What is this?

Below is a "small" preview of what's to come.

Why post this now?

Because if even one person out there has felt I may have been onto something or just enjoyed my writing I want them to know that I haven't dropped this story, that it is and will continue to be my passion project.

What took you so long?

Honestly? I lost my drive to write once a large chunk of the foundation I had set for the story I had in mind got deleted and I had to try and restart from scratch. Trying to rewrite the story exactly has I had previously was frustrating because I KNEW my writing could and was better but nevertheless I'm sorry and want you to know I'll keep going.

This is already long enough but I want you all to know that I initially posted this because I thought having it online would hold me more accountable and that I might feel more pressure to finish Otto which that kinda failed haha. I can't lie and say that this was 100% thought out from the start but I do have things in mind and I want to evolve not just as a writer but as a person by pushing this out here. If you have anymore questions ask away and I'll do my best to answer.

Preview of what's to come below.

Tim looked out across the once familiar streets. I'm his absence things had changed and he wasn't sure which he felt more, happiness that his once bland neighborhood had seemingly sprung to life while he was away or sadness that some things hadn't remained the same. He took a sip of his hot cocoa basking in the heat that traveled down his throat throughout his chest. Warmth, memories and a touch of nostalgia as he caught the hint of red hair turning down his street. A new warmth grew inside his chest and he smiled, He made his way away from the window finishing his mug and calmly but quickly slipped into a black turtleneck and dark grey joggers, by the time he was outside the woman had made it down the street her torso length sapphire hair swishing side to side as she all but glided along.

"Vicky!" Time called out but figured the lack of reaction was due to their distance so jogged to catch up, He almost opted to pace behind scooping an eyeful of how form fitting her jeans were, nevertheless he pressed himself forwards upon which he tapped her shoulder whatever words he had prepared died in his throat the moment fierce jade eyes snapped to his rose pink gaze. They both froze and looked at each other, although she wasn't Vicky he knew that she was someone he used to know. The strangers eye lit up with familiarity and before he knew it he was wrapped into a near bone crushing hug.

"TIMMY TURNER!, how long have you been back, do you even remember me? I remember you used to be the as tall as my waist and look at you now, grew up to be a hunk of a man while you were gone I see?" Her words were like silk, nothing but soothing to his ears. He returned her hug with one of his own " puberty can be a miracle worker sometimes, it has been a handful of years though how have you been? Are you and Mark still together, I heard he got deported. can I call you Mandy or are you still going by Man-Die?" That earned him a playful slap on his chest and a giggle from her " please, don't remind me about that phase okay? Mark CHOSE to leave back to his home a few years ago but I had already made a life fire myself here that and out relationships hadn't been the healthiest from the start so I decided to stay rather than leave. When I'm not filming or making content for my job I'm just enjoying myself. I was just on a walk do you want to come along?"
