Chapter 25: Snowed In

Kyle peeked out the window once more, with his phone firmly to his ear as he listened to Kendall talk about staying safe in the storm. A snowstorm had started shortly after midnight and hadn't let up.

The snow was really coming down. After the festivities last night, he had hurried back to the cabin with Jared, Miles, Matt, and Penelope. Noah and Roldy had also joined them not wanting to drive too far in the snow. Leora and Lilly hung back with Jill and Carly for a bit. Leora's car had gotten stuck at the end of the driveway. The girls had ended up stuck at Kendall and James' cabin. The snow had come quick and hadn't stopped. Noah, Matt, Miles, and Jared were braving the snow to get more firewood from the pile, before it became impossible.

Kyle turned to face Penelope and Noah. They were sitting on the couch chatting and keeping warm by the fire. They both gave him a look and he nodded his head. Kendall was still going on.

"Dad, I know," Kyle said trying to get his attention. He knew they had to stay put. There was no chance of leaving for home today. They all knew that. "We are staying put, don't worry. The guys are getting more firewood from the woodpile and we are preparing for the worst and hoping for the best."

"I know, I just worry is all. Do you guys have enough food and water?" Kendall asked.

"Are you kidding me, I've fed these guys for months. I know how much food they go through in a day I am definitely prepared to feed an army," Kyle laughed.

"What's that supposed to mean?" Noah asked from across the room.

"Have you met Jared and Roldy? They eat like they are starving," Kyle said, lowering his phone for a moment. Noah and Penelope laughed at that.

"Kyle, just stay safe," Kendall said.

"Yeah dad, I'll call you later and check-in. Tell Jill and Cary to relax and we will be there as soon as this storm lets up and the roads get cleared," Kyle said.

"I know, they are fine. Jill is currently terrorizing your sister with Wilson," Kendall chuckled.

"If you lose that mouse again I won't be mad," Kyle said shaking his head. Kendall laughed at that. The pair shared a quick goodbye and Kyle hung up. He looks over to the two on the couch again.

"He's in full-blown panic mode," Kyle said, shaking his head. "He acts like I'm still just a kid."

"But you are," Noah teased.

"Technically," Kyle replied, waving a hand. "I'm probably one of the most responsible ones here right now. Without me or Pen cooking, you guys would probably last a day or two at most."

"I agree, Jared would probably burn the place down trying to cook," Noah said nodding his head.

"Hurtful."

Jared, Matt, Roldy, and Miles had returned. They had more firewood with them.

"But you know it's true," Roldy laughed.

"As if we would even let him in the kitchen in the first place," Matt said shaking his head. They brought the wood over to the fireplace.

"What did your dad want?" Jared asked.

"To lecture me about not going out in the snow, like I'm irresponsible or something," Kyle said shaking his head. "He said their cars are covered in snow and they can't even see the road at all. I think he said the news said we've got like 20-some inches already and it's expected to keep going."

"Well, we've got most of the firewood on the porch and brought a bunch in already. We should be good to go for a while," Matt said.

"I say we watch some movies or something to pass the time," Miles said.

"I second that," Kyle said.

"I'll go get some snacks," Penelope said. Noah quickly joined her.

The others set about getting the movies picked out. Once a movie was selected and snacks passed around, everyone got comfortable.

—Happy Mistakes—

Logan yawned as he reached across the bed. He felt an empty space behind him. He cracked an eye open and looked over. Carlos was sitting by the window watching the snow with a small smile.

"Los?"

"Morning," Carlos said, jumping up. He crawled back into bed. "Bad storm, Kendall said we aren't going anywhere."

"So we are stuck here?" Logan asked sitting up to meet Carlos halfway. "Whatever are we going to do to pass the time?"

Carlos grinned as he leaned in and sealed their lips together. Logan pulled Carlos back until he was laying under him.

"I don't think we properly celebrated getting back together," Logan said as Carlos loved until he was straddling his lap.

"Yeah, we have been in this cabin with other people," Carlos replied.

"So be quiet then," Logan said, pulling Carlos down for a kiss.

Carlos chuckled as Logan pulled him closer. Logan sealed their lips in a heated kiss. He wanted Carlos, and he wanted him now. Logan's hand slid down his body and slipped into Carlos' pajama bottoms. He gave a squeeze, causing Carlos to gasp.

"I think you are overdressed," Logan said as he started to push the offending item of clothing down.

"What are you gonna do about that?" Carols asked.

Logan day up forcing Carlos back. He quickly rid Carlos of his shirt. His lips moved across Carlos' body as his hands found purchase on his hips. He kissed every inch of skin before him. Carlos bit his lip trying to keep quiet.

A knock at the door interrupted them. Logan groaned as Carlos jumped up.

"Just a minute," Logan called. Carlos quickly got dressed.

"Dad, Kendall said you guys need to come help get some firewood before the snow gets too deep," Lilly called from the other side of the door.

"We will be down in a few minutes," Logan called.

They waited as her footsteps retreated. Logan sighed and looked to his husband, who was now fully dressed.

"Isn't that a little counter productive," Logan asked as he stood up and walked over to Carlos. "You're supposed to take your clothes off."

"We gotta go help," Carlos said, "the moment has passed."

"No it hasn't," Logan said walking up to him. "We have time."

"No we don't, if we don't get down there soon Kendall and James will bust in here because they have no boundaries," Carlos said.

"Don't use logic on me," Logan said, pulling Carlos close. "I'm horny and logic doesn't work." He pressed a kiss to his lips. Carlos sighed as he stepped back.

"Logie, not using logic that's a first," Carlos teased.

"For once I'm not using my brain, just give me five minutes," Logan said pulling the Latino close.

"Five minutes? That's all," Carlos asked, smirking.

"I can be quick," Logan said stepping closer to his husband, "or I can draw this out, and I'll have you begging for more."

"Sorry, the moments passed now get dressed before Kendall and James get here and see you in your underwear," Carlos said, giving him a gentle shove.

"It's not like they haven't walked in on us having sex before," Logan sighed as he grabbed his clothes. He was getting his pants on when the door burst open.

"Guys we really need your help getting more firewood inside before this storm gets really bad,"

Kendall said.

"Told you they wouldn't knock," Carlos said.

"I sent Lily as your warning," Kendall said.

"I need to get new friends," Logan sighed as he pushed past Kendall annoyed.

"Tell us how you really feel Loges," Kendall called after him.

"I told you he gets cranky when he doesn't get any," Carlos chuckled.

"Well you need to start putting out," Janes teased.

"I'm trying but we've got two best friends who don't have any boundaries," Carlos shot back.

"Sorry, but the snow is coming down hard and we need to get more firewood into the house before we can't get out there at all," Kendall said.

-Happy Mistakes-

Leora watched as Jill and Carly played with Jenny and Miri. They were keeping the two girls occupied. Kendall, James, Logan, Carlos, Adam, Cooper, Damien, and Lilly were hauling wood from the shed to the porch. They wanted to be prepared in case things got worse. Kendall was preparing in case the power went out. He was in full panic mode trying to get things done. Jake was sitting with the boys and keeping them occupied. He was feeding Eli and Kenny was napping. Things were going fine.

Leora decided to head to the kitchen and get lunch going. She set about to see what she could find. She found leftover ham from Christmas dinner and leftover dinner rolls. She dug around and started making sliders. Carly wandered in looking for some water and ended up helping Leora get the sandwiches done. Next Leora found some potatoes and decided to make homemade chips.

"Wow Leora, you are a good cook," Carly said as she watched her slice up the potatoes.

"Thanks, I learned from pops," Leora said smiling at her. "I can teach you if you'd like."

"Really? My mom would never let me help because I'm too young to use a knife or the stove," Carly said.

"Obviously there are a few things I would wait to teach you, but there are some things I can teach you right now," Leora said.

"Thank you," Carly said smiling.

"For now you can watch and learn," Leora said, "actually, you can help put the sandwiches on a sheet pan so we can warm them up and melt the cheese."

"Ok," Carly said.

Leora got her the supplies she would need and they both set to work. They talked and laughed. Leora coached Carly on what to do and told her what she was doing with the potatoes. Jake wandered in with Eli in his arms. He looked at Leora confused.

"We are making lunch," Leora said, "ham and cheese sliders with homemade potato chips," she explained.

"Ooh, sounds good, you are becoming quite the chef baby sister," Jake said.

"I know," Leora said, "now go tell dad and them that lunch will be ready soon."

"Yes boss," Jake chuckled. He left the kitchen.

It wasn't long before everyone was crowding in the kitchen looking for food. Everyone was super thankful that Leora made lunch. They all thanked her and told her how good it was.

"Hey you guys gotta thank Carly too, she helped me with the sandwiches," Leora said, "she was my sous chef today."

"Yeah, I helped," Carly said proudly.

"With Leora teaching you, you'll be a pro chef in no time," Logan said.

Carly beamed at the compliment. She was so happy to be able to help. From what Leora had gathered she hadn't had the best childhood. She had always been told she was too young to do things.

Once lunch was done, everyone headed to the living room to relax for a while. They had a fire going and the kids were occupied. Jill had some of her art stuff and was helping Miri and Jenny draw. Carly was playing with Kenny trying to get him to walk. Adam and Cooper were helping her. They were all excited for him to start walking.

—Happy Mistakes—

Jake sighed as he started packing. He knew they weren't going anywhere until the storm was over, but he needed to do something to keep himself busy. Eli was napping and Damien was hanging out with Adam and Cooper. He didn't want to bother them right now. He wasn't much for video games anyway and that's all they talked about apart from the kids.

Jake has been trying to talk to Damein all day. Every time he had gathered his courage to say something, someone caught Damien's attention. He had been ready after breakfast, but Kendall asked him to help haul firewood. Then after lunch Adam snagged his attention talking about a new video game release they were excited for.

As much as Jake wanted to talk to Damien, he was scared. He was afraid that Damien wasn't going to understand that he didn't love their baby. Jake didn't understand it fully himself. He had eagerly waited for Eli to be born, but now that he was here. He didn't feel a connection to his baby. As a parent that was the worst thing he could do.

"There you are."

Jake looked over his shoulder at Damien. He gave him a small smile, but Damien saw right through it. Jake glanced over at Eli, who was still peacefully sleeping.

"Yeah, I know we can't go anywhere in this storm, but I need to keep busy," Jake said looking down at the suitcase he had already packed and repacked.

"Are you ok?" Damien asked as he crossed the room. He sat down beside the suitcase.

"Yeah," Jake said, picking up a shirt and folding it.

"Bull shit," Damien said, stopping Jake. He grabbed his wrist stopping him from packing.

"Then why ask?" Jake asked, avoiding eye contact.

"I can tell something is bothering you. It has been for awhile and I've been hoping you would talk to me, but it seems like I have to be the one to start this," Damien said.

Jake opened his mouth to speak, but he couldn't find the words. He wasn't sure how to say this. He had known that Damien knew something was wrong. Damien always knew what was wrong with him before he knew himself.

"Jake, you can tell me anything," Damien said grabbing his hand. He brought it up to his lips. "I love you."

"I love you too," Jake said, tears welling up.

"Jake," Damien said.

"I don't love my baby," Jake said finally.

Damien sat there for a moment as the words sunk in. Jake started sobbing. Damien snapped to and jumped up. He pulled Jake into his arms.

"Oh, Jake-" Damien said.

"I know I should have said something, but I just...I've been so scared that you would get mad. I don't know why I can feel connected to him. I just look at him and I feel nothing," Jake said through his tears.

"I could never be mad at you. We are gonna get through this. When we get back to LA we can go see a doctor. I will be here for you every step of the way," Damien promised.

Jake started crying harder. Why was Damien so understanding and helpful? Jake did not deserve this man.

"Stop it, stop being down on yourself," Damien said, grabbing his face and making him look up at him.

"How?" Jake asked.

"I know you," Damien replied, "I knew something was up, but I had hoped you would tell me if it got bad."

"I know and I should have, but I felt-I feel like a failure," Jake said, a fresh batch of tears coming.

Damien wiped his tears. He leaned in and kissed Jake softly. It was filled with love. It was just a simple kiss that made Jake feel so loved and cared for. Damien rested his forehead on his.

"It's ok Jake, postpartum is a real thing and I've been suspicious for a while, but I didn't want to say anything and upset you if I was wrong," Damien said.

"I'm sorry," Jake said. He wiped his tears again. "I need help and I'm ready to get it."

Damien hugged Jake close. They stood there in the middle of the room. Jake just needed this right now. He needed Damien to just be here for him. He needed to know that he wasn't a failure and that things would get better. Damien was all those things for him.

-Happy Mistakes-

Kyle was in the kitchen cleaning up after lunch. Everyone had run off as soon as they finished eating. They had all scattered. Everyone was starting to get on each other's nerves a little. They had been stuck together all morning. They all needed a little alone time.

"You got stuck here cleaning up?"

Kyle looked up as Miles entered the room. He glared at his friend. MIles knew what he had done.

"Yeah, you all took off and left me here to clean up," Kyle said.

"Would you like some help," MIles asked, walking over to him.

Together they cleared the table and Kyle put the leftovers away for later. Whether the guys like it or not they were having the same thing for supper. Food was limited and he was going to make it all stretch.

Once they finished Kyle leaned against the counter. He was tired. He wanted to go lay down and sleep for a week.

"So, now what?" Miles asked.

"Dunno, find a way to entertain yourself," Kyle said, pushing himself off the counter. "I am gonna go take a nap."

"Lame," Miles said as he followed the blonde out of the room.

Kyle made his way up to his room. Miles followed him. He sighed as he climbed into bed. Miles followed him again.

"Go away I'm tired," Kyle groaned.

"Nah, you want company," Miles said as he laid down next to the blonde with a grin.

"No I want to sleep," Kyle said shoving Miles.

"Do you though," Miles asked playfully.

"Shut up," Kyle said, rolling on his back. He looked up at the ceiling. Miles copied him. "So what's bothering you?"

"Why would you assume something's bothering me?" Miles asked, offended.

"Because you won't leave me alone. You also helped me clean up. You never clean up," Kyle said.

"Am I that predictable?" Miles asked.

"Only with me, cause I know you so well," Kyle replied.

"Am I wasting my time with Leora?" Miles asked.

"Have you asked her out?" Kyle asked.

"I've tried but every time I get the courage I just remember her calling me a brother and I get scared. She doesn't feel that way about me. She will probably laugh at me," Miles said, keeping his eyes trained on the ceiling.

Kyle looked at him. "Dude she would never laugh at you."

"Maybe, but I don't know if I could handle rejection again," Miles said.

"Again?" Kyle asked.

"I told you she only thinks of me as a brother," Miles said.

"You will never know if you never put yourself out there. Dude you gotta tell her how you really feel, cause you copped out last time," Kyle said.

"I did not!" Miles declared.

"Yeah you did, you need to either man up and tell her or move on dude," Kyle replied.

"But like I don't know," Miles sighed.

"Don't know what?" Kyle asked.

"How I feel. Like ever since the other day I've been thinking about…" Miles trailed off.

"That guy?" Kyle asked, glancing over at him.

"Yeah-no, maybe I don't know," Miles sighed.

"Dude it's ok to not be sure, I mean look at me. I never looked at guys until I met Jared," Kyle said.

"Never?" Miles asked.

"Not, like, seriously. I had some guys I thought were good looking, but I never thought about actually dating a guy. Then I met Jared and something changed," Kyle said.

"What changed?" Miles asked.

"I don't know, he was all I could think about. It was like...It was a raw physical attraction. I wanted him so bad. I couldn't get him out of my head, and then my dad telling me that I couldn't see him only made me want him more, and somewhere along the way, we fell in love," Kyle said smiling.

"Don't go getting all sappy on me," Miles said nudging Kyle.

"You asked," Kyle laughed, "you'll know when the time comes."

They fell silent for a moment. Miles let Kyle's words sink in. He wasn't sure what to think right now. He was so confused over his feelings for Leora and how attracted he was to that guy he had met last week.

"So, uh...thanks for listening to me rant," Miles said slowly changing the subject.

"Yeah well, you wouldn't leave me alone so I didn't have a choice," Kyle replied.

"I know, but you could have smothered me with a pillow and you didn't, and for that I am thankful," Miles said.

"Stop." Kyle shoved Miles.

The pair laughed as they started shoving the other. It wasn't long before Kyle gave up on going to sleep. He sat up and sighed. Miles followed suit. He arched a brow at the blonde.

"I'm not tired anymore and it's all your fault," Kyle said.

"Sorry, not sorry," Miles laughed. He jumped up and ran from the room.

Kyle sighed as he followed him. He knew it was useless to try and get any sleep now. They both made their way to the living room.

Jared and Matt were playing a fighter game on the PlayStation. Penelope was sitting by the fire with a book and Noah and Roldy were nowhere to be seen.

"There you two are," Jared said looking up at Kyle with a smile. Kyle sat down beside him and pecked him on the cheek.

"Yeah, we cleaned up the kitchen," Miles said glancing over at Kyle.

"Then I tried to take a nap, but this idiot doesn't know how to shut up," Kyle said.

"He had his chance to smother me and he let it go," Miles joked.

"You should have just smothered him," Matt quipped.

"I'm starting to regret that decision," Kyle sighed. Miles just laughed. "So who's winning?" He asked, turning his attention to the game on TV.

"Not Munroe, he sucks," Matt replied. Jared just shoved him. "Watch it cheater."

Kyle snatched Jared's controller. Jared protested but Kyle made quick work of Matt's character. Matt groaned as the cut scene with the final kill played across the screen.

"How," Jared asked.

"It's not just button mashing," Kyle replied.

"Rematch," Matt said looking at Kyle. "I wasn't really trying, Munroe is easy to beat."

"You're on," Kyle said.

"I got the winner," Miles declared.

Jared's cell phone rang. He jumped up getting in Kyle's way. Kyle protested as Jared took his time getting out of his way. He answered his phone.

"Hey Kendall, everyone is fine we have not ventured outside and are all accounted for," Jared said quickly.

Kyle laughed at that. He had taught Jared well. He glanced up as Jared's smile fell.

"What do you mean?" Jared asked slowly. Kyle arched an eyebrow at him. He held a hand up. "She what? Seriously?"

"What's wrong?" Kyle asked, tossing his controller to Miles. He jumped up and walked over to Jared.

"Jill hit Carly," Jared told him. He turned his attention back to Kendall. "She said what? No way. Are you sure? Can you put her on the phone?"

"What's going on?" Kyle asked curiously.

Jared held a hand up to Kyle. "What do you mean she's gone?"

"Gone? Gone where? Who's gone?" Kyle asked. He didn't like not being involved.

"Kendall I swear to god if something happens to Jill-" Jared started. "Find her, I don't think she would go out in the storm. She's gotta be in that cabin somewhere. Call me when you find her." He hung up and turned to Kyle.

"What happened?" Kyle asked.

"I guess Jill got mad at Carly and hit her and said some mean things to her," Jared said slowly.

"What did she say?" Matt asked abandoning his game.

"I guess she called Carly a freak and said that mom did what she did because she couldn't stand having her for a daughter," Jared sighed.

"What?" Kyle asked shocked.

"Yep and now they can't find Jill. She's probably hiding somewhere in the cabin," Jared added.

"How's Carly?" Matt asked.

"She's upset and Logan is trying to calm her down. I should probably call back and talk to her," Jared said, pulling his phone back out to call Kendall about Carly.

—Happy Mistakes—

James moved from one room to the next searching for Jill. Everyone in the cabin was looking for her. There were no tracks leaving the cabin. She was inside somewhere.

James entered the hallway as Kendall came up the stairs carrying a sleeping Jill. She was curled in a blanket sleeping.

"She was in a closet sleeping," Kendall whispered. He brought her to her room. Janes followed.

"Does Jared know you found her?" James asked quietly.

"Yeah, he's talking with Carly right now," Kendall replied.

"He said to let her sleep for now and that he would be over as soon as he could," Kendall said.

They tucked Jill into bed. They left her room. Logan and Carlos were standing out the hallway. Kendall gave them a confused look.

"Carly is with Lilly and Leora right now, " Logan said.

"What about Jill," Carols asked looking towards her room.

"I don't know, I talked to Jared and he said she's never had an outburst like that before," Kendall said.

"Someone needs to talk to her, " Logan said.

"She won't wake up, she's being stubborn, " Kendall said, shaking his head. "Let's let her rest and we can figure out what to do later."

"How is Carly doing?" James asked.

"She's not mad at Jill, I got her calmed down for now, " Logan said.

The four made their way down stairs. James and Carlos headed to the living room. Logan pulled Kendall aside to the kitchen. Kendal arched a brow at him confused.

"I think you need to talk to Jared about getting the girls into therapy so they can talk about...what happened, " Logan said.

"They were in therapy when all this court stuff went down, " Kendall said.

"I think might need to go back, " Logan said.

"No way, " Kendall said, flicking Logan on the forehead.

"I'm just trying to help, " Logan said, giving Kendall a shove. "Jill is old enough to know that what she did was wrong, and what she was was meant to hurt. She knew what she was doing."

"I know that, but she's not our kid. We can't punish her without Jared around. He's her legal guardian," Kendall said.

"What's he gonna do? He's not a parent. He doesn't know what he's doing," Logan said.

"You don't think I know that, but he's doing the best that he can given the circumstances," Kendall said.

"Those girls need help, and more than Jared can give them," Logan said.

"I'm doing all I can for him. He just needs a chance to figure this out. This was thrust on him all of a sudden. He can do it, just give him a chance," Kendall said as he crossed the room to the counter. He leaned back.

"I get that, but he's young and not ready for raising teenagers, these girls are just a few years shy of their teens. Can he handle that when he's on the road touring and making music? We had your mom to help us," Logan said.

"And he's got me," Kendall said, "I've been helping and guiding him. So has James. Those girls are family now."

"Good, I'm glad you think so, but they need help," Logan said reaching into his pocket. He pulled a card from his wallet. He held it out to Kendall. "Give this to Jared, it's for a colleague of mine. She's great with kids."

"I hate it when you use your weird psychology stuff on me," Kendall sighed, shaking his head.

"I know, but I'm serious Jared might not be able to do this on his own," Logan said, "and I think it might be too much for Kyle."

"I know, and I've asked him about it, but he says that he can handle it and that he loves the girls," Kendall said.

"He's spreading himself too thin Kendall. He's gonna crack under the pressure," Logan said.

"You don't think I know that? Between school, all the time he spends at the studio and with Jared and the girls? I've told him to slow down, but he won't listen to me," Kendall said, crossing the room to the table. He said down.

"Kids never listen to their parents," Logan said, joining the blonde.

"You know sometimes I wished I had listened more," Kendall sighed.

"Don't we all?" Logan asked, leaning against the blonde. Kendall dropped his head on Logan's.

"I know our kids need to learn that lesson on their own, but watching them make the same mistakes we made kind of sucks," Kendall said.

"The kids are alright," Logan said.

"I know they will be, but Kyle and Leora are graduating this year. I wonder where all that time went and how they became so grown up," Kendall said.

"I know, soon Layla will be graduating and wanting to move out," Logan said slowly.

"And we will be...old," Kendall said, making a face.

"Aren't we old already?" Logan laughed.

"Shh...I'm in denial," Kendall said giving Logan a playful shove. The two started laughing.

"I know, but the sooner you accept it the sooner you can get the delusional thought of a Big Time Rush reunion out of your head," Logan said poking the blonde in the side.

"You can't tell me you haven't been thinking about it," Kendall said.

"Maybe a little," Logan admitted sitting up. He looked at the blonde. "I don't know if I could even do a tour anymore."

"Oh please it's like riding a bike, and I can whip you back into shape," Kendall teased.

"You're nuts," Logan said, shaking his head. "Carlos would never be able to go, he's already committed to two more seasons of Save Rock and Roll."

"Oh he can take a break or we could do it during the summer," Kendall said waving a hand, "come on Logan, wouldn't it be fun to get away and be back on the road again just the four of us having fun doing what we love, sing and dance together as best friends."

"I gotta admit it was fun," Logan said a small smile gracing his lips as he thought about the old days. "But, we are older now and we've got families."

"Most of our kids are all grown up," Kendall reminded him.

"True, but what about those of us who have tea jobs Kendall, some of us can't just up and leave," Logan said.

"James is a model, he can pick his work schedule, Carlos is a TV star and gets the summer to relax, and you haven't taken a proper vacation in years. I'm sure the hospital would throw you a going away party," Kendall replied.

"This is insane," Logan said.

"So you're in?" Kendall asked.

"Yeah," Logan said, nodding his head. "Convincing James and Carlos is gonna be harder though, and what about Jenny?"

"What are you two doing in here?"

James and Carlos entered the kitchen. Logan jumped up and moved to another seat so James could sit by Kendall.

"We were just talking," Kendall said.

"About what?" Carlos asked, taking a seat next to Logan.

"Oh nothing, just that that's kids are growing up way too fast and soon Layla will be graduating and moving out on her own," Kendall said.

"Stop," Logan said, shaking his head. He didn't want to believe she was that close to graduating already. She still had two more years before that happened.

"She is growing up way too fast," Carlos agreed.

"They all are, even Jenny and Miri. It's hard to believe that they are almost three," James said shaking his head.

"Times flies," Kendall said.

The four sat around talking and reminiscing.
