The next morning, Ron Andy walked out the door with his skateboard in his hands. "Ah Saturday morning, my favourite day of the week." Ron Andy said. "Now to hit the town."
"Ronaldo." Maria stopped Ron Andy from leaving. "Aren't you forgetting something?"
"I love you mom." Ron Andy said.
"And?" Maria raised her eyebrow.
"My helmet." Ron Andy answered, then Maria placed the helmet on her son's head. "Yeah you showed me all the head trauma from patients who didn't wear their helmets."
"Good, now I have to go to word have fun." Maria said as she walked away.
"I will mom." Ron Andy said and began to skate away on his skateboard to the park. "This is gonna be a long day."
As Ron Andy skated through the streets his stomach growled. "Man I'm getting hungry." Ron Andy said. He knew feeding his breakfast to Lala was bad, but he wasn't that hungry after his first meal.
Ron Andy stops at a hot dog cart. "Hey Sal, I'll take a hot dog with everything on it." Ron Andy said.
"You sure about that kid? That's a lot of toppings on a hot dog." Sal said.
"I always had one back in Great Lakes City, I can handle them." Ron Andy replied.
"Whatever you say kid." Sal said and began to make the hot dog.
"Hey that sounds good." Ron Andy turned around and sees a 12 year old light skinned half Asian boy with short brunette hair spiked up and freckles. He's wearing a blue long sleeved shirt, black pants, black shoes right behind. "I'll have what he's having too."
"Great you started a trend Ron Andy." Sal said and handed him his hotdog with everything on it.
"Just two people eat it." Ron Andy said and walked away.
Meanwhile at the skate park, Ron Andy is trying to jump over a fire hydrant and do a kickflip, but messes up a bit. "Dang it. I still can't do the trick."
"I thought it was pretty cool." Ron Andy turned around and sees the same boy from the hot dog stand.
"Hey you're that kid from the hot dog stand?" Ron Andy asked.
"That's right. I saw you trying to jump over that fire hydrant and it looked cool." The boy said.
"You want to give it a try dude? Wait what's your name?" Ron Andy asked.
"Oh my name is Sid Chang, I just moved here." Sid introduced himself. "Oh and heck yeah!"
Both Ron Andy and Sid are at the ramp, Sid is on Ron Andy's skateboard, he skates off and then when he approaches the fire hydrant, he tried to jump, but he bumps into the fire hydrant and falls on the ground. Ron Andy runs towards Sid to check up on him. "Dude! Are you okay?!" Ron Andy asked.
"I wiped out and it was awesome!" Sid exclaimed.
"You are one strange dude." Ron Andy said. "Oh and I'm Ron Andy."
Meanwhile at the park, both Sid and Ron Andy are sitting down at the bench. "So what are you doing here in Royal Woods?" Ron Andy asked.
"My family and I just moved here. My mom is just waiting for moving truck to come over here." Sid replied.
"Where did you move from?" Ron Andy asked.
"Great Lakes City, my mom got a job at the Royal Woods zoo as a zoologist." Sid said. "She even brings some animals home."
"That's awesome. Are you a only child?" Ron Andy asked.
"No, I have a little brother." Sid said as he showed a picture of him and his family. There's Sid, a 6 year old boy with dark brunette hair with hair that reaches the back of his neck, two teeth that stick out of his mouth. He's wearing a red t-shirt with a yellow button around the neck area and white collar around the neck of the shirt, purple shorts and black shoes. A woman with light skin, long blonde hair, pink lipstick, two pairs of eyelashes and freckles, she's wearing a light brown t-shirt with two yellow horizontal stripes, dark brown jeans and black shoes. And a Asian man with short black hair, thick eyebrows, he wears a dark green sweater, mint green jeans and white shoes.
"That's my little brother Anthony, and those are my parents." Sid said.
"What does your dad do for a living?" Ron Andy asked.
"He drives the subway." Sid said.
"Royal Woods doesn't have a subway system." Ron Andy said.
"He's back in Great Lakes City, my parents split up before the move, and they're still married. It's just that they're far away from each other." Sid sighed.
"I can relate. My parents split up when I was little. The only problem is that he's somewhere in South America." Ron Andy said. "But I live with my mom, my big sister, my grandparents, Uncle Carlos, Aunt Frida, and my cousins Carlito, C.J, Carla and Carlita."
"That's a big family." Sid said.
"Yeah it feels like a sitcom." Ron Andy said.
"I would so watch it." Sid said.
"Same. Hey you want to hang out at my place?" Ron Andy asked.
"Heck yeah!" Sid replied. The two kids got off the bench and began to walk away to Ron Andy's house.
Once the two boys have reached the Santiago/Casagrande household, they both see a moving van on the house on the right. "Hey that's the moving van." Sid said.
Then the two boys see Sid's mother exiting the doorway of the house. "Sid! The moving van is here! Can you give me a hand?!" Becca cried out.
"Sure thing mom!" Sid replied. "Listen I gotta go help my mom unpack, but I promise we'll hang out later."
"Sure thing Sid." Ron Andy nodded as Sid walked away. Then his phone rang and he answered it to see Linka. "Hey Linka, how's the spa?"
"Pretty good." Linka said as she has a towel wrapped around her head. "I had some fish eat the dead skin off of my feet. So how's your weekend going?"
"I made a new friend who lives next door." Ron Andy said. "His name is Sid Chang, you'll love him. He's kind of like one of those kids that want to try everything."
"Sounds cool." Linka said. "I can't wait to meet him."
"Linka, it's time for your nail appointment!" Rita called out.
"Gotta go, see ya dude!" Linka replied asnd hung up.
"You'll love Sid." Ron Andy sighed in relief.
That was Friended, and I will admit it's not my best But it took me months to think and write of, I was going to add an encounter with the genderbent version of Hank and Hawk, but I couldn't think of their motive and their looks. Anyway please and review.
