"Jack, Jay Jay just pulled up." Rosa announced to the room. "Ah, better late than never I guess. Okay, I'll let Jordy know he can start getting dinner ready." Jack got up and Cynthia stopped him. "You see your son. I'll let Jordy know." then she gave her husband a kiss and disappeared into the kitchen.

"You're gonna love Jack, Jr. He's a riot." Logan turned to speak to Louise. Louise got up and headed to the sunroom where everyone else was gathering. She took his hand in hers as they sat in the loveseat waiting.

"Wow! You never told me you were loaded!" Louise's ear perked up and she looked at Logan wide-eyed. He knitted his brows together in confusion, "What?" Louise knew that voice better than she knew her own. She got up, pulling Logan with her.

"Jessica?!?!" she shouted as she saw her best friend with a much younger version of Logan's stepfather, Jack. "WEEZEY!!!" Jessica ran over and gave Louise a tight hug. "What the Hell are you doing here, Weezey?" The two girls began chatting amongst themselves, while Logan, Jack, Cynthia, and Jack, Jr watched them.

"So, I take it my girl and your girl know each other?" Logan asked Jay Jay. "A bit." Jay Jay retorted with a snort. He walked over and put his arm around Jessica's waist. "Babe, you gonna introduce me to your friend?" Jessica looked up and smiled.

"Jay, this is my best friend in the whole world, Louise Elizabeth Belcher, or as I call her, Weezey." Jessica playfully punched her friend's shoulder. "Do not call me Weezey, you tart. Hi, Jay Jay, is it? Just call me Louise. Better for your own health and safety." She stuck her hand out for a handshake, but he pulled her into a hug instead.

Logan came over at that moment and introduced himself to Jessica. "Louise, isn't this the guy you crushed on since we were like, 10?" Louise gave Jessica her deadliest glare. "Shut it, you butt." Logan smirked and hugged Louise from behind, "Aww Four Ears, you did care." he said nuzzling against her ear. Louise rolled her eyes, but couldn't stop the smile that spread across her face.

Jay Jay took Logan off to the side, and they disappeared shortly after. Louise caught up with Jessica. "So, Jay is quite the looker." Jessica smiled widely, "I don't know what he sees in me. I'm in love, Louise. For the first time in my life, I am in love. He didn't even tell me he had money. We've been together for, what, 4 months now. Sorry I didn't introduce you, but now? What do you think?"

Louise smiled at her friend's happiness, "Wait, four months? I thought you just started seeing him!" Jessica shrugged, "I just recently told you about him and thought you'd be pissed that I never told you." Louise sighed, "Well, he seems great. Logan told me so much about him. I don't think I have ever seen you like this. It's nice."

Jessica lowered her voice. "So, Logan? When did that happen?" Louise smiled and told her about "running" into him on her jog a couple weeks ago. "I didn't even know he was back. I mean, you're the only one that ever knew about my crush, um, thanks for that by the way." She playfully smacked Jessica's arm. "Louise, um, there's something else, I..." Just then everyone was called to the dining room for dinner. Jessica sighed, "Later."

They all sat at the long table as dinner came out. "Ah, Jay Jay, chef made all of your favorites!" Cynthia exclaimed. Louise was expecting some weird gourmet meal, but was surprised when there was fried chicken, corn on the cob, mashed potatoes, and a fresh garden salad. "Nice!" Jack Jr. smiled as he filled his plate, and Jessica eyed up the salad.

Dinner was wonderful and the conversation flowed easily. Louise was surprised at how at ease she felt. Logan grabbed her hand under the table as dessert arrived;. a black forest cake. He leaned in and whispered in her ear, "Can I steal you for a minute?" She looked over and nodded. "Excuse us a moment." He said as they got up and walked out onto the back patio.

"What's going on? I wanted cake." Louise turned to face Logan. He chuckled. "Don't worry, this won't take long. So, you saw me talking with Jay Jay earlier, right?" She nodded, "Well, after dessert, he's making an announcement, and I just want to prepare you before you freak out." Louise looked at him confused. "Why would I freak out?"

"Well, I take it Jessica did not say anything to you, then?" he asked before stepping closer. "Well, she was about to tell me something when dinner was announced, but then just said she'd tell me later." Logan took her hand and looked back towards the doors before walking them further from the house.

"Jay's going to propose." he simply said. "Okay, that's sudden, but no reason for me to freak out." Louise answered as she shrugged her shoulders. "Well, that's just the first bit of news," Logan now looked as if he was going to be sick. "Well, you see, um, Jessica just found out that she's pregnant." Louise's mouth fell open. Jessica, her best friend, pregnant, and she hadn't told Louise as soon as she found out? "What the Hell! How long have they known?" she shrieked.

"Louise, this is what I meant by freaking out. They just found out yesterday, Jay said. She doesn't know he's proposing though." Louise had to sit. Logan knelt down in front of her. "You okay?" he asked warily. She put her head in her hands. "This is just...fuck. I guess I should be supportive, I mean, I am her best friend. Shit, her parents are going to flip out on her." Logan rubbed circles around her back, calming her instantly.

"Thank you for that. How do I look?" Logan chuckled, "You look good, Four Ears." He got up and offered her a hands which Louise took, pulling him into a hug. "Is he a good person, Logan? Be honest." He kissed the top of her head and answered, "He's the best person." They made their way back inside and Louise smiled when she saw they saved her a piece of cake.

"There you two are. Louise, sweetie, everything okay?" Cynthia asked sincerely. "Yes, just having a chat. Thank God, you saved me some cake!" Louise took a bite and was in Heaven. She changed a look over at Jessica who was waiting for her to make eye contact. Louise raised an eyebrow and smiled causing her best friend to relax and breathe a sigh of relief.

Tink, tink, tink* Jay Jay clinked his glass. "Can I have everyone's attention?" Louise grabbed Logan's hand under the table and he gave it a reassuring squeeze.

"I am so glad to be here with you all tonight. Dad, Cynthia? You guys are amazing. I am truly lucky to have a wonderful dad and an amazing stepmom. My real mom was lost to us when I was just 14, so it's nice to have one again. But let me get to the real reason for this speech. Jessica and I just found out that we are expecting. This was a complete surprise to us both, but not an unwanted one by any means.

He searched the room and saw shocked faces. He smiled then continued, "Jess, I know we have only been together a short time, but I have known since our second date that you are the woman I want to spend the rest of my life with, so," Jay Jay took a ring box out of his pocket, kneeling on one knee, and Jessica gasped. "Jessica Katherine Hahn, you have brought love into my life from the moment you spilled your hot chocolate on me, four months ago." Jessica laughed through teary eyes. "You are sweet, kind, caring, and beautiful. Will you make me the happiest man in the world and be my wife?"

Jessica lunged at him, wrapping her arms around Jay's neck. "Of course I will you silly man!" They began kissing each other to wolf whistles and clapping. Louise looked over at Logan who actually had tears in his eyes as he grinned widely at his step-brother and Jessica.

Jack got up and hugged his son, as Cynthia wiped tears off her face with a napkin. "Congratulations, son! I'm gonna be a grandpop!" Jack yelled and then picked Cynthia up and kissed her. "Congratulations, grandpop." she quipped. "Well, that makes you a Grandmom, Cyn, so wiped that smirk off your face." Everyone laughed and the rest of the evening was spent with laughter and lots of hugs.

Jess: Hey, thanks for not freaking out! Really happy right now. Told mom and dad a bit ago, and they were actually supportive. Fucking surprised the Hell out of my ass!

Louise: Logan prepared me or I would have! Happy for you. Can't believe I am going to be an aunt!

Jess: And of course, you'll be my maid of honor. Jay's asking Logan to be his best man. We've already decided to just do a small ceremony in Jack and Cynthia's backyard. Speaking of Logan. Hot damn! He's fucking hot! The sex must be amazing!

Louise: Calm down, bitch. Hahahaha! He is though. I'm falling fast, Jess! I have never felt like this. He's incredible. He treats me with respect, but isn't a pushover. He cooks for me, oh and it's so damn good. When we had sex the first time, he was so...oh I cannot think of a word for it. Fuck! I love him, Jess! I'm in love with him!

Jess: Holy shit! Never thought I'd live to see it! My little Wheezy is all grown up! Gotta go. Jay just came in... naked! TTYL!

Louise smiled then plugged her phone in to charge. *bzzzzz* She picked it up and saw Logan's picture. "Hey, you. I was just about to go to sleep." Louise said as she answered his call. "Damn, I was going to try to coerce you into coming over. My bed is so cold and lonely without you here." Louise smiled as she clutched her phone in her hands contemplating the offee. "Give me fifteen minutes." She hung up and packed an overnight bag.

Her parents had long gone to bed, so she wrote them a note letting ttem know she had left for Logan's but would be back in time for her shift the next morning. She closed the door, got into her car and drove to Logan's. He was waiting outside for her when she pulled up. "There's my beautiful woman." His hair was rumpled and he was wearing joggers and a tight tee shirt. Louise jumped into his arms and kissed him. "Mmm, missed you." she whined causing him to smile againdt her neck.

They headed up the elevator to his apartment and Honey ran out to greet them. "There's our princess!" Louise squealed as she scooped up the orange furball. Logan smiled at her remark and felt a flutter in his stomach. He was in love with her, he already knew the moment her lips first crashed into his that first day. He wanted to wake up to her every morning and fall asleep next to her every night. He wanted to tell her, but he also didn't want to scare her away.

They made their way into the bedroom, Honey followed and curled up in her corner of the room. They both brushed their teeth then headed to bed. "Come here you." Louise giggled as Logan rolled her closer to him. He nuzzled his nose into her neck. "I could get used to this." he mumbled. Louise could too. She felt so relaxed and at ease in his apartment. "Me too, but unfortunately, I go back to school in five weeks. You'll wait for me right?" she asked suddenly feeling a tightness in her chest at the thought of not being with him.

"What kind of question is that? You know you're the only one for me, Four Ears. I love you." Logan winced as he waited for her to berate him for saying those last three words. Louise's heart beat faster. "What did you say?" She turned over to face him, leaning up on her elbow. 'Fuck it!' Logan thought to himself, then kissed Louise. "I said, I love you, Louise. I can't help it. I've felt it ever since that first day. I..." he was cut off by her lips crashing into his. She leaned her forehead against his, "I love you too, Logan, so much."

The night was a blur after that. Clothes were removed, hands roamed, pleasure was sought and love was made. They laid in bed panting in the afterglow. "That was... amazing." Logan smiled at Louise's breathless confession. "Yeah, it was. Five weeks. Do you think you'll want to stay with me until you leave then? No pressure. I just want to spend as much time with you as possible." Louise thought a few minutes. She'd probably get a ton of grief from her parents, but she was an adult. "I'll tell my mom and dad tomorrow." Logan pulled her close as they drifted off to sleep.

Working on several fanfics at once was not a good idea, but I can't help it. Hope you enjoyed this chapter.
