Cap 15. A coup of tea.

Erron was, again, sitting at Lady Dimitrescu's desk, only this time he had a green tea. Erron didn't like tea as a drink to hang out with someone, but the situation he was in couldn't just refuse the drink and not while the vamp was there, studying him with a smiling face.

"Well Erron, could you tell me what all this is?" - Asked the Lady of the castle when pointing to one of the posters.

Erron thought very well of this situation. "What would you say to this woman?" Erron, he thought well. She had a lot of documents related to him, there were photos, posters and newspapers from 2 centuries past. "Did she collect all this information in 3 days?" "Did the Duke betray him?" Erron considered these questions in an instant before giving an answer.

"Well, they seem to be arrest warrants for someone named after me ..." - Erron Black explained to the vampire woman before being interrupted.

"Erron Black, if you lie to me one more time I'll cut off your hand, okay?" - Lady Dimitrescu said as she looked at Erron with a look of superiority and seriousness.

Erron thought over his strategy again. He remembered that his books were in the hands of this vampire woman, besides all this evidence was more than difficult to hide. It seems that his luck of anonymity with the Lady Dimitrescu was over.

Erron took a deep breath before saying the next thing.

"Yes, it's me. I'm the man in these posters." - Erron said to Dimitrescu.

Lady Dimitrescu simply smiled as she saw Erron recognizing something impossible to hide. But before Dimitrescu asked a question in this interrogation, Erron asked her a question.

"But how did you get all this information?" - Erron asked when taking one of the photos from when he was younger.

"Good thing you ask." - Lady DImitrescu said before telling him a little story.

"Many years ago, precisely in 1877, I was traveling with many members of the Romanian and Bulgarian nobility in America. Unfortunately, a tragedy occurred that claimed dozens of noble lives on a train in Dallas. I would be 15 years old by then , I saw with my own eyes how my fellow travelers were massacred by murderers who killed everyone regardless of whether they were women or children. I was the next to be killed but then ... "- Lady Dimitrescu said while taking a poster of the outlaw .

"... This 'outlaw' had saved my life. I was never able to contact him. After a few years I had found out that he was wrongfully hanged in 1880, it took several years later for I to hire a private investigator to conduct a thorough investigation. And the fruit of this research is here. Now, after a century, I opened this forgotten box until you arrived in town. At first I did not believe it, but the photos are undeniable, your things that my daughter Daniela uses as toys corroborate it. even more, but most importantly, your confession.

Lady Dimitrescu said before lifting her finger to Erron.

"You Erron Black, you were that outlaw who saved me that day."

Erron heard the incredible story of Lady Dimitrescu. Erron was speechless. This woman knew him, well, in part, but the important thing is that this woman was the girl who saved from the burning train.

Erron began to remember that day, in which he and his gang tried to steal the train, but due to fate, they would end up facing the Lin Kuei. All his friends died that day trying to steal the train, he almost didn't count it. But still he was saved and at the same time saved a girl from those murderers and from the fire. But more importantly, he managed to escape with the loot, after delivering the girl to an old woman. Thanks to that misdeed he would make a name and prestige among the other outlaws. All that fuss drew the attention of an old man who promised him "the best reward of all" in exchange for him eliminating some fighters. After fulfilling his commission, the old man presented him with a snake-parasite that allowed him to prolong his life and other incredible abilities. After that, his life changed forever.

Erron came back down to earth, in front of what you could call a "fan" of him. This woman compiled all the information related to his life. From the time Erron served for the Confederates to when Shang Tsung helped him get rid of his "problems with the law" by having someone take his place by hanging. However, this crisis could be an opportunity if exploited correctly.

Lady Dimitrescu broke the silence when she asked a question.

"Tell me Erron, what were your reasons for being on that train? And more importantly, why did you save me?" - Lady DImitrescu asked Erron with great curiosity. Those questions haunted Lady Dimitrescu for a long time, she could only make theories in her mind of what happened, but she now she would have the long-awaited answer from her.

Erron Black responded to Dimitrescu while pointing to a photo where he appreciates with his band.

"As you already know, at that time I formed a band of outlaws. We carried out blows to several banks and caravans. That day we decided to rob the train, because we knew that it was carrying several gold bars. But because of destiny we ran into those murderers. I lost my friends that day, but we eliminated those bastards. " - Erron said before answering the next question with more delicacy.

"And why did I save you? Well, I couldn't let a girl die from flames or a murderer's sword. I took you in my arms and handed you over to ... your aunt? I don't remember that part well. , but I saved you. "

Erron finished. Directing her gaze from him at all times to Lady Dimitrescu at all times.

"Finally, after so many years, I have the answer that haunted me for a long time." Lady Dimitrescu thought before those questions already answered, although a part of her in the depths of her childlike being wanted a more ... warm answer.

"But tell me Lady Dimitrescu, what was someone of the European royalty doing in the not so clean America of that time?" - Erron asked Dimitrescu, pulling her out without knowing her intimate thoughts. She would then begin to tell her story.

"In 1877, the Ottoman Empire went to war with Russia. At that time Romania, my country, was an Ottoman vassal. Several Lords of this region and others joined together to achieve independence. My father sent me and my sister to America for our safety. Other lords did the same. " - The Lady explained to Erron.

"But why America? Why not Germany or France?" - Erron asked.

"Back then, there was a rumor that the Ottomans hired blue assassins from the Far East to eliminate the most important nobles from the vassals. They were said to have a network of assassins all over Europe. My father had an older sister living in America. , so he had decided to send my sister and me to America to be safe, but as you and I know, it didn't turn out as expected. "

"Blue assassins, huh?" - Erron said to himself. Erron knew who those "blue assassins" were, these were the infamous Lin Kuei, assassins redeemed now by Sub Zero as his new Grand Master.

But then a new question arose, of equal importance and relevance as the previous ones.

"Tell me then Erron Black, how is it that you are here in the 21st century?" - The Lady asked the man in front of her.

Erron thought her response, "What the hell do I say?" he asked himself. "If I tell the truth it could interfere with my escape." He thought. But for more lies that occurred to him at the time, ah Erron time was running out. Erron would tell the truth, a half truth.

"Well, I don't know if you know about the China incident some 30 years ago?" - Erron asked the Lady. He hoped that Lady DImitrescu would ignore such an important event.

"You mean the Invasion from the other dimension? Of course I know, I remember the day I saw it on television with the rest of the Lords. We saw the beasts that came out, some with their swords in their arms ... - Lady Dimitrescu remembered the sword that Cassandra used, identical to the beasts on TV, but still continued. - "... and how they were slaughtered by the soldiers and vice versa. I must admit that it was the most entertaining television show I have ever seen. But what does that incident have to do with your presence right now? "

Erron Black was surprised to hear this, he thought in a way that being away from civilization they would ignore this incident. Now, Erron would begin his other part of the story.

"Well, where do you think I've been for the last 150 years? - Erron asked with a smile to Dimitrescu, who didn't expect such an answer.

"After the train, I met a wizard from OutWorld, he promised me eternal life in exchange for a job that was successful and the witch did his part. He invited me to his dimension, and there I was, working for several decades for him. I did all kinds of jobs, assassinations, captures and robberies. I worked for the Empire as for anyone who paid me. Now, after an assault that ended badly, I was expelled to these lands by a wizard that I had to eliminate. And here I am , in front of you, my Lady Dimitrescu. " Erron explained to the vampire in front of him.

"How do I know if you are not lying to me?" - Lady Dimitrescu asked Erron. She was shocked by such an answer, it was just hard to believe.

"The objects that I came here with. The jewels, the books and the coins. Those objects originate from that dimension." - Erron said confidently, also that he would like to see the book if it was really in Dimitrescu's possession.

"The jewels are precious and with designs never seen before. But the coins and books are owned by the brute Heisenberg and Mother Miranda, respectively." - Lady Dmitrescu said. - "Even so, your story is too unreal to be true."

Erron was disappointed at the Lady's refusal, but even more when he knew that her books to travel was not in the power of the vampire, but in the power of the enigmatic Miranda that all the people venerate.

Erron thought carefully about his sharp question.

"Do you know why I am not afraid of you and your daughters, my Lady?" - Erron asked in a challenging tone.

"Of course I would like to hear it, although I remind you to take good care of your tongue." - Lady Dimitrescu said, she felt that curiosity to see that this man was not afraid of the blood tax or the nature of the family.

"In the OutWorld there are several races in that world, some more civilized than others. Among all those races there are some that survive on the basis of blood consumption," Erron said confidently to Lady Dimitrescu.

Faced with such an explanation, Lady Dimitrescu grew curious.

"Are you saying that there are beings in that dimension that consume blood? - Lady Dimitrescu asked, totally incredulous at that statement.

"There are several races with different cultures. From street parasites to warrior castes that consume blood from weak creatures, my Lady, and do you know why my blood tastes so good, my lady?" - Erron asked the proud vampire. - "My blood remains at the age in which I accepted the deal, at 35 years old, but it has acquired flavor for more than 150 years, giving that bitter taste but enhanced and aged by age. Of course, also by the spell of the sorcerer who makes my blood not only rich, but also nutritious because of the proteins and minerals it contains. " - Erron said proudly to the vampire. - "I don't know if you've already noticed."

Lady Dimitrescu was stunned by this revelation. Erron had given her a very good description of how the blood that ran in his veins tasted.

Despite her not showing him that ecstatic face when she first tasted Erron's blood, it was impossible to discredit those words.

Erron continued with the explanation.

"At OutWorld, I met another blood consumer, her name was Nitara, Queen of Vaeternus, a true vampire, wings and all. She tasted my blood and told me what I just told you." - Erron said as he took the first sip of tea. Although Erron did not like him, he had to admit that the honey and lemon were very good.

"A queen?" - Lady Dimitrescu asked with curiosity as she heard something related to the monarchy, the old order that she still misses from her younger days.

Erron Black knew a lot about the history of OutWorld and other kingdoms. After decades of wandering the regions of the great empire, he was able to meet long-lived beings. Perhaps a simple description will satisfy this woman's curiosity.

"Yes, a queen of a fallen kingdom. In this dimension, OutWorld, was always ruled by an emperor, a Kahn. For millennia, Shao Kahn conquered various kingdoms, among these Vaeternus. I knew Nitara as a subject queen to the emperor ago. several decades. I think she still lives these days. I did a job for her, and at the time of payment, she saw an open wound and as if I was her property, she began to suck blood. "

Erron explained when he noticed that the Lady had shown a smile upon hearing the part of the injured chest.

"And what did you do? Did you allow yourself to be consumed voluntarily by that woman?" - Lady Dimitrescu asked when she heard Erron's comic story.

"No, not at first. I punched her in the pretty face. She attacked me with her claws on my leg. And so our fight began. But after several blows, claws, shots and explosions we ended up making peace. She I told the good of my blood and others. Then I started dating her, but after 2 decades she cut me off, it seemed that a member of the Edenian royalty was a better match than a simple nomad. Anyway, ours was always carnal , there wasn't much interest on her part. "

Lady Dimitrescu liked hearing such a story. Not all the time she heard a story from the outside world, much less from another dimension. When that invasion occurred, Mother Miranda sent to call the lords to the church. There was a large television where it was broadcast how the armies of that dimension attacked a city. The images impressed the lords to some extent, but the one she was most interested in was Mother Miranda herself. But that day, Mother Miranda went from having a big smile to an expression of frustration the moment the beasts began to leave the place. When the broadcast ended, Miranda disappeared and did not appear again 2 months later.

"And if you don't want to believe me, I know what those blue assassins are called. Their clan name is the Lin Kuei, they operated as contract killers both in OutWorld and on land, maybe the Ottomans hired them to pressure the Rebel lords by murdering their families, a very dirty but effective tactic. But now under Sub Zero's new leadership they are warriors of peace and shit. Anyway, that's how I'm here in the 21st century, with you. " - Erron explained to Dimitrescu.

Lady Dimitrescu listened to every detail that Erron provided, she herself had come to that conclusion long ago, but she did not have the exact name of those assassins. Maybe this Erron was telling the truth.

A few seconds passed without each one saying anything. Erron took his tea quickly, while Lady Dimitrescu continued to watch him, as he took his tea without even taking a cookie.

Then, Erron got up from his chair, intending to get out of there.

"Well, my Lady. The tea was excellent. If you don't need anything else, I'll withdraw." - Erron said.

But Lady Dimitrescu wanted to accompany his tea with that exquisite blood.

"Sure, you can withdraw. But first you know what I want. Come closer." - Lady dimitrescu said while her fangs as white as ivory grew.

"Oh shit, I shouldn't have told him about the blood." - Erron said to himself.

Erron came crestfallen before the vamp.

Lady Dimitrescu held onto Erron's shoulders again. He felt the warm breath of the Lady lightly hitting his neck, but more importantly, Erron felt Lady Dimitrescu's full lips on his neck, but what he missed the most was that the lips collided twice against his neck, as if It was a quick kiss on the neck, however, the inevitable happened.

Fangs pierced the skin and muscle of Erron's neck. They pierced a non-vital vein, from which was the precious liquid. Erron felt his blood drain from his neck again slowly, like the last time. His blood began to be sucked slowly as he felt how that woman's hands were holding him tightly.

Erron wasn't lying, that blood was delicious. For someone like Dimitrescu, a woman who consumed exclusively female virginal blood, she had the most delicious blood she had tasted in decades, perhaps the best of all. The blood was so hot and with that bitter-metallic taste that it awakened something inside Dimitrescu.

After about 14 seconds, Lady Dimitrescu separated from Erron. When they parted, the two views collided. Dimitrescu's golden eyes and Erron's blue eyes. For an instant, she felt her heart beat faster and at the same time like something deep inside her, telling her to get a little closer to the bled man.

On the contrary, Lady Dimitrescu cut off that moment. She was still the Lady of Castle Dimitrescu, such a thing would not happen.

Erron saw for an instant how the vampire who felt a superior being before him and the other servants, she doubted something.

"You weren't lying Erron, your blood tastes exactly how you told me." - Lady Dimitrescu said as she wiped the blood from her lips with a napkin. - "You can retire Erron."

"Yes my Lady." - Erron said, while he cleaned his wound with his hand. Erron needed a napkin from the kind that were on the tray.

But as he reached for one of the napkins, his hand touched the Lady Dimitrescu's gloved hand. Erron immediately withdrew his hand from the Lady from him.

"Excuse me, my Lady, have a good night."

Then Erron drove the cart out of the room.

Once the great door was closed, Lady Dimitrescu began to smoke her cigarette through her black mouthpiece.

"You are a very interesting man-thing." - Lady DImitrescu said as she smiled at the closed door and at the same time, as one of her gloved hands caressed her own femininity.

"Ahhh"

Poor of that soul that listened to such vulgar sound from the room of the great lady.

Erron Black continued his shift for a couple more hours until the maid Mariana told him that it was 3 AM, so it was time to sleep. Erron delightedly headed straight for his large, unpleasant room. Despite having a computer there, Erron would have no more than 5 hours of sleep at most. So the best option was to sleep.

Before sleep overcame him, Erron thought very well of the words he told the vampire, "Was it a good idea to tell her about the other dimension?", "About blood?" But when he thought about the blood issue, he remembered how she saw him as he told her story, the golden eyes looking at him not with that superiority but rather with curiosity.

He, too, remembered the double clash of her lips against his neck. As if it were a discreet kiss, but the most important thing was the clash of glances. He saw through those golden eyes a flame, a small flame, "but from what?" That was the final question before losing consciousness to the dream.

"You know I trusted you, my reborn sister." - Said a female voice with great authority.

"I know, my Kahnum." - Said another female voice.

"You know the blood of that human better than I do, Sister Skarlet. If it weren't for the new tasks I have, I would send one of my clones with you. But they don't work well if I'm not around, much less on Earth. So I trusted you in your skills and experience with him. Show me that you are valuable to your empress by bringing the conspirator to me alive. "- Kahnum Melinaa said, who was sitting on her skull throne, the same throne that her father Shao Kahn used.

"And so it will be, my Kahnum." - Said the red assassin, Skarlet, before disappearing through one of her blood portals.
