki wasn't afraid of using hit-and-run tactics when it came to Pokemon battles.

Eventually, they managed to get him into a prime position to launch a powerful attack. Darmanitan tried for another Hammer Arm, but Torracat managed to jump out of the way and strike with a Fire Fang once he had the chance. Darmanitan eventually managed to get Torracat off its arm and slammed the Pokemon into the ground knocking it out. Thwackey and Primeape went in for a Wood Hammer and Cross Chop. Unfortunately, Darmanitan still managed to counter with a Hammer Arm and taking out both Pokemon, but the attack left him vulnerable and allowed Typhlosion to use Lava Plume, sending the Darmanitan flying into the wall.

Meanwhile, Shoto opted to take on Nobu's Clawitzer. While his cannon shots were powerful, Shoto's Pokemon could counter them with ranged attacks of their own. They were quite as powerful, but the mere fact that he could still fight at a distance at all gave them a better chance.

Ninetales went for Blizzard as Charmeleon and Froslass ran to the side to try and strike Clawitzer at different angles. Despite the power they had demonstrated before, Shoto and Ninetales were no match for Nobu's Clawitzer's cannon strikes.

Even when they tried to hit it from all sides with Shadow Ball, Moonblast, and Flamethrower, Clawitzer shot out a Muddy Water that caught all of the attacks while also hitting Charmeleon and Froslass, knocking them both out. "This Clawitzer has to have Mega Launcher as an ability. There's no way we're gonna be able to take it out without getting close." Shoto said

"We can't get close if he keeps usin' those damn ranged attacks." Katsuki took a step back and got ready to help Shoto, but they heard a sound coming from the wall. Somehow, Darmanitan was still ready to fight, but Katsuki wasn't going to let that slide.

"You really don't know when to give up, do you?" The boy raised his arm and his bracelet began glowing with yellow energy. The energy then connected to Typhlosion as they got ready to strike. "It's time to end this!"

"Darmanitan, go for Flare Blitz!" Daigo shouted as the Pokemon charged forward.

"Inferno Overdrive!"

Typhlosion threw a huge Z-Charged stream of flames right at Darmanitan. Despite being resisted, the attack was too powerful and the Blazing Pokemon ended up fainting. "Darmanitan!"

"Damn you!" Nobu shouted as Clawitzer went for a Water Pulse. Typhlosion just barely avoided the attack as Clawitzer charged at them. It opened its claw to launch another attack, but they were all caught off-guard when Ninetales suddenly ran forward and shot a powerful Inferno right into the launcher, knocking out Clawitzer.

Ninetales quickly used Ice Beam on the two Villains before they could react, trapping them in ice and ensuring their victory.

Once all was said and done, the two students and their Pokemon regrouped with Eijiro who was attending to his Druddigon with a Hyper Potion. "Glad I always keep one of these on me." He said as he sprayed it on the spot where Clawitzer had hit him. Druddgion smiled and stood up as they got ready to head out. He was still injured, but he was still determined to fight.

However, the Claydol and Sigilyph bots suddenly began entering the room from the elevator. There were dozens of them and they blocked off all of the group's exits. "Looks like they've gotten serious," Shoto said as the group prepared to battle once more.

Meanwhile, Riolu, Combusken, and Eevee had managed to break through another door, clearing the way for Izuku's group to move forward. As they ran through the hallway though, something seemed off. "We've been pretty lucky!" Denki said. "Our path's been pretty clear since we've passed the hundredth floor!"

"You think we lost them?" Ochako asked.

"I doubt it. They're likely waiting for us somewhere." Momo said, and she was right. Just as they approached another door, they arrived at what seemed like a storage room. Inside were several security bots waiting for them. Unfortunately, this was their only path. The emergency stairs were blocked, so the staircase through this room was their only shot at proceeding.

"It looks like they're actually trying to capture us now," Tenya said as the group waited outside the door. "Then let's show them what we can do!" Momo sent out her Aegislash and the group got ready.

Denki smiled and pulled out his own Pokemon. "Alright! Let's do it!" Melissa opened the door and the blonde boy immediately sent out Electivire, Luxray, and Pikachu. The bots noticed them, but it was too late. "Now, Yaoyorozu!" He shouted.

"Aegislash, use King's Shield!" The Sword Pokemon created a barrier between the Electric-Types and students, allowing them to go all out. "Okay, guys! Let's show them what we can do!"

The three Pokemon began charging electricity as the robots approached. "Show them our Triple Threat Discharge!" The Pokemon released huge waves of electricity throughout the room, completely destroying a good amount of robots.

"Now's our chance!" Ochako shouted as she sent out her Pokemon, sending out Clefable, Espurr, Emolga, and Whimsicott. Kyoka and Minoru did the same, with the former sending out Linoone, Noivern, and Chimecho while the latter used Bonsly, Trubbish, and Sableye.

All the Pokemon used ranged attacks, with Moonblast, Psyshock, Boomburst, and more, and while it did destroy a lot of the robots, it didn't seem to be enough. Eventually, they got too close for the long-ranged attacks to be effective, so Izuku and Tenya stepped in.

"Looks like it's our turn, Midoriya!" The class rep shouted as he sent out Skarmory, Lycanroc Midday, and Excadrill. "Let's go!" The green-haired boy nodded and called on Riolu, Combusken, and Eevee to help out. Riolu was even still wearing the Bastiodon Gauntlet Melissa had given them.

"Okay, let's try 30%…" Izuku whispered to Riolu. The Pokemon nodded and there four of them began charging One for All. "Full Cowling!" The boy said as his Pokemon rushed forward. Combusken and Eevee started off with a 5% Double Kick and Veevee Volley, taking out some of the robots, but Riolu came in after with a powerful 30% Force Palm. Just like Melissa had said, they didn't feel any pain! The sheer impact of the attack sent multiple robots flying.

Skarmory, Excadrill, and Lycanroc came in after and took out the remaining robots with their blinding speed. Once the coast was clear, they headed to the doorway.

"The gauntlet worked perfectly, Melissa! Thanks!" Izuku said. "It's a good thing you brought it!" She replied. The boy laughed and scratched his head as he and his Pokemon ran forward. "We didn't know how to take it off…"

As they reached the 138th floor, they found themselves in a hallway surrounded by strange machines. According to Melissa, the machines were the island's security servers. Unfortunately, the door at the end opened, revealing dozens of robots.

They got ready to fight, but Melissa informed them that they couldn't damage the servers. If they did, there was a good chance they wouldn't be able to reboot the system.

"Damn…" Tenya said as the robots approached. "Fine! Midoriya, Uraraka, take Melissa and find another route to the top! We'll hold them off here!" He said. The three nodded and headed off. They knew that there was a good chance they wouldn't be able to defeat the robots, but they needed to just stall them long enough to let Melissa and the others escape.

"Drill Peck, Accelerock, Metal Claw!" Tenya instructed his Pokemon to rush in and begin attacking the robots. Momo sent out her other Pokemon, Gallade, and Braixen, and along with Aegislash, they provided range cover for the others to get up close with Shadow Ball, Psyshock, and Flamethrower.

Denki's Pokemon opted for shorter-range attacks as well. Electivire went for Thunder Punch, Luxray went for Thunder Fang, and Pikachu attacked with Iron Tail. It wasn't as effective as their normal means of attack, but it was their best bet right now. Kyoka's Pokemon joined him as well with Noivern's Dragon Claw and Linoone's Night Slash.

Her Chimecho opted to help from a distance with Psyshock along with Minoru's Pokemon. Bonsly went for Ancient Power, Sableye Dark Pulse, and Trubbish attacked with Sludge Bomb.

However, despite their efforts, the robots were simply too many and they managed to capture the group.

As Izuku and the others were running through the hallways, they heard a small explosion. He turned back for a moment, but Ochako grabbed onto his wrist and encouraged him to continue going. "Don't stop! If we don't make it, then Iida and the others would have done that for nothing!"

Izuku turned to his Pokemon and they all nodded at each other before continuing forward. "Everybody… please be safe!"

Eventually, the group arrived in an outdoor area. At the center was a gigantic pillar with several fans to the side. "What is this?" Ochako asked.

"This is the wind power generator," Melissa answered.

"What are we doing here?"

"There are more robots in the tower. They're probably just waiting there for a chance to ambush us." She pointed to the top and they could just barely make out a platform with a door. "There's an emergency exit up there that we can enter."

The problem? It was at least 60 stories tall, and there were no emergency stairs or anything… "But we have Ochako!" Melissa said. "You have Pokemon that can use Psychic, right? You can use Psychic on us to take us to the top."

The girl nodded and sent out her Clefable. "Okay, let's do it."

Izuku returned his Pokemon to their Pokeballs and Melissa grabbed on to him. "Clefable, use Psychic!" Ochako instructed. The Pokemon's eyes began glowing with a blue light as Izuku and Melissa were slowly lifted up into the air. Because of the distance they needed to travel, Clefable needed to take this slow to ensure that she'd have enough energy to help them reach the top.

However, just as they reached the halfway mark, a door opened and out came more security bots. "Uraraka!" Izuku shouted.

"Make Clefable use Psychic on you two and get out of there!" Melissa said.

"We can't! If we do that, you might not be able to make it!" Ochako sent out Espurr, Whimsicott, and Emolga and they all got ready to fight. "Protect Clefable at all costs! We have to get them to the top!"

"Just a little more…" Izuku said. They were getting close. Just a little longer…

And just as the robots were about to strike, a stream of flames hit the robots, sending a small amount of them flying. "Kacchan?!" Izuku shouted as Katsuki and Typhlosion arrived at the scene.

"Use Blizzard!" Suddenly, Shoto and Ninetales ran out and released a powerful Ice attack that trapped the robots. "Dragon Claw!" Eijiro's Druddigon then ran in and struck the security bots with powerful strikes, destroying them in an instant.

"Good work, Uraraka! We'll cover for you and Clefable!" Shoto said as Ninetales released a powerful Moonblast. "Who the hell made you boss?" Katsuki yelled as Typhlosion rammed into a group of robots with Flame Wheel, causing Eijiro to laugh. "Aw, c'mon man! You make a good team!" He said as Druddigon went for an Iron Head.

"Emolga, Whimsicott, Espurr! Help them out!" Ochako shouted. The three Pokemon nodded and rushed into battle, releasing Thunderbolts, Energy Balls, and Psyshocks. Their attacks weren't quite as strong, but they provided good backup.

"Thanks, guys!" Izuku said as they were approached the emergency exit. Unfortunately, it was locked by the security system, but there was an easy fix for that. Once Clefable had let them off by the platform, the boy sent out Riolu and the two began charging up One for All.

"Smash!" Izuku shouted as Riolu slammed his palm into the door, creating a small explosion and completely destroying the metal barrier standing between them and the tower.

The two ran in and let out a sigh of relief. "We made it… are you okay, Deku?" Melissa asked. Izuku nodded and smiled. "I'm fine… how about you?" He asked. She nodded and stretched her arms. "I'm alright. Now, we can head for-"

"Look out!"

Before Melissa could finish her sentence, Izuku pushed her out of the way, narrowly avoiding an X-Scissor from a Scizor. Behind the Pokemon was a man with pink hair and the same outfit as the other Villains.

"You shouldn't have come here!" The man said as Scizor went for a Metal Claw. Luckily, Riolu had managed to catch the attack in time with a Force Palm. "Tell me what you criminals are after!" Izuku yelled.

"You chose the wrong time to play Hero, kid!" Scizor jumped out of the way of Riolu's attack and grabbed onto him before throwing him out of the emergency exit and nearly off of the platform. Izuku had to run forward and grab onto his Pokemon to prevent him from falling to his death.

"Go for a Metal Claw!" The man instructed. Scizor nodded and prepared to strike, but it was suddenly hit by a Psybeam, interrupting the attack. "The hell?" The man turned and saw Melissa and her Spoink ready to battle. "Stop it!" She shouted as Spoink tried to go for a Zen Headbutt, but the Scizor simply moved to the side and hit him with a powerful X-Scissor.

"Spoink!" Melissa shouted as she rushed to Spoink's side. "Little girls like you shouldn't- ack!" Before the man could finish his sentence, Riolu hit him with a quick Bullet Punch before striking Scizor with a powerful Force Palm, knocking them both out.

Izuku rushed to Melissa and Spoink and helped the two of them up. "Are you guys okay?!" He asked. The girl smiled and nodded as she pointed to her Pokemon who was bouncing happily. "We're fine. That attack didn't do much." She said.

The boy frowned as he pulled out a small potion to spray on Spoink. "I'm sorry, we couldn't protect you." He said as Riolu jumped up on his shoulder. Melissa smiled and punched him lightly on the shoulder.

"I think you mean thank you?" Melissa asked. Izuku looked up at her and realized what she had meant. He looked down on Spoink who continued bouncing happily. "Right." He said as he sent out Combusken and Eevee. They didn't have time to stop at all.

As they rushed to the top, they were stopped from time to time by more grunts. As they approached the final floor, Izuku's Pokemon had taken out several others. At one point, they were attacked by a Nidoking and Nidoqueen using Sludge Wave. Luckily, Eevee had managed to create a small barrier between them using Freezy Frost. Combusken and Riolu were then able to go around the attack and strike with Force Palm and Double Kick, knocking the two out.

Eventually, they reached the 200th room where the control room was. "Lead the way, Melissa," Izuku said as they ran through the maze of hallways. "It should be just ahead…" She said as they hid behind the corner. There, they spotted a vault door… but something was off. The door was open, but the person inside wasn't the Villains. It was… Sam and David?

"Maybe the Villains brought them here. They might need something…" Izuku said. "We have to help him!"

Inside, David typed in something before smiling. "I unlocked it! Block 1147!" He said. Sam nodded and ran up the stairs. A part of the wall opened up, revealing a large suitcase. "I got it!" He opened it up, revealing several gadgets inside.

There was a wishing piece and a Dynamax band on one side, along with a glowing pink device at the center. "Everything is here, professor!"

David slowly approached Sam and let out a sigh. "Finally, I've gotten it back." He looked to the ground angrily and clenched his fist. "All the time I put into this, and they just took away my research from me, but now it's mine."

"Just like we planned. It looks like the Villains are holding everything down too. It went perfectly." Sam said.

"Papa…" Hearing the voice from the vault door made both men's hearts sink. They turned and saw Melissa and Izuku standing there, with Spoink and all of Izuku's Pokemon having taken a battle stance. "Melissa… no…."

"What do you mean it went perfectly?" Melissa asked as she slowly walked toward him. "Don't tell me… this was all because of you. All just to steal something?" David took a step back in shame. How did she even get here?! "No, it can't be true!"

He took a deep breath and shook his head. "Yes, it's true." He said as Izuku and the Pokemon rejoined Melissa. "The professor's only trying to get back what was stolen," Sam said. "The invention in this suitcase can fill a Pokemon with an immense amount of infinity energy."

"Infinity energy?" Izuku asked. Melissa took a step back and placed her hands over her mouth in shock. "That's the same energy that allows Pokemon to Mega Evolve. I thought it was impossible to harness…"

"But we figured it out! This device allows a Pokemon to gain power even greater than a Mega." Sam said. "Yet despite that, our sponsors confiscated our research and demanded that the project be shut down. They were worried about how technology like this could affect our society! Governments from all across the world pressured your father into ending it. That's why we did this."

Melissa fell to her knees and began crying. "I… I don't understand! The papa I know would never act like a Villain! Never!"

David turned his back on them and clenched his fist. "I did it for All Might. You two may not know this, but his Pokemon are getting weaker and weaker." Those words… Izuku knew exactly what he meant. "If he uses this device, they'll all be back to normal… no, he'll be even stronger than before! The Symbol of Peace… he can get his strength back again!"

Izuku took a step back. The professor did all of this because his friend's power was fading… all because of him. He was the reason all of this happened, and David doesn't even know…

"Please! Just let me give this to All Might! I don't care what happens to me after that! There's no time to remake it!"

Melissa stepped forward and Spoink jumped in front of her to protect her. "They all risked their lives!" She said, stomping her foot on the ground. "Deku and his classmates risked their lives! Do you know how hard everybody worked to save the lives of everyone on this island?!"

David and Sam stood there for a moment, but their faces didn't convey a look of shame. No, they were… confused. "W-What do you mean? The Villains are supposed to be actors. It's all supposed to be an act."

"Of course it was a performance." From the door, Wolfram and Duraludon walked in, with another man and his Mightyena. "But the real act was pretending like we weren't actually criminals." He said.

Izuku turned and pointed to them. "You're the boss! Now!" With that, all three of his Pokemon rushed forward, but Duraludon simply retaliated with a Flash Cannon, hitting the three with a powerful blast of Steel energy that sent them crashing into the wall. "No!"

The boy rushed to his Pokemon who, at the very least, were still conscious. Still, that Flash Cannon did a concerning amount of damage, especially considering it was resisted by Riolu and Combusken.

"You'd be smart not to resist," Wolfram said as he approached the two scientists. "Sam, hand it over." He held out his hand as Sam walked down the stairs and handed the man the suitcase.

"This… this was your plan?!" David asked. "You were gonna hand it over all along?"

"You're the one who tricked me, professor!" Sam yelled. "I've been your assistant for all these years, and you let them take our work! We could've had fame and fortune, but no! I deserve more than this! I need to be recognized, otherwise, my entire career would have been a waste of time."

Wolfram smiled and took the briefcase. "Here's the payment I promised you." He said before Duraludon kicked Sam to the ground. The kick hit him right in the stomach and the man felt the urge to throw up. "W-Why?!" He asked as he winced in pain. "This isn't part of the plan!"

"It wasn't? Strange, because it was always a part of mine. Duraludon, use Breaking Swipe." Wolfram snapped his fingers and Duraludon's tail began glowing with a purple light. It tried to slam its tail on Sam, but Dave quickly ran in the way and took the hit, crashing into the wall.

Melissa watched in horror as her father fell to the ground. "P-Professor… Why?!" Sam said softly.

"Papa!" Melissa tried to run forward, but Duraludon stopped her with a Flash Cannon. Luckily, Spoink managed to push her out of the way before she got hit. Wolfram stepped on David's back as he taunted him.

"Trying to play the Hero after everything you've done? It's too late for that. No matter what your reasons were, your hands are dirty now. Whether we're actual Villains or not is irrelevant. You planned and committed a real crime here. You're no different than us. You can't go back to your normal life now." Wolfram said, laughing. He picked up the professor by the shirt. "Now, if you wanna keep your life, you'll be a good scientist and mass produce this for us." He said before punching him and knocking David out.

He then turned to Melissa and pointed at her. "This'll be all easier if I get rid of the professor's attachments!" He said as Duraludon began charging up a Flash Cannon.

"Don't you hurt her!" Izuku shouted as his three Pokemon charged forward with a Bullet Punch from Riolu, a Flame Charge from Combusken, and a Veevee Volley from Eevee.

"Smash!"

"Reflect!"

Duraludon created a barrier that protected itself, but the sheer power of the three Pokemon did a great deal of damage to the wall. Izuku ran forward and helped Melissa and Spoink up before giving them a determined look. "We've got the professor covered here. You go and save everyone else!"

Melissa nodded and ran out the door to find the control room. "After her!" Wolfram instructed the other man. His Mightyena ran forward, but Eevee jumped up and blocked the way. "We won't let you pass!"

"Don't make threats you can't live up to, kid!" Wolfram shouted as Duraludon shot out a Flash Cannon, but Spoink and Riolu intercepted the attack with a combined Psybeam and Vacuum Wave. Eevee then crashed into Mightyena with a powerful Sizzly Slide, followed up by a Scratch from Combusken.

"We will save you!" Both Melissa and Izuku shouted out loud. Eventually, Izuku and the others managed to hold the Villains off just long enough to allow Melissa to undo what the Villains had done.

"She got a hold of the security system?!" Wolfram yelled as everything began reverting back to normal.

With that, the security bots shut down and began heading back to their designated storing areas. The gates also opened, and the security vines restricting the Heroes finally released them. "You did it!" All Might said as he sent out his Lucario.

While Izuku was handling Mightyena, Wolfram and Duraludon managed to escape with David. Eventually, they managed to knock out both the Dark-Type and his trainer, but the boss and his Pokemon were long gone. Still… there was time to catch up!

Wolfram and Duraludon eventually made it to the roof where a helicopter and some men were waiting. "We're getting out of here before the security system gets back online." He said as he set down both the suitcase and David.

"Just kill me…" David said, groaning in pain. Wolfram sat down and smiled. "I'll add a few more sins to your heart first. Then, I'll make your wish come true, so don't you worry."

As the helicopter's propeller began spinning, they saw a pink beam strike it. "Give back the professor!" Izuku shouted, Combusken, Eevee, Riolu, and even Spoink there beside him.

"The systems are still good, sir! We can still go!" The pilot said. Wolfram smiled and leaned his head out of the helicopter. "I wonder, did you come to make this man pay for his crimes?!" He asked.

"Of course not!" Izuku shouted. "I'm here to rescue David Shield from the likes of you!" He said as the Pokemon charged for the vehicle.

"Even though he's a criminal?!" Wolfram asked as Duraludon shot out a Flash Cannon.

The Pokemon jumped to the side and above the beam as several more shot out. "Just watch! We're gonna save everybody, and that includes the professor!"

"It doesn't look like that to me!". Duraludon began using Rock Slide, pelting boulder after boulder at the Pokemon. Spoink eventually had to take a step back, but the other three expertly avoided the attacks.

"This is what Heroes do! They help people who need it!"

"How, exactly?!" Wolfram snapped his fingers and Duraludon placed his heavy foot over the professor's head, forcing the three Pokemon to stop in their tracks. "Save yourself! Run away!" David shouted as Izuku and his Pokemon stood there anxiously.

"Man, it must be really annoying being a Hero. We've barely done much and you're helpless!" Duraludon quickly whipped its head around and shot a Flash Cannon, hitting the three Pokemon and sending them skidding across the floor. It followed up with Rock Slides, trapping them underneath boulders before hitting with another Flash Cannon, dealing massive damage.

"Take off. We're getting outta here!" The helicopter lifted off the ground and began flying away as Melissa arrived at the door and helped Izuku and his Pokemon up. Izuku tried to come up with a plan. Combusken and Eevee were still conscious, but they could barely move. Riolu was the only one who could still move, so he didn't have much choice. "Riolu, throw me!"

Riolu nodded and the two of them ran forward. As they approached the edge of the building, they both jumped and Izuku grabbed onto Riolu's paw. The Pokemon spun around before launching him toward the helicopter, allowing Izuku to just barely grab onto the edge of the door. "Grab my hand!" He yelled as he struggled to get on board.

"Stop it, Midoriya! Get out of here!" David said softly, but the boy wasn't giving up. "Melissa is down there! Your daughter is waiting for you!" The professor's eyes lit up and he slowly reached for Izuku, but Wolfram wasn't going to have any of this.

"I'll give you this. You certainly act like a Hero, but it isn't enough!" He slammed his foot on Izuku's fingers, causing the boy to lose his grip and fall off. "Have a nice nap!" He said as the helicopter flew away.

Luckily for him, Riolu managed to jump up and catch Izuku before landing on the ground. Melissa ran over to them and helped Izuku up as he slammed his foot into the ground in frustration. "Let him go!" He shouted. "Don't take the professor! COME BACK!"

"Don't you dare lose that smile, young Midoriya!"

That voice…

Suddenly, Braviary and All Might flew high up into the sky, above the helicopter. "Use Hurricane!" The bird flapped his wings and created a huge blast of wind that stopped the vehicle from moving forward. "It's fine now! Do you know why? Because I am here!" All Might gave them all a thumbs up and smiled. "I'll have you return my friend to me!" He sent out Lucario who dashed through the helicopter with a meteor mash, causing it to burst into flames.

Somehow, Lucario managed to grab David on the way out and they reunited with All Might, Izuku, and Melissa back at the helicopter pad. "Papa!" Melissa and Izuku along with their Pokemon rushed to his side and were happy to see him okay.

"I'm… so sorry," David said as he looked down in shame. "This is all my-"

Suddenly, a huge blast of energy hit All Might, Braviary, and Lucario, sending them flying. Wolfram quickly ran in and grabbed David before jumping back to where his Duraludon is. Now, Duraludon wore the device David and Sam had created to amplify a Pokemon's power.

"I heard Sam," Wolfram said. "All Might's power is fading. You don't have the same power anymore!"

All Might coughed as he returned the knocked-out Braviary to his Pokeball. Lucario was still up, but the Max Steelspike did massive damage. Steam began coming off of them. They knew they didn't have much time left.

"You really don't know when to give up, do you?" All Might said with a laugh. "Go, Lucario! Use Close Combat!" The Aura Pokemon nodded and dashed forward, but it was quickly met with a powerful Reflect that created a wall between Duraludon and Lucario.

"That all you got?! Breaking Swipe!" Duraludon quickly dropped the barrier and slammed its tail into Lucario, sending it flying back once more.

Wolfram began laughing maniacally as he pulled out Duraludon's Pokeball. "We're so much stronger than before! This is amazing! Now, I can really show you what we're made of!" He returned the Pokemon to its Pokeball as his wristband began glowing with a pink light. "Now! Gigantamax!"

The Pokeball grew in size with a pink glow around it and Wolfram threw the Pokeball into the air. Out came a Gigantamax Duraludon, overflowing with infinity energy. It picked up David and Wolfram and set them on its head before roaring.

"Max Steelspike!" He shouted. Duraludon slammed its foot into the ground, creating a series of metal spikes. Lucario jumped up and slammed his fist right into them, but the power of the Max Move was too powerful.

Riolu and Combusken quickly grabbed Izuku and Melissa while Eevee and Spoink followed close behind. Their primary goal was to get out, but they couldn't just sit around. Izuku and his Pokemon knew All Might was at his limit.

Wolfram began laughing as he slammed his foot down. "Max Rockfall!" Duraludon created a huge wall of rock before pushing on it, crashing on top of Lucario and All Might. Thanks to his immense strength, Lucario was able to hold it up, but he wouldn't last very long.

"Why won't you just die already!" Wolfram snapped his fingers and Duraludon released another Max Steelspike right for Lucario and All Might.

"No! All Might!" Izuku reached out to try and help him, but before the spikes could even reach the Hero, a Blizzard hit them, instantly freezing them and stopping them in their tracks.

"Go to hell!" Katsuki and Typhlosion appeared out of nowhere and released a powerful Lava Plume, but Duraludon managed to block it with a Max Guard. "Come on! Hurry and take him down!" He yelled.

Shoto and Ninetales stood there and froze the rock Lucario had been holding up. "We'll do what we can to help!" The trainer said as the others entered from the door behind him.

"Iida, let's knock that thing outta the sky!" Eijiro said as Druddigon roared. Skarmory flew into the sky and got ready as well. "Everyone, cover us from behind!" Tenya said as the two Pokemon rushed forward.

All Might smiled as he and Lucario powered up One for All again. "Everyone's so motivated, Lucario! There's no way we can let ourselves be held back by something so foolish as a limit!" Lucario smiled and nodded before destroying the frozen rock. "Push past our boundaries… and go beyond!"

Lucario dashed forward and roared. "It's time to be… Plus Ultra!"

He jumped up and avoided a Max Steelspike, even jumping across the spikes to gain more ground. When several Max Rockfalls came their way, Lucario simply punched through them. "Your time has come, Villain!"

The Aura Pokemon shot an Aura Sphere right at Duraludon, but the Gigantamax Pokemon simply used Max Guard and completely negated the attack. Before Lucario could strike again, Duraludon shot metal tendrils out from the ground and restrained him.

"Hm, my time has come? Let's see about that."

Duraludon raised Lucario up to where Wolfram was and shot out another metal tendril, grabbing onto All Might and bringing him to where the Villain was. He then grabbed onto All Might's side and squeezed it tight, exactly where his deep wound was. Both Lucario and All Might screamed in pain.

"Shit!" Katsuki shouted as Typhlosion destroyed another Max Rockfall with a Lava Plume. "We can't hold out much longer!" Shoto and Ninetales avoided a Max Steelspike before striking with another Blizzard.

"How… how did you know about… my wound…" All Might began shaking in pain as he coughed up more blood… then, he realized. "No… that's not possible…"

Wolfram smiled and nodded. "Oh, yes. While we were planning this little plot, I received a call from the man himself." All Might looked up in fear at the Gigantamax Duraludon and its trainer. The only man he could be referring to was none other than the man who nearly killed him all those years ago… All for One.

"He said he wanted to work with me. When I asked why he'd bother, he was happy to explain his interest. If All Might's friend wanted to do something evil, he'd help in any way he could. His only regret was not being able to see your face."

All Might's heart sunk as he looked at Wolfram right in the eyes. "He's… he's behind this?!" The Villain smiled as he tightened his grip. "What's the matter? Looks like you've finally lost your smile!" He snapped his fingers and Duraludon moved them high in the sky.

"No!" All Might and Lucario tried to break free from their restraints, but it was too late. "Max Depletion!" Purple energy surrounded Duraludon before it shot a huge blast of energy right at the Heroes, creating a massive explosion of Dragon energy.

Izuku and the others watched in horror as Duraludon unleashed Max attack after Max attack on All Might and Lucario. "All Might!" The student yelled, completely taken aback by how this man and his Pokemon had completely overpowered the number one Hero.

"Farewell, Symbol of Peace!" Wolfram yelled as Duraludon prepared a Max Rockfall to crush them once and for all. But no, Izuku wouldn't allow it!

Riolu jumped up in the air, and charging up a 100% Smash, he and Izuku mimicked each other's movements. "SMASH!" Izuku shouted as Riolu let out a powerful Force Palm, destroying the Max Rockfall and the metal tendrils that had taken All Might and Lucario.

Fortunately, All Might and Lucario could still stand, and they managed to save Riolu from an incoming Max Steelspike before landing back on the ground and reuniting with Izuku. As the green-haired boy and the rest of his Pokemon ran up to them, they all felt a sudden jolt of pain surge throughout their body, causing Izuku to fall to the ground,

"Young Midoriya!" All Might shouted as he helped the boy up. "Your body can't handle this! It's too reckless!" Izuku shook his head and looked up at the Hero. "Yeah, but… it's a Hero's job to save those in need, right?" He asked as he helped his other Pokemon up as well.

All Might was silent for a moment, but he eventually started laughing. "You make a good point. Looks like I've gotten myself into quite the situation." He said before holding out his hand. "Will you lend me your aid, Midoriya?"

Izuku smiled and shook the man's hand. "Yes, sir!" Lucario turned to Riolu and the two gave each other a fist bump before charging up One for All.

"Combusken, Eevee. Give us support!" Izuku shouted. The two Pokemon nodded and hopped away to join Katsuki in the others in covering for the two.

"Let's go!" All Might shouted.

"Right!"

With that, both Riolu and Lucario dashed forward at blinding speeds.

Wolfram slammed his foot on the ground and yelled in frustration. "You… pests! You don't know when to die!" He shouted as Duraludon let out another Max Steelspike.

"You're the one who doesn't know when he's beat!" Typhlosion jumped in the air, joined by Combusken as the two combined their attacks and created a gigantic explosion of flames that completely destroyed the attack.

Duraludon tried attacking them with more metal tendrils, but a Blizzard from Ninetales stopped them in their place, allowing Eevee to come in with a Sizzly Slide and destroy them. "We won't let you stop them!" Shoto yelled.

Duraludon slammed its foot, creating a shockwave that destroyed the ground around them. This created two different paths to its left and right where Riolu and Lucario split up.

Lucario took the left side, expertly avoiding metal tendrils and Max Steelspikes. At one point, he even managed to strike a series of spikes with his own Meteor Mash, destroying them and creating a massive explosion.

Over on the right side, Riolu initially struggled to keep up, but after he and Izuku focused all of their power, he managed to run forward at blinding speeds, destroying a Max Rockfall with a powerful Force Palm.

The two Pokemon regrouped on top of a metal tendril as they made their way toward Duraludon. Noivern and Skarmory destroyed a few more of the tendrils with Boomburst and Drill Peck before Pikachu released a powerful Discharge. Clefable ended up using Psychic on the broken pieces of rock and metal, using them to counter a Max Steelspike. Druddigon and Aegislash even took a hit together, allowing Trubbish to jump up and destroy a few tendrils with Gunk Shot.

Eventually, once they were close enough, Duraludon activated its Max Guard. Riolu and Lucario jumped in the air and took a deep breath. They were one with their trainers, and all four of them were going to give it everything they had!

"To overcome any crisis, and give everything you got!" All Might said as he and Lucario pulled their arms back.

"To save people, no matter what the cost! That's what makes someone a Hero!" Izuku and Riolu did the same.

Everyone watched in awe as the two Pokemon rocketed towards the powered-up Gigantamax Pokemon. "Deku!" Ochako shouted.

"Go, Midoriya!"

"Get him, All Might!"

"WIN!"

As if the power of One for All had gotten even stronger for a second, All Might and Izuku smiled. "Let's go…" Izuku said. "Beyond!" All Might finished.

"PLUS… ULTRA!"

The two Pokemon slammed their fists into the barrier with 100% of their strength, completely shattering it and creating a massive explosion that finally knocked out the Duraludon.

As David fell from atop the Duraludon, he spotted something. The one who had saved him… but it wasn't just Lucario and All Might. No, it was Riolu and Izuku as well.

Lucario grabbed onto David and Wolfram and brought them back safely to the ground while Riolu regrouped with Izuku and his other Pokemon.

"They did it… they won!" Tenya shouted, celebrating with the others.

"Deku!" Melissa shouted as she and Spoink ran up to Izuku. "Your dad is gonna be okay." The boy said.

She began crying as she embraced the boy. "Thank you so much!" She said. Izuku smiled and returned the embrace. "The only reason we were able to do it was because of your Bastiodon… Gauntlet. Oh no!" He looked at Riolu and realized that the gauntlet must have shattered when they released that final attack.

"Don't worry about it. I'm just glad you all are safe." She said.

Lucario tied Wolfram up with rope before joining All Might and David. "I've heard most of what happened from Melissa." The Hero said, now in his weaker form. The professor looked down at the ground in shame. "It's all true. I was so scared we'd lose the Symbol of Peace, but my ideas and that device were nothing more than to make sure nothing changed… even though the future was there right in front of me."

The two men looked to Izuku and Melissa, watching the two children laugh with their Pokemon. "I can't believe I never noticed it. You have Izuku Midoriya."

All Might smiled and nodded. "He's got a long road ahead of him, but I see a light in him that shines brighter than any I had ever seen."

David agreed and pat All Might on the back. "With people like him around, even when we're gone, the world will turn out just fine. I can see it too. He's got the heart of a Hero."
