[A/N] This is Cotton Candy's origin story. It is one of the long chapters in this compilation, but it took a lot of words to express the ideas I had about her character. I have spent a lot of time debating if I should post this here, but I felt like it needed to get out at some point.
This story takes place about sixteen years before the Missing Mammals Case and the Night Howler Incident for anyone who is looking for a timeline to follow. I may never have mentioned in my main story, but Cotton is older than either Nick or Judy. I never actually pinned down an actual age for the pink rabbit.
As a warning there will be SMUT in this chapter so read at your own discretion.
Chapter 12 - Hasenpfeffer
Kandice Cottonsworth was having a very bad day. Everything that could have gone wrong today had been utterly devastating. Most days it felt like the world was against the unattractive bunny, but today, the paw of fate was excessively harsh.
It had all started when her alarm failed to wake her on time and she immediately knew she would miss the city bus from her family's home in the Meadowlands to Zootopia University downtown. She barely had time to brush out her cream colored fur, and one spot on top of her head decided to stick off in a different direction no matter how much she brushed at it.
Finally giving up on the rebellious spot of fur, she quickly finished her morning prep. Wearing her plain grey sweater and matching skirt, she rushed out the door before her mother reminded her that she had forgotten her glasses. It took her several more minutes to return to her bedroom to retrieve the boorish spectacles from her dresser. She hated the horrible things since they barely fit over her ears, and constantly fell off when her ears drooped behind her head.
Running to the bus stop, she never even saw the previous one that may have passed only a few minutes prior. Sitting on the empty bench, she waited in the early spring chill for the next bus to arrive.
The bus that finally arrived thirty minutes later was completely packed and she was forced to stand between a ram who hadn't bathed in months and an old nanny goat who's excessive flatulence was bordering on harassment.
She had missed her first class entirely and was late for the second one. Sneaking into the large room and taking a seat near the back had not been very effective. Without turning around from what he was writing on the chalkboard, the economics professor had called her out before her tail had even touched the seat. The entire class laughed at the skinny rabbit as she failed to give the correct answer to the professor's question about goods and services.
The lecture that followed had been horrible as the boar at the front of the classroom droned on about the strategies of sequential labor negotiations and the economic value of grass in the city. When he finally handed out the homework for the day, he had insisted she stay and complete the pop quiz that she had missed at the beginning of the class.
Of course she was grateful that he had given her the opportunity to retake the quiz, but it made her late for meeting up with her friends between classes. When she finally joined her study group in the library, they were very upset at her tardiness. The tall deer named Mandy even went so far as to call Kandice a lazy bunny.
Mandy had been the doe to invite her into the freshmen study group in the first place. The group had been friendly enough at first, especially when they needed help with math. Now that winter was turning into spring, and she was struggling with her own classes, the group seemed to turn cold.
"We don't want a small, lazy rabbit like you in our group anymore," the preppy whitetail doe declared flatly with her arms crossed over her chest.
"Sorry, Kandice," Liz, a well rounded beaver said as she stuffed her books and pens into her pack.
"I have to get to World History with Conners or I am going to be late," stated a scruffy-looking ram named Chuck as he left the table loaded down with a bag full of books. He glared down at the small rabbit when he said the word, "Late."
The classes Kandice had been taking this semester were really tough and she was having a hard time understanding the basics of economics and sociology. Her accounting class had been a breeze, but the others were giving her trouble and these so called friends had been everything but helpful.
With a soft snort, the deer turned her head from the tan rabbit and collected her own school supplies. "We have decided to change our study times so don't bother to come looking for us."
"Yeah," the beaver explained. "This hour doesn't work with Chuck's new job."
"I-I can rearrange my schedule if that's what you want," Kandice cried in the direction of her departing friends. "We can work something out. Mandy please."
The deer never looked back at the sorrowful rabbit, and the beaver only shrugged as she followed after the taller mammal. Kandice stood at the table clutching her books to her chest as she watched her only friends slowly and deliberately walk out of the campus library.
With her eyes filled with tears and hugging her textbooks she headed towards her next class. The hall she walked through was fairly empty so her mind was focused on everything that had gone wrong this year instead of paying attention to where she was going.
Openly she would have said that nothing was wrong, but inwardly she blamed the preds. The change from private, rabbit only schools, to this public university was difficult, and she struggled to make the adjustment. Her inner fear of all the sharp claws and teeth that seemed to be everywhere made her want to flee or left her a quivering mess, unable to move or breath.
She had met preds before, but that was always in the open or at the grocery stores. Her family never explicitly told her that preds were bad, but they had done little to hide their own fears. The twitching noses and subtle changes they made to avoid preds in public helped to reinforce those fears in their children.
The Cottonsworths were not a large family of rabbits. Living in the city, Kandice's mother had chosen to go through with the operation that would prevent her from getting pregnant after her second litter. Now, Kandice was the youngest of eight siblings and even as an adult was still treated like the baby of the family.
Her family was actually quite well off and lived in a very nice house in the Meadowlands with enough grassy land that the kits could run and frolic at will, as long as they stayed on their side of the tall hedge wall. Mr. Cottonsworth was a partner at a successful law firm while Mrs. Cottonsworth sold very expensive paw straps. Due to the family's success they were privileged enough to live in a pred free neighborhood and sent their children to exclusive private schools.
Kandice's first semester at the new school had been filled with curiosity and excitement. She had good grades and never missed a single class. In that very first week, she had even been invited to join a study group by the nice whitetailed deer that sat next to her in math class. But soon enough, the fear of predators replaced the newness of everything.
It became a real problem after the winter break when she was assigned a whole new set of classes. None of her study friends were taking any of the same courses this semester and it felt like her new classes were pred heavy. In her main business class, she felt like she was the only prey mammal in a room full of preds. Even the teacher was a vicious looking tiger with a tendency to bare her deadly fangs whenever she talked about mission statements.
Her grades had drastically dropped as she became more aware of the dangerous preds around her. She was even having trouble sleeping these days, with nightmares filling her dreams most nights after class. Last night had been particularly horrible and she was sure that she had slept through her alarm after tossing and turning all night.
Now her only friends had kicked her out of their little group and she knew that her parents would be furious when they found out that she was failing most of her classes. They would probably cut her off and cancel her college funds when they learned how bad her grades were. All of these thoughts and more were running through her mind as she tearfully trudged down the hall to her next class.
Tears began to stream down her cheeks as she thought about giving up on school, her so-called friends and dealing with all these horrid predators. Maybe she could get hit by the bus on her way home and no longer have to be such a disappointment to her family.
At that moment she walked straight into the one mammal that she feared the most. He was a short badger with black fur in the front and a thick white stripe covering the top of his head and his entire back, making him look almost like a skunk with a much shorter tail.
Wherever Kandice came on campus this semester she would spot him watching her hungrily. She didn't feel like he was following or stalking her but whenever they passed in the halls their eyes would meet, and she swore that he was even drooling. The sight of this tough predator made her nose race and her knees felt so weak that she could barely move.
Most days when they met in the halls she was so overwhelmed with fear that she could not look away from him. Her gaze would always focus on his deadly fangs and long, sharp claws while she stood perfectly still and hoped that he would not see her. But his deep black eyes always found her brown ones and held her paralyzed until he passed, silently.
In her nightmares, she dreamt of being chased by the numerous predators from school until this black badger caught her. She would wake up screaming as his very long claws tore the flesh from her bones. Lately the dreams always ended the same, with the badger devouring or tearing her to pieces.
It had to be this very badger that she walked into as her eyes were full of tears and her mind was convinced of her own worthlessness. Without looking where she was going, she plowed directly into his broad chest. She didn't even look up towards his muzzle as her body fell backwards from the sudden stop.
Books and papers flew in all directions and Kandice fell unceremoniously onto her rump with a loud thump. She didn't scream or cry in pain, but let out a soft huff as her tail collided with the hard floor. With everything else that had happened today, getting knocked to the floor was only the last in a long line of unfortunate circumstances that had happened to her today. It was also proof of how much of a failure she was.
"Oh. I am so sorry," the badger cried when he saw Kandice sitting disheveled on the floor. Her small skirt barely covered the shapely legs that were sprawled across the cold, unfeeling tiles. "I-I didn't mean too," he stammered before reaching out his paw towards the fallen rabbit. "Are you hurt miss?"
Kandice sniffled and rubbed the back of her paw across her wet nose before she pushed her glasses back into place and looked up at the mammal she had run into. Her mouth opened wide and her nose began to race as she took in the paw that was held out to her. The dark black fur and the extremely long claws could only belong to one kind of mammal.
Groaning, she raised her muzzle to look into the dark, black eyes that had recently filled her nightmares. Despite his outward kindness, all she saw were drooling, snarling fangs snapping at her throat.
Paw reaching cautiously towards the rabbit, the badger gently asked, "Can I help you up?" With his friendly demeanor he failed to notice how intensely she was staring into his eyes, or how her breath had suddenly quickened as he reached to help her stand.
With her bare legs bent across the hard floor, she gazed into his deep, black pools. She was trapped, caught by the one predator that she feared the most. Paralyzed and unable to move except for her furiously twitching nose and the beating of her heart that felt like a thunderous herd of equines were racing through the dignified halls.
This was the end, there was no escaping. Her legs felt like they were made of water and she could not move or flee from the predator that towered over her. He was pulling her tiny brown paw towards him with his sharp claws and she could not break free.
Her legs were like rubber as the dark-furred badger held her to stand. She nearly fell again, but he caught her in his arms and gently held her against his broad chest. A sharp squeak escaped her supple throat as she fell into his dangerously strong embrace.
Reaching up with her free paw, she pulled off her glasses and threw them to clatter on the floor. She tilted her head to the side, revealing a bare neck to the hungry predator, and cried, "Just eat me already!"
The badger did not release the rabbit's small paw as his jaws opened in shock, "What?"
Her tears had dried with the sudden bout of resolution. "Go on, do it. Kill me!" Her voice was firm and determined with her resolute choice. "Eat me. Take me out back and have your way with me, or whatever it is you do." She clutched tightly at the buttons that covered his chest as she begged.
"A-Are you s-sure?" he asked hesitantly while looking down at the small doe that clung to him desperately.
"Yes," she begged, tilting her head further to the side, exposing more of her throat towards his deadly fangs. "My life is not worth living, so just take me and end it."
Pulling gently on her arm, the badger brought her closer as he looked into her soft brown eyes eagerly and licked his lips. Stuttering to contain the excitement in his voice, he asked, "Ri-right now?"
Nodding at him she half whispered, "Please, right now." Her eyes never turned away from him as she watched the thoughts raced behind those dark pools.
"Then follow me," he replied warmly before turning back down the hall where he had come. With his claws wrapped firmly around her paw he pulled her along with him.
Her body began to shudder as she followed this terrifying predator along the hall to her doom. The fear was gone now but something else was causing her to shake as she raced after him. She was panting heavily even though he was not moving any faster than a quick stroll.
Paw in paw, they turned several corners before they came to a large door. He rattled the knob for several seconds before he pulled a silver key from his pocket and unlocked the door. With the door open, he quickly pulled her inside. She noticed that he was also breathing in quick, short pants as he slammed the door shut and relocked it.
Inside, the room was a normal classroom with rows of small desks lined up in front of a larger oaken desk. On the wall behind the desk were two chalkboards with some faded writing in language and symbols that were strange to the rabbit. It looked like someone had tried to erase the words but had given up halfway through the effort.
The badger led Kandice down the isles to the big desk where he shoved aside several of the objects that occupied the near end. When the desk was partially cleared, he grasped her hips in both paws and lifted her up onto the desk where he looked intensely into her eyes. With his eyes focused on her, she could see that he was also shaking slightly.
"Are you ready?" he asked her almost tenderly when he began to caress her shoulder with the long claw on his thumb.
A small growl left her lips as she spoke, "Hurry up and get it over with." Closing her eyes, she turned her head and tilted it back giving his jaws full access to her neck. "Just make it quick."
"Really?" he asked her softly. She could feel his hot breath on her neck fur as her anticipation rose. "I thought all females like to take it slow," were the last words she heard before something soft and very wet slid across her neck.
A small whimper escaped her lips as his tongue caressed her neck a second time. Was he licking her? She had asked him to eat her and she hoped that he enjoyed the taste of rabbit, but she had not expected such a tender caress. A sharp, piercing pain from his fangs was what she had expected, or the slashing, tearing feeling as he ripped out her throat.
Seconds later his lips met the end of her muzzle in a fierce kiss that left her gasping for air. His paws pulled her head forward again and the feeling of his long claws brushing her skin sent a shiver down her spine while his tongue lapped across her mouth and down her chin.
Squealing at the shivers that coursed across her body, she felt his fangs sink into the fur on her neck. His teeth never broke the skin and only skimmed the surface softly. He was taking an awfully long time to devour her, but she was beginning to enjoy the touch and she tilted her head back again with a soft moan.
"Please," was all she could say when he repeatedly nipped at her neck, sending a string of shrill pain through her body. She wanted him to finish this with one swift bite so she held back the scream that fought to escape her throat.
When her voice returned for a second, she begged for release, "Finish it already."
"Ok," he declared with another fierce kiss that left her lips hurting.
The kiss ended as quickly as it had started. As she felt the last of his breath on her racing nose, she also realized that his paws no longer held her shoulders. It felt like he had vanished, yet she could still hear the intense beating of his heart as it seemed to match her own.
She opened her eyes when she heard him take a long slow breath. Was he trying to sike himself up? What kind of predator was he? There was a hint of fear in his eyes and it almost discouraged the rabbit for a second.
Reaching out, she grabbed his viciously clawed paw and pulled it towards her chest. "Do it!" she demanded. "What kind of predator are you? Eat me already!" The last was said with a hushed scream as she leaned back to expose her neck again.
With her large ears turned up, she could hear the badger huff in resolution and lean towards her. Keeping her eyes open this time, she wanted to watch as this predator took her life and ended the pain and sorrow of her existence.
Instead of coming for her neck, he quickly lifted her skirt and knelt down to where his head was nearly level with the edge of the desk. She watched as he pulled his paw free and raised the deadly claws in the air.
When the strike came, she nearly closed her eyes again, but forced them open before the end came. What she saw was not the slash across the belly that she had expected but between her legs instead.
In one swift strike, her plain white panties were torn to shreds. With his sharp, black claws, the badger pulled free the remaining taters of her under clothes as he shoved his long muzzle between her legs. His sharp nose collided with her naked crotch while his paws wrapped around her hips to drag her closer to the edge of the desk.
Kandice had heard stories and seen documentaries of how savage and feral mammals behaved. She thought she knew how predators killed and ate other animals in the past, but what this badger was doing was the strangest thing she had ever heard of. He was certainly making a great deal of noise as he licked and chewed at her private, feminie parts, but there was none of the ripping and tearing and blood that she expected.
It slowly dawned on the sad rabbit that this predator had clearly miss understood her intentions for him to end her life. She lifted both of her hind paws and was intent on kicking his head away from her moments before he stuck his long tongue inside her narrow slit.
"Oh my god," she cried at the sensations that filled her at his fierce attentions. The warm tingles that this predator was giving her were like nothing she had ever felt before and she wanted more. His tongue was barely caressing the surface of her pleasure and she needed it to go deeper.
Instead of kicking him away, she wrapped her legs around his head and squeezed him closer. She grasped his ears with her paws and tried to pull him inside her until she felt his sharp fangs graze the edge of her sex. The sudden piercing feeling on her tender flesh sent fresh shivers up her body that almost made her ears tingle.
"Harder," she squealed in desire.
When his tongue began to thrash around violently inside of her she cried, "No, bite me harder." To emphasize her needs she squeezed tighter with her legs and pulled on his muzzle.
He sunk his teeth in and began to chew on her soaking wet vagina like he was biting into a hot, rabbit sandwich. Scraping the sharp fangs across her bright pink flesh he watched her body twitch and shudder as she pressed herself firmly against his open mouth. Her hips thrust pressing her sex against him again and again as his teeth scraped the bright pink flesh under her skirt.
A small pain stabbed at her folds as the tingle in her ears grew. She had never suspected that being eaten out by a predator could feel so wonderful and her entire body seemed to revel in the sensation. Digging her claws across his muzzle as she tried to pull him deeper inside, she never heard her own voice begging and demanding more.
"No!" Kandice cried as he pulled his head away from her drenched and soggy groin. Even her powerful legs were not strong enough to prevent his escape. "Don't stop!" she cried as she reached for him only to grasp at fleeting paws.
After several breaths she watched his muzzle leaning over her while he pressed his hips between her legs. Something very hard and rough pressed against her throbbing wet sex as she anxiously watched the fangs nip at her neck. With a slight wiggle of her tail, her eager folds graciously accept his length inside her desperate body.
Clamping his jaw across her neck, the badger began to slam his shaft deep inside her like some great, pounding steam engine racing down the tracks. He was not gentle or kind in his attack of her vagina, but every thrust and charge were from months of built up tension. His engorged cock pushed into her while she pulled at him with her legs, begging for more.
The tingling that had been building in her body was now a roaring hurricane as the fearful predator shoved himself inside of her repeatedly. She clamped herself around his pleasure inducing shaft while her whole body began to convulse with each thrust.
She wanted to cry out for more, but the intense pleasure would not let more than a high pitched squeak escape her tight throat. His fangs on her neck, while very erotic, were making it hard for her to speak and her breathing came out as a husky moan.
Their fierce intercorse ended almost as quickly as it had begun. With a sudden jerk, her lover let go of her neck and fell across her small body as he gasped for breath.
When she wrapped her paws around him to pull his body closer, he quickly pulled away and stood back from the desk and her widely spread legs. His eyes were filled with fear as he looked at the scene laying before him. He kept glancing sideways at the locked door as if another mammal would walk through it at any second.
Sitting up on the edge of the desk, she noticed that a small pool of her own blood had formed around her butt. It was then that she felt the stabbing pain in her gut, like the badger had broken something when he was inside her.
It was clear that he had ripped and torn something inside her groin with his huge cock, and now she was bleeding all over the polished oak desk. She jumped off the bloody desk and nearly fell to the floor as her legs gave out again.
Catching her under the arms, he helped her stand. Clutching to his half naked body, she stared lovingly into his dark eyes. In only a few brief minutes, her feelings for this predator had changed. She wanted to lean up and kiss those sharp and beautiful lips before he ruined the mood and waved a paw at the red pool staining the top of the desk. "Don't worry, I will clean this up. But you should get back to class."
"Ok," she nodded shyly. Standing on her toes, she tried to kiss her new lover on the lips but he pushed her away.
"Actually you might want to change before returning," he declared, pointing to her blood soaked tail and skirt.
After she left the badger alone in that empty classroom, she decided it would be better to head home instead. She did not want to be seen on the bus with a blood soaked rump so she called a cab and made sure to hide the red stains from the driver.
It was already mid afternoon when she arrived home and was able to sneak into her bedroom without any of her family spotting her. With the dull ache in her gut and the racing emotions, she chose to lay down on her bed instead of returning to school.
Once her head hit the pillow, everything that had happened today came crashing back to overwhelm her. An uncontrollable bout of tears washed forth and would not subside until she fell asleep.
Tonight, her dreams were once again filled with predators. But instead of the horrifying monsters that had been there before, she was surrounded by large and sexy hunks vying for her attention. She was no longer afraid of their teeth and claws, but remembered how the unnamed badger's sharp parts felt as they ran through her fur.
Waking early the next morning, she realized that she never asked the badger for his name. Before her alarm could sing its awful song she had showered, dressed and was ready to leave for class. Today she was determined to find out who he was and if he wanted to be her boyfriend.
This semester she knew that she always seemed to run into him between her second and third classes, or outside in the grass on her lunch break. After being eaten yesterday, she realized that his hungry stares had actually been from a different sort of desire. In her fear filled mind she would never have thought that this nameless badger had actually found her attractive, now she knew otherwise and could not wait to see those beautiful black eyes again.
Racing to the hall where she often encountered him between classes, she clutched her textbooks tightly to her chest and waited. A bell rang for the next class period to start but she had not seen the badger once, nor did she find him wandering the campus lawn at lunch.
After a week of searching, her mystery lover was nowhere to be found. When she asked around the hallway where he usually appeared, a young stoat was able to give her a barely helpful answer.
"I don't know any students like that. The only badgers I know are on the Tuskball team and don't have time for business majors," the small predator said with a shake of her head. "But from your description that does sound a lot like Professor Imbila."
"A professor?" Kandice said with a shiver in her tail. "That does make a lot of sense." She then turned back to the stoat before she could wadle away, "Do you know where I can find Mr. Imbila?"
Again, the stoat shook her head sadly, "I'm sorry no. I don't know where he is."
"Why not?" the rabbit asked urgently.
"My friend said that he quit last week," she explained.
"I heard he was fired," a passing weasel said with a crude snicker.
"Sorry I could not help you find your friend," the stoat said sadly as she started to back away. "But I have to hurry if I want to make it to class on time."
"Ok, thank you," Kandice replied with a wave.
As much as her heart hurt at the loss, she understood that the professor had quit because of her and she was not going to track him down in the hopes that he would go out with her. She didn't regret what they had done in the heat of the moment, but she wouldn't forget him either.
In the back of her mind she wished they could have had more, but she also knew that it was impossible. Both pred and prey relations along with student teacher affairs were heavily frowned upon so she hardened her heart and hoped that one day she could find a meaningful relationship with her newfound desires.
"Hey," Kandice called out to the retreating stoat. "Can I buy you some coffee after class?"
"Sure," the small, white predator replied after giving the friendly bunny a curious look. "My name is Samantha. Do you like Snarlbucks?"
"It is nice to meet you Samantha," the rabbit told the stoat as they walked down the hall together. "I am Kandice, but my friends call me Cotton, and yes I love Snarlbucks."
[A/N] I hope everyone can enjoy the pun that is in the title of this chapter. Almost all of my chapter tiles have one pun or another. Some are pretty bad though, but I thought this one fit perfectly.
