I never knew names were so hard, it's strange Nightmare… hmm?

I've got it! I'll call you Yami!

Why Yami?

Because it means Darkness. Darkness itself can be kind or cruel since it is neutral.

…You really have a way with names.

It fits him don't you think? See he likes it! Don't you Yami?

It had been months since the event and her mind had at times wondered to how things were. Yes she had now gone back in time strangely enough without knowing why. However a thought came time mind as she realised it was Redgrave only before the craziness with the tree appeared. If anything the area looked undamaged almost as if no demons existed in the area.

Despite this she remained on guard while approaching a familiar police station that housed her previous employee- Maxwell only he was about thirty years younger.

Seeing a black haired, pale skinned happy man stare at her the moment she entered the area, she watched him wave at her before she approached him. Greeting the crew he worked with now she watched them all as they interacted. Knowing that she made the right choice in allowing him to live here, sure it was crazy due to demons which would show up later on. But he was anything but weak since she had taught him a few things to defend himself. Not that she knew it would be dangerous to begin with. The man proved himself time and time again that he could handle things.

A thing she was proud of, despite not saying it aloud.

The pair soon found themselves in his office conversing, catching up on things since they separated.

To her joy he had found love and married a woman named Josephina. A talented school teacher who retired from dancing two years ago. Hara grinned knowing that the woman had helped him settle down and would soon be expecting in about eight months. Not that Hara would tell him it's a girl, a thing that irked him since she would know things thanks to her gifts.

"So… Amaya" Hara looked up from her cup that continued to release steam from being hot. "I know you're only here for a bit, but I am glad to see you" Maxwell said before pushing his short black hair from his face. A thing she knew was a quirk from being nervous.

"I am as well, I'm really happy you've now gained a family of your own. I can't wait for you to send me all those pictures of the little one" she almost squealed with joy as her face beamed at the proud father to be.

"Well I'll be understanding why you're so happy with your children. Heck even Willow I know is a handful like her twin sister. How do you manage such a large family?" Hara rolled her eyes playfully.

"Drugs and patients"

"LOTS of patience" the pair exclaimed before giggling at their comment.

"You definitely have a lot of it" Maxwell agreed before leaning back on his chair. "Even your husband has to have a lot as well" Hara grinned while shrugging.

"We both have gained a lot of it thanks to being with each other" she mused. "On the other hand I have no regrets. I'm happy to have him" Maxwell hummed softly to himself.

"You did mention that you came here in the future, how bad was it that you had to come?" Maxwell asked knowing she couldn't tell him the full story.

"Well…" she groaned as her mind soon formed a headache from the memories.

"WHAT THE HELL?!" a scream alerted the pair causing Hara to almost drop her mug, looking at the other with stern expressions. She placed the mug down and rushed out with him at her heels.

"What an earth are you screaming about?" Maxwell barked as they entered the source of the scream- the reception area. As Maxwell started scolding the group, Hara remained rooted to the spot as she took in the appearance of a child covered in blood. A hole was visible in his shirt as he looked lifeless- empty of all emotions stunning her to the point she placed a hand to her mouth. Her body shook as tears soon fell down her cheeks at the sight of the boy. Now understanding why she was called to this exact time.

"You can got to be kidding me!" Griffon screamed in horror as he recognised the child straight away.

"Amaya? Are you okay?" Maxwell paused from his scolding to notice Hara's stunned expression. Moving before she realised what she was doing, she rushed towards the boy and placed her hands on his lower arms. Worry filled her eyes as she saw nothing but pain and helplessness fill the boy's eyes.

It was then she wanted nothing more than to take him in and shield him away from the future that would ensnare him. Altering the timeline be damned.

Hara watched as the boy had finally fallen asleep in a bed. Sighing heavily she stood up before leaving the room and closed the door slightly just in case he woke up.

Looking behind her she saw the troubled look of her husband who immediately hugged her. Accepting the hug she groaned in dismay.

"It's alright Amaya, he's safe now" A wry smile formed on her face at how her husband had slowly accepted the boy. Regardless of the circumstances. She knew deep down he was a softie thanks to time being with her, not that he would admit she mellowed him down.

"I'm worried Silver" Hearing her husband's low hum he kept hugging the saddened woman. Short red hair ticked some of her ear but she smiled knowing that she was with her husband again. Feeling the soft texture of his black shirt she allowed his familiar scent to calm her down to an extent.

"I know, it's not easy given what he's been though. But we can give him this" he assured her causing Hara's eyes to well up with tears.

"I know it's not ideal since we already have a full house-" Silver placed his finger to her lips. A firm look silenced her enough to look at him.

"It's fine. Vergil needs a home and we can give it to him, he's safe from Mundus for now" Silver assured his wife who still felt guilty. "I just hope the others will be okay, I want him to get along with them"

"He will, like me it took time before I realised I had people who were willing to have me around. It will happen" Silver said in a semi stern tone that had her exhaling in relief.

"I'm going to go check on him" Hara said as she pulled away, taking him his semi pale complexion. His metallic silver eyes softened as he looked down at her, slowly placing her knuckles to his lips he pecked them lightly before letting her go.

"See you in a bit" he smiled before watching her head inside the room. On the other hand, he didn't appreciate the kid stealing their bedroom but considering the circumstances… he'll let it slide. Just this once.

As he walked through the hallway, he spotted a large tree located in the center of a greenhouse they made. Seeing the once bloodied branches of a tree, it now had a more calmer colour to it while the leaves reminded him of autumn. A frown formed on his face as he knew what damage the tree could do and yet. Seeing it bathing in the moonlight and giving off a serene feeling. He allowed the new house guest/familiar to rest for now. Knowing that no one was going to die from that tree anytime soon.

Yeah that's right! She stole the tree from Vergil! And what?
