Chapter 28: Life Goes On
Kendall smiled as he watched James and Jenny. James was currently trying to get Jenny to eat her oatmeal. Jenny thought it was a game and that it was funnier to make James wear the food.
"Jenny you gotta eat some of this," James sighed, as he wiped his hand off.
"You made it a game," Kendall laughed.
"Ba ba," Jenny said, smacking the oatmeal on her try.
James sighed and gave up. He set the bowl down and Jenny dove in herself. She started playing with the oatmeal and sucking on her fingers.
"Looks like we are taking a bath after breakfast," James sighed.
Kyle and Leora ran into the kitchen with their backpacks in tow. They both grabbed their breakfast plates James had made.
"Morning dad," Kyle said.
"Morning pops," Leora said.
They started scarfing their food down as fast as they could.
"Where's the fire?" Kendall asked.
"Gotta get to school early. We uh-" Kyle said slowly, looking to Leora.
"We've got a project we need to finish," Leora finished for him.
"Project?" Kendall asked.
"Will we be getting a call from the school later?" James asked.
"Hard to say," Kyle admitted.
"It's like a senior project," Leora said slowly.
"That's enough. I don't wanna hear anymore," Kendall said shaking his head.
"Ignorance is bliss," James agreed.
"Plausible deniability," Kendall added.
"Let's go, Lucas will be mad if we're late," Leora said, smacking Kyle's arm. They jumped up from the table putting their dishes away.
"I probably won't be home tonight," Kyle said, "Jared and I have plans."
"Don't you always, I'm surprised you came home last night," Kendall said.
"They got into a fight, Jared kicked him out," Leora laughed.
"Which is why I have to kiss ass tonight," Kyle replied, giving Leora a shove towards the door.
"We don't need the details of your sex life," Leora said.
"Ok Miles," Kyle said.
"Ew, watch your mouth," Leora said as they took off down the hallway.
"Then stop acting like him," Kyle retorted.
Kendall shook his head as the front door slipped shut, the pair still were growing up so fast. It's hard to believe that they would be eighteen in a few days.
"So what are the plans for this weekend," James asked, changing the subject.
"Birthday dinner as always, early because you know they are gonna go out with their friends," Kendall said.
"True, do you have their gifts?" James asked.
"Yeah, at the office under lock and key," Kendall said.
"Good, I've got my shopping list ready," James replied.
"Have you talked to your mom or dad yet?" Kendall asked.
"Mom will be here, you know she can't miss anything for Leora," James replied.
"Right what about your dad," Kendall asked.
"He said he would try but he was getting divorced right now and number six was trying to take him for everything even though he had a prenup," James said shaking his head.
"You think he's ever gonna settle down," Kendall asked.
"I don't think so," James said, shaking his head.
"Ok I hate to leave you with that mess, but I've got to get to work," Kendall said looking at Jenny, she was still happily playing with her oatmeal. He stood and held a hand to James.
"It's ok we'll take a shower and get all cleaned up," James said taking his hand. He pecked Kendall on the lips. "Go, someone's gotta bring home the bacon."
"I can't have bacon, remember," Kendall joked.
"You can, once in a while," James said with a chuckle.
"Nope, I'm an old man who's gonna be eating oatmeal and raisins for the rest of my life. Especially if Leora has her way," Kendall said.
"Well you already had one heart attack, let's not have another ok," James said.
"I will try my best, but you heard the doctor my heart is in great condition and it was stress related. I've been trying to reduce my stress," Kendall said.
"Those boys are your stress," James replied.
"Which boys? Our boys or the band," Kendall asked.
"All of the above," James replied, "besides those four are our boys now."
"True," Kendall said nodding his head. "I gotta go." He pecked James on the lips again. "It's probably gonna be a late night again. I've got boot camp for the guys and then Kyle after school."
"Got it, I'll have the kids all day, Jake and Adam should be here soon," James said.
"Well I hope you survive, I'll be home around five-ish," Kendall replied.
"Oh I'll survive, I love my babies," James said, waving a hand at the blonde.
Kendall chuckled as he left the kitchen. He pulled his phone out to text Penelope that he would be picking up the coffee this morning. She was quick to reply reminding him to get her a decaf.

Lucas followed Miles, Leora, and Kyle down the hallway. Today was senior prank day. They had all gone around this morning and set up a few glitter bombs up. They had set up the principal, the guidance counselor, and their class advisors up for sure.
"Do you think they are gonna get mad?" Leora asked worriedly.
"Nah, they expect mischief and mayhem from us," Kyle replied, looking to Miles.
"Exactly, don't sweat it Le, they can take down all of us," Miles said, slinging at arm over Kyle's shoulder.
"I feel bad, maybe we should go back," Leora said, turning around. Lucas quickly stopped her.
"The deed is done Leora, there are no take backs," Lucas said.
"Besides if you set it off they will know what we did and you'll be covered and branded as the snitch," Kyle told her.
"Right, and we don't want that," Leora said shaking her head.
"Good girl," Kyle said, patting her on the head.
"Come on now," Lucas said, linking an arm with her. They made their way to their next class together.
"Distract me Lu, how are things with Artie?" Leora asked.
"Great," Lucas said smiling. "Like he could be the one."
"Seriously?" Leora asked.
"I've never felt this way about anyone before," Lucas said smiling. "I just wish my parents could see that."
"If they can't accept your relationship I say forget it. I mean that didn't stop me and Jared," Kyle said.
"You dated Jared to spite dad at first and you know it," Leora retorted.
"Yeah, but we're totally in love now," Kyle said.
"He kicked you out last night," Leora said.
"Yeah, but it was sorta my fault, I'm just a dumb boy remember," Kyle said.
"At least you can admit it," Lucas laughed.
The four entered their class and took their seats. They fell into a tense silence. Most of the other seniors in the room seemed antsy too. They were waiting for their teacher to arrive. Today was going to be interesting.

Logan smiled as he watched Carlos in front of the camera. He was a natural and worked well with most of his costars. Logan still couldn't stand Selene. He trusted Carlos now. They had worked through so much in therapy. They were a better place now. Things couldn't be better.
"Cut! That's a wrap for lunch guys."
Carlos quickly excused himself from conversation with Emily and Selene. He ran over to Logan with a grin.
"What are you doing here," Carlos asked.
"I needed to get out of the hospital for a bit and I was hoping you might be free for lunch," Logan said.
"Are you asking me on a lunch date?" Carlos asked with a laugh.
"Maybe," Logan replied, his ears turning red slightly at being put on the spot.
"I would love to, let's go," Carlos said, grabbing his hand. "I need to change first."
"Good I need to get my mind off work right now," Logan said.
"Hard case?" Carlos asked as they made his way to his dressing room.
"Yeah, Jacobi kicked us all out and told us to get our minds off the case and we would come back later. He is currently locked in his office trying to find the answers himself," Logan said as they entered the dressing room.
Carlos started changing quickly. Logan sat down on the couch as he waited.
"So Teri from casting came up to me about a future episode. She wants you guys back to guest star as my old band again," Carlos said.
"I'm game, it was fun last time," Logan said quickly, "wait I I have to work with-"
"Yes, and let it go. I have, she has and we have all moved on. Let's be adults," Carlos said.
"Ok, but I swear if I get any weird vibes I might make a scene," Logan said.
"I wouldn't expect anything less of you," Carlos laughed. "Anyways they wanna do like a flashback episode."
"Cool," Logan said.
"They are looking for younger actors to play us as teens, I was thinking of asking Miles to audition for you. I mean he is a carbon copy of you," Carlos said.
"I sure Miles would love it, what about Kyle for Kendall. I don't think anyone else could pull it off," Logan asked.
"I have to talk to Kendall and James still, I was thinking Adam too," Carlos said nodding his head. "I mean he's already got a few minor acting credits to his name so he'd be a no brainer for James' double," Carlos said, "I can also see Kendall not letting Kyle do it because the kid has too much on his plate as it is."
"Yes but Kyle will be eighteen by the end of the week," Logan pointed out.
"Oh that's right," Carlos said as he finished changing. "I'm ready, let's go get lunch."
"Where do you wanna go?" Logan asked.
"There is this little bistro not far from here. They've got amazing food. I think it's like Greek fusion," Carlos said.
"Sure lead the way," Logan said smiling.
They made their way off the set together. Carlos told Logan the place was in walking distance. Carlos quickly snagged them a table and ordered for them without needing the menu.
"Bold to assume what I want," Logan chuckled.
"Trust me," Carlos said, "Em and I come here a lot. You'll love it, and you'll be coming to take me to lunch everyday."
"If you say so," Logan laughed, "so just you and Emily come here?" He asked. He mentally kicked himself. He knew he shouldn't be jealous of Selene, but he couldn't help it.
"Yeah, it's our little secret so don't tell anyone," Carlos said, shrugging.
"It's like right across the street how does no one know about it?" Logan asked.
Carlos shrugged. "I don't know, maybe they overlook it, but just a handful of us know about this place."
"Well thank you for sharing your special place with me," Logan laughed, "your secret is safe with me."
—Happy Mistakes—
Jared and the guys all fell to the floor exhausted. Kendall was letting them take a break for a few minutes. They were rehearsing for their show. The tour was three months away and they had to get into shape. Jared loved performing, he just hated the boot camp beforehand. It was exhausting. It would be worth it in the end. Kendall and Kyle had come up with amazing choreography for the show.
"I think he's trying to kill us," Noah said.
"It would appear so," Matt replied.
"No he's just trying to torture us," Roldy said.
"Guys we've been through this before. We will survive," Jared said.
"It'll be worth it too," Matt said nodding his head. They all moved so they were sitting up in a circle.
Kendall was on his laptop probably working on the set list again. He was always busy tweaking and rearranging things.
The studio door opened and Kyle and Miles entered. They were carrying several bottles of water.
"Kelly says it's break time," Kyle announced. "She said Gustavo is looking for you dad."
"And you guys need water," Miles said as they handed out the water.
"You too," Kyle said, handing Kendall a water bottle as well.
"Thanks, I'm fine," Kendall said.
"Drink the water," Kyle said.
"Ok dad," Kendall replied.
"Well one of us has to be the parent in this relationship," Kyle said, earning a chuckle from Kendall. "But seriously Gustavo wants to talk to you. I'm sure it's about that contract he needs signed."
"What are you-oh," Kendall said catching on. "Show them the new choreography we worked on. I'll be back as soon as I can." He quickly left the studio.
"New?" Jared asked.
"Yeah, we worked out something new for Heartache on the Big Screen," Kyle said.
"What did Gustavo want?" Noah asked curiously.
"Him and dad are working on a project together that is top secret and I only know because Gustavo told me and swore me to secrecy as well. That is all I can say on the matter," Kyle said putting his hands up.
"Let it go No," Roldy said.
"How come you don't have to go through boot camp," Matt asked, changing the subject.
"Well for one thing I'm a solo artist and I don't have to be synchronized with three other people. Second, I am going through boot camp too. What do you think I do here after you guys leave for the afternoon," Kyle asked.
"Let's get back to it," Jared said holding a hand out to Kyle. Kyle helped pull him to his feet.
"So dad and I were working late last night and he wants to add Heartache to your set list," Kyle said.
"Since when do you do choreography?" Matt asked.
"Since now," Kyle replied, "I'm finally being utilized to my full potential here. I am amazing and it's about time everyone knows it."
"He's amazing," Miles said.
"Thanks Miles," Kyle said holding his fist out. Miles bumped it. "See he gets it."
"Careful Kyle, your ego is showing," Jared said.
"I blame Miles for that," Kyle said.
"I'm always your hype man," Miles replied.
"And I appreciate it," Kyle said holding his fist out again. Miles bumped it again.
"I don't, you hype each other up to do stupid shit," Jared replied.
"We have fun, don't be such a buzzkill," Kyle said.
"No offense Miles, but what are you doing here?" Noah asked.
"Moral support," Miles replied, "and someone's gotta hype Kyle up to do stupid shit."
"Exactly," Kyle said, holding out his fist once again. Miles quickly met him this time.
"You guys are ridiculous," Matt said shaking his head.
"Can we get to work?" Roldy asked, making himself known to the group. Everyone turned to look at him shocked. They had almost forgotten he was here. He was so quiet.
"Yes, Ro we need to get to work and stop questioning why Miles creepily follows me everywhere, but in his defense I fed him once and now he knows where the food is," Kyle said, causing everyone, Miles included, to laugh.
Kyle set about showing the guys the new routine him and Kendall had cooked up last night. Jared has some input. Accommodations had to be made for Roldy and his two left feet. The guys caught on quick.
Penelope entered the studio. She was four months pregnant now and had the smallest baby bump. She didn't seem happy as she saw Matt still dancing. Kyle and Miles steered clear of her.
"Don't tell me you forgot," Penelope said glaring at her boyfriend.
"I didn't forget I just got busy," Matt said, making a dash for his bag. "Sorry guys I gotta go."
"We are gonna be late," Penelope said.
"I'm sorry we were working on something new, but let's go," Matt said smiling at her. "Tell your dad we had an appointment to get to." He added to Kyle. They both left the studio together with Matt apologizing to her again.
"Will do," Kyle said. He turned back to the guys and saw that Noah and Roldy were gone.
"Where did-?" Kyle started.
"He can't be around Penelope long," Jared said slowly.
"Because he lost the baby?" Miles asked slowly.
"Yeah, he's taking it pretty hard," Jared said nodding his head.
"I get it, it sucks. I mean I couldn't hold or look at Eli for a while after-you know," Kyle said slowly. Miles and Jared nodded their heads.
Noah entered the studio again with his head down. The guys all shared a look.
"I think we should call it a day, Ro's not feeling well," Noah said.
"Go ahead, I'll tell dad you guys left," Kyle said.
Noah grabbed their bags and quickly left. Jared sighed as he sat down by the wall. Kyle walked over a day beside him. He rested his head on his shoulder.
"You're not mad at me are you?" Kyle asked softly.
"No, as soon as you left last night I missed you," Jared admitted.
"I'm sorry I'm stubborn," Kyle said.
"Me too, we're both stubborn," Jared said.
"Why don't you go home, I'll be over later," Kyle said.
"And go to that big empty house on my own, no thanks," Jared said.
"Look I know things didn't turn out the way you planned, but Jill and Carly are safe and taken care of, plus Dede moved up here to be closer to you and your brothers. They have a stable home now and you can visit whenever you want," Kyle said.
"This just sucks," Jared said.
"Life sucks," Kyle said.
"And then you die," Miles said as he walked over and sat down beside Kyle.
"Thanks guys, you're really cheering me up," Jared chuckled darkly.
"Just go home and rest. I'll deal with dad," Kyle said.
"Might as well, can't do much if the guys aren't here," Jared sighed. He stood up. He held a hand out to Kyle and helped him up. He gave Kyle a peck on the lips. "I'll order some take out, don't be late."
"Seven," Kyle said, "dad and I have some things we need to work out."
"It's a date," Jared said. He grabbed his bag and left the studio.
"So-" Miles said slowly.
"Shut up," Kyle said, grabbing Miles' hand and pulling him from the studio. He sent Kendall a quick text that the guys had to leave, and that he had something to do and would be back shortly.
He led Miles into the recording studio and locked the door behind them.
"I just want to say-" Miles started as he led Kyle towards the couch in the back of the room.
"I said shut up," Kyle said. He turned them around and shoved Miles down onto the couch. "Now is not the time for talking, Miles. You need to learn when to shut up."
"Make me," Miles challenged.
"I plan to." Kyle climbed on top of Miles. He sealed their lips together before Miles could say anything else.
—Happy Mistakes—
Noah silently followed Roldy into their apartment. Roldy hadn't said a word since they left the studio. He knew that Roldy was still upset over losing the baby. Seeing Penelope didn't help things either. It is not that it was her fault, but seeing her pregnancy go so smoothly when his pregnancy didn't was hard on him.
"Ro," Noah said.
"I don't wanna talk right now No," Roldy sighed as he tossed his bag aside and fell down onto the couch.
Noah grabbed his bag and set it in the closet where it belonged before joining Roldy on the couch. He placed a hand on Roldy's back. Roldy didn't move.
"Ro," Noah said softly.
"S'not air," Roldy said, his face still buried in the couch.
"What?" Noah asked.
Roldy sat up and turned to Noah. "It's not fair. They didn't even want a baby, and we did. I did everything right, this is so unfair."
"We can't change what happened Ro, and it's not right to take your anger out on Pen," Noah said.
"I know it's not her fault and I don't blame her, but I see her and I just get this empty feeling," Roldy said tears threatening to fall.
"Me too, I wanted that baby too," Noah said, "I still think about what could have been."
"I want to start a family, Noah," Roldy said, his tears finally fell. "I know you want a baby and I feel like I failed you."
"You didn't fail me," Noah said scooting closer to Roldy. "You didn't fail anybody. These things happen."
"It's gotta be because we went drinking before the wedding," Roldy said, not listening to Noah.
"You didn't know then, how were we supposed to know. It's not your fault," Noah said, taking Roldy's hands in his.
Roldy pulled his hands away. "Maybe it's because I didn't get to a doctor right away. I shouldn't have waited to make that appointment."
"We were stuck in a cabin for almost a week, it's not your fault," Noah said.
"Maybe I'm just broken," Roldy said.
"You're not listening to me," Noah said annoyed.
"And you're not listening to me," Roldy snapped jumping up. "What if there is something wrong with me?"
"There is nothing wrong with you Ro," Noah said, jumping up. He placed his hands on Roldy's cheeks and made him look at him. "These things just happen ok. You didn't do anything wrong, there is nothing wrong with you."
"Then why do I feel like shit?" Roldy asked, his tears flowing freely.
"Because you lost your baby. It's ok to grieve, but you have to stop beating yourself up. This wasn't your fault," Noah said, pulling Roldy into a kiss. "We will have a baby when we are supposed to."
"I'm sorry," Roldy said, pressing his face into Noah's chest. Noah wrapped his arms around Roldy. He held him tight.
"Don't be, it's gonna be ok," Noah said softly. He hoped that they could move past this and get back to normal, whatever that was.

Matt followed Penelope out to the parking lot. They had just gone to her sixteen week appointment. They had gotten to hear that baby's heartbeat today. It had been amazing to hear that sound. He still couldn't believe that they were going to have a baby come July.
"This gets more real every time we have an appointment," Penelope mused.
"I know, like I know you're pregnant and that there is a baby growing in there, but it still hasn't fully hit me that I'm gonna be a dad," Matt said.
"Hit you? I'm gonna be a mom. I'm gonna push a baby out of my-" Matt slapped a hand over Penelope's mouth and waved to mom and two kids that were passing them. Penelope lowered his hand. "Sorry and nice save."
"Come on let's go get something to eat. I'm starving," Matt said.
"Yes please, let's go get some Mexican," Penelope said.
"Are you sure, remember last time," Matt said.
"Hey, I will order something different this time. I just really want chips and queso," Penelope said.
Matt laughed and led her to his car. He took them to Penelope's favorite restaurant. Once they were seated and Penelope ordered her queso dip they fell into conversation about the baby again.
"So I've been thinking, a small one bedroom apartment isn't going to be enough room for a baby," Penelope said.
"I am one step ahead of you. I've been looking into getting a bigger apartment and maybe asking you to...you know...actually move in with me," Matt said.
"I thought we already did," Penelope said.
"I know I stay at your place a lot, but I mean like me actually moving out of my apartment and having one place together," Matt replied.
"Well then yes, I'd love to move in with you Matt," Penelope said smiling at him.
"Good, I was hoping you say that," Matt said smiling. He reached across the table and grabbed her hands. She smiled as he kissed her knuckles. "How are you so perfect for me?"
"Because we are meant to be," Penelope said smiling at him.
Their waiter came and took their order. Matt shifted in his seat. There was something he wanted to talk to Penelope about, but he wasn't sure how to bring it up.
"Is something wrong?" Penelope asked.
"We need to talk about Ro," Matt said.
"Right," Penelope said, her hand coming to rest on her small baby bump. "I feel so bad for him. I can't imagine what he's going through and here I am throwing it in his face."
"No you're not, it's not your fault," Matt said quickly.
"I know that, but I feel awkward around him now, like I don't know what to say," she said.
"Me too honestly," Matt admitted. "God I feel like such a bad friend. We hardly talk anymore."

"Dr. Mitchell!"
Logan looked up as one of the first year medial students ran up to him in a panic.
"What wrong," Logan asked.
"Dr. Jacobi sent me. There was a freeway pile up and the ER needed all hands on board," she said.
Logan ran down to the ER with her. It was in full chaos. He ran to the nurse station to get some details. People were still coming in on ambulances. More students were coming in. Logan took charge and told the med students what to do and how to handle the lesser injured people.
He started to quickly examine people. He moved from one to the next based on his assessment of people who needed help.
"Mitchell."
Logan turned as the chief of medicine, Dr. Alana Ramsey, approached him. She was a tall imposing woman. She got shit done when needed.
"I need you in the OR, we have a 20 something coming in, with massive internal bleeding. You are my last surgeon in the building," Chief Ramsey said.
"Lead the way, do you have a team for me?" Logan asked.
"We've got surgical interns scrubbing up and I will assist," Chief Ramsey said, leading him away to the trauma bay where the ambulance was here. Paramedics came rushing off with two patients. Logan's jaw dropped as he recognized them.
"Logan!?"
"Jake?"
—Happy Mistakes—
Kyle made his way into Jared's house. Even after everything that had gone down with Jill and Carly, he kept the house. He couldn't live in that apartment forever. He was glad that Jared had his own place now and they didn't have to worry about Noah and Roldy walking in on them anymore.
He made his way to the kitchen. Jared was preparing their food. He could smell something Italian.
Kyle stood there a moment watching him. He smiled at how adorable Jared could be. He was putting their food on plates and getting everything set up for a date night. He had candles on the table and was hard a work preparing the food.
There was a wine glass on the counter, next to him. Jared had started drinking wine as of late. Ever since Penelope had gotten pregnant she had given away her open wine and Jared had fallen in love with it. Wine drunk was different.
He looked Jared up and down. There was just something about him. Kyle couldn't help but be turned out by this man. He was sexy and he didn't even try.
Kyle felt a pang of guilt wash over him as he thought of Miles, but he quickly pushed that thought from his head. That was nothing compared to what he and Jared had. That was just bros helping bros. Right now he was with Jared, not Miles.
Jared turned around and nearly jumped out of his skin as he noticed Kyle for the first time.
"Could you be any quieter?" Jared asked, placing a hand over his heart.
"Honey I'm home," Kyle said simply, with a wicked grin.
He walked up to the older male and picked up the wine glass. He took a sip despite the glare Jared was giving him.
"Not bad," Kyle said, "another suggestion from Pen?"
"Yes and no wine for you, it's a school night," Jared said, reaching for the glass. Kyle pulled it back and took another big sip. Jared made another grab for it getting in Kyle's personal space.
"Why Mister Munroe you are standing awfully close there," Kyle said in a southern accent. He took one last sip of wine before setting the glass aside. "If you wanted to kiss me all you had to do was ask." He placed a finger under Jared's chin, tilting his head up.
"I think you are mistaken sir, it seems you're the one trying to get into my pants," Jared replied cheekily.
"Is it working?" Kyle asked as he sealed their lips together in a filthy kiss that was all tongue and teeth.
They parted gasping and looking at one another hungrily. Kyle saw the conflict in Jared's eyes as he glanced to the food he had been preparing.
"What do you say we skip the main course and go straight to dessert?" Kyle asked his hands coming down to rest on Jared's hips. He pulled him close.
"The food will get cold," Jared said, making no move to leave. His hands came up to Kyle's shirt. He started to unbutton it.
"That's what a microwave is for," Kyle replied.
"But it's not the same," Jared said as Kyle pulled Jared's short over his head.
"Yeah, and final offer here, kitchen sex is so hot," Kyle countered as he attached his lips to Jared's neck.
"Valid point," Jared replied, giving into the younger male's advances.
Kyle pushed Jared into the counter and dropped to his knees. He quickly opened Jared's jeans and pulled them down with his underwear. Before Jared could protest Kyle engulfed him in one swift motion. Jared's knees buckled and he had to grab the counter to keep himself upright. Kyle expertly bobbed his head milking Jared for all his worth.
Kyle stood up quickly wiping his mouth on his sleeve. He grinned at Jared as he opened one of the drawers and came out with a tube of lube and a condom. He had started hiding live around the house for their various excursions.
"Really?" Jared asked.
"It saves time so we don't have to run to the bedroom," Kyle said, "now turn around."
"And if I don't?" Jared asked teasingly as he pushed Kyle's shirt off his shoulders. He leaned forward and nipped at his ear, a sensitive spot.
"Turn around," Kyle commanded. He spun the older male around. He pushed him down against the counter.
"Bossy today," Jared said.
"I know what I want," Kyle said.
He made quick work of prepping Jared. Soon was he thrusting into that tight heat. Jared was panting and begging for more.
"You're so needy," Kyle said, placing a hand on Jared's shoulder as he changed the angle of his thrust.
"Fuck, there," Jared shouted.
Kyle grinned as he continued his assault on Jared's prostate. He rammed into the older man as hard as he could. Jared was loving it. Kyle felt himself nearing the edge, he could tell Hared was close too. It was long before they were both coming.
Jared slumped against the counter as Kyle slid the condom off and threw it away. He walked back over to Jared. Jared stood up and turned to face the blonde. He quickly pulled him in for a kiss. Kyle grinned into the kiss and pulled him closer.
"Not that I'm complaining, but what brought that on?" Jared asked as he pulled his jeans back up.
"I can't help myself when I'm around you," Kyle said as he fixed his jeans, leaving them open at his waist.
Jared turned and smiled at the blonde. He grabbed the two plates and held them out to Kyle.
"Heat them back up now," Jared said. He the. Grabbed a rag to clean up his mess.
"Yes sir," Kyle said sassily, as he walked over to the microwave.
"So how did your studio session go?" Jared asked as he ran a hand through his hair trying to smooth it out. He pulled his phone out to check how it looked.
"Don't do that," Kyle said watching his every move.
"Do what?" Jared asked.
"Be all sexy like that," Kyle said, "that's how you end up on the counter getting fucked again."
"Ah to be young and horny," Jared chuckled as he walked up to the blonde. He leaned in close to his lover.
"Stop," Kyle said looking Jared up and down.
"What if I don't want to?" Jared asked.
Kyle grabbed Jared's hand and placed it over his hardening member. "Don't start what you can't finish old man."
"I'm not that old," Jared replied, snaking his hand into Kyle's jeans. He pushed them down again. He started to stroke the blonde as he kissed his neck earning soft mewls of delight from his boyfriend.
"Round 2?" Kyle asked as he grabbed Jared's arm and led him from the kitchen.
He raced up the stairs with Jared right behind him. There was no complaint about the food this time.

Kendall yawned as he entered the house. It was a little after six and it was a madhouse. He entered the living room and found the chaos. Miri and Jenny were running around screaming and Kenny was trying to keep up with them. On top of all that Eli was screaming his head off as James tried to soothe him.
"Help," James said looking at the girls.
Kendall caught the two girls and brought them over to the couch. He quickly turned a movie on that caught their attention. He then turned to Kenny and picked him up.
"Where are the boys?" Kendall asked.
"Adam is stuck at work, and can't get a hold of Cooper," James said as Eli finally started to calm down.
"What about Jake?" Kendall asked.
"Don't know, he hasn't called and I'm a little worried," James said.
"I'm sure he's fine. He's probably busy with classes and I'm sure Damien is at work," Kendall said waving a hand.
He walked over to the couch and sat down with Kenny. James joined them. Jenny and Miri fell asleep on top of one another. James places Eli in the playpen once he fell asleep. Kenny was wide awake and ready to play when Adam and Cooper arrived. They seemed to have been bickering before they arrived.
"Everything alright boys?" Kendall asked.
"I am so sorry we are late. I told Adam I was staying late for a study group. We were doing a practice LSAT and I lost track of time my phone was off," Cooper said.
"I was stuck at work, I couldn't just leave the dinner rush to Sam on his own," Adam said.
"Adam you have two kids to take care of and I am almost certain Sam was telling you to go the whole time," Cooper said, turning to Adam.
"Yeah, but we were already down a cook and I couldn't just leave before Beth got there. She was stuck in traffic. Besides, dad and pops don't mind," Adam said.
"We don't mind," James said quickly, trying to defuse the situation.
"That's not the point," Cooper said, shaking his head. "Adam you can't just expect everyone to watch the kids whenever. You have to be responsible."
"You have two kids too, why was your phone off," Adam asked.
"I told you I had a study group. I couldn't miss this Adam, I told you. This is probably one of the most important tests that will help me get into law school," Cooper said.
Kendall and James shared a look. They hadn't realized they were arguing this bad. Kendall quickly stepped in.
"Boys," Kendall cut in.
"Sorry," they said together.
"Coop has been under a lot of pressure. He's had to take the LSAT this summer, and I am a spoiled brat who takes advantage of my dads because they let me," Adam said.
"Well he's not wrong," James said looking at Kendall. "I mean he was supposed to be here at two and it's almost seven now."
"Yeah and you're an enabler," Kendall said.
"Don't blame me," James said.
"We are all to blame, but like seriously I couldn't leave Sam all alone. Beth was stuck in traffic on the freeway. There was like a big pile up or something. She said it looked gnarly," Adam said.
"Why's Eli still here?" Cooper asked, suddenly noticing the small baby in the playpen.
"Jake also hasn't shown up," James said, "he hasn't called and I'm a little worried."
"I'm sure he's fine," Kendall said.
"That's not like Jake," Adam said adding to James' worry.
"I know that's why I think something is wrong," James said.
"You worry too much," Kendall said.
The front door opened and hurried footsteps were heard. Jake entered the living room in a rush. He had a gash above his eye with eight stitches and other cuts and bruises on his arms and face.
"I don't worry enough," James said, smacking Kendall's arm. "Jake what happened." He ran over to his son giving him a look over.
"Uh...there was a car accident," Jake said slowly, like he was still in shock.
"Come sit," Kendall directed Jake to the chair.
"Were you guys in the pileup on the freeway?" Adam asked.
Jake nodded his head numbly. He seemed to be at a loss for words.
"Where's Damien?" Cooper asked snapping Jake out of his daze.
"We were on our way here after class. Damien convinced me to get a quick lunch before we picked up Eli," Jake said his eyes held a far off look in them.
"What happened?" Kendall asked.
"I don't know, one minute we are driving and the next we're not. We spun out and the driver's side was hit dead on. Damien has been in surgery for like four hours now and I had to come see Eli, I couldn't sit there and wait anymore. It was driving me crazy," Jake said looking down at his bloodstained jeans. "There was so much blood. I don't know if it was mine or his or what caused the accident."
"Jake, you should be at the hospital with Damien," Kendall said.
"Camille and Steve are there, I didn't tell them I was leaving," Jake said slowly.
"You're in shock," James said.
"Yeah, I also have like two broken ribs and the pain medicine they gave is starting to wear off." Jake nodded his head. "Where's Eli?"
A knock at the door caught their attention. Adam ran to answer it as James grabbed Eli for Jake. Adam entered the room with Steve hot on his heels.
"There you are, you scared us," Steve said relieved. "We didn't know where you went."
"Sorry, I needed to see Eli," Jake said looking at his baby. "I couldn't stand waiting. It was driving me nuts and I-I don't know, next thing I knew I was here." He knew with his injuries he probably shouldn't hold Eli right now.
"Are you sure you don't have a concussion?" Kendall asked his son.
"I probably do, they had like twenty people in from the accident and the ok ones were rushed through like me," Jake said.
"Jake, I think we should go back to the hospital," Steve said.
"I know, I just...I panicked," Jake said.
"Jake, we will take care of Eli," Kendall said.
"Yeah go be with Damien," James said.
"Let's get you cleaned up first," Adam said, jumping in. "Steve you go back and I'll bring Jake as soon as he's ready."
Steve nodded his head. He promised to call if anything changed. Once he was gone Adam led Jake upstairs to the bathroom. He left him to wash up but not shower because of his stitches. Adam then ran to Kyle's room and grabbed some sweats and a shirt. He returned to find Jake staring at himself in front of the sink.
"Here, these should fit," Adam said holding the clothes out to him. Jake thanked him. "Now hurry up, so we can get to the hospital."
"We?" Jake asked.
"I'm coming with you, he's my best friend, you know," Adam said.
"Thanks Adam," Jake said, "but what about-"
"I'll watch the kids don't worry," Cooper said as he walked up the stairs. "Your dads are coming with and I'll watch Eli and Jenny as well."
"Thanks Coop," Jake said.
"No problem, now get going," Cooper said, digging his car keys from his pocket. "Leora should be home soon. You guys just go."
