Cas came home later that evening carrying in a few pizzas with Benny in tow. "I'm home!" he called out when he didn't hear a response he yelled out again, "Dean? Henry?"

"I think they're outside chief." Benny said pointing to the back door. Sure enough, as soon as Cas looked over he saw Henry run by with Charlie chasing after him. Cas set the pizzas on the dining room table and went outside.

Dean was sitting on the deck watching Charlie and Henry run around. "Hey guys." Dean greeted once he saw Cas and Benny. "Where have you been Benny? I haven't seen you in a while."

"Just been busy cher."

"Henry, papa is home!" Dean yelled out. Henry started running over but when he saw Benny he stopped in his tracks and ran back to Charlie.

"Still scared of me I see." Benny chuckled.

"I don't know why… I'm sorry." Dean sighed.

"Don't be. The kid hardly knows me." Benny shrugged and they watched Charlie carry Henry up the stairs and he immediately reached for Dean.

"Henry, come on man. Benny isn't going to hurt you. He's daddy and papa's friend." Dean said, trying to get Henry to stop clinging to him. Henry just hurried his face into Dean's neck.

"Maybe I should go." Benny said softly.

"No, please don't. Just give him some time to warm up to you." Cas said, "besides you payed for the pizza. It'd be rude of us to eat it with out you."

After they were done eating, Dean excused himself and Henry to give him a quick bath. "Daddy?" Henry asked as Dean rinsed the shampoo out of his hair.

"Yes?"

"That man scary."

"What man?" Dean asked clearly confused.

"Downstairs wif papa and Charlie." Henry frowned.

"Benny? Why do you think Benny is scary baby?" If Henry was truly scared of him Dean had a tough decision to make.

"He a bad guy."

"Benny is not a bad guy buddy. He's a cop like papa. He helps people and daddy has known him since he was a little boy." Dean explained.

"I no like him daddy." Henry began to cry.

"Okay baby. Benny won't come over anymore." Dean sighed and had Henry stand up so he could rinse his body off before wrapping him in a towel and getting him to use the bathroom.

"Do you want to go say goodnight to papa and Charlie?" Dean asked and Henry shook his head no but yelled down the stairs.

"Nigh, nigh Charlie! Papa come up here!" Dean let out a chuckle and carried followed Henry to his room.

"Goodnight buddy!" Charlie yelled up the stairs.

Dean had just pulled up Henry's pull up when Cas walked in.

"You ready for bed?" Cas asked.

"Almost papa, gotta brush my teef… No daddy I want dose." Henry frowned and pointed to his dinosaur pajamas.

"My bad." Dean said and put down the Superman pajamas he had.

"Papa can you read me a story?"

"I can once your teeth are brushed." Cas told him.

"Okay!" Henry yelled and ran to the bathroom before Dean could even get his pajama shirt on.

"I guess he'll put this on later." Dean chuckled and followed Henry back to the bathroom.

Once Henry was tucked in and Dean had given him his goodnight kisses and said I love you, Cas sat on the edge of the bed with 'Goodnight Moon'.

"Daddy stayyyyy." Henry whined once he realized Dean was leaving.

"Alright." Dean sighed and sat in the rocking chair in the corner and couldn't help but take a few pictures of Cas reading to their son and maybe a video or two.

"I didn't think he'd ever go to sleep." Cas said quietly once they were out in the hall.

"Me either." Dean agreed. "I hate to be those people but can we kick Benny out soon? There's a lot I want to talk about."

"Sure… Is everything okay?" Cas asked.

They started down the stairs, "yeah, just want to tell you about my appointments today and something Henry said to me."

"Okay, I'll just use the excuse of having to work early tomorrow… Which is true."

They got back to the living room and talked with Benny and Charlie for a while before Cas started yawning. "I should go." Benny suggested.

"I'm sorry. It's been a long day and I've got to be up early tomorrow." Cas apologized.

"It's alright we'll get together some other time." Benny grinned, said his goodbyes and headed out the door.

"I found a house." Charlie blurted.

"What?" Dean and Cas asked at the same time.

"I found a house a couple blocks away. It's a two bedroom and it's fairly cheap." Charlie explained.

"Oh, so you're going to buy it? Or rent it?"

"Rent. I can't afford to buy a house right now."

"Well congrats Charlie. You didn't need to move out now." Dean said.

"I know but I feel like a guest here. I love you guys don't get me wrong but it's your house."

"We understand, just let us know when you need help moving." Cas said.

"I will. Now, I'm going to go hang out with a few friends, I can sense a tension between you two that needs worked out and I don't need details." Charlie said and kissed their cheeks.

"Be safe!" Dean called after her.

"I will!"

Dean cleaned up the mess in the kitchen while Cas locked up the house. "So what did Henry say to you?" Cas asked while he helped Dean clean up.

"That Benny is scary and he thinks he's a bad guy." Dean sighed.

"That's odd. He's only meet him twice now." Cas frowned.

"I know but he started crying and saying he doesn't like him. I don't know what to do Cas. Benny is one of my best friends but I want to put Henry's needs before anything."

"You don't have to cut Benny out of your life Dean. Henry will warm up to him eventually but we could just meet Benny alone with out Henry."

"That's true I guess… Let's go upstairs."

"Wait, tell me about your appointments!" Cas stopped him.

"I will but I want a shower and to get in comfortable clothes."

"Can I join your shower?" Cas asked wiggling his eyebrows.

"I don't care." Dean laughed and took off towards the stairs.

"Go get the shower started, I'll check in on Henry." Cas said once they got upstairs.

Dean was already enjoying the hot spray when Cas joined him. "He's still sleeping." Cas said and wrapped his arms around Dean's waist.

"Good. He's had a long day. I never did get him down for another nap."

"Oh, that reminds me. The captain wanted me to ask you if you'd be willing to be part time sketch artist for the station. Especially for omega cases."

"Seriously?" Dean asked and turned around.

"Yeah, he was very pleased with your work today." Cas smiled.

"That'd be great! But I wanted to run something by you as well."

"What's that?"

"You know that old building that's for sale near the station?" Dean asked.

"Yeah?"

"I want to buy it." Dean grinned.

"What? Why?" Cas asked and reached for Dean's shampoo and began massaging it into his scalp.

Dean let out a pleased hum before explaining. "Well, sitting with Jessica today and getting her to trust me and open up made me realize how much I want to help troubled omegas, well any teenager. So, I thought i could buy that building, renovate it a bit to make it kind of like a shelter/safe haven for troubled teens. And have like different activities and therapy."

"Dean, that's a wonderful idea. I love it." Cas said as he rinsed the shampoo out of Dean's hair.

"And I could teach them to paint and draw… And some photography. Charlie could come in and teach them about computers."

"That's a great idea my love." Cas bent down a bit to kiss Dean.

"Thank you. I hope I can pull it off."

"I know you can. Now let's finish up so we can talk about your appointments."

They put on boxers and crawled into bed. "Dr. Hansen's appointment went well. I cried… Like a lot but I feel better about things now." Dean started.

"Good. I'm glad. I wish I could help you with that stuff."

"Cas, you do. Just by being here with me every day and loving me and our son unconditionally." The two sat in silence for a little bit before Cas asked about Dean's other appointment.

"That went well also. Everything looks okay and we should be in the clear for sex next week. She said to maybe hold off another couple weeks before we start trying again… Which I kind of want to wait until we're married." Dean explained.

"That's fine Dean. Whenever you want."

"Cas. I don't want a big wedding." Dean said suddenly.

"Oh?"

"I'm sorry but I've been trying to plan things and nothing is really popping out to me. I'd be perfectly happy with just a small ceremony with our moms, siblings, Charlie, Benny, Bobby and Ellen."

"That sounds wonderful to me Dean. I don't care as long as you're mine in every way possible…" Cas said pulling Dean close to him. "That sounded creepy I'm sorry."

Dean just laughed, "I know what you mean."

Cas chuckled, "good. Let's get some sleep."

Dean woke with a start when his phone started ringing. "What the fuck?" He mumbled and reached for the phone and noticed it was 2 in the morning. "Somebody better be fucking dead." he mumbled to himself again and frowned when he saw the unknown number. He almost ignored it but something was telling him to answer.

"'lo?"

"Dean?" A small voice came out through the other end.

"Yeah." he huffed starting to get annoyed.

"I-it's Jessica.. I'm sorry I called you so late. I should hang up."

"Hearing Jessica's name Dean was fully awake

"NO! Don't hang up! Hang on a second." Dean said and sat up.

"Who is it?" Cas mumbled, "everything okay?"

"It's fine Cas, go back to sleep." Dean said and quickly slid out of bed, grabbed one of Cas' shirts and went downstairs so he wouldn't wake anyone up.

"Okay, I'm here. What's wrong honey?" Dean asked.

Jessica sniffed and apologized again. "I'm sorry, I should have waited until a better time."

"Hey, I told you to call or text me any time no matter what time." Dean said. "Now, what's going on?"

"I can't sleep. I keep having nightmares and my mom doesn't really know how to help me."

"Oh sweetie, I wish I could tell you they go away but they don't. I still get mine and it's been 3 years since I was kidnapped. It does get better and the nightmares become less frequent but unfortunately they'll be with you for the rest of your life." Dean explained.

"How do I make it better?" Jessica sniffed.

"As cliche as it sounds but time. And someone to talk to and to trust. Distracting yourself helped me a lot."

"What did you do?"

"Well I had a baby to take care of for starters. But I paint and draw a lot. That helped me."

"I still can't believe you had Henry in high school." Jessica giggled.

"Me either. But I can't imagine my life with out him, or Cas."

"I'm never going to be able to find a mate."

"Why do you say that?" Dean asked.

"Because I'm damaged now." Jessica began to cry again. Dean let her gather herself before he spoke.

"There is someone out there for you Jessica. You're very young still, you have time. Just because I was just barely older than you when I found Cas doesn't mean you won't find your person someday. You don't need to rush into things, live your life. Go to college, find your passion."

They talked for almost an hour before Jessica was calmed down enough to try and go to sleep. They said goodnight and Dean headed up the stairs. Now that things mellowed out he was crashing and crashing fast.

He crawled back into bed and snuggled up to Cas, making sure to kiss him real quick. Cas made a little noise in his sleep but never woke up, he just pulled Dean in closer to him.

"I don't know why you're taking me." Sam grumbled as he threw his bag into the back seat of the Impala.

"Because I want to. So, shut up and deal with it." Dean replied. "Do you really not want to spend time with me? Because Mom can still take you."

"No, it's fine. I don't want to be wasting your time."

"Sammy. You never waste my time. I have a few things planned for us while we're gone. You need the distraction from things at school and I could use a break."

They drove for a while in comfortable silence before Sam reached over and turned the radio down. "How are you doing by the way… since you know." Sam asked.

"Since the miscarriage?"

"Yeah, that."

"I'm okay. I had my check up at the beginning of the week. Everything looks okay and Cas and I'll be in the clear in a couple weeks to try again if we want."

"Do you want?"

"Of course. But I think we're going to wait until after the wedding."

"Makes sense. When is the wedding by the way?" Sam asked.

"Dude I don't even know." Dean groaned. "Cas and I decided that we just want a very small wedding and nothing special so I guess we just need to pick a day."

"That's a good idea."

"You're going to be my best man right?" Dean asked and glanced over at his brother.

"You want me as your best man?"

"Well duh, who else would I have." Dean chuckled.

"I don't know I kinda thought about Benny or even Charlie." Sam shrugged.

"Benny and I aren't close anymore. We're still friends but it's not the same and as for Charlie, she'll probably be annoyed but she'll probably end up officiating."

"Well then yeah dude. I'll be your best man."

"What about you kid. How's school going besides the whole Jess fiasco?"

"It sucks honestly. Andy doesn't talk to me anymore, Brady is being obnoxious about things and Jess just keeps looking at me with sad eyes… I'm just ready to be out of there."

"I'm sorry. At least you're almost done. Are you still wanting to go to law school?"

"Yeah, I want to specialize in omega safety and family law."

"Omega safety?" Dean asked.

"It's relatively new. It's a practice that specializes in making sure abused omegas have a voice and are able to get back on their feet."

"Sammy." Dean sniffed, feeling overwhelmed.

"Dean, when you were missing that was the scariest moments of my life. I don't want anyone else feeling that way and I want to make sure omegas can feel safe."

"Damn it Sam." Dean chuckled and wiped away tears.

They arrived at their hotel, checked in and put their bags in the room before they headed to the campus for Sam's visit.

"Well that concludes our tour of the campus. Feel free to explore a little bit on your own and we hope you decide to choose us." The college student giving the tour stated and walked off.

"Want to walk around a bit?" Dean asked.

"Sure."

The later it got the more busy the campus life got. Students leaving classes or headed out to parties. "Dude let's crash a college party." Dean grinned.

"Uh, no."

"Whyyyy."

"One, I'm underage. Two, your mate is a cop. Three, I don't want to."

"Do you honestly think there aren't underage people there. And I'm still underage."

"Exactly. So let's just go back to the hotel and get food. I'm starving."

"You're no fun." Dean huffed. They made their way back to the parking lot when they came across a bunch of frat boys headed to a party.

"Ayyeee, omega. Let's party." one of them said as soon as they were close enough to scent Dean.

"Ayyeee, fuck off douche bags." Dean responded.

"What the fuck did you say to us bitch?" another one asked puffing out his chest.

"Oh, sorry let me sign it for you." Dean said and signed fuck off.

"Alright bitch. Looks like you need to be taught some respect." the alpha said and charged for Dean.

Panic set in naturally but Dean still held his ground but before he could react the alpha was suddenly on the ground with Sam kneeling on his back.

"The only one that needs to learn respect is you." Sam growled.

"Sam, let's go." Dean said grabbing his brothers arm.

"Sammy, you didn't have to do that." Dean said once they were in the impala.

"I know but he needed dropped down a peg or two."

Dean sighed but chuckled. "You know, you're just a little over 6 foot and I still see you as my scrawny, short little brother."

"Shut up." Sam huffed but smiled a little.

Later that night Sam's phone kept going off and Dean was getting curious and slightly jealous because Cas hasn't texted him once. "Who are you taking to?"

Sam's head whipped up, "no one."

"Uh huh. Who is it?"

"Seriously, no one. Don't worry about it."

"Is it a girl?"

"No."

"Oh so it's a guy. Didn't know you swung that way Sammy." Dean teased.

"Shut up Dean. It's not a guy either."

"Is it mom?"

"No."

"Ellen?"

"No."

"Bobby, Jo, Ash, Gabe, Benny?"

"No, no, no, no, and no. Stop asking. Seriously."

"Alright, geez cranky pants." A few minutes later a FaceTime call came in on his phone from Cas.

Dean answered it and saw Henry. "Hi buddy!"

"Hi daddy! When you coming home?"

"I'll be home Sunday. Can you make sure papa stays out of trouble that long?"

Henry giggled, "yeah."

"Good, can you put papa on the phone?"

"He busy."

"Doing what?"

"I dunno, but I gots grapes." Henry said and showed Dean the bowl.

"They look good, what are you having for supper?"

"I dunno." Henry said again and shoved a grape in his mouth.

"You're very talkative." Dean sighed and saw Charlie walk by in the background, "Charlie!"

"Yes?" Charlie asked coming on the screen.

"Where's Cas?"

"Uhhh, in the backyard."

Dean was getting suspicious about something but he couldn't quite figure out why.

"Can you give the phone to him?"

Charlie's eyes went wide. "Uh, just a second." she gave the phone back to Henry and ran outside.

"Henry what's going on?"

"I dunno." Henry shrugged and continued to eat his grapes. Dean glanced over to Sam who seemed very interested in the book he was reading.

"Dean? Hi." Cas said and wiped the sweat off his forehead.

"Hi… What are you up to?"

"Oh nothing. Just some yard work."

Dean squinted at him, "I don't believe you."

"Why?"

"Something isn't sitting right with me. Why does Henry have your phone and a bowl of grapes when he should be eating supper?"

"I'm sorry Dean I just got side tracked with cleaning up the yard. I'll make him dinner here in a minute."

"Alright…" Dean was still very suspicious.

"Alright, I'm going to go. I love you. I'll see you Sunday!"

"Love you too." Dean barely got the words out before the FaceTime ended.

Dean was now very interested in getting home Sunday. As much as he'd like to go home tomorrow, he promised Sam a fun filled day.

"Dean. Slow down." Sam huffed once he noticed Dean was pushing 70.

"Sorry." Dean started slowing down but picked up the speed about 10 minutes later.

"Why are you in such a rush?" Sam asked.

"Because Cas is up to something and I know you're in on it. I need to know what is going on." Dean frowned.

"Okay well even if Cas and I were up to something, it would still be there no matter what time we got home. Slow down before you kill us."

"So there IS something going on!" Dean yelled.

"No. I said IF. I have no clue what is going on with Cas. If he said he was doing yard work then he was doing yard work. You know how much he likes to garden so maybe he was starting one."

"It's almost too late to have a garden. Why would he start one now?"

"I don't know Dean. Your mate is a weird dude." Sam groaned.

They made it home in record time and Dean definitely noticed Mary's car in the drive way.

"If nothing is going on, why would mom be here?" Dean asked.

"I don't know! She could just be waiting for us to get home to see how things went. You're too jumpy about things."

"Whatever Sam." Dean huffed and made his way inside and immediately went to the backyard and gasped.

At one end of the freshly mown yard was a small wooden arch with flowers woven into it, a handful of chairs and fairy lights woven in through the fencing. "Cas?"

"Welcome home Dean." Cas grinned.

"What are you wearing?" Dean asked eyeing Cas' suit. "Why are you wearing a suit?"

"Surprise?" Cas grinned and handed Dean a matching suit. "Wanna get married?"
