Topher was standing right in front of a large spooky manor, which quite frankly didn't look to have been there prior. He smirked slightly at the camera "Velcome back to another episode of Arcade" Topher spoke with a stereotypical vampiric voice.

"Last time our contestants competed in VR once again to a setting in both the plains and city" the screen showed the contestants being launched by slingshot and then rolling a ball around different parts of the city.

"But, in the end, the Raccoons lost once again. Resulting in the elimination of their friendly gal. Primarily thanks to none other than our local scam artist"

Camila was shown smiling confidently toward Ian before walking away from him.

"But zat was last time. And ze bigger they are the harder they fall. So join me in today's spook-filled episode of Total Drama Arcade!"

Intro Starts

"Dear Mom and Dad, I'm Doin' Fine," Topher and Nelly stood at the front of the island, with the nurse rapidly measuring Topher's limbs and where his organs should be.

"You guys are on my mind." The camera zoomed past the two hosts to an abandoned-looking city. In the middle of the plaza was a giant pool that the camera dove into. At the bottom, Dylan was trying to pull a chest up to the surface.

"You asked me what I wanted to be And now I think the answer is plain to see," Dylan felt someone tapping her on the shoulder. She turned around, only for Ian to come out of nowhere and swim away with the chest. Bubbles floated up to the surface, where Bobby floated on a raft. Bobby looked nervous about the water.

"I wanna be famous!" On land, Colmillo was holding Mitch in a chokehold as the writer desperately tried tapping out.

"I wanna live close to the sun," in one of the abandoned buildings Camila was waving her hands around mystically over a crystal ball as Marty just stared past it and at her chest. Veronica meanwhile just crossed her arms skeptically.

"Go pack your bags, 'cause I've already won," inside the crystal ball Camila saw Ellis just having a casual friendly conversation with Thomas whose fingers were crossed behind his back.

"Everything to prove, nothing in my way" past the duo, Michael and Mimos were sitting on the ground in the middle of nowhere just enjoying some peace until Vinnie fell down on top of him with a beehive in her hands.

"I'll get there one day" past them Matt was using his walking stick to walk around when Vinnie ran past him with the bee nest in her hands while dragging Micheal behind her. Matt fell to the ground as the bees quickly swarmed him.

"Cause I wanna be famous!" back in the abandoned city Mitzy and Tess were lying on the ground, smiling to themselves as they drew a comic. Liz looked down at her work and gave her a thumbs-up before feeling Bailey hug her from behind. Making blood come from her nose. However, Maxine came in and stomped on her paper

"Na na na na na na na na" in one of the buildings Therion and Charlotte playing a game in a room before Charlotte laughed confidently once beating the gamer.

"I wanna be, I wanna be, I wanna be famous" Walter was looking around the dock to the island, as he walked he could see some footsteps on the ground as he slowly followed them. As he got closer to the camera he flashed a flashlight at the camera.

"I wanna be, I wanna be, I wanna be famous" The light from the flashlight turned to the moon as it slowly moved down to the cast. Jaz and Antoinette sitting together by the fire. Jaz saw the camera on them and quickly pushed Antoinette out of the way, trying to get the camera to focus on her before the other girl pushed her right back. The other contestants slowly whistled.

Intro Ends

It was early in the morning, well before most of the contestants felt the need to wake up. Even the plaza below their dormitory was peaceful, not a single bird was even chirping.

On the top of their dormitory, Colmillo was by herself with a few weights she must have happened upon. Currently, she was sitting on the ledge while curling a 30lb weight.

While she was distracted by her weight, she could hear someone slowly stepping up the stairs. The wrestler smirked as she dropped her weight and practically sprinted to the stairs with a wide smirk on her face "I see someone has come to challenge me! Don't think just because it's early I'll let you take me down though!"

As she looked down the stairs she could see Therion quietly looking toward her "Look, Colmillo, I'm not really here to fight you. I just wanted to talk"

"Why would we do that? If you have something to say you can just show it through your fists!"

"That's partly why I'm here" he murmured.

She looked at him and could see he had a pretty serious expression "Ugh, fine" she relented "But we have to talk during my weight session. I'm not wasting valuable muscle mass time"

"Fine" he shrugged as he followed her onto the top of the building and took the smallest weight she had lying around, which was a 20.

"So what did you need?" She went back to doing what she was doing prior.

"I kinda wanted to talk about yesterday" Therion started while barely paying attention to his curling "I'm kind of worried about your social game. Everyone was pissed at you after our last challenge, and when we lose I think it's a likely vote for you or Mitch going home"

"What? Why would they vote for me?" She sounded genuinely surprised "I carried us last time!"

"After crushing everyone without asking" Therion deadpanned "I just want you to be aware that the team is upset at you. So maybe you can do something to avoid getting yourself eliminated"

"Oh, I get it" Colmillo smirked at him "You're trying to make me go easier so you can actually compete with me right? You should've just said so!"

"That's not really-"

"No need to be shy about it" she grinned while leaning closer to the edge "But sorry I don't go easier. I'm always going all out to win!"

"Right… I should have realized this wasn't going to go anywhere" the gamer sighed softly "Sorry for taking up your time then"

"Don't worry about it. But just be prepared for me to show you up just like yesterday!" She smirked while moving her fist closer to him for a fist bump.

"I'll count on it" he deadpanned while moving his fist to fistbump her back, however, she moved her fist out of the way to sock him in the arm.

Confessional: Therion

He quietly rubbed his arm with a slightly uncomfortable look "Don't get me wrong, Colmillo honestly seems like a fine enough person. She can be a bit rude or violent, but she has something I can appreciate" he smiled.

"Do you have a thing for muscles!?" He can hear Thomas yell from outside the confessional.

"Wha-" he blushed slightly and looked more flustered than he had shown for other emotions "I just like how forward and honest she is. I mean, she looks like the type of person who would yell any of their inner thoughts or opinions without a care in the world" he joked.

XXX

Therion spent most of his morning just working out with Colmillo. Slowly everyone started getting up and going about their business. Mitzy however was sleeping in as most of her teammates went away. With the exception of her small gremlin of a teammate who slowly snuck closer to her.

Mitzy stirred in her sleep as she rolled over and opened her eyes, she could see Maxine staring into her eyes with a stern expression.

"...Need something Maxy?" Mitzy asked awkwardly.

"Yes, Marty and I are having a meeting of the minds yet you haven't shown up yet!"

"Did… you tell me about it?"

"No, but a good minion would know of our schemes!" Maxine stood up so they weren't face to face.

The comic geek slowly rubbed her eyes as she leaned up "Ok, where are we meeting for this then?"

"Follow me, minion, I'll show you what I have in store" the little villain stated proudly while leading her along.

Confessional: Mitzy

"I really don't know why I'm following behind Maxine" she still looked tired as she yawned softly "But I think I've come to accept that. While Maxine may be over the top evil, there's a lot worse subtle villainy around. Well, Colmillo might not be a subtle villain but she's… something"

XXX

Mitzy followed behind Maxine as she meets up with Marty playing with his camera. "Oh, you're both here" he smiled "so how are we going about this threeway- discussion"

Mitzy couldn't stop herself from sighing. "We're here to discuss the plans for our team of future victims!" Maxine smiled manically "And seeing as you two were the most willing to work alongside me I decided I shall spare you and keep you around until the final three" she crossed her arms "you both may thank me"

"I already knew you were wanting us in an alliance" Mitzy mused "I mean, I think you even asked me to join not too long ago. But I'm glad you chose to include me. There are some people on this team that I feel will try taking advantage of us to get further"

Marty just looked at her "I didn't suspect you to be the strategic type"

She almost immediately shook her head "I'm not that strategic or anything. I just hate watching this show when people like Lightning make it so far into the game you get what I mean?"

Marty nodded slightly as a small smirk formed on his face "I never said this before or anything, but I like that dyed hair you have. It really brings out your eyes" he leaned slightly closer.

Mitzy blushed faintly "Well, uh, thank you, Marty"

While the two of them talked Maxine glanced toward her dyed pink hair "I didn't expect one of my minions to be such a degenerate. Do you have a thing for dyed hair or something?"

Marty shrugged "Some people can pull them off really well"

Maxine quietly stroked her pink hair before Mitzy and Marty continued to talk about who Mitzy wanted to be sent home, specifically talking about Colmillo and Ian in her little spiel.

But Maxine wasn't really paying attention to much of it anymore.

Confessional: Maxine

"It's good to see my minions are getting along, as their master it's good to know that they won't be fighting over my attention the whole time… but I'm somewhat disappointed they won't be fighting over my attention. Evil doesn't need attention or anything, however. It's not like I formed this alliance so those two could watch my mastery in real-time. Mitzy may be a problem though, seeing as they were talking about who she wanted gone in my alliance"

The day passed along for all of the contestants. Just spending it actually enjoying their warm sunny vacation to the middle of the ocean. As night slowly creaked in, Vinnie walked back from the beach with many of the others.

On the way back she could see Michael sitting by himself while playing with some paper and folding it slowly.

"What's he doing?" Vinnie tilted her head curiously.

"Oh, that's origami," Liz smiled at the bear. "It's when you fold paper and turn it into something like a bird. Kinda like balloon animals"

Vinnie continued to watch Michael from a distance as the gray-skinned kid slowly folded a swan out of gray paper, before setting it down next to himself.

Vinnie almost immediately let out a loud, surprised gasp as she ditched the others and went running towards the origami king.

Michael however didn't notice the bear leaning towards him as he grabbed another piece of paper. However seeing the bear made him jolt back in fear before going back to his usual sad, bored expression.

"Oh, Vinnie. Hi" Michael looked at her awkwardly "d-did you need something?"

She quickly nodded her head "can you make an origami bear?"

"I don't know if…" Michael looked at Vinnie, who just continued to sit on edge to see more of his craftsmanship "I can at least try. I don't think I've done a bear before"

Vinnie clapped her hands together happily "yaaaay!" She cheered while sitting back

Michael just silently looked down as he grabbed a few pieces of paper and got to work.

Some time passed as the speakers suddenly went off above them "Excuse me, contestants. But I'm going to need all of you to come to the northern edge of the plaza pronto. We've got ourselves a challenge that'll spook your socks off!"

"Oh finally" Michael sighed in relief as the camera panned down to them again. Michael had made a pile of origami that effectively covered his whole body with different animals and creatures.

"Thanks again Mich!" Vinnie smiled as she walked away with an origami bear and nothing else.

"I have no idea why she was so hard to say no to… maybe I was worried her band of furries would murder me" he murmured.

Eventually, all of the students made their way to where Topher had told them to go. Finding a large spooky manor that looked like it could fall apart at any point

"This is rather spooky…" Walter murmured while getting a good look at the place.

Dylan shrugged "I didn't notice this before so it's probably just going to be today's challenge"

"And right you are" suddenly Topher appeared before them with a ghost tail.

"Woah" Thomas grinned "that's a nice look"

While most of the contestants were impressed Camila almost immediately hid behind Liz. Though Mitch looked as paranoid as usual at this.

"Thank you, Thomas. As you can see, I don't look normal. That's because I'm but a hologram" he flew over them in a circle "and your challenge is capturing as many holographic creatures as I. The team with the fewest ghouls and ghosts is out!"

Camila cleared her throat nervously "N-Now, the ghosts are holograms right?"

Topher just silently stared at her for a moment before looking at the others "Good luck!" and with that, he disappeared as the doors to the manor opened for them all to enter.

The teams slowly walked inside to see a dusty manor with lights flickering on the moment they walked inside from a chandelier perched right above them. There were two sets of curved stairs going to the second level with a set of large doors at the top, with doors on the sides. On their level, there was a large door simply sitting in front of them.

However, what was the most noticeable part of the room was a large pile of backpacks with vacuums attached to them.

"This must be how he wants us to capture the ghosts" Walter stated while putting his on. He grabbed the vacuum and held it towards his face.

Dylan smirked slightly in amusement as she flipped a switch on his vacuum, causing the vacuum to latch onto his hair and start pulling on it. Dylan's amusement almost immediately dropped as she flipped the switch on it again "hehe… sorry about that Walter."

He just smiled at her "Nothing to worry about" he slowly fixed his hair "Let's just get our packs and get moving! We've got a win going for us let's make sure we all split up!"

Everyone started grabbing backpacks, including those on other teams.

Ellis shrugged "Fine by me, you wanna look around together Veronica?"

She just glanced at him "I guess"

Michael looked at the open options, seeing Bobby, Thomas, Walter, and Dylan being his only options. He gave Walter a small thumbs-up before silently walking backward and away from the others.

Thomas wrapped an arm around Bobby's shoulder "I'll take the slob, you two can go have some fun" he smirked before dragging the blissful Bobby along.

Walter just smiled at Dylan "I hope this goes well for us then!"

"Yea, same" she smiled back.

"I actually played the game this one is referencing pretty well" Charlotte stated confidently "One of the bosses is on the upper floor so we should-"

Before she even finished Colmillo was already taking off through the middle door.

"That's one less headache" Charlotte deadpanned while making her way towards the stairs before turning around to the others who weren't following her "Are you all coming?"

Jaz simply shrugged a little as she started following behind. Since she was the slowest to grab a backpack hers seemed to be in far worse shape compared to the others "As long as you're not annoying about me contributing too much"

Charlotte just silently glared at her before looking at the others "What about the rest of you?"

"I'm going to follow Colmillo so she doesn't bring the house down" Therion quietly started walking.

"And my minions and I will dominate this challenge without your pathetic excuse of help!" She grabbed Marty and started dragging him along, leaving Mitzy to follow behind on her own.

Charlotte silently looked toward Mitch, but he was already long gone. Including all of the Raccoons who just went on their own. Except for Camila.

"Ok, let's just go Jaz" the gamer murmured while walking away with her and up the stairs. Jaz simply shrugged while using her phone.

Still down at the main entrance, the clairvoyant was currently setting up candles and setting them around herself, breathing in and out slowly. While no one on her team seemed to care about leaving her behind, Liz slowly peeked her head out from the lower level door.

"Camila…?"

She looked up after jolting suddenly "Oh, Elizabeth. How may I help you?"

"Well, I was wondering why you seemed worried. It's just a challenge"

"Yes… don't worry dear it's just this manor giving off a very dark, dangerous energy. It's best if I stay back here and help purify the whole manor"

Liz just frowned while walking closer, trying to not look too amused "a-are you afraid of ghosts?"

"This is a bad energy, it's far more than a simple fear of ghouls…"

"So you wouldn't mind coming with me to help take on the challenge?" The team mom tilted her head.

"..." Camila almost immediately looked more nervous before picking up a candle "Yes, I will have no problem whatsoever with that"

"Great to hear" she smiled "I was hoping we could ignore more drama like our last challenge so let's try winning right?"

"That's the plan" she rolled her eyes while following her to the lower doors.

Mitch was the furthest ahead of all the others, walking by himself into the upper level and through the large door. Inside was a sort of dining room with portraits of strange people on each side of the wall.

"I know where this room is going" Mitch whimpered miserably as he raised his vacuum towards the portraits, just waiting for any of them to try flying towards him.

As he got closer to the table, he could see on the top of the table there was a meal set up along with one part of the meal set in the middle with a cloche covering it all. Mitch hesitantly kept moving towards it.

Confessional: Mitch

"I know every horror movie cliche in the book. The moment I open that cloche and see something horrific all the ghosts are going to suddenly appear and murder me in cold blood! But, since I know this cliche, I'm going to be prepared"

XXX

Mitch got closer to the cloche while keeping his guard up. He slowly grabbed the cloche and pulled it off as fast as he could before turning around with his vacuum.

However, there was nothing behind him that actually wanted to hurt him "Huh… maybe I really am being too paranoid all the time"

He turns back around, only to be faced with a large orange ghost that screamed in his face while swinging its tongue around over and over again.

For most people, the ghost would have just come off as silly, but for Mitch, the moment he saw the ghost all he could do was scream in fear like a little girl as he pulled out his vacuum.

On another part of the upper level, Charlotte and Jazmine were both walking to one of the first boss rooms as they walked into a library with a fire lighting up the room in the fireplace. Near the fire was a floating book above a slowly rocking chair.

"Really?" Jazmine frowned while looking around the room "We have a whole mansion to ourselves and your first location is a dusty old library? You must be fun at a party"

Charlotte just silently frowned at her "That's because I know where ghosts hide, and in the game, a ghost hides in this room. If I remember right, I think this one should just appear"

Charlotte and Jazmine both stared at the chair for a few moments, when suddenly the book that was floating above it suddenly shut before being shot towards both of them.

The ghost appeared in front of them. It was a dapper-looking man in a blue sleeping gown and curly orange hair and beard. However, his entire skin was blue, and had yellow eyes.

"I-I'm guessing that's him?" Jaz worried.

Charlotte smiled slightly as she got her vacuum "More or less how I remember him"

While the ghost sat up to get closer to them, Charlotte turned on her vacuum to absorb the ghost, however, it didn't seem to want to go as it held on tight to the chair he was sitting in. Charlotte just kept moving closer while upping the power of her vacuum.

The books around the room started picking up as they collided with Charlotte, however, they were books so they weren't a serious issue for her as the ghost gets absorbed.

"Got one done already!" the gamer girl smiled confidently.

"Gotta admit, that wasn't half bad. I wouldn't be caught playing a game but I can see why you'd like it" Jaz shrugged.

Charlotte looked at her with a tired expression, until she noticed the ground around Jazmine was green in color. "Are you sure you didn't get a bit scared by that ghost?" She joked.

"What are you talking about? Only a child would be terrified by a ghost suddenly appearing." she rolled her eyes "unless a producer is asking me to for my big scene. Oh, now that I think about it I should have tried crying when that ghost showed up to show my acting range. I'm sure the editors can just edit me in when it appears"

Jazmine clutched her fists while getting in a lower position while puffing her cheeks out. Her face slowly started turning red as Charlotte silently cringed.

"Maybe stop with the crying… the puddle of liquids is more than enough"

Jaz almost immediately stopped doing what she was doing to stare at her "w-what do you mean by that?"

Charlotte quietly pointed down at the green puddle, causing the phone addict to jump away in shock "ew ew ew ew, what is that!?" Charlotte glanced at her partner to see some green stuff dropping from her backpack.

"I think it's just from that" she gestured to the small droplets.

Jazmine immediately threw her backpack off and towards the pile of goo "Of course mine is filled with goop, so gross"

"Eh, not like it touched you" Charlotte shrugged while beginning to make her way to the door. However, as she got close to the door the goo started slowly bubbling and moving around. Causing both girls to quickly back up again.

The pile of green goo slowly stood at a similar height to the two of them, in a vaguely humanoid form. It simply looked at the two, not making any movements as the two girls hesitantly returned its stare.

"W-what should we do?" Jaz whispered nervously.

"Maybe this thing is like… bonus points for sucking up" Charlotte cautiously guessed as she slowly moved closer to it.

The blob backed away from her as she got closer, turning its stare towards Jaz in particular as its form started bubbling again.

"Quick kill it!"

Charlotte quickly started trying to absorb it as it jumped away from the two of them and around a corner. The two girls however made chase with the creature, following it into a bedroom with an open window. It looked like a woman's bedroom specifically, with plenty of makeup lying around on the ground.

"Great, it got away" Charlotte groaned looking at the window.

"Fine by me." Jazmine sighed in relief "that thing was really giving me the willies"

"Tell me about it"

Both girls jumped in fear once again as they turned toward the source of that voice. Only to find a slime version of Jazmine smiling at the two of them.

Meanwhile, down on the lower level, Bobby and Thomas were both walking at a snail's pace looking around slowly.

"So Bobby, are your parents as disgusting as you, or are you just a special case?" The trickster asked with a smirk,

Bobby however continued to walk, paying him no mind. "Hey, did you hear what I was saying or what?" He frowned while following closer to him.

"Oh… were you saying something?" Bobby asked slowly.

"Yes, I was. I was talking about how you smell absolutely rancid!"

"Yea. I know" Bobby smiled as he raised his arms to wrapped one around Thomas's shoulder "I'm glad you noticed too" Thomas got a good, strong smell of Bobby's aroma. However, the big guy would very quickly drop Thomas from his hold and sniff the air.

"Do you smell that?"

"You mean your BO?" Thomas kept trying to get a rise out of him.

"No…" Bobby's expression got serious "I smell food"

"Well, I wouldn't be surprised if Topher was leaving some snacks around for himself when he needs a self-pity cry"

Bobby continued to seemingly ignore his comments as he started walking somewhat faster than he had before. Eventually, the duo finds themselves in a dining room, not unlike the one Mitch found. However, this one had fewer portraits, and one ghost was simply sitting out in the open in the middle.

This ghost was very much on the thicker side of things with dark green hair combed to the sides of his head. He had pink skin, a bib, and a red polo shirt, along with having the same yellow eyes as the library ghost.

The ghost was currently eating a large bowl of jello like it was the last thing he would going to be able to eat.

Bobby licked his lips while slowly moving closer to the ghost and took a seat next to him, like the idea of there being a ghost hadn't even set in yet. And once he was close enough Bobby stole his bowl before diving in.

The large ghost looked angrily at him, before snapping his fingers together. Thomas only watched the scene play out as two different ghosts came in to put some food down. The fat ghost smirked at him as he started diving into his food even faster than Bobby had gone.

Thomas stared for a moment, before snapping his fingers in realization "Oh, I get it! This is going to be totally boring!"

Confessional: Thomas

"I thought messing with that big lug would be kinda fun, but I don't think he understands a single thing going on around him. I doubt he even realizes he's in an eating competition with that ghost but that's fine by me. He will either choke himself to death or I can sweet-talk him into being buds so I won't have to break his arm when voting comes around. Win-Win"

XXX

On the same level they were on Camila and Liz were walking together. Camila still looked nervous as she glanced in every direction. She held her candle around in every direction to try to keep the ghouls from getting close to her.

"You're a lot more paranoid than I thought you would be…" Liz murmured while glancing back at her "Are you sure that you're ok?"

"Oh, would you please quiet down dear?" Camila genuinely looked annoyed by this point "I'm not paranoid I'm just showing that my candles are effective against negative spirits"

"Well that's nice of you" Liz smiled "Glad to hear that you want to protect me"

"I'm kind to those who work with me, my dear" while usually, she spoke in a confident or at the very least mystical tone Elizabeth could still pick up the nervousness in her tone.

Elizabeth didn't say anything about this however as they continued to walk through the expansive halls. As they walked towards the end of a hall, they could hear a loud ghostly moan from behind them.

The color left Camila's face as she slowly turned around. Floating away from them and down the hall was a floating ghost of what looked to be a butler in its past life.

"Oh, that's an easy catch!" Liz cheered before running towards it with her vacuum ready. The ghost apparently didn't see her coming as she easily suck it up without any problem whatsoever.

"If that was that easy I'm sure everyone on this team could handle getting a handful at least." she smiled, before turning around to see Camila had disappeared.

"C-Camila?" the Team Mom began to worry as she went back to where they were to start slowly opening doors.

Eventually, Liz found Camila sitting on the ground while clutching her knees.

The perverted girl didn't say anything as she just sat down across from her while closing the door. Silently looking at her while keeping her distance. The Psychic raised her head to look at Liz with a small frown "Are you going to say something lewd now? Like how my chest moves when I'm nervous?"

Liz just shook her head while looking at the door "I'm not too concerned about your chest right now… I'm more worried about how my teammate is handling this challenge"

Camila continued to frown at her "I'm sure you're trying to feel big and powerful. The great clairvoyant Camila who can predict anything is hiding in a closet"

The other girl in the closet just shrugged again "I don't think I'm better than you just because you're scared of ghosts." she chuckled softly "I'm scared of aliens, and for some that would be even more ridiculous than your fear. Besides, you're all about the mystical realm, ghosts are probably a really big deal"

Camila nods "Yes, ghouls are indeed a real danger for those in the mystic arts. They're very powerful, and if they so chose they could ruin your entire life"

Liz just leaned back to try making herself more comfortable "Well… I don't want to have my teammate freaking out all challenge. So we can just wait here until the end of the challenge or until you feel better" she smiled.

Camila looked at her for a moment before nodding "If you say so…"

From the same team, Vinnie and Bailey were walking on the upper right side of the manor. Bailey, as usual, was holding onto Vinnie from behind while hugging her. "Where do you wanna look?" Vinnie turned her head to look down at her.

"U-Uh, a-any room is p-probably fine" her teeth chattered not from fear, but the usual cold.

Vinnie looked around, seeing every door look basically the same as the rest as she walked into a random room. Inside was what looked like a normal child's bedroom with a few dolls sitting in different positions. "Oh, this place is pretty" Vinnie seemed excited by all the pink that was around.

"I-It seems a l-little creepy to me" Bailey murmured while looking at the doll.

Vinnie continued to look around the room before walking up to a mirror on the wall. She doesn't spend too long looking at it before turning around to see the room was now totally upside down.

"Woah, Topher must have r-really gone out of his way to make a room like this" Bailey looked up to see that the dolls had not moved from their position at all.

"Maybe there's a ghost is in here then!" Vinnie immediately started looking around for any ghosts.

It was a small room, so it didn't take too long for them to note that there didn't appear to be a ghost around. "I guess this room is just for show…"

"That's what you'd think huh" they hear a young voice speak to them as a small female ghost with yellow pig-tails appeared behind them while pulling her mouth wide open while shaking her head to try scaring them.

Vinnie just turned around to look at her, but with her expressionless costume, she looked to be staring down at her. The ghost started sweating nervously at the silent glare.

"Oh, you're a ghost right?" Vinnie asked while her mouth obviously didn't move.

The young phantom slowly nodded her head. Vinnie slowly walked towards her, making her flinch nervously.

"...Do you wanna play?" Vinnie smiled while grabbing one of the dolls "I had one just like this when I was younger!"

The small ghost smiled slightly in surprise "y-you want to play with me?"

"Of course!" Vinnie beamed happily "I'm always happy to play with a friend!"

"You're not scared of this ghost?" Bailey whispered quietly to her teammate as the ghost beamed excitedly.

"Why would I be? She just wants to play" Vinnie spoke happily before turning around to the small ghost to see the room was back to normal. The little girl grabbed a doll and started moving it around with a wide smile. Vinnie didn't say anything as she laid down on the ground while grabbing a doll to begin playing with her. It took a moment, but eventually, Bailey grabbed her own to play with.

Ian and Mimos were both walking together through some old broken hallways. Though they were in a hall with a view of the garden outside. Mimos looked pretty relaxed, however, Ian looked ready to punch the first thing they bump into.

"Are you still upset about Antoinette?" The mimicker side-eyed his partner.

"Of course I am! Camila convinced all those idiots on our team just let Camila walk away with a free pass to the merge!"

"Sounds like you're ready to totally give up" Mimos mused "She must have pulled one over you amigo"

"I haven't given up shit. I just don't know how I could get the people on our team to accept voting for her…"

Mimos smirked slightly at him "Maybe we don't have to worry about just eliminating people on our team mi amigo. Those Raccoons have been pretty successful recently have they not?"

Ian smirked slightly as he rubbed his chin "You're right… but which of them should we try taking care of? Most of the people in this competition seem like idiots to me. Honestly, I'd be shocked that they keep winning if I hadn't seen my team yet"

"Well," Mimos came to a quick stop and turned to him "There are plenty of people on that team we could target if we wanted."

Mimos raised his hand to count down on it "Mitch is a horror enthusiast and he might do really well in horror challenges, Colmillo is a physical threat but her entire team seems more than angry towards her and will honestly vote for her any day now. And that team has two separate gamers on their team. If I remember right the girl is what is called a 'pro-gamer'. So she may be a good choice for a target"

Ian chuckled "I never considered you so strategic Mimos, but I'm liking this"

"Just knowing our situation and what we need to do" Mimos mused "Plus my Latin charm isn't quite working on the ladies"

"Well, I could have told you that much" Ian smirked.

Mimos chose to ignore that comment "I've watched plenty of this show before. Taking your biggest threats out early and not making it obvious is our best-case scenario. But I'm more than fine letting you pick our first victim"

Ian just shrugged "any of them going is better than one of us. First one we see sounds like a good target to me"

"Well, lead the way amigo~" Mimos smiled, trying to pull off the charm again even if he knew it was going to fail miserably again.

Confessional: Ian

"It's good to know Mimos isn't just a lunatic like everyone else around here. Even with his sudden change in accents and the like. I would consider him a target because of that, but with how the team is I'll just have to work with him. Then, when we get to the merge we'll talk"

While most contestants were choosing to explore the inside the manor, Walter and Dylan had chosen to go outside to the dark garden. While it mostly looked like a normal garden, there were many different graves set up.

"Topher really went all out for this place" Dylan mused while tapping one of the graves "Dang, it's even actually made of stone! I was expecting it to be plastic"

Walter looked around "If I were a ghost I think I would probably come around here. I mean, there are a bunch of graves"

On a small hill past the graves sat a small doghouse. They chose not to bother with it, as they didn't see anything around it. However, as they messed with the graves and some of the flowers, the two of them could hear a low growl.

"I don't suppose that was you?" Dylan quietly joked.

Walter slowly turned around, seeing large fierce yellow eyes staring at them from the inside of the dog house. "Nice dog" Walter cautiously raised his hand towards the dog "We're not here to harm you…"

The creature slowly crawled out of the dog house, revealing itself to be a large purple bulldog that only growled louder at the two of them.

"I'll distract it, you can try catching it" Dylan whispered while slowly moving closer to the dog.

"Wait, are we sure that's a good idea?" Walter worried.

Dylan however kept going forward with their plan. The dog turned its head slightly to focus on the ballerina. Slowly, Dylan moved closer to the dog, eventually taking a step on the base of the small hill.

The moment she touched the grass the dog's eyes widened in anger as it barked loudly while running down the side of the hill and towards her. She was baring her fangs in a very obviously threatening way.

"Ok, maybe it wasn't" she gulped nervously at the sight of the dog getting closer. She turned on her heel and quickly started sprinting away from the dog, though she couldn't manage to lose it. Even jumping over the graves, the dog simply ran through the graves like nothing was there.

Walter quickly pulled out his vacuum as they ran by him. He turned it on and started sucking up the back of the bulldog, however, that didn't mean it was slowing down as it kept giving chase.

Walter groaned softly before being dragged along for a ride as the dog dragged him along the ground, leaving some bruises and bumps on his head.

Dylan could only continue to run until she eventually couldn't go anymore as she slowed down to a stop at a wall of the manor.

The dog however didn't slow down as it simply kept running toward her. As it got closer Dylan got in a lower stance, getting ready for the impact, before simply jumping out of the way once it was close. The dog slammed into the wall, causing it to crackle open as Walter slammed into it right after.

The dog was finally absorbed by the vacuum as Walter sighed in relief "Finally we got it…"

"Left a big hole though" Dylan murmured while looking into the hole "I hope it wasn't keeping this whole thing up"

Inside, she could see what was a large ballroom with a male and female ghost slow dancing together. Dylan smiled, seeing their next point, before then noticing another group of contestants already in the room.

"They're not evil spirits, so I think we should just let them be" Mitzy spoke to Marty and Maxine who were just looking at her.

"I don't think they're real Mitzy, so it's probably not a seriously big deal" Marty shrugged.

"If they are willing to bow to my power then I may very well spare them!" Maxine smirked before turning to them "bow to me!"

The two ghosts however ignored her, just continuing to dance with each other.

"How dare- listen when your future master is talking to you!" Maxine threatened again but was only met with the same response.

Maxine grabbed her vacuum and tried to suck them up, however, they seemed to not respond at all to the sucking. "Wha-" the villainess looked at her vacuum "Why isn't it sucking harder!? I thought we were trying to capture them!"

"Maybe we have to match their movement to suck them up" Marty suggested with a shrug "that sounds like a video-game-like puzzle"

Maxine crossed her arms "evil doesn't dance"

"Oh, I was suggesting Mitzy and I dance together" Marty smirked slightly at the blonde.

"Fine, if you keep insisting, evil will accept your offer to dance!" Maxine extended her hands up towards Marty who just chuckled.

"If you say so, I'll try to not go too fast" the photographer smiled before grabbing her hands.

Back outside, Dylan smiled a bit in amusement "Think we should just let those three get those two ghosts?"

She looked back to see Walter was still groaning weakly on the ground "Yea… maybe we should rest for now. Considering how few ghosts we found I wouldn't mind it either" she sits down and stretches herself out.

Throughout the manor, more and more ghosts were slowly being absorbed by the different teams. In the kitchen, Bobby was still eating while the massive ghost was sitting back groaning weakly, which was Thomas's chance to absorb that one and the two ghosts.

In the attic, Michael and Mitch had both somehow found their way up there as they both hid behind a table as a ghost soldier fired a bb gun at them, Michael had a lot more bruises on his body than Mitch, since the horror freak likely used him as a human shield.

Michael rolled from the side of the table and shot a plunger at the face of the ghost. It reached for the stick, pulling as hard as he could to try prying it off, though it didn't seem to want to come off at all. The Origami King moved closer and turned on his vacuum, quickly sucking up the ghost without much issue.

But, still on the second level, Charlotte and Jaz were slowly moving together through the hall. However, their surprise guest had not left them and only smiled while walking alongside them. Goomine was just smiling as she walked with them.

"What should we do about them?" Jazmine whispered to her partner, who gave her a small shrug.

"I guess just leave her be until the end of the challenge, she didn't seem to care or fight back against us capturing the giant baby or the makeup ghost" Charlotte whispered.

"Hey" Goomine turned to the two, though she looked specifically towards Jazmine "I know a musical room around here, we should totally go there and improve our singing skills!"

The cosplayer frowned slightly "I don't know why we would need to improve our singing skills… but it's about time someone here asked me to sing to them!" She lit up with a smile.

Charlotte rolled her eyes "You two aren't going to help so fine, go for it. I have all the ghosts so it's not like you can lose them all on accident"

"I wouldn't let all of the ghosts out" Jazmine frowned at her "I don't know how useless you think I am but I'm not that bad at staying focused"

"Right, of course you're not. You're even better at not paying attention and playing on your phone" She sighed "Just let me work"

"Fine, whatever" Jazmine raised her hands and walked away from the situation with Goomine.

Charlotte took in a deep breath before continuing through the dark halls of the manor. However, as she walked Ian and Mimos hid around a corner to look at her with mischievous grins.

"She's that gamer girl right?" Ian whispered.

Mimos quietly nodded "You just need to sneak up behind her and I can suck them all up before they get away"

Ian gave him a thumbs up "I can sneak up on anything don't you worry about that"

"Go ahead and prove that" Mimos taunted while giving him a pat on the back. The thief silently moved past the corner and started sneaking towards Charlotte from behind with silent steps.

Once he was close enough he smirked and reached toward the vacuum, slowly reaching forward before flicking a switch on the back.

Charlotte frowned slightly as she suddenly felt the vacuum begin to shake and make loud industrial noises. She looked down at her vacuum head, inside its hole before seeing one of the ghosts' eyes appear.

"Wait-" Charlotte tried to move her hand and suck the ghosts back inside, but this was to no avail as all three of the family ghosts shot out and quickly tried disappearing by running down the hall in front of her.

"How the hell did they get out!?" Charlotte turned around to see no one standing behind her. She looked at her vacuum in confusion before quickly chasing after those ghosts even if she couldn't see where they had gone.

In one of the rooms Mimos smirked to himself as he tapped his now full vacuum "easiest win yet" he mused.

The people continued to run around the facilities until eventually, a loud whistle alarmed all of the contestants inside "Everyone come outside pronto! Any ghost collected after this will not count so don't bother!"

Charlotte sighed in annoyance, not managing to capture back any of the lost ghosts as she made it outside with the rest of their team.

Now outside they could see what looked like an outhouse with Topher standing outside "Oh good you're all here. I hope you're all confident with what you've caught because now is when we get to the counting and winners!"

"Do you just want us all to shoot out our ghosts?" Dylan asked while helping Walter stay up.

"No, not quite" Topher looked to the side as Insignificant Servant and Nelly started pushing a large machine with all the bells and whistles attached to it to the top of the hill.

"One team at a time will be inserting their ghosts…" Topher slowly looked at Dylan "Is Walter doing ok?"

"He, uh, kinda slammed his head into a wall?" Dylan shrugged slightly.

Topher sighed slightly "Take his vacuum and rest him on the ground. Our medical intern will take him away before long"

Dylan shrugged slightly before setting him down on the ground.

"Wonderful! Now, let's go in order of how you all did in the last challenge. Plumbers, you're up first"

Charlotte started to silently start sweating as a bruised Colmillo stepped forward to put the vacuum head into an opening in the machine. Her vacuum seems to immediately push the ghosts out on contact as a large muscular ghost with blond hair and pure chad energy appeared in a smaller form inside.

"That one was a real fun rumble!" She smirked "But I handled him no problem"

Mitch just quietly walked past her and put his head on the opening as two ghosts came out of his, both looked like standard white circular ones, however.

"Quite a catch there Mitch" Therion complimented the horror fan, trying to pat him on the back before the paranoid man quickly scurried away from him.

"T-thanks, this is nothing like a horror movie I'm used to watching so catching them was no issue"

After him, Maxine stepped forward and put in the dancing ghosts. "Two points, not bad. Finally find out what you had to do to get them?"

Maxine nodded with a faint blush "No challenge is too hard for my minions and I to do!"

"As long as it's not a dancing challenge" Topher taunted with a smirk, annoying Maxine further. "Anyhow, anyone else want to share?" Topher asked with an expectant grin.

Everyone looked towards Charlotte and Jaz, with Jazmine specifically looking at Charlotte. After a few moments, Goomine followed her line of sight.

"No sir" Charlotte murmured.

"Well then Ferrets you can go ahead-" Topher started speaking before Jazmine stared angrily at her challenge partner.

"Wait, Charlotte, seriously?" Jazmine scowled "We had three ghosts prior, how did you lose them all!?"

"It just happened" Charlotte immediately went on the defensive "I didn't do anything they just suddenly shot out!"

"And you were complaining about how I would screw it up" Jazmine scowled while crossing her arms.

"Not important" Topher glared slightly "Ferrets, go ahead"

The Ferrets all stood up and handed their ghouls in. Michael was the first one to step forward, turning in two ghosts at once. Surprising all of the others as he refused to elaborate on how he got so many.

After him came Veronica and Dylan with one ghost and Thomas, who turned in three ghosts all in one go.

"Dang you got a lot Thomas" Ellis smiled "How'd you do that?"

"Thank the big blob" Thomas smiled while patting a full Bobby "He ate one ghost under the table and I took it from there"

"Well looks like your team is at least safe" Topher mused "Plumbers have five, Ferrets have seven. Raccoons, let's see that haul of yours!"

Liz stepped up, turning in the butler ghost; but then Ian stepped forward with a confident smile on his face as he plugged his vacuum into the machine, shooting out four ghosts at once.

"Biggest haul of the challenge well done Ian" Topher complimented before looking at the rest of the team "But if that's all you got your team, I'm afraid, we'll have to do a tie-breaker"

"No, we got one more!" Vinnie called while raising her paw high in the air.

"Well, gonna turn her in?" Topher raised an eyebrow at her.

"Can we just count her if she's standing with us?" Vinnie asked while gesturing to the small girl next to her.

Camila noticed the small ghost and her skin almost immediately turned pale as Liz came around to keep her from collapsing.

Topher tapped his chin "Well, I guess I can count it. But you're gonna have to shove it into the machine"

Vinnie turned to the ghost "Do you wanna go in?"

"Well-"

Ian just sucked the ghost into his vacuum before putting it into the machine.

"Great, thank you Ian" he smiled as the machine started up, causing a conveyer belt to appear as the ghosts come out as flat "This will really liven up my house"

Vinnie silently stared at Topher flattening her little ghost friend with her emotionless bear eyes. Though he didn't seem to care.

He turned back to the contestants "Well everyone, with the total now in, the Plumbers have lost for the first time! Ferrets have also won another round, way to go kiddos" he smiled while shooting them finger pistols.

"Oh sweet" Dylan smiled while high-fiving Ellis and then Bobby, though after high-fiving him she had to wipe her hand off on the ground.

"I'll see you Plumbers at your elimination ceremony soon" Topher smiled before walking away.

The team silently stared at Charlotte, who just seemed annoyed.

Topher was standing in front of the Plumbers. Charlotte, Jazmine, Colmillo, and Mitch were sitting in the second row. In the first row sat Marty, Maxine, Mitzy, and Therion.

"Well, well, well. Here I was thinking having a team with gamers would make this team the easy favorite. How disappointing" the host mocked.

"Don't make me break your spine. We only lost because I couldn't carry us all by myself!" Colmillo crossed her arm.

"Right" Topher mused "I'm sure your teammates are still loving that attitude. So don't spoil this elimination for me and get voting"

Confessional: Maxine

"So, after the loss, I talked to Mitzy about the vote, right? I wanted to eliminate the gamer, the female one though. I mean, Jazmine made a fair point. But Mitzy made a good point. It's very likely someone EVIL was trying to mess with my territory. And I can't allow that. So, uh, I think she wants me voting Colmillo"

Confessional: Mitzy

"That was way too long of a conversation to get those two to vote for the obvious person on the team holding us back but whatever. With the three of us and Charlotte, we should at least have a tie in the case no one else understands who deserves to stay"

He rubbed his neck as he crossed off Charlotte "Sorry, but you did kind of mess up the challenge…"

"Alright, we have our votes now" he smiled while holding up their votes "Now, let's see who we have safe today"

He grabs and throws a marshmallow toward Mitch "You got the most ghosts on your own so you're safe today horror freak"

Mitch caught his marshmallow, before putting it on the ground because he doesn't trust anything Topher would feed them with.

"Whatever, the league of villainy is also safe today!" Topher smirked before tossing the treats at Marty, Mitzy, and Maxine.

"Don't call me that" Mitzy deadpanned in annoyance while nibbling on her snack.

"You may call me that however" Maxine grinned while eating hers. Marty just shrugged slightly.

"Also safe is Therion, and surprisingly so is Jazmine"

Therion smiled slightly as he caught his marshmallow. The marshmallow for Jazmine flew over her head, however, Goomine was quick to grab the marshmallow for her and plop it down in her hand.

"Thank you" Jazmine smiled.

"I really don't know where that thing came from" Topher murmured nervously as he looked at the goo Jazmine. "Anyways… Charlotte, Colmillo. I'm sure you both know why you're here. Charlotte lost her ghosts, and Colmillo is Colmillo"

"So a winner" Colmillo smirked.

"Right" Topher rolled his eyes "But, our last marshmallow will go to…

Charlotte looked more annoyed to be at the bottom than anything, while Colmillo just looked confident that she was going to be fine.

"Colmillo, you're safe"

Colmillo smiled proudly as she caught her marshmallow in her mouth while sitting back to rest her feet on Therion's back "I knew it"

"Wha-" Charlotte frowned angrily "You guys eliminated me over the girl who rolled us all into a massive ball!?"

"Like it or not but she is helpful" Therion shrugged slightly "And to be fair, you did mess up the challenge"

"I didn't! My vacuum was sabotaged!"

"Sounds likely" Jazmine rolled her eyes a little.

"Did- did you sabotage my vacuum when I wasn't looking?" Charlotte frowned.

"Seriously? You're blaming me now?" Jazmine frowned "I literally went off with Goomine"

"I know you did it, you're so lazy you wanted to eliminate me instead of actually try-iiiiiiiiiiiing" before she could finish she was sent up the green pipe.

The contestants sat in silence for one moment before Marty looked at Jazmine "You named your slime version Goomine?"

"Enough of that campers" Topher smiled "You lost your first time, but there's plenty of pre-merge left for you to make a comeback! I'll see you all next time"

Most of the contestants looked annoyed but didn't say anything as Topher continued to smile to himself.

It slowly cuts outside to Mimos listening in on their elimination ceremony. Smiling manically to himself before walking away so none of those Ferrets would notice him around "What a shame to see her go, but sorry Chica. Your seriousness might have actually been helpful to them"

As he walked a large mischievous smile appeared in the bushes along with a set of eyeballs. The Plumbers slowly walked from their elimination ceremony, with the lights of the building illuminating the area as the shady figure disappeared entirely.

AN: Not too much I feel like saying here. Luigi Mansion 1 is honestly pretty good, definitely a classic. I do feel somewhat bad about doing two different Mario-themed challenges already, but both are classics so that's probably fine. It's probably obvious by now but I have a bias towards wacky cartoony games like what Nintendo usually does. Thank you Gemini for giving me Charlotte, she's a fun girl who is the sort of straight-lady I sorta need in my fics with how dumb and cartoony I like to get. Sorry, she had gone so early, just so many good contestants around and already getting through the midterms pretty fast.
