Disclaimer: I don't own Arifureta Shokugyou de Sekaisaikyou just like Isekai manga/light novels.

Little did I knew I was sending the exact same author's note in my last chapter. Good to know someone wanted to read this story. Luckily for them I still have another chapter or two cowritten together.

C=C=C=C

The voices in Razi's head told him now that he has devoured one monster's corpse, he should wait until nightfall to hunt another monster, to which he agreed simply because eating a hobgoblin improved his senses.

He replaced that bow and arrow for something a little bigger. With hands that once couldn't even carry a log, he made a giant watch tower close to the town. Monsters like to roam around to surprise foolish people who can't stay inside at night.

Sure enough, there was a monster half man and half spider moving through the grass. The upper half was male with six eyes and a very grotesque face with more boils than someone sprayed with melting acid. It was going to be more tricky than the hobgoblin, but only if Razi missed his shot at it through his watchtower.

"Can you tell me how to adjust my aim again?" Razi spoke quietly, just in case.

"Turn your bow down a bit, and ease up on the string. A bit to the right, and hold your breath." Razi did as he was told, and struck it dead on. Fortunately, it took it down easily. It let out a scream, and fell to the ground.

"Thanks. By the way, what should I call you?" Razi spoke normally, still looking up.

"If you're asking who I am, then I can't answer. But if it's just something to call me, you can call me Atlas."

Razi was finally doing it...he was giving the voices in his head a name, which wasn't considered a very healthy way to deal with voices in one's head. He reminded himself of that when he climbed down from the watchtower and headed to the carcass of the monster.

Although he was tempted to eat the upper human flesh part of the creature, he wouldn't get the full effect of it unless he consumed the monster part first. So he swallowed his pride and ate the hairy black bottom of the monster before chugging down more medicine.

After a hunt, he needed sleep to help get rested for the next monster he would kill. Problem was, his mind was processing everything like him being a very small child chasing after his parents in a bright, almost heavenly like field before he was brought into a big dinner table.

"So, what do you think about your new body?" Atlas suddenly piped up, causing Razi to look down. His body had grown more muscles, making him look like a professional adventurer, not a boy after revenge. He grew about 5 cm, and he felt an unfamiliar energy running through him. Atlas told him that the changes were smaller compared to the changes of his target, because he didn't eat a very strong monster. He also said that he could now directly control mana, and if he had any magic affinities, they could be used without the need of an aria or magic circle.

"I like it." He said, looking down again to admire himself.

"Good. This is just step one. Step two is, like I said, going after those four divine being's hearts. First, we go into town."

"Weren't you the one who told me that's a bad idea, reminding me I'm not strong enough to fight this murderer yet?" Razi asked, finding this to lead from caution to full on war in one sitting.

"True, but your good ol friend here knows that Hajime likes to traverse from this world to another world called Earth to fulfill his Otaku needs and give all his women a joyful day for them-the perfect time to gather resources and information for this first adventure."

The dream was over and not a moment was wasted washing up and getting dressed. Today he was making his first trip to town, and if he ran into any of Hajime's wifes he didn't bring, it would be his last trip, too.

"Relax, he didn't leave any of them here. They're either all from earth, or they live there now. So there's no need to be worried." Atlas suddenly spoke up.

"Can you actually read my mind, or are you just guessing?" Razi sighed, still preferring to be careful.

"A bit of both. So, your best bet is to take some of the monster's materials, like the bones or claws. You can sell those at the guild. You can also register there, making your life easier."

"How so?" Razi was reluctant to keep talking out loud to the voice in his head. If he did it in public, people would think he's crazy.

"For one thing, you get discounts at stores affiliated with the guilds. You can make use of the facilities, and taking quests earns you money. You'll need that to put food on the table. It's also a hotspot for gossip, perfect for your needs." Atlas spoke with an easygoing tone, but Razi could swear he saw someone standing up and having an instructional pose.

Whatever was going on, the voice was right. The best thing he could do now was take the worthless materials that weren't food and sell them to get actual food. The man at the store was a very shady grinning long nosed man with a cloak over him, but at least he gave him a good price.

The guild the voices told him to visit was full of people cladded in heavy armor consisting of spearman, bowman, swordsman and other kinds of weapons. The only ones not there were people with axe blades glued to their right hands like Razi did or carried his newly upgraded projectile weapon that would rival those weapons that killed his father.

Unfortunately, as he learned from the mannerism they used on him, he wasn't going to be getting along with anyone here. He walked up to the lady at the front desk, who was admittedly attractive.

"I'd like to sell some monster materials, and register for the guild." Razi spoke in a calm, yet tough tone.

"Sure thing, sir! I'll register you for the guild, and take the costs from the materials you're selling. Can I see the materials?" Razi placed the materials on the desk. They were thoroughly cleaned off, and well cut. The materials consisted of the Chaser Hobgoblin's teeth and the larger bones, as well as silk from the half-spider he shot.

"My, this is an impressive lot you got here! Sure you don't want to sell these somewhere else? You could get more for them at the capital or empire."

"No, this is fine. So, how much does that come out to?" Razi eased his tension, and had curious eyes.

"Well, taking all the material's cost, and subtracting the fee of 1,000 Luta for registration, you have about 7,000 Luta left. May I see your status plate to complete registration?" Razi was about to give her the card, but he suddenly pressed a box in the corner of the crimson screen. Atlas was at it again, for some reason.

"I see you have hidden your stats. That's not a problem, though! You are now a blue ranked adventurer, Mister Seani." The receptionist gave him back his status plate, which read the following after unchecking the box:

Name: Razi Seani

Age: 17

Gender: Male

Level: 12

If the circumstances were different this would feel good, but all Razi felt was emptiness. The smile he gave the receptionist when she gave him his card, fake.

"Now that we have you registered, would you like to check out our mission board?" She asked.

"Sorry, don't have that in mind. All I want to know is if you heard of any towns rumoured to hoist a divine beast. And when I leave, I'll use this generous Luta to buy some equipme—"

A very impolite guild member cracked his knuckles behind Razi. He reeked of the alcohol in his breath and his armpits were more disgusting than a monster corpse. Something he learned was dragon corpses take two weeks to turn into a plague while monster corpses take three.

"We all are after a divine beast, short-stuff. Do us all a favour and walk away—"

"I don't want to fight you—it's probably taboo to fight in here, but this is all my plan to save this world from a lunatic, and anyone who gets in my way...is a bigger lunatic than him. Back off!"

"Fat chance, axe-boy." He sneered.

"You have a death wish or something? Ma'am, please forget my question. I'll take my leave and ask elsewhere."

"Okay." One word but the way she said it was very… seductive.

Razi didn't get away from the harassing of other guild members. They kept following and making fun of him. At one point, he was sick of it. He almost disappeared from their sight, reappearing behind them.

"Leave me alone already." Razi began to walk away in the other direction.

"Hey, come on, we're just trying to be friends. And as friends, we should help each other out. So why don't you hand over that 7,000 Luta you got, and we'll be out of yer hair." Razi noticed the group surrounding him, and sighed internally.

"So, what do you plan on doing?" Atlas asked from inside Razi's head, not really caring.

Razi didn't respond vocally, but he did prepare his axe arm. "Aw, the brat thinks he's tough shit!" The supposed leader smiled, and tried to grab Razi.

All it took was one swing of his axe and the leader could see who was the dog trying to fight a dire wolf. Out of the axe came a spore, an ingredient from one of the monsters he killed, and soon those spores merged into his face and started spouting mandibles from his mouth and weeds in his eyelids. It looked so ridiculous, but it hurt like hell.

His buddies didn't learn from their friend's mistake, attempting to hurt him with their weapons. One swing of the axe, and the blade detached from his hand, twirled around, and returned to his arm. Both of his friends had their shoulders torn and squirt blood from their bodies.

Razi turned his back on them and walked away. Although he planned on ending it there, the disfigured leader rushed him and tried breaking into his back with his weak fist. Razi disappeared in front of him and reappeared behind him. As he leisurely paced himself ahead of the leader again, from his arsenal he shot an arrow out that he caught with the flat side of his axe, and with a swing of his axe the arrow twisted back right into the heel of his leg.

Razi was peeved by their foolishness. He lost an arrow all because guild members aren't as chivalrous or honorable as his parents led him to believe.

Then something strange filled his senses. He heard this voice inside of him that wasn't Atlas. It felt like a far away cry of someone who needed...help.

He dashed straight ahead, not stopping until he managed to find the location of the voice, a big pile of trash behind a wooden fence. Without hesitating he climbed over the fence into the scrapyard.

Now inside the trash area, he started crawling through pieces of metal parts. It was starting to feel stupid, until he found life with a spark in it. Spark was more literal than he thought it would be, because the life he found wasn't human, it was a female chrome girl with pure blue eyes.

"Wh0-Wh0-Wh0 4r3 y0u? Wh3rE are w3eE3eE?" The chrome girl spoke up, seemingly having a damaged voice box.

"What the…?" Razi didn't know how to respond. Atlas was also a tad confused.

"Why is such an advanced robot here? I know Hajime was in this world, but he never made AI this advanced. Her voice box is also damaged. Hold on a second…"

Razi suddenly felt a pull on his voice.

"Excuse me, I believe you need repair. Would you happen to know about any tools around here?" Atlas happened to know how to fix technology.

"Ye5, it Sh0U1d be Th3rE." The chrome girl pointed towards a small shed off to the side. Atlas followed her gaze, and went right into the shed. He returned with a small toolbox. He set it down behind the chrome girl, and probed around the back of her neck.

"Can you open the access port?" She did so, and the voice box showed itself. Fortunately, it was an easy fix. "So, what's your name?"

"It's…" She held her neck curiously. "Teresa C-47."

Razi thought her name was a nice touch, mixing a normal girl name with a robot name to show how true her sapient intelligence was. He managed to fix the circuits in her neck and close it.

"Try standing up." He told her. She acted like she couldn't understand him, so he brushed away the trash all over her legs. "Try standing up, please."

She was a fumbling mess trying to use her mechanical knees. Razi didn't know how many days she was broken, lying down with trash piling up over her chrome, almost pristine body, but her balance was absolute shit. She was falling back just from standing up.

"Son of a bitch...let me help you."

He grabbed her arm. Unlike his mother when he would cling to her, she lacked that circle of heat in his hands when he touched her hand. Still, she was able to figure out why she was having problems standing and managed to stay still...for thirty seconds until Razi let go and she wobbled again.

This time she managed to stand straight and walk out of the scrap she was in. Razi chewed his lip trying to put together what he did for her.

"Don't see beings like her around here." Atlas murmured to Razi.

Razi didn't talk to Atlas this time. He was on his way to buy some medicine, supplies, armor and then get out of this deplorable town.

"Well, it was nice to meet you, Teresa C-47." Razi started to walk off, and Teresa didn't stop him. First, he went to grab supplies. He didn't even have a pack or bag of any kind.

After grabbing a bag, he bought some medicine, string, rope, a lantern, spare oil, and after Atlas's intervention, a hammer and a crowbar were added. Finally, it was time for his armor.

"Atlas, what armor would be best for me?" Razi never had the need for armor before. As the son of a laborer, it wasn't hard to believe.

"Well, I'd say some of your most valuable skills are your agility and dexterity. So, light armor would work best. As for the material… a mix of steel and leather would work best. Not very heavy, but reasonably protective." Atlas was quick to answer, despite not even having a body.

Razi imagined himself wearing that type of armor. Although it would look tough at first, it was easy to get damaged and wouldn't stay shiny for very long. But since Atlas was right about the monster parts and going into town so far, he decided to buy it.

He paid 4000 Luta for the armor and a few herbs in case he was hurt. Now he got to admire himself in the mirror with the armor on; his steel armor was a big pad of steel with chainmail under his armpit with the back nice and straight.
