Pairing: Oliver/Felicity

Summary: Prying ears and no sleep make for a very nosey man. Based off of a prompt from Geodude96 on tumblr.

Disclaimer: Nope. Not mine.

"I won't ask you to always love me like this. We'll grow and change as individuals and together over time. So will our love. We'll have ups and downs but I will always ask for you to remember it during those times.

"Because somewhere inside of me there will always be a version of the woman that you first fell in love with. You've taken my heart and made it your own, Cherished it and all the things that it holds dear…"

Felicity blows away the tendrils of hair that have fallen into her eyes as she whispered what she had typed so far. It was early enough that she didn't have to worry about Oliver stirring until their alarm went off in a few hours.

With a cautious glance in Oliver's direction she sighs with relief as he lies still, his chest rising and falling slowly with each breath that he took.

Just when she thought she was in the clear, she sees his lips twitch at the corners until he can no longer contain the sleepy grin that replaces it.

"Couldn't sleep?" The scratchiness in Oliver's voice brings forth a quiet groan and a nod from Felicity. she takes her time to close the notes application on her tablet before nestling it into the drawer of the bedside table.

"I won't have any vows to recite if you keep listening to them. This is the third time I'll have to re-write them. I thought we agreed that we were going to keep it a surprise?"

Felicity grumbles halfheartedly as she adjusts herself into Oliver's side once more. She's always loved that her body fits perfectly against his.

She smiles when she feels Oliver's arm wrap around her, his fingers brushing lazily through her hair. He kisses her forehead. It's a habit he's adopted. Felicity will never complain about it.

"Do you love me?" Felicity hums in affirmation to his question, peppering soft kisses to any part of him she can reach. "Vows or no vows, that's all the matters to me. You're what matters to me."

Felicity was a woman that never needed grand gestures and Oliver was a man that didn't need words to define their love.

They both made a point of always showing one another instead.

At an undisclosed location and with only a handful of people to witness their marriage, they vowed to do just that.
