Chapter 5- Reunion

Harry knew he was in a dream, but he wished that he could live in this dream he saw his parents, Sirius, and Remus all together and alive he was in total bliss as he went towards James and Lily, and they were welcoming him and bringing him into their arms and telling him how proud they were of him and how much they loved him. But they had to go now as Harry drifted awake.

Harry woke up in his aunt's house he had absolutely no idea how he got there all he could remember is the dementors giving him the dementors kiss he tried casting a Patronus but wasn't able to all he could remember is a flash of red and black running towards him and casting their Patronus's. He tried to put faces to the two people who had saved him, but he wasn't able to remember the faces of them.

James and Lily went back to Grimmauld place ready to be chewed out by Dumbledore for disobeying his orders and going to see Harry but, they couldn't care less what Dumbledore had to say to them though they had missed out on so many years of Harry's life and they weren't going to miss out on anymore of it. They entered the door and immediately went to the kitchen where Dumbledore was waiting for them. They could see it in his face that he was not happy with them. They took a seat and waited for Dumbledore to start chewing him out.

"James, Lily I am very disappointed in the two of you." Dumbledore started "you both disregarded my orders and put your lives in danger."

"You know what Sir," Lily exploded. "We don't care about your orders about staying away from Harry we've missed almost fourteen years of his life and we aren't going to miss anymore."

"But it is dangerous for you two to go out, no one else knows your alive." Dumbledore responded.

"We don't care about people knowing that we're alive. We care about Harry's safety, and it seems you have failed to produce that." James shot back.

"I'm sorry, where have I failed to protect Harry?" Dumbledore questioned.

"He was attacked by dementors today." Lily responded.

"Things are moving quicker then I anticipated. I am sorry I am going to have to leave you right now. Harry should be here any moment now and you can be reunited." Dumbledore said as he got up and left.

"That was strange I wonder what Dumbledore meant when he said things are moving quicker?" James asked.

Lily was about to respond when they heard the door open and Sirius, Remus and a couple of other adults came through the door.

"James, Lily how is Harry doing we heard he got attacked?" Remus questioned.

"He's doing fine right now but if we weren't their things might've been different." James responded.

"He was attacked by dementors." Lily added.

"Where is Dumbledore headed off to?" Sirius asked.

"He said that he needed to leave when we told him that dementors attacked Harry, so I assume he's trying to find out why dementors were all the way out in Privet Drive." Lily responded.

"I don't think we've met you before I'm James and this is my wife, Lily." As James turned to the two other adults who had entered the room with Sirius and Remus and introduced himself

"Hello, my name is Arthur Weasley, and this is my wife Molly." Arthur responded.

"You guys should go upstairs there's a bedroom for you and we'll bring Harry up to you once we explain that you guys are alive again." Sirius told them

James and Lily nodded knowing that it was probably best for Sirius and Remus to explain to Harry instead of them just suddenly appearing and saying that their alive and won't be going anywhere.

Harry had no idea where the Dursley's were but, he was currently in the house alone he had a lot of time to stew over who had saved him without any distractions. He had been thinking about it for a while when a knock on the door came. Thinking that it was the Dursley's coming back he went to open it but, was surprised when he saw Mad-Eye and a bunch of other Order members at the door. Mad-Eye had told him that it was under strict orders from Dumbledore to get Harry out and to headquarters. Harry was very excited because it was only two weeks into the summer, and he wouldn't have to stay at his aunt's house for the rest of it.

It was a smooth ride to the headquarters of the Order of the Phoenix Harry had no idea why there were so many people coming to get him out of his aunt's house, but he didn't question it. Mad-Eye opened the door, and he was immediately greeted by Sirius and Remus.

"Harry we're so glad that you're here and safe." Sirius said as he hugged him.

"We had heard that you were attacked by dementors today." Remus added as he handed Harry some chocolate.

"I'm all fine I was lucky saved by someone or else I might have been a goner." Harry said as he embraced them both.

"Actually, we wanted to talk to you about that." Sirius said as they sat him down in the sitting room.

"What do you remember about the people who saved you?" Remus asked.

"I don't remember much but all I remember before I passed out was trying to cast my Patronus and a flash of red and black coming into my vision." Harry responded.

"So, you know that two people saved you." Sirius concluded.

"Yeah, that's all that I remember." Harry responded.

"Well, we've found the people that saved you Harry." Remus told him.

"Who are they?" Harry asked.

"Well Harry this may be pretty unbelievable to you but those two people who saved you were actually people that you haven't seem since you were just a baby." Remus answered.

Harry gave them both a questioning look as they both were struggling to get it out who had saved him.

"Harry the people who saved you were your parents." Sirius finally managed to get out.

Harry was shocked to hear this he didn't believe them he knew that they both liked to prank people because he was positive that no one could return from the dead.

"No, you're lying to me you guys are pranking me and it's not funny." Harry screamed with tears in the brims of his eyes.

"Harry trust us they really are alive this isn't something that we would lie to you about." Remus reasoned.

"Can I see them?" Harry asked as the tears were falling.

Sirius and Remus nodded as they led Harry to the room that his parents were waiting for Harry. Sirius and Remus opened the door and Harry walked in.

James and Lily were waiting for Harry in their bedroom in Grimmauld place they were both anxious to see Harry again they didn't really know what they were going to say to Harry. They were waiting for about a half hour before the door opened and they saw Harry for the first time since he was just a baby.

There was just eerie silence as James and Lily looked at Harry and Harry looking at his parents for the first time in nearly 14 years. Then Lily got up and gave Harry a big hug and James joining them as the tears started to flow from all of them as Remus and Sirius shut the door smiling to each other about the reunited family.

The emotions were running high as they were all so happy to see each other again. Harry couldn't believe that his parents were back alive.

"How is this even possible?" Harry asked as he looked at his parents after they let go of him.

"We don't know but, we promise you that we aren't going anywhere, and we'll always be here for you Harry." Lily answered.

"I feel like I hardly know you guys." Harry said.

"It's alright we have the rest of our lives to find out." James responded.

"Can you guys tell me more about yourselves like how you met?" Harry asked.

"Well, the first time we met it wasn't love at first sight." Lily started.

"In fact, it was quite the opposite." James continued. "Our first meeting didn't go so well we were at odds immediately."

"I didn't like your father because he was a rule breaking but, also naturally talented wizard well I had to work extra hard to be at the same level." Lily said.

"Originally I didn't like your mother because she was all rule abiding and didn't let me have my fun." James reasoned.

"So, what changed then?" Harry asked.

"Well, sometime in fourth or fifth year I realized something about your mother. It wasn't so much that I disliked her is why I annoyed her it was more like I had strong feelings for her." James responded.

"So did you guys fall in love after that?" Harry asked.

"No this made your dad even more unbearable because he would always act like a prat around me." Lily responded.

"It all changed in sixth year though when I finally realized that I needed to act more mature around her and she would notice me for who I really was." James continued.

"It was around the middle of sixth year that I noticed it and I realized how much I reciprocated those feelings." Lily said.

"And then the rest is history I asked your mom out we got married out of Hogwarts and had you a year later." James finished.

"But that's enough about us what about you?" Lily asked

"Yes, tell us a bit more about yourself Harry." James said echoing Lily's question.

Harry had to think for a bit on what to tell his parents because if he told them how miserable his childhood was, they would probably go murder Aunt Petunia. On top of that he knew that they had already felt like they failed him by missing fourteen years of his life even though it was because they had died for him. He didn't want to add on to that guilt even if it was totally unfound guilt and something they shouldn't be blaming themselves for.

"Well, what do you want to know about me?" Harry asked.

"Anything, we've missed everything in your life we just want to get to know you." James said.

"Well, my favourite class is Defense Against the Dark Arts, I've been the Gryffindor seeker since my first year, and my Patronus is a stag." Harry responded.

Harry really didn't want to face more questions from his parents to avoid saying something that would upset them, so he faked a yawn. "It's been a really long day so you wouldn't mind if I hit the sack for tonight?" Harry asked.

"Oh, yeah you've had a long day don't let us keep you up." Lily said a little disappointed. As they got up to take Harry to his room.
