A/N: hey. So I'm back. Stuff happened. Please excuse my mistakes I have no beta—more notes at the bottom. Anyway, enjoy!

( Caroline's POV)

Her eyes started to get bored of the ever-changing landscapes. "Nothing she hasn't seen before, witnessing as she made the trip to Beacon Hills hundreds of times," She mused. As she stared out the window, her thoughts wandered back to the day before and her conversation with Klaus.

"First, you're going to tell me your reason for this drop-in, and if I deem it worthy, I'll name my price."

By the time he finished, she could feel her anger bubbling over.

That arrogant bastard that thought she would do what he wanted- This isn't for you; this is for Stiles, your twin brother, the one who told terrible jokes to make you smile when you were sick, the one who held you while you cried when you found out you were leaving, the one who called you at midnight every birthday, the one you left behind- "Caroline" her thoughts were suddenly interrupted. Klaus was still waiting for an answer, she realized.

"For Stiles," she thought before she made her decision.

She took a deep breath then nodded" Fine," she muttered," A demonic fox spirit is in California possessing my brother Stiles, and I would like it to get the hell out of him." She huffed.

His face remained stoic, not fazed by the information she relented at all. Weird, she thought. As she decided to pocket that reaction, Klaus quickly stood up from his spit near the fireplace.

"We leave tomorrow at seven, don't be late, and due try not to pack any unnecessary items there is only so much room in the car. He started to move out of the room, leaving me gaping but tight. Before he walked out, he turned to me and said

"Close the door on the way out," leaving the room entirely with a smug grin on his face.

She quickly shook her head out from memory and turned to contemplate what a peculiar scene laid out before her. The original hybrid, trying to kill all her friends, actually killed Elena even though she returned, but he still did it. He was the embodiment of everything that's happened; he was a reminder of what happened, but all it took was quick in the back to remember her past life. Seeing Lydia in the car with Klaus felt like a dream. She felt like two different people looking at them. It was like combining two other worlds.

So... It's been a minute. I apologize for taking so long with the update, life happened, and I had to put this story on the back burner. But I'm back. Kinda. I do want to clarify, though, that this story is for fun, so updating it will be when I feel like it.
