Three little girls stood sullen in bright red princess gowns. They cried as they watched a woman in a tight white dress walk down a maroon carpeted aisle. Her long train flowed behind her like a Villainess cape in the wind. The dark-haired child imagined tripping her but she knew that it would only cause her misery. She would be in more trouble than she wished for harming the woman. This woman would soon be her and her sisters' new mother.
The bride's mother smiled brightly at the girls. She pulled the three to a seat in the front.
"Isn't your mother beautiful?" She leaned down whispering as she handed the three a singular napkin. "You three are crying tears of joy. Oh, I know you can't wait to have a younger sibling."
The three children could only smile at the petite elderly woman. Afraid to tell her the real reason for their tears. They sat quietly listening to the ceremony.
Listening to the 'I dos' the eldest child watched as their blonde sister's head fell down. She could see the Crocodile size tears streaming from her face as everyone slowly got up heading out of the church.
Following their now grandmother to the reception. The girls smiled and nodded at the people that congratulated them on their 'perfect family'.
Perfect family? What was wrong with their family before? Why wasn't it perfect then?
Ignoring the ringing questions they soon sat at the main table with their father and mother. Forcing a big grin they posed for photos. Refusing to get up and mingle again they waited till they could finally escape into their room.
"Girls let's try our best to make the Professor and Legacie happy." the oldest girl of three. Blossom said quietly to her sisters. Buttercup and Bubbles. The two glanced at one another before turning to their father figure. Nodding in agreement they were officially on their best behavior.
Keeping smiles on their faces throughout the whole party. The night was going well until it was time to dine.
That was the first time. The first time it happened. That night in the hallway. The night the triplets accidentally spilled their food onto Legacie's white dress. She screamed furious at the three.
"We're sorry." Blossom quickly said. Her eyes were wide and in shock, checking to see if the woman was hurt.
"We didn't mean to," Bubbles stated. Trying to pick up the mess before it further stains.
"Please forgive us," Buttercup said Boeing slightly as she and her sisters apologized.
The Professor stood from his seat and told the girls to follow him. The girls followed slowly not wanting to make a scene. Professor took them to the garden where no one could see or hear them.
Buttercup looked behind them to see Legacie with a smirk on her face. Confused she looks to her father.
"Girls I expected more from you. You know to be careful when you're around Legacie." The Professor lectured.
"We're sorry Professor. We didn't mean t-SMACK" the Professor backhanded Blossom causing her to fall.
"Blossom!" Bubbles shouted running towards her sister, tears already in her eyes as she tried to help the redhead up.
"What's the big idea Professor she did no-SMACK" Buttercup's head turned her bangs falling into her face. Her cooling skin redden from the palm of her father.
* Buttercup's POV*
I woke from that terrible memory. That was the day it started the day I and my sisters' world came crashing down.
"Bc, come on we're gonna be late." Bubbles said coming into my room. I nodded and hurried to get dressed meeting my sisters at the door. The sun wasn't even up but we always left early before the devil and his queen awoke. We are living in hell at least that's what I call it.
