On the day of the departure they met at breakfast at the cafe that they first spoke. She came with a map and showed him the route she chose for them. He didn't care about that. The travel would take about tree days at best, five if the weather was horrible. After they ate they took their backpacks and left the village.

„I'll miss it. I think I might come back here in the future, its so beautiful" she said when she glanced back at the wall when thy were far from it. Sasuke noted that he had nothing against coming back to this place.

The first day was mostly quiet and they stopped rarely. Sasuke proposed to set their tents up when they crossed the border. It was almost dark. She agreed with pleasure because she was a little tired from the journey, plus she couldn't sleep the previous night. Sasuke made a fire and they sat together and ate. She looked at him over the flames. When she was little she never understood why so many of the girls were after him. Of course he was pleasant looking but he wasn't nice to anybody and mostly quiet. He was so unlike Naruto she thought and looked down. It was the first time for a few months that she was thinking about the blonde ninja. She still felt strongly about him but she wouldn't call it love anymore. It didn't hurt anymore that he didn't respond to her confession of love but it wasn't pleasant when she thought about him. It never is when it comes to love that never was. In the meantime Sasuke was glancing at her. He wandered what she was thinking about because her cheeks were more red than usually but her eyes were sad. At least not empty he noted.

„Why did you leave?" He asked out of nowhere.

„Oh, I needed to. You know… My cousin, Neji, died in the war. I didn't see a place for me in the village. I just wanted out" she said truthfully. She looked at him and smiled „And to be frank I don't regret this decision."

„I'm sorry about Neji" he remembered that Neji was dead, he had great respect for him. He was one of the first peers he thought of as strong. Him and Rock Lee.

„Life, right?" She said and stood up. „I think I'm going to go to sleep now" and she went to her tent, before she entered she added „Goodnight". He replied the same.

When Sasuke woke up and walked out of the tent he saw that Hinata was making breakfast, her tent was packed. He always thought about himself as early bird but she surprised him.

„Good morning" he said and she turned around and smiled.

„Do you want a sandwich?"

„Sure" he ate it in silence watching her. She seemed to be in a better mood than yesterday. He packed up and they were on their way again. This time he was leading. She was going behind him. He was a good companion for traveling. He didn't talk too much and wasn't intrusive. Also when they talked she felt that he wanted to be around her, she didn't feel as if she was a burden for him. She felt good in his company. Also she had more time to look at him and now she could understand why women looked back at him on the streets. He was handsome. In a weird, dark way, but handsome. She's never really seen it before but to be honest she has never been looking.

When they stopped for the night she decided to take out a book she bought in the Village Hidden Among Snow on the Land of Hot Water. She wanted to see some of the architectural destinations in there.

„Is there anything interesting?" Sasuke asked when he finished eating.

„Well there is lots of hot springs for one. But I'm interested in seeing the most historical one. It was a place of meeting for ages once. There are a lot of beautiful drawings on the walls" she said ant showed him the photo she was looking at. „It's near the Bamboo Village, we could stay there. Also I'd like to see Valley of Hell" Sasuke knew the Valley of Hell he was there once. It didn't strike him as vacation destination but he wasn't going to say that to Hinata, if she wanted to see it then she should.

„Sounds good"

„I just hope the war didn't damage this country too much" And Sasuke knew it did.

They crossed the border od the Land od Hot Water the next day. They decided to keep on going till they reach the Bamboo Village since it was not such a long distance. There visible destructions from war and Sasuke saw that it was bringing Hinata down. Bamboo Village was reconstructed and looked nice. Whole country was steamy and caused both of them to sweat. Sasuke instantly wanted to leave but Hinata seemed to be in awe at the people and didn't mind the hot.

„How can you look this happy in this weather?" He asked her when they reached the only hotel in the city.

„It's not forever. And it's nice when you stop thinking about the sweat" she laughed. He just shook his head. When they settled in both of them wanted to go to the hot springs. They met in the hallway by accident. No clothes, just towels. Hinatas eyes landed on his torso and she thought that Sasuke was definitely one of the most handsome men she has encountered and instantly turned red at her thought. Sasuke was stunned as well. He didn't think her skin would look this smooth and milky. They stood like that for a few seconds and awkwardly went away, Hinata to the womans section an Sasuke to the mans. They both were thinking about this encounter.

Next morning they met at breakfast and Sasuke once again was speechless. Hinata was dressed in a way he has not seen her before. He could see that she had a body to die for. It was hard not to look at her. When they finished eating they were on their way to the oldest hot spring in the country. It was only a tourist attraction now because baths and springs were out of order for a long time. The insides were more beautiful than in the pictures. Every detail was planned and thought through. Mans Tatr was cepa in eartly colors and women's had all the colors of the sky in them.

„Do you think they renovate these drawings?" She whispered to him

„They had to. It would be impossible for them to be this good after all these years" he guessed. She suddenly grabbed his arm and pointed to the right.

„Look there is a balkony!" Sasuke looked at her surprised and amused. This girl seemed to be drown to every high point of view in the world. They went there together and he suddenly thought that he was coming as well. „How beautiful! The steam looks so beautiful up here between the trees" and it did. It was worth remembering but Sasuke was once again looking at her not the view. She was beautiful. He couldn't believe they spent merely five days together. He then realized that he was begging to fall for the girl. He quickly stepped away from her. It was not a good idea and he knew it. She turned around to look at him. She was happy right there.

„Would you like to see anything else?" He asked. She was puzzled because of his tone of voice. It was different than before. He seemed absent.

„Did something happen?" She didn't even answer his question.

„No, why?"

„I just… You seem off"

„Nothings wrong, where do we go next?" He was stunned that she was able to sense the change. Not all people could and he tried not to show it.

„There is this cave near here. We could go there but if you want to go back that's okay" she was worried. Something did happen and she didn't know what.

„Lets see that cave" he smiled. She was an amazing woman and he didn't want to hurt her in any way, ever. She still was suspicious but lead the way to the cave. It was the biggest cave she's ever seen but other than that it was nothing special, even to her so they went back to the village. He knew she was still more focused on him than before.

„You know Sasuke" she stopped him on the street „I really like spending time with you but don't feel obligated to stay if you don't want to" he raised his eyebrows. Did she really think it was about him not wanting to spend time with her?

„Hinata if I didn't want to be here I wouldn't be" he simply said and moved on.

„It's just weird" she run after him „one minute everything is okay, the next you act absent"

„Leave it Hinata, let's go eat something"

„I can't leave it. I want us to be on good terms…"

„Than leave it" his voice was starting to be angry.

„Oh no." She stopped dead in her tracks „If it's nothing then say what it is. If you don't want to tell me why" she was stubborn. He didn't remember that about her. When he didn't answer she just turned around and went into the nearest shop. It was an ice-cream shop so she ordered a cone of vanilla ice cream. She stepped outside and there he was. Waiting for her. He saw that she was angry and he didn't know why. He still didn't talk so she just went on and looked around the village. He was following her curious about what she was going to do. After about half an hour she went into a bar. This was unexpected, he didn't think she drank, like ever. He watched her as she was ordering a beer ant then she went to the furthest cubicle there. He sat opposite her and still watched her as she drank. They both were playing a game „who speaks first" but what she didn't know was that Sasuke was the master in this game. She finished the beer and went out of the bar. She was a little lightheaded. She's never had the strong head but it was weird. She came to the conclusion that it was because of the temperature and the fact that she didn't eat dinner yet. Sasuke saw that she was a little drunk and smiled. When they got to the local park she sat down o a bench.

„I don't understand you Sasuke" she said as he sat next to her and laid her he'd on his shoulder. She lost.

„Can we go eat now?" She nodded. The food this time was not that great. Apart from the cake at the end. Of course only Hinata could say that because Saske didn't eat sweets.

„You don't know what you're missing" she said before she put the last spoon in her mouth.

„I don't like sweets" she rolled her eyes.

„Never mind. I think I need to go back to the hotel. I'm tired" she said as she yawned. And so they did. He escorted her to her room. She turned around and looked up at him. „You are not as scary as people think you are" she said and kissed his cheek before going into her room. It was all it took to dumbstruck Sasuke. He stood there for quite some time before going to his room. When Hinata was sleeping he was thinking how bad of an idea all of this was. Six days and he already was captivated by her. She was more dangerous than anybody in his life. He wondered why was he so opposed going with his feelings and the only explanation was that he still felt that he didn't deserve any of this and most of all - her. She was pure, he was tainted. She was curious, he couldn't care less. They were just so different.
