So, I should apologize. I didn't intend for Marinette to have so many miraculous at the start of this but, after viewing season four and the movie with her trip to China in it, I'm correcting the error. She has thirteen miraculous in her possession. Ladybug, Bee, Horse, Goat, Monkey, Rooster, Dog, Pig, Mouse, Ox, Tiger, Bat. "Shadowmoth" has two plus lion, and six are possessed by what are now guardians. Cat Noir, Rena Rouge, Ryuko, Carapace, Viperion, and Dreamwalker.
Can someone give me a team name, like "Team Avatar!"

Marinette
A big panda gave her a hug, its warm fur seemed to envelop her. *beep* *beep* *beep*
Marinette nearly cried when she heard her alarm go off. She groaned as she peeled herself from her bed. She shook with a shiver as she stretched her arms over her head. The stiffness in her body had gone down a lot. But she wasn't nearly recovered, using a fusion had repercussions and she wasn't in the best shape when she did that either. She shivered as she yawned again.
Tiki gave her friend's head a hug. "I know, but you have to be strong, the whole world is relying on you." Marinette nodded, "Thanks, Tikki."
She looked over to see the quami studying the miraculous on the table next to the hiding place of the miraculous box. Marinette was surprised to find none of them had touched it yet.
Marinette clipped it to her shirt, tapping it with a finger, "hmm, it's not awake yet."
She removed it and put it in a drawer, "We'll worry about it later, he didn't say we had to use it just that they had to give it to us."
Marinette found Zoé refilling her coffee downstairs, a banana muffin hanging from her mouth. Zoé wove hello excitedly. After almost spilling her coffee, spoke "Hey Marinette! I sold a painting at the park yesterday. Oh, and the blueberry muffins at Meilleur Ami Bakery taste like sawdust. I spit it out and came straight here. Like in the shop." "She's after my heart" commented Tom. Marinette made a calming gesture, "Slow down I just got up, we're not even open."
Tom positioned Marinette past the counter, so he could continue his work, without risk of his daughter accidently pretending to be a ghost, "You're behind! Zoé flipped the sign when I let her in." Marinette poured a cup of coffee smiling like a zombie that found a brain, while her dad put a tray in the oven. Zoé sat down at a table, pulling out her sketchpad, "Can't wait to help test these macarons."
Tom Dupain-Cheng beamed with pride, "Dupain-Cheng Bakery home the top fifty macarons in Paris," He sniffed wiping away a tear, "It's going to be beautiful."
Rose was the second taste tester to arrive at the bakery, hanging off Prince Ali's arm, smiling like Christmas came early and Santa had dropped off Prince Fabulous He and world peace on her doorstep.
Marinette didn't need to introduce herself, Rose did it for her in a fraction of the time. "This is Marinette, she's a fashion designer, her parents own this bakery, she's really nice too. Oh, and this is Zoé she's from America, she's an artist but I haven't known her that long."
Marinette noted that Ali and Rose looked like they were the two happiest people in Europe right now, probably including the Quami eating macarons upstairs.
Rose gave the most innocent look Zoé had ever seen when she asked: "We're friends right?" She couldn't say no to that face, not that she wanted to. "Yeah, just uh, what's your name again?" "I'm Rose and this is my boyfriend, Prince Ali of Achu."
Zoé was dumbfounded, she turned to Marinette, "Am I being punked?"
"Oh! Is Lila coming? I really wanted to introduce her since she didn't get to meet him when she was in Achu." Marinette covered Rose's mouth, "Rose, I love you, but I'm going to need you to dial it down for about fifteen minutes." Rose nodded and whispered, "Yeah, I can do that."
"Lila isn't allowed in my house." "Oh, I invited Chloé is that okay?"
The first tray of macarons was done by the time Nino and Alya arrived. Nino was trying not to run into the store. "Where we at?" He asked.
"Five types of strawberry and they're all the same." Deadpanned the American.
"They are not!" exclaimed Marinette then continued, "We're aging the egg whites for different amounts of time, and for the filling were using Italian meringue buttercream, French buttercream, and whipped ganache, with different strawberry flavors. Jam and puree are different!"
Marinette explained pointing to each row of the tray in front of them.
"And all of these were made on Friday. Because letting them sit in a fridge for a few days helps with the texture."
Zoé laughed, "I was joking… I like that one the best."
Alya gave Mrs. Dupain-Cheng a hug before joining everyone in the sitting area, then asked, "Who's this?" Rose lit up Like Doctor Who when someone says: 'It's bigger on the inside!'
"This is my boyfriend, Ali" she exclaimed, not dialing back her excitement anymore.
Alya and Nino shook his hand in surprise while Rose explained everything about them faster than a Fandom page. "It's a pleasure to meet you both." He spoke formally but his expression was earnest. Luka and Juleka arrived next, waving greeting, though Juleka was trying to hide from view behind her brother. She sat next to Rose, and Luka sat across from Nino.
Marinette set down another tray, "Okay so this tray is chocolate flavored, they'll have the most identifiable differences." Everyone started sampling. Zoé nodded, "Yeah, the dark chocolate is the winner here, it tastes so fancy."
Adrien and Kagami entered the bakery while Marinette scribbled everyone's responses, "Oh hey guys, we uh…You guys are going to have to catch up."
Adrien smiled warmly, "I got here late so I would miss a few flavors on purpose, if I eat too many macarons I'll get in trouble."
"Of course, I thought of that that's why these are mini macarons. That way you can try three times as many flavors." "Wow! Thanks Marinette you're the best!"
They hugged in greeting, Marinette hugged the Japanese girl in turn who awkwardly returned the embrace, "Thanks for coming Kagami, we don't hang out enough." "If that was true you should have invited me yourself."
Marinette paused, "Oh, well I invited my entire class already, so I thought more people were coming."
Alya turned up the tv, "Is considered at large, and if seen should not be approached."
"Guys I think King Pride is getting a sequel." Everyone's attention turned to the screen.
"Jarrod Seid," (Jair-odd-Sah-eed) (I think. It was listed as a Moroccan surname.)
"Is at large, a wanted criminal that used the lion miraculous to attempt to kill Ladybug, Cat Noir, and a number of other Parisian superheroes, and is suspected of working with the infamous Supervillain Hawkmoth. As well as what is believed to be an akumatized elderly store owner of, Fu's massage shop."
Adrien scoffed, "He doesn't have the lion miraculous he's just…" he paused to read the prompter giving his description, "1930 mm, 103 kg superhuman athlete?" Adrien stared incredulously, "Okay he might be an issue."
"Quiet!" shouted Alya. "-hospitalized three officers in his escape. If you have any information on this individual call the hotline on the screen now. Deputy Raincomprix, had this to say." The image of the news anchor was replaced with Roger Raincomprix, at a podium, "Without magic powers, Seid is just a thug, he won't evade us for long."
Alya tuned down the volume on the tv, "Do you guy think Ladybug and Cat Noir are going to go after him." "Why would they?" asked Nino, "They fight supervillains. He's just a guy now."
Marinette thought for moment, if he doesn't have a miraculous or a 'monsterous' she corrected in her head, that's what the vampire had called it. Then the police could stop him.
"Roger-Cop isn't exactly known for his expert detective work." Commented Luka.
"If he's bad at his job; why is he a police officer?" Ali asked.
"You can't fire someone just because he's bad at his-" Rose stopped mid-sentence, "Oh."
Ali didn't press the question further, so Marinette spoke up, "He's not a detective. That's someone else's job."
Ali sensing the tone shift uncomfortably, changed the subject, "Are miraculous rare?" asked Ali, "And where do they come from?" Rose hesitated to say anything, then looked over at Alya, "I don't know as much about it as Alya. Why don't you explain?"
Alya nodded, "Yeah ok. We don't know how many there are, or how they were made. Only that they're very powerful magic artifacts, and that they are very old, but we do know that the Chinese Zodiac is representative of twelve of the miraculous, and at least seven others existed alongside them. A lion invites the possibility of another set. It's possible that even Ladybug and Cat Noir have no idea how many there are."
Alya was being careful too, Marinette noticed. Neither of them gave information they learned firsthand.
Ali smiled, "Well that is strange. A panda couldn't be found outside of China, but China doesn't have lions, or blue peacocks."
Marinette wondered herself why a ladybug and a black cat were the imagery for the two most powerful beings in the universe, she wasn't desperate enough for answers to go ask Tikki though.
Alya shrugged, "Tons of people have been asking those kinds of questions since the beginning. It's all on my blog," then popped a macaron into her mouth.
Ali smiled, "I'll give it a look."
A few hours later, Marinette handed off all the notes to her dad and said goodbye to her friends. Everyone cleared out until it was just Marinette and Alya. Marinette led her friend upstairs. The remaining quami weren't making any trouble.
Trixx started eating macarons while Marinette asked, "Do you guys know who made the miraculous?"
The quami gave various responses of shrugs and headshakes, Tikki spoke, "It was a wizard but there isn't a quami in existence that could remember much of anything about that."
Sass shook his head, "Miraculousss weren't created all at oncce, neither were the quami, and every quami didn't ever get a miraculousss. You need to undersstand, not every quami was wanted for a miraculous. For example, a miraculous of intellect or dissscovery wouldn't matter if a quami of knowledge existed beforehand."
"But that doesn't mean those quami don't exist" completed Tikki.
Xuppu scoffed, "I don't know why you care. Almost all miraculous were destroyed by Master Fu."
"He only escaped with one box." Added Longg, "Which means any miraculous gathered there are gone. And there isn't anyone alive that can confirm how many or which ones were there. Let alone which ones were missing."
Marinette's shoulders slumped, "So we have no way of knowing which miraculous are still in the wild or what they do."
Lila pat Marinette on her back, "Hey relax girl, it's not like you have the time or resources to go find them all anyway."
"I know… it's just frustrating, this creepy old wizard comes out of nowhere. King Pride, and a damn vampire, show up, and I'm still not sure about Dreamwalker, I can't figure out anything!"
Alya made a calming motion, "We stopped King Pride, he's just a guy now." "And now Hawkmoth has three miraculous!" the blue-nette interjected. Marinette refrained from punching anything, making her parents concerned didn't help anything. Instead, her nostrils flared as she fumed with rage.
Alya pulled her friend into a hug, "You're mad at yourself, it's okay. We had too many bad guys this time. Hawkmoth won't risk losing it, and he won't fight us himself not without serious backup." Alya pulled away to lock eyes, with her friend, "Hey, we're superheroes! Don't worry about it."
"He'd need Mayura back unless he's dumb, enough to fuse three miraculous, 'King Shadowmoth' sounds so dumb." She said it in a sarcastic tone that got a chuckle from Marinette.
"If he tries that, we won't see any akuma for about two weeks," said Marinette analytically.
"Here's hoping" responded the girl.
I had some other ideas for this chapter, but I don't like Lila enough. Thanks for Reading!
*Investigation Notes*
Achu is somewhere in North Africa judging by Prince Ali's skin and eye color and ties with France. Morocco/Northern Algeria/ Tunsenia. Achu is not Morocco because Nino's ethnicity is listed as Moroccan- French. Due to the presence of a royal family, it is likely to historically date back to before WW 1, as there are few monarchies were founded after that point Due to Communism versus Capitalism. That's everything I could reasonably think to conclude. So, if anyone has a head cannon on that regard, I'd love to hear it. Review or Pm and I will get back to you.
