Hello! I would like to start off with an apology for updating late… I was going to update on Monday (yesterday) like normal but I had to go with my dad to pick up some chairs and that took a while. So, that mixed with having also gone to school that day, I was quite tired (I usually nap every day after I get home from school) so I ended up completely forgetting.

I would like to thank everyone who has reviewed this story and left lovely messages for me to read. I usually read them when I'm at school and it makes a boring day a little brighter! Thank you guys for returning for the next chapter, you're the reason I continue writing in the first place!

Now…on with the story!

"Hand me my ticket, please." The velvet spoke again. The three men had quieted down and now talked in low voices to each other. I shuffled through apps on my phone, attempting to keep myself busy, but looked up every once in a while, hoping he would turn his head so I could look at his face again.

The larger one seemed to rummage through a small backpack he had slung over his shoulder until he looked up to the bronze haired boy with flushed cheeks.

"What?" The blonde haired one said, his tone cautious and eyes widening slightly. The large man hesitated, stuttering over his words.

"I . . . uh, well . . . it seems I forgot your ticket . . ." He said quietly but just loud enough for me to hear. I know it sounds like I was eavesdropping, but they were standing right in front of me and . . . well I really just wanted to hear his voice more.

"You what?" The velvet was louder this time, slightly sharp and a little harsh but didn't sound any less smooth.

"I forgot your ticket." He ducked his head, almost as if he was preparing for the impact of the bronze haired boy's fist.

"I heard you the first time, Emmett." He huffed. Emmett. Now I could put a name to one of the faces. "What are we supposed to do? We don't have enough time to go back to the house and get it." His mood was the complete opposite of what it had been just minutes before. He no longer laughed beautifully but scolded harshly.

I swallowed the lump that had grown in my throat as I rubbed the two concert tickets that resided in my left coat pocket.

"How did you even manage that? Weren't they all together on the counter?" The blonde one questioned, his tone frustrated but not nearly as much as the velvet.

"I don't know, Jasper. Maybe one fell on the floor. They were all on top of each other so I didn't notice one was missing." He sounded desperate for forgiveness, I almost wanted to hug him and tell him that everything was going to be alright. And that I had an extra ticket . . .

Jasper. That was the blonde one. But the velvet still remained nameless.

And that's when something marvellous happened. The bronze haired boy removed his toque and ran one of his large hands through the smooth strands. I almost gasped. It looked so soft, so smooth, so shiny. Oh, how I wished I could touch it.

I squeezed the tickets between my pointer finger and thumb. This is what Alice wanted, for me to give my ticket to someone. But I hadn't even said hello to him yet, I didn't even know his name. For all I knew, I could give him my ticket and he just buggers off without even a thank you.

But, what if he didn't do those things?

I took a deep ragged breath in and stepped forward, reaching my hand up to tap the bronze haired boy's shoulder. I had to reach up quite high, his shoulder was almost at my nose. Immediately I stepped back, my heart beating in my chest a million miles a minute. I could hear the pulse in my ears, a steady, but fast and loud thud. Emmett and Jasper both looked at me with curiosity as the other slowly turned around.

Here we go.

My eyes were wide when they landed on his angel-like face. It was much more beautiful close up. Just as I had remembered from when I saw him earlier that day, all the angles, all the curves were completely perfect. I swear I was holding my breath because when I went to speak, all that came out was a big puff of air.

"Hi." I said in a small voice. Heat flooded my cheeks so I was sure I was the colour of a tomato.

"Hi." He responded with a chuckle, a small but crooked smile graced his face and I almost passed out at the sight. He seemed a little surprised.

I swallowed hard before continuing, taking another deep breath in. "So, um, well I heard you forgot your ticket and," I paused for a moment and licked my lips. "Well my friend sort of bailed on me last minute and I had already bought a ticket and I didn't have enough time to find someone else to go with or to sell it to," I spoke fast, forcing the words out, but not too fast that he couldn't understand.

I paused again for a couple of seconds. "I guess what I'm trying to say is that I have an extra ticket and I can tell you really want to go to this concert, so . . ." I let the sentence end there and pulled out one of the tickets from my pocket.

I held out my hand, which was shaking slightly, and waited for him to take the ticket from me. I waited for him to grab it from my hand and turn back around just to brush me off. But he didn't, he just stood there with a confused look on his face. His brow was furrowed and I almost wanted to reach up and smooth it out, to let his face relax.

He seemed to stutter over his words slightly. "Oh, I, well," The smallest of smiles pushed itself to the surface of my face, I'm sure you could only tell if you focused. "Are you sure?" He tilted his head down towards me the slightest bit.

"Bro, she just offered you a free ticket. Take it." Emmett punched his arm, shoving him a little bit.

"But," I held up my other hand just a little. "All I ask in return is . . ." I couldn't finish the sentence. It was too weird of a question. Why did I start talking?

"What?" He pressed, intrigued.

"Your name." I somehow mustered the courage to say. It came out confidently, surprisingly.

He didn't hesitate to respond, "Edward." Edward, the bronze haired boy, the velvet, was actually named Edward. "Yours?" He questioned hesitantly.

"Isabella, but everyone calls me Bella." I was surprised at my sudden confidence, where was this coming from? Was Alice somehow possessing me from the comfort of her own bed? I shuddered at the thought.

His smile returned, which caused mine to grow. It was noticeable now. "Bella," He breathed. I was never a huge fan of my name but it sounded surprisingly good when he said it.

I pushed my hand closer to him, reminding him of our deal. "Here."

He slowly reached his hand up and grasped the ticket. "Thank you. Really." He said softly. I nodded in response.

"The ticket would have just gone to waste anyway." I shrugged my shoulders. We were both silent for a moment, he actually had almost completely turned back around when he reversed his movement and faced me again.

"Would you . . ." He hesitated. He held up the hand that held the ticket and sort of pointed at me. "I mean, since you're here alone and all," He motioned to Emmett and Jasper. He didn't have to finish his sentence for me to understand. I waited a couple seconds before nodding, answering his question.

"As long as I'm not intruding." I said, slightly worried that the other guys would not like my company. They all just shook their heads.

"It's fine, we love hanging out with new people." Emmett said, he then reached out his hand. "Emmett." I know. I reached out my hand as well and shook it. "And that over there," He nodded towards Jasper. "Is Jasper." I know. Just like with Emmett, I shook his hand and we exchanged quiet hellos.

There was an awkward silence for a few minutes. I was desperate for this weird feeling to go away so I just blurted out what came into my head first. "So, Foreigner. How 'bout 'em?" Everyone just busted into laughter and so did I after a few seconds of embarrassment.

"Well," Edward began. I immediately put my full attention on him. "We've all been listening to them for as long as we can remember, our parents love them." A large but crooked smile graced his face as he spoke.

"You're all brothers?" I questioned.

"I'm the oldest, and Edward here," Emmett slammed a hand down on Edward's shoulder. "Is the youngest." He grinned.

"Are you guys attending any post-secondary schools?" I asked. Edward spoke first.

"I went to the U of A after graduation and just got my masters in psychology last year after three years. I can get a doctoral degree but that can be up to six more years and I don't want to spend any more time in school." He went on. It was quite cute, he explained every part of his schooling and I could tell that Emmett and Jasper were getting a little tired of it. "And you didn't need to know all that." Edward said with a small chuckle.

I laughed. "No, it's fine. So do you have one of those big offices with the big wooden desks?" I asked with a smile.

He shook his head and replied. "I'm actually taking this year off, since I didn't after graduation. How about you, are you attending any schools?" Before I answered I quickly calculated the years in my head. If I was correct, he was twenty two.

"I just graduated from high school last year and now I'm going to the U of A for English. I want to be an author" I stated. Before Edward could respond, Emmett spoke.

"I play in a band with a few friends, we don't make a whole lot but we're pretty fortunate to have parents that can still help us out." Emmett said.

"And I own a coffee shop, it's quite small but I really enjoy it." He was smiling a little bit when he spoke. I wonder if I'd ever gone to his cafe before.

I hadn't even noticed we made it to the front of the line until I heard someone ask for our tickets. We got them scanned by the man standing there and walked into the casino.
