Hello, hello, hello! Welcome back for another update! Can you guys believe that tomorrow is already December first? Christmas is going to be here before we know it! Should I do some type of Christmas fic? I love those…

Sorry for rambling, here is the chapter! Go one and read.

There weren't any specific places for people to stand or sit, so all four of us were very fortunate to find a space right in the front. The lights were still on in the very large room. There was a massive stage taking up a lot of the space but there was still lots of room left for fans to stand and listen to the amazing music that Foreigner created.

The room was loud, everyone talking at once, but one specific voice cut through them all, as if no one else was talking anymore and he began to yell into the silence. "So, what other bands do you like?" I looked to my left to see Edward right next to me, his head leaning down towards me to make sure I could hear him.

"Pardon?" I asked, I heard the question that he asked me but was still baffled that a Greek God, such as him, would speak to a peasant, such as me. He leaned closer to me, I could practically feel his breath wash over my face. It smelt a little like coffee. I liked coffee, very much in fact. My heart rate sped just the slightest bit.

"I asked if you like any other bands." He spoke up. I nodded my head and smiled.

"I like a lot. Deaf Leppard is my all time favourite, but my taste in music varies. I think it all just depends on if I like the song or not. What about you?"

He grinned a beautiful crooked grin, nodding in approval of my answer, and responded. "I don't have a favourite but if I had to, I would say . . ." He paused for a moment to think about his answer while pressing his lips together and furrowing his brow. "The Monks." He snapped with his right hand and turned it into a gun, pointing it right at me.

I didn't listen to The Monks too often but I did really enjoy the few songs that I heard from them. "Drugs In My Pocket!" I cheered while clapping my hands together. He threw his head back in a musical laugh and nodded his head.

"A classic." It looked as though Edward was going to say something else when I felt a light tap on my shoulder. I turned, having no clue who could be trying to get my attention.

I was met with none other than Mike Newton. The asshole who cheated on me. I was used to seeing him that last couple of weeks of school after our break up but I hadn't seen him since. Instead of being shocked or nervous, I was mad. Just plain ol' mad.

He had a disgusting smirk plastered on his face. "Bella," He spoke in a very distasteful voice, I almost cringed at the sound.

"Mike," I gave him the best glare I could muster and looked back in front of me at the stage that was still being prepared for the band. He stepped closer to me, pressing his side into mine. I immediately stepped away, but in my attempt to move, I bumped into Edward. I looked up at him apologetically, holding a hand up and whispering a "sorry".

He placed a hand on my shoulder, trying to keep me from tripping over my own feet. My whole face flushed a deep read, both from seeing Mike and from bumping into the most gorgeous man in the room.

I turned back to Mike after Edward removed his hand from me. "Mike, I would appreciate it if you didn't touch me." I tried to speak slightly nicer to him, hoping that would get him to back off. "What are you doing in Edmonton anyway? Aren't you going to the community college Lloyd?"

Within my question I took the time to rub it in his face that even though he thought he was all that, he still couldn't get into any better school than Lakeland College in Lloydminster.

He then turned completely towards me and grasped my hand in both of his, they were dry and cold. "A couple of friends from school and I decided to come to Edmonton for a few days, and to see the concert." He spoke with a disgusting smile. "And I was just trying to be friendly, Bella." He rubbed his thumb over my hand. I cringed and pulled my hand out of his hold.

"Mike, please. Just leave me alone." I pleaded, all I wanted was to enjoy the concert with my new found friends and then go home and tell Alice everything about it . . . about him.

"Oh, c'mon, Sweetheart. I've missed you so much. Haven't you missed me?" He took a step closer to me, his chest almost pressing up against mine.

I looked up into his musty brown eyes, "Not. In. The. Least." I stated, my glare returning. His smirk only grew.

"How about you and I go over to that maintenance closet over there and catch up a little bit. It's been so long." He motioned behind himself with his head and winked. I was about to respond, when I felt a warm and muscular arm make its way around my neck to rest on my shoulders. I didn't bother to move, I knew who it was, and I was forever grateful.

"Bella?" Edward tilted his head to the side in question. "Who is this?" He asked innocently with a slight menace creeping into his voice. My knees almost buckled from underneath me at the sound. I swear, his voice is the most beautiful voice I have ever heard. I didn't lean into him or anything, I was still quite unsure of the situation, and plus, I didn't even know Edward all that well. Yet.

"Edward, this is Mike. We went to high school together." I raised my hand, motioning towards Mike.

Mike frowned but quickly replaced it with a smirk. "Oh, don't be so modest, Bella." He shifted his gaze from me up to Edward. Mike was slightly shorter. "Bella, here, is my girlfriend."

I thought I heard a quiet gasp from Edward and felt him stiffen. He removed his arm and placed his hand on my shoulder. "I apologize. Well, it's nice to meet you." I looked up to see his face turn tomato red. I quickly put my hands up in front of me and started shaking my head.

"Whoa, whoa, whoa. We are not dating." I glared right at Mike. "I thought I made that clear after I cut you off after catching you sleeping with that blonde bitch." Again, I heard another quiet gasp from Edward as he gripped my shoulder with the slightest pressure.

"Bella, Sweetheart, I love you. I only slept with her because you have your stupid morals and wouldn't sleep with me." I laughed humorlessly and turned away from him, facing the stage yet again.

"Fuck you, Newton. Get the hell away from me." I folded my arms over my chest and kept my head facing forward.

He huffed and took a step towards me. "What did you just say to me?" The anger in his voice was evident. Before Mike could get any closer, Edward reached out to Mike's chest, but not quite making contact.

"She said get away from her." He said calmly. Mike turned his full attention to Edward now. Oh no.

"And who are you?" Mike ran a hand through his hair and put all of his weight on one of his legs.

"It doesn't matter who I am, what matters is that you are harassing her." He pointed with his thumb towards me, still keeping his voice calm but low. "Now, unless you want me to get security, I suggest you leave her alone." My saviour. Wait. Where did that come from?

Mike huffed again and stomped his foot like a child before stalking off into the crowd. I turned to Edward, blushing a deep shade of red and looked up at him.

"Thank you." I said quietly. He placed his hand back on my shoulder.

"Look, it's starting. Let's just forget all of that even happened and enjoy the concert."

And we did. We laughed, we sang, we danced, and we jumped. It was, so far, the best night of my life. My cheeks hurt from smiling so much. When I Want To Know What Love Is came on, we all pulled out our phones and swayed to the music. There was one part during the song where Edward and I were both belting out the lyrics and we coincidentally looked at each other at the same time. It was as though time stopped and we were the only ones in the room. We both calmed down and sang "I want to know what love is" with less haste than we had before. I swear his head was moving towards mine but we both cringed when water from a water bottle was thrown on us.

When the concert was over and I started to walk away in the parking lot, they asked where I was going. When I told them that I was walking home they offered me a ride. So, I said, "Why not?" And they drove me safely back home.

I was about to get out of the vehicle when Edward spoke up from the seat beside me. "Um," He seemed slightly nervous. "Would I be able to walk to your door?" I nodded sheepishly, a blush coating my face.

And he did, he walked me all the way to my door. So, now, here we stood, in front of my door, facing each other.

"Bella, I would just like to say thank you for the ticket." He shoved his hands in his jacket pockets and pressed his lips together nervously.

"No, thank you. If I would have gone to the concert alone then I don't know if I would have been able to make Mike go away. And plus, I had a lot of fun." I gave him a small smile and placed my hands in my pockets as well.

"I did too." He responded and returned my smile.

There was an awkward silence for a moment until I noticed him leaning towards me very slowly. Oh my god. It's happening. My heartbeat sped up to one hundred miles a minute and I began breathing very shallowly. I could feel his breath on my face as our noses just touched. I closed my eyes, awaiting the feeling I craved.

But then a loud squeal came from the doorway. Edward straightened up and cleared his throat.

"Bella!" Alice cheered, I turned to glare at her but she wasn't even looking at me, she was looking at the Greek God that stood next to me.

What was she doing in my apartment anyway? Wasn't she supposed to be at her own home lying in her bed because she was sick?

"Um, can I get your number?" He asked shyly. I quickly nodded and we exchanged phones, programming our names into them. We gave each others back our phones, he slid his into his back pocket while I held mine in my hands. "I'll call you later."

I responded with a quiet "Yeah, see you." and he walked off to his vehicle.

As soon as he and his brothers sped off, I returned my gaze to Alice and gave her the best glare I could muster. She didn't care though, she gripped my arm tightly and pulled me into the house with another squeal.

"Tell me everything!" I let out a sigh but couldn't help but smile.

Here we go.
