The walk to the motel was long and full of complaints.

"Where did my ice cream go?" Kaito asked.

"You threw it out the window." Len said flatly, kicking a rock along the sidewalk.

"I know, but where did it land?" Kaito replied, looking around.

"Back there, probably." Len jerked a thumb over his shoulder. "Anyway, you aren't getting it back."

"I know, it's just sad." Kaito said, licking his ice cream.

"Where did that come from?!" Len shrieked, pointing at the chocolate ice cream cone in his hand.

Kaito simply shrugged and licked the cone again.

When they finally reached the Holiday Inn they were going to spend the night in, Luka went in to rent a room while the others lounged outside.

"Don't blow up the room this time." Lula said, tossing the keys to Len. "The boys are in room eleven, and the girls are in room twelve."

Tei frowned at this.

"Tei, don't complain." Luka muttered, turning on heel and walking towards the girl's room. "There's only two beds, so someone needs sleep on the floor and someone else on the couch."

"Dibs on the bed!" Rin yelled.

"I'll take the other bed." Miku said with a smile.

"I want the couch!" Teto cried before anyone else could have it.

"So I guess Tei and I are on the ground…" Luka sighed. She unlocked the room and everyone ran in to claim their beds.

Meanwhile, the boys were still discussing who slept where. Meaning Mikuo had Kaito in a headlock while Len and Oliver pulled at each other's hair while screaming.

"The bed is MINE!" Mikuo hissed at Kaito, who was struggling to get out of the other Vocaloid's grip.

"Len!" Oliver said. "Why don't we just take the keys and both get a bed before Kaito and Mikuo?"

Len paused. "That's… That's actually a good idea. On the count of three, we bolt. Ready? One… Two… Three!"

The two blonds took off down the hall, whipping around the corner and tearing the door open. Mikuo and Kaito were still processing where they were going.

"What are they doing?" Kaito asked.

"I dunno."

They stared in the direction where Len and Oliver had ran for a moment before it clicked for Mikuo.

"THEY'RE TAKING THE BEDS!" He screamed, releasing Kaito and running down the hall after the two boys.

Kaito followed closely behind. Even if Len and Oliver got the beds, he was not going to take the floor.

"Kaito, you're on the floor." Mikuo said, pointing at the tan carpet.

Kaito sighed and sat down with his ice cream, accepting his fate.
