Juto flips his phone, calling Kane. He waits for a bit, tapping on his foot before someone answers.

"Hey Kane, don't worry I'll be there in a minute. Are you at U.A?" Kane asks.

"Yeah, after training we'll go to our parents house to eat," Juto says.

"Sounds good, might I mention I'll stop by the apartment to change if you wanna come?"

"Yeah, I don't mind."

"Alright."

After a few minutes of waiting, Kane walks through a portal with his outfit on. Juto prepares himself, he starts training in the breezy morning. Juto trained hand to hand combat with his quirk, trying to get a hit in. Kane dodges and blocks all of the attack, grappling him when he is open. Twisting his body and locking it into place, Juto tapped out and was let go. Juto cracks his neck, as he attempts again at Kane. Approaching differently and going for the defensive instead, while Kane goes ham on him. He left himself open a bit on purpose, Juto seeing this and going for the attack. However, he was able to twist his body and block the attack. Kicking him away and stopping, stretching his body.

"Good, you acted quickly when seeing an opening. However, always expect the unexpected, sometimes they're able to avoid it like I did. So always have another plan when attacking, predict the next move that they'll make," Kane says, walking up to Juto and helping him up. "Now again."

They spend all of the morning training, until Juto is tired and sweating. Kane never dropped a sweat, calling it off for today. Juto is relieved and puts his hands behind his head. Kane walks through the portal back to the apartment, Juto following behind him. They arrive at the apartment, Kane putting his outfit on the armor rack. Putting his weapons, sheathing them. While Kane was doing that, Juto goes to the fridge and grabs a water bottle. Closing the fridge and drinking the water, before realizing there's someone else in the apartment. It was a woman laying on the couch and noticing them in the apartment.

"Hey Kane who's that?" Juto asks.

"An old friend," Kane responded.

"Oh I see," Juto says, grinning.

"Not like that you sick fuck," Kane reassures him.

"Whatever, you probably are," Juto finished up the water and threw it away.

Kane finishes up putting away his stuff, closing the secret compartment and making a portal. Juto walks through the portal, and Kane is about to go through. Before Kasli asks Kane something.

"Where are you going?" Kasli asks.

"To my parent's house, wanna come?" Kane asks, not fazed by the fact that he's asking out of the blue.

"Eh uh, yeah!" Kasli was shocked by the offer and almost blushing.

She gets up, and walks behind Kane as they go through the portal. They arrived and Juto was already going inside, his dad opening the door to greet them.

"Come in come in," He says, joyas, "And who's that behind you Kane?"

"An old friend, dad." Kane smiling.

"We'll welcome, you can call me Whimbrel," He says, smiling while shaking Kasli's hand.

"It's a pleasure to meet you too ." Kasli shaking his hand, hiding the fact that this is the most socially awkward she has ever been.

"Well come in, it's a bit breezy outside right now, plus we're almost done reheating the food," He says, all of them going inside, closing the door behind them.

"Hey Osprey, we have guests over," Sanon says, Osprey looking around the corner.

"Hi it's good to see you," Osprey says, hugging both Kane and Juto, "And who's that pretty girl behind you Kane?"

"An old friend," Kane says, hugging her mom.

"She's so pretty," Osprey says, examining her, "I like the little cat ears here."

"Thank you Ma'am," Kasli says, bowing.

"Oh, just call my Osprey, I'm used to it," She says, going to the kitchen and checking the food.

"While we wait, why not sit on the table. Give it at least two to four minutes," Whimbrel says.

All three of them sit at the table, waiting for the food. Soon the food was ready, Osprey bringing the food and placing it on the table. Osprey and Whimbrel sit down, ready to eat as they grab the yakitori by the stick. The three grabbed the yakitori and took a bite, Kane looking relieved eating the Yakitori. Juto eats it slowly, taking a deep breath before munching down on it. Kasli looks at both of them, taking a bite and chewing in the Yakitori. It was getting hot, confusing Kasli and soon it got hotter.

"Oh, I should mention it is spicy," Kane says to Kasli, her face already starting to go pink.

"Are you good, do you need to smooth the spicyness?" Whimbrel asks.

"I'm fine Mr. Whimbrel, just wasn't expecting a spice," Kasli says, holding the spice back more.

"Here take my water, I wasn't a spicy eater like he was," Osprey put the water in front of her.

She takes it and sips on it. Relieving the pain, as Osprey and Kane start talking at the dining table.

"So Kane, is she your girlfriend?" Osprey asks.

"No mom, she's an old friend that I haven't caught up with," Kane says, stops taking bites to look at her.

"Are you sure you're not lying to me?" Osprey says, starting to get to a serious tone.

"I'm telling the truth mom," Kane rolled his eyes at her.

"Are you sure you're telling me the truth?" Osprey says, her tone and look getting scarier by the minute.

"In all my life I never lie," Kane, staring blankly at her.

"Ok!" Osprey sits back down, smiling and starts eating again.

Whimbrel and Juto are quivering in their seats, they've seen that look multiple times. Kasli looked at them both confused, looking back at Kane who was calm and collective. Truth be told, she can read emotion from the heart. She recently found out yesterday, although she doesn't know how she got it. Looking at Kane's secret emotion, he was scared for a good part of it before subsiding. Laughing at this remark that he doesn't look scared, but inside he was quaking at that moment.

Kane and Kasli arrive at U.A, seeing that some students are still coming in. They go to the training ground, waiting for their students to arrive to train. After waiting for some time, they arrive all tired. They get straight to the point, training for some hours. They end their training, sending them off to go eat lunch and come back. While they went off, they get called to go to Nezu's office. Heading straight there and entering the office, and sitting down in the chairs.

"Ah, welcome welcome. There's a thing we need to discuss," Nezu says, looking up from the chair, "There are things we like to do today, more disclosure. The USJ, it's a private foundation of U.A to simulate the environment. I would like you to watch over them, with All Might, Thirteen and Aizawa. For you Kasli, you'll stay here and help some 1-B students this time, cause we want to help people with their problems."

"Ok, that works out fine," Kane says, not bothered by the change.

"What about the students that we were training?" Kasli asks.

"Juto and Kirishima will take their breaks, for Yaoyorozu and Mina they'll still be with you. Now you'll have to deal with either four or five of them, but you can let them go to the USJ if you choose," Nezu explains.

"Okay," Kasli says.

"There are more things to talk about, mostly the U.A sports festival—" Nezu says, being cut off by an alarm.

Nezu looks outside to see the press, walking in near the building.

"Ah, it's the press, I would ask you guys to help with that. But your appearance in U.A ground will cause more rise from the press." Nezu sighs.

"That is true, I guess we'll take our leave and go," Kane gets up and bowing, leaving and Kasli follows.

"You think you'll be alright?" Kasli asks Kane.

"Nothing should happen other than watching the students deal with disasters," Kane says, the alarm stopping.

"Well, good luck with what you're doing," Kasli says, continuing to walk straight while Kane goes through a portal.

"Same for you," Waving and going through, going into the 1-A classroom that was half full.

Kane looks around, seeing Aizawa look at him. He gestures to him to stay, Kane shrugging and pulling a chair through another portal and sitting down. While the rest of the students get back into 1-A, and so one everyone arrives in the classroom. They all get to their seats and Aizawa goes up in front of the classroom to speak.

"Good evening class, today we'll be doing something special today," Aizawa says, getting the students to whisper to each other. "No, it's not related to the press issue recently, it's something completely different."

"We'll be doing Rescue Training, so prepare yourselves" Aizawa says, pressing the button to reveal the outfits, "Bring what you think will help, but don't make yourself weaker by doing so. So do what you must, change and get on the us outside. Lunar, come with me for a minute,"

The students go to the locker rooms, Aizawa pulling Kane aside to talk. Going somewhere near the bus and privately, Aizawa talked to him secretly.

"Finally, able to talk to you normally without anyone around," Aizawa says, Kane taking off his mask, "How are you doing Kane?"

"Fine lately, nothing really much to say. But it's good to see you too Uncle," Kane says back to him.

"Yeah I can say the same too, how about that mercenary job?" Aizawa wrapping his arm around his shoulder.

"Boring as usual, nothing but some scavengers,"

"Ah, well you'll be fine. Hey, just so you know, don't intervene at all during the training."

"Sure" Kane putting on his mask.

"By the way, how's Osprey?"

"Scary still."

"Yeah, I don't want to imagine. Well let's go on the bus," Aizawa says, both standing near the bus and waiting.

One by one, everyone got on the bus and left to go to the USJ. Noisy on the bus, annoying Aizawa and Kane. Kane looks outside the window, seeing them pass trees and street lights. Kane is thinking in his head if there will be anything interesting that'll happen, who knows.

They arrive at the USJ, all of them stretching their bodies outside. They all go near the entrance where Thirteen stands, wearing a sort of bulky space outfit. Greeting them and explaining the jist of what they're doing, while Kane spaces off. He has a feeling, but doesn't know how to think about this. Grabbing his blade by the handle with his right hand. They enter into the building, showing the students the vast amount of terrains that they'll be going through. Before a portal appears in the middle, a man with hands on his body steps out. Then, more portals begin to appear with more villains appearing, and a giant bird-like creature is behind a shadowy fog. Aizawa prepared himself, but he and the rest were teleported back to U.A. Kane drops a sweat when he does this, he thought of every possibility that will happen as soon as he saw the League of Villains. He thought of the best scenario, putting everyone else back while he fights. The minimalist casualty that he can think of, although thinking that maybe he should've brought more people. He looked at the big bird, he was sure that he couldn't bring everyone. The man with the hands speaks to him with a raspy voice, scratching his neck.

"Since you got rid of them for me, how about we make a deal," He says, "You join to fight for us, or else."

"No," Kane says, preparing himself.

"Fine, suit yourself." He says, snapping his finger and everyone starts to head towards him.

Kane was serious, making portals underneath each of them and sending them to space. With the League of Villains here, he's not as merciless this time. Teleporting in front of him, slicing his blade at him before a black fog tries to protect him. However, he bypasses it and slices the man with hands a bit. Shocked by this as he tries to touch Kane, but he teleports away.

"Damn you brat, Nomu, kill him!" He ordered, the bird behind him roared.

He laughs as the bird instantly speeds to Kane and punches him in the stomach, flying. With the speed of his momentum, he teleported behind the Nomu and sliced his left arm off. It roars in pain, regenerating its arm back. Kane sees this, confused as he steps back for a bit to recover.

"Hahaha, silly Lunar. This is meant to kill All Might, but this works better!" He says, laughing hysterically.

The Nomu bolts towards Kane, who was about to punch under the speed of sound. He swings, the fist goes through a portal and punches himself. Launching himself into the wall, Kane sees this and realizes what he's up against. He goes through a portal, disappearing for a bit before a bunch of portals surround the Nomu. Kane appears through one, but more came through the others as now there's about 20 of them. All attacking the Nomu, some team working with the others to dodge the Nomu's attack. Slicing a fury of slashes at him, making small cuts on the skin that he's able to regenerate. He roars so loud, it creates a loud pitch that makes the portals disappear and the copies go away instantly. Kane is surprised by this more, maybe he can't defeat this thing like he can defend. So he teleports after the thing stops roaring, this time aiming for the hand man. Stabbing him in the shoulder as they're all caught off guard, teleporting away from being touched. They realize this, warping away from the danger and the Nomu bolts. Grabbing him and smashing him to the ground, not letting him have a chance to get out. It throws him in the air, jumping up to slam him back into the ground. The impact made a large crater, Kane able to teleport away. Badly hurt, his left arm limping and he holds it. He tried to go all out, but the Nomu was able to nullify him by raw strength alone. He sheaths the other blade that he had, dual wielding the weapons. He teleports away and reappears with the intentions and slices him. Teleporting away from not getting punched and reappearing in front of him. Slicing upwards with the two swords, opening the chest and aiming for the neck next. Cleanly slicing through, its head falling to the ground. He leans on one of the swords, panting, bleeding, sweating, he's using a lot of energy to combat this beast. He couldn't find a way to use his technique because of how fast and strong it was. Before being grabbed by the head by two hands, the Nomu was grabbing him? Kane thinks he may have regenerated from the head or body. He gets punched and his blades left his hands as he slams into the wall. Grunting and spitting out in pain, looking up to see something terrifying. There were two of them, both walking up to him slowly. How is that possible, this won't be good.

There's only so much combat with the sword and the fist he knows, he doesn't have anything that can actively help his situation. When he gets out, one of the Nomu's bolts towards him. He was ready, and a big portal appeared behind him. As the Nomu swings, it gets blocked by a clawed hand. Stabbing a sword in his heart and kicking him away, the Nomu launches back to the other. Kane looks up to see a void-like creature resembling a samurai. There was a secret that no one knows, he can access the void. The void creatures are able to listen to him, being the barrier between the real world, and the void. He uses this as an advantage, they both run towards them and Kane was able to grab his swords. The Nomu's bolted, colliding their arms and blades. The void samurai grabs one of the Nomu's to deal with, while Kane deals with the other one. What he's thinking is correct, he teleports behind the Nomu. The Nomu turning around instantly and swinging at Kane, Kane figured something out. They always know where the person is, no matter what the circumstances are. People with that type of quirks have one weakness, and that's being in front of them. He teleports in front of the Nomu, with no reaction. However, it punches him again, something else is wrong. He thinks of a way to defeat it, but every flaw was noted and tweaked. Raw power is what's driving it, he had to find a way to kill it whole. Making a portal, but he didn't go in. Instead, fire bursts out from the portal and sets it on fire. Making a portal somewhere else really far, it puts a strain on him and sees the Nomu roar. The fire dissipates, and some of the skin is not regenerating. Kane sees it, but he doesn't know where a body of hot fire can be enough to destroy the thing. Dropping it in a volcano seems bad, it can escape and cause more problems if he did. He needs something hot, strong, and is able to assure he can kill them.

He thinks about it, weaving right and left. Teleporting away from the punches, until an idea he can think of. The sun. This will injure him badly with the void energy, but it was enough to survive at least and throw him to the sun. He hopes that the damage is minimal, as a huge portal is made on the ground. The air gets sucked into the portal, oxygen going into space. Strong winds breaking the glass dome, sucking everything. Kane grips onto something through a portal, making sure he's not sucked into the vacuum of space. Everything is going on, Kane spewing blood and sees the two Nomu's sucked in. The Nomu's try to escape the vacuum, but approaching the sun ever closer and the sun starts burning them. The void samurai falls into the vacuum too, closing the big portal as everything settles. Inside, Kane is actually slowly dying, the amount of power he had to use is straining him. The void gives a lot, but can take back something with it. Part of him made a little crack with dark and purple energy, although his bloodline is strong. It's also a curse, limping on the floor with his vision being blurry. The cracks start to get bigger, he knows he can survive with medical attention. However, will anyone make it in time to save him, the vision gets more blurry. He passes out from the pain, lying there still.

The heroes arrive as well as Kasli, they enter the building to see the mass destruction. Everything looked like it came by from a tornado, looking around for anyone at least. Kasli sees someone on the ground, going down the stairs to investigate. She can see more clearly, it was Kane and she bolts towards him. Kneeling down next to him to see part of his skin with cracks, passed out. She's shocked, holding him as she calls out.

"We need medical attention!" Kasli yells, ambulances coming in.

The doctors run down, going to Kasli and checking Kane. Aizawa also comes running down, checking on Kane to see how he was. The doctors determined that they needed to treat this quickly, grabbing a needle of a certain antidote. Giving it to him and the cracks stops, slowing down their progress.

"This should stop the Void Plague, I'm surprised he even caught such a thing," the doctor says.

"What's that?" Kasli asks, shocked.

"For most people with powerful quirks like Thirteen, they can get this as well as get this from a certain place in space. As far as I'm aware, he must have got one of the two." He says back, setting him back on Kasli's thigh.

"Will he be ok at least?" Kasli asks.

"He will be fine after some time, he'll fully recover from this whole ordeal. He just needs rest," The doctor says, going back to the ambulance to grab a stretcher.

Kasli and Aizawa sit there with Kane, with the cracks starting to lessen. Aizawa touches the crack, pulsing with energy. He was more worried than ever before seeing Kane, all seeing the destruction that was left behind.

"Sigh, Kane," Aizawa says, closing his eyes and rubbing his head.

"Do you know him personally?" Kasli asks, holding him gently.

"I'm his Uncle, I never say because of the press. The bloodline is his curse, the connection to the void."

"What do you mean?"

"We come from a bloodline where one of our ancestors absorbed void energy from the void. They had a child, which was my grandpa or his great grandpa. This was a powerful quirk at the time, yet it comes with such a heavy price. It takes what you take in return. Even death itself, although this connection has lessened. It still remains in the blood, however in some cases. I had a quirk mutation, and his mother still had the void quirk with a lot less drawback. Juto had void manipulation thanks to his father, so it wouldn't hinder him at all. For Kane's case, he was able to warp as a quirk. Although he got the void bloodline, being able to access the void itself. He was insane to the point where he had to control his quirk, and I had to watch over him. He was able to control it with ease, drawing almost no drawback from the void. In some cases where he actually has to try, the Void Plague is able to get him. In this day and age, we found a cure to help fight the Void Plague," Aizawa explained, Kasli listening.

She looks back at Kane, who's crack has lessened a lot. Smiling, the stretchers come by to pick him up. Kasli tails beside him, all the way back to the infirmary back in U.A. Aizawa behind her and they both watch the ambulance take off, the roaring tire screeches.

"I want to be there for him when that happens, but he denies the offers given. He's afraid to lose someone because of him, so it's the reason why he's a mercenary too. He nearly lost his mother at one point, that was what he was afraid of. Although at first we tried to get him out of it, we realized this was for the best. He liked saving people, but with that experience, he's afraid. Maybe, you can be there for him sometimes. Although with your lifestyle maybe not, but watch over him at least." Aizawa goes in the car and Kasli follows.

They go back to U.A, arriving as they were transporting Kane to the infirmary. Class 1-A seeing him injured and going to the Infirmary. Juto's sweating, going up to Kane to see a bit of the void cracks. Him going through the doors, Juto stands there looking at his void manipulation. Kirishima walks beside him, giving him a light tap on the shoulder for reassurance. He smiles, all of class 1-A going back to the classroom, confused. They all mutter to each other, asking what they think happened and what happened to Lunar. Aizawa walks in, subtle and quiet fills the air as the droop of footsteps hits their ears.

"Heads up on upcoming schedules, we'll be running normal classes as well as preparing for the Sports Festival that's coming up in a month," Aizawa says, the students muttering at each other.

"What happened to Lunar, Mr. Aizawa?" Asui asks.

"He'll be recovering for some time, from the damage in the USJ. It was a battle that would've killed you all if he didn't put all of us back," Aizawa says.

Shocking the students, they mutter more to each other. Juto stays silent thinking about this, remembering the void cracks on Kane. He remembers awakening his quirk, it was cool and awesome he thought. Until years later when he learns his bloodline, angered by not only what it did to his family, but what it did to Kane. Picking his thumb skin while they get back to the lessons, everyone with different emotions insurging inside them.

Kasli finishes training some class 1-B students, sending them off to go home. She sighs, going to the infirmary to check on Kane. Finding the door and entering in, sees Recovery Girl. She walks over and sits by Kane, being connected to a support line to heal.

"Sigh, this man saved many lives, however that's his flaw. This Void Plague is what confuses me, it's only a rare occurrence if one is in a certain part in space. Or he uses the voids energy which is unlikely," Recover Girl says.

"Yeah it's weird," Kasli says, putting her hand on his hand.

"I know you care for him, but you can't deny that you love him. I can tell," She says.

"Yeah," Kasli says, starting to blush.

"Well, I don't blame you for it either. I was once in your boots, it was a person that showed me the light. Once I found him, we never recognized each other. I lost that opportunity after some time, oh how sad I was,"

"…"

"You know, I would take your shot if I was you. Who knows when or where it'll go without you doing it,"

She looks at her hands with Kane's hand, thinking about those words that Recovery Girl said. Holding it tight without Kane sleeping, she thinks about something. Maybe, she can do something for him, a favor.

"Alright class, that's about it for this day. Remember, you have two weeks off to train, so don't slack off," Aizawa says, leaving the classroom.

All the students leave, going to their dorms or back to their parents house. What happened at the USJ was disclosed from the public, so it's like nothing happened. Kirishima and Juto trained on their own, since Kane is still out cold. They wanted to become stronger, but both of them have a different reason to be strong. Kirishima wanted to make Kane impressed by looking up fighting techniques online to learn. Meanwhile Juto wants to get really strong. He wanted to get stronger for the particular reason that he can lift the weights on Kane. He has no drawback when it comes to pulling energy from the void, he just couldn't bear watching his brother can't. LIttle did they know, they were being watched by someone peeking through the gym. Kane eyes on them, watching them train hard without him being there. It made him relieved to see this, they were growing more and more. Going through a portal and heading straight to the department to rest. He was told not to use his portals as much as he has been using, so he goes back to at least rest on his bed. He arrives and takes off his outfit on the armor stand, taking it all off and jumping onto the bed. His comfortable pillow made him fall asleep right away, he was pretty tired after some time. Sleeping for hours on end, slumbering away.

Someone opens the door, using the key to unlock it and open it. Kasli enters through with a bag in her left arm, locking the door and going into the kitchen. Dropping the food on the counter and pulling out some food from Yoshinoya. She smiles, going to Kane's room to see him sleeping. She walks up to Kane, tapping him to wake him up. He wakes up and sees Kasli, still tired.

"Morning," Kasli says, smiling at him.

"It's the afternoon, but morning," Kane says, sitting up and rubbing his eyes.

"I brought food," Kasli says, leaving his room and going back to the kitchen.

Kane gets up, stretching his body and exits his room to the kitchen. Seeing the Yoshinoya bag, checking the food to see what it was. His eyes open to see his favorite food, grabbing a piece and eating. Kane smiling and satisfied by the food, Kasli watching and smiling at this. They chat and have a good rest of the day, Kasli's plan is working.

-Two weeks later-

Kane and Kasli teleport to the U.A Sports Festival, arriving somewhere private where Aizawa and the rest wait. They greet them, explaining the thing that'll happen.

"Glad you can make it, although there will be some things that'll happen. If you would follow me," Nezu says, leading them to a more private section.

Nezu leads them to an observation area with one way glass, across from another one without the glass.

"This section is a secret, no one knows of this area with a one way glass. On the other side is the announcer box, beside those where we observe. You two can stay here and not get notice, while watching from a clear view of the matches that'll happen. Plus there's a lock if you want to have it more private, that's it," Nezu waves goodbye, leaving as the amount of people roared in the stadium.

Kane closes and locks the door, sitting on the comfy benches near the glass. They watch, as the announcer kicks in and students start appearing from the entrance. Present Mic introducing the classes, and they all line up in formation. While they are doing this, Kasli is thinking of something else and gets an idea.

"Hey, why not have a bet after each match?" Kasli mentions.

"How so?" Kane asks.

"Since we both know how U.A sports festivals work, why not have a bet?"

"Sure, what's on the lines?"

"We both keep it a secret until one of us wins," Kasli winking at him.

"So be it," Kane says, inside he's confused by what she's been doing recently.

The first match started, and it was a race. They see all the students at the starting land, all of the piling and wait. The siren blars and the match starts, what was in Kane and Kasli's mind is their students. They want to see how they learn, how far they have come in the past month and a half.
