-Chapter 103: Outside Assistance-

Location: The Dominance/JanFathal

"There are an infinite number of universes. Some are just like our own, save for one or two significant events..."

In one of the hangar bays aboard the Dominance, Wraith was busy fixing a capacitor the heavily modified Porax-38 prototype he called 'the Fang of Izax'. Tinkering with some of the machinery, his duster folded up and resting atop the hull, Wraith was busy with both his hands and his mind. He had plenty to think about. If it wasn't something to do with recent Republic counterattacks in the Outer Rim, it was something about one of the women in his life. If it wasn't about his latest venture to Coruscant and another night spent with his girlfriend, the lovely Ahsoka Tano, then it was something about Banshee needing assistance while on assignment or about Sereva and her sporadic yet flirtatious advances. His mind was geared for battles and tactics and was often considered something of an on-his-feet genius. But like all men, women were something of an enigma to him. He'd gotten better at understanding the opposite sex, largely due to his ongoing romantic relationship with Ahsoka, but there were some things that still puzzled him. He could analyze a battlefield and plan a strategy within three whole seconds, but he couldn't understand Sereva's mood swings to save his life.

"I think I understand what others mean when they say I've grown 'beyond my station'. Not that I care..." He mused to himself, fitting a wired plug into the newest component. As he continued, talking to himself and tinkering with his ship, his comms suddenly crackled to life.

"Wraith, are you there?" Scipio asked, voice coming in crisp and clear through the helmet's audio receptors and interrupting his train of thought.

"I'm here, Doc." Wraith readily replied.

"Would you mind checking on something for us? Security noted a strange energy spike in your hangar, just a little blip and then nothing. We noted it in the starboard corner, furthest away from you." Scipio asked, relaying the report he had received.

"Sure." Wraith agreed, standing up, setting down his tools and arming his pistols... just in case. Inexplicable situations were reason enough to be wary, his training teaching him that much. "Any idea what kind of energy?"

"Well it wasn't plasma or anything like that." Scipio answered. "It seems to fluctuate somewhere on the higher end of the spectrometer grid, something akin to a hyperspace warp signature."

"So it's temporal in nature..." Wraith surmised as he threw on his duster. "Odd." Drawing one of his weapons, Wraith started walking towards the indicated corner of the hangar, wondering what it is he might uncover. As a precautionary measure, he took a moment to suppress his Force-signature, ensuring he would not be detected or his secret discovered. "Doc, do me a favor and send some security droids down here... just in case." He radioed.

"On it." Scipio replied. Squaring his shoulders and drawing his second sidearm, Wraith triggered his mouthguard and walked right up to the crates, taking aim as he scoured all around them... a strange surprise awaiting him.

And when he found it, Wraith wasn't quite sure what to make of 'it'.

Pistols drawn and moving to confront the being his sensors had located, the last thing he expected was a Firrerreo... and a youth at that. Sure, he knew what a Firrerreo was, having researched their healing properties alongside Doctor Scipio. But how and why one had gotten on his ship was beyond him. A million questions raced through his mind. Who was this boy? Where had he come from? And just how the hell had he made it onboard a Separatist cruiser without alerting anyone?

Not to mention just what was that energy burst security had detected? Hopefully this boy would be able to provide him with some answers.

"Alright, kid. Hands where I can see them." He demanded, addressing him. "I don't know how you got here or where you came from, but you're trespassing. So consider yourself a prisoner of the Separatist Alliance until further notice."

"That sounds fair." The kid replied with a smile. He stood up and raised his hands in peaceful gesture. "Lead the way then." Something about his compliance seemed off, even strange to Wraith. Under normal circumstances, his willingness to comply would've been welcome. But Wraith noted something suspicious in the kid's tone of voice. He would have to keep extra careful watch of this boy.

Fortunately, he wouldn't be alone in the endeavour.

Prior to his confrontation of the boy, Wraith had summoned a squad of security droids to aid him... just in case. As he escorted the Firrerreo to the nearest turbolift, blasters raised, he was anticipating reinforcements as soon as possible. This kid wouldn't be pulling any stunts today. "So you're the boss here?" He suddenly asked, breaking the silence. "Or just a simple 'big' soldier?" Wraith stopped in his tracks, eyeing the Firrerreo. What kind of question was that? One look at him usually told the whole story. He was famous, notorious even! He was The Wraith, everyone knew who he was!

"Look kid, I don't know what rock you've been living under until now, but I'm not just any 'big' soldier." Wraith informed him. "What I am is a 'big' deal, as I'm sure you'll learn in due time. Or maybe we can jog your memory for you. I know a few ways..."

"Oh, you'll have to forgive me. I'm not from this world," the Firrerreo replied, "I mean, you probably know that Firrerreo's don't have horns and tails. I was genetically modified in my mother's womb by an Arkanian scientist. A Sith Lord wanted to create a perfect weapon."

"I kinda figured there was something off with you." Wraith mused, giving the boy another once over. He quickly mulled over the information given to him. If he was an attempted experiment he could be dangerous, a good reason to keep him under heavy lock a key. But a Sith Lord? Wraith knew a few... how would this kid react to the knowledge that he technically served two Sith? "Not of this world, eh?" He continued. "Who are you, boy? And where are you from then?"

"Call me Deiven," the young Firrerreo replied and actually smirked since he was anxious to see the reaction of the soldier. "I'll try to keep this as simple as possible. As you've probably met or even fought Jedi Knights, you know a thing or two about the Force. Thanks to it, I'm able to travel to different 'worlds' which you can call alternate timelines. In many of those timelines, history went in a different direction from my own. In some, important people did something different and changed the events. In others, new people appeared and they are the reason their timeline exists. I'm one of the four ArchKnights of the Kingdom of the Force," Deiven went on. "And I've come to visit this alternate timeline to explore it."

"You're using a lot of terminology I'm not familiar with." Wraith replied, shaking his head a little. "There's just one thing I want you to know, Deiven: I don't trust anybody who uses the Force." He stopped, holstering one of his pistols. "But since you're new to this... timeline, and have a more neutral leaning, let me give you the rundown: this is a galaxy at war."

"I assumed that when you told me about the Confederacy of Independent Systems," Deiven replied. "They don't exist in our timeline anymore and the war between them and the Republic has ended. The Jedi Order is destroyed, the remaining Jedi are scattered across the galaxy. The Sith went into hiding once again and are scheming in the shadows."

"Is that so?" Wraith mused. "Well, in this time, the war is on and nobody stays neutral for long." He continued. "What I mean is, if you're planning on sticking around, kid, you better get ready to choose a side. And you had better choose carefully... 'cause if you earn my ire, you may not live long enough to return to your time."

"I've been threatened so many times I've already stopped keeping count," Deiven replied with a shrug. "I can return to my time whenever I want. Even now I can simply vanish just as quickly as I've appeared on your ship, no matter if I'm injured or locked up in a cell. So spare me the threats Mister 'big deal', because I've fought more dangerous things than you can imagine." The amber eyes of the young Firrerreo began to glow a yellowish color when a half-smile appeared on his face. "I'm guessing you're a pawn of the Sith Lords then, or at least you work with them. Darth Sidious is too important to deal with his 'weapons' personally, so I'm assuming you take orders from Count Dooku."

"I'm nobody's pawn." Wraith growled. "I serve the Separatists because I choose to serve them. Now let's get one thing straight, Deiven; I don't care what kind of powers you have or what you've encountered in the past. Because you've never encountered something like me before. I slaughter Clones in droves and I kill Jedi for breakfast. In this time there is nothing more dangerous than me. And you would do well to remember that as long as you're here." As he finished, the troupe of security droids arrived, eight in total. "So... what's say we make you nice and comfortable in the brig?" Wraith wondered, drawing his second blaster again.

"You don't serve the Separatists, you serve the Sith because they're pulling the strings." Deiven pointed out. "As soon as Darth Sidious will be tired of you or when he'll starts thinking that you're a threat to his plans, he'll turn everything against you. That's how the Sith work." The ArchKnight looked at the security droids and smirked. "Well, if you feel safe with me behind a ray-shield, so be it." He teased. "Just come visit me for a talk or I'll visit you." Having had more than enough of this boy, Wraith gladly escorted him, along with the security droids down to the brig of the Dominance. Little did he realize that there was someone else here... someone he missed while confronting Deiven.

Later...

"I don't like it Doc." Wraith mused as he stared at the security footage of Deiven in his cell. "The kid comes out of nowhere and starts spouting off a bunch of things that don't make sense... something's off about the whole thing." Doctor Pomel Scipio nodded in agreement.

"I'll keep my eye on him and let you know if he pulls any stunts." He replied. "But he seems pretty compliant..."

"That's the other thing that bothers me." Wraith added. "He's too compliant. Too calm about all of this."

"Your suspicions are duly noted. However, you've got other things to do." Scipio responded, handing him a datapad. "Republic-aligned politicians on JanFathal are attempting to broker a peace deal, but we suspect they are buying time for Republic forces to arrive. Your mission is to assassinate them all by any means necessary and ensure our forces take complete control of the world."

"Duly noted." Wraith said, tightening his belt. "Let me know the moment that kid does anything out of the ordinary." Scipio sighed.

"You can be so paranoid sometimes."

"My 'paranoia' has saved us many a time." Wraith stated on his way out.

Deiven lay calmly in the bed in his cell with his hands behind his head, looking at the ceiling. He noticed the security camera in the upper corner of the cell so he knew he was being watched by either that big soldier or other crew members. He also noticed the ventilation duct beside the camera, but there was no way to leave without being spotted.

Still, he wondered why the soldier didn't take his lightsaber away.

Wraith suddenly came to a stop in the middle of the hangar as a sudden thought came to him.

"Dammit! I forgot to frisk him!" He exclaimed out loud, startling some nearby battle droids. But even as this thought came to him, things were put in motion.

Sitting at his desk, mulling over a datapad, Scipio believed everything was fine and that he could continue on as is.

And then, nothing was fine.

The flash of blinding light on the security footage and the sudden alarms indicating the cellblock had experienced a breach interrupted Scipio's research and the Pau'an jumped to his feet, jarred from all sense of ease and entering a state of worry. Checking the feed, he realized that the Firrerreo had left his cell and that the energy barrier keeping him in had been shut down. Quickly ordering a squad of security droids to lock down the sector, the doctor put in a call to Wraith.

"My boy, I think you were right about that Firrerreo!" He urgently said. "Can you head down to the-"

"I'm already on my way!" Wraith reported, sounding like he was in a hurry. "I got the notification too. Looks like there's more to this kid than meets the eye!"

"Then do us all a favor and show him what you're made of." Scipio responded.

"Gladly." Wraith growled in reply. Scipio gave a nod, believing the situation to be in good hands and turned back to the monitors. But the sound of the doors to his lab bursting open caused him to whirl about. There before him stood the young Firrerreo, ablaze with a power appearing like a white light. It was a sight unlike anything Scipio had ever seen, and he was responsible for the development of a super-soldier capable of turning losing battles around.

"If you are here with violent intentions, I assure you, it will not end well for you. Having said that, if you are here with peaceful intentions, I am an agreeable man." He cautioned, doing his best to buy himself time and to diffuse any violent thoughts. "But I will admit, you would make for a fascinating study."

"I told your big friend that if he will not come to talk to me, I will come to him." Said the young Firrerreo. "I came to this world to explore and learn, and as you can imagine, I can't do that from inside a cell. I'm actually surprised your friend didn't take my lightsaber away, or at least try." Deiven closed his silver eyes and focused. The white aura along with electric sparks vanished and his Force signature appeared once again. He opened his snake-like eyes, which returned to their amber color, and smiled. "I'm open for a friendly conversation," he added, "I can even help your cause. Tell you what... fill me in on your mission and progress, and I'll give you information that will give you the advantage over the Sith Lords. You will have dirt on them which will prove useful when they attempt to betray you."

"I'm afraid you are mistaken." Scipio replied. "Wraith and I serve at the behest of the Separatist Alliance. These Sith you speak of are our superiors. While Count Dooku is far more personable and the one we see most often, we also answer to Lord Sidious when he calls. We are loyal to them, regardless of how antagonistic they may be some times." He explained. "And the only 'mission' we have in which we can 'progress' is to serve the Confederacy of Independent Systems in any possible capacity. The Wraith, the 'big soldier' you've already met, is a soldier, plain and simple. But he is far superior to others as he is the product of a revolutionary science... and the only successfully creation of our little project." Pausing, Scipio allowed the boy to digest this information. "Before I go any further, why don't you pull up a seat and tell me a little more about yourself... Mister...?"

"Loyal to the end I see, okay then," he mused and approached the desk, leaning against it and crossing his arms over his chest. "I'm Deiven Virlo," he replied, "conceived by the Force like Anakin Skywalker and genetically modified by an Arkanian scientist to become a weapon for the Sith Lords. I'm one of the four ArchKnights and a founding member of the Kingdom of the Force." The Firrerreo uncoiled his long tail, which began to move calmly. "My tail and my horns," Deiven spoke pointing with his finger at the montral-shaped horns, which curved and their tips pointed forward, "Firrerreo's don't have, just like my eyes and my other abilities. I'm different, but I use that to my advantage."

"Yes, I noticed your... abnormalities." Scipio mused. "I am Doctor Scipio. And while I am no specialist when it comes to the Force or the abilities it offers, I am a scientist and a man of reason first and foremost." As he finished, the Pau'an reached for his communicator. "Wraith, we're alright. Continue on with your mission to JanFathal, all clear." He said, switching off the comm as soon as he was done. "Now, Deiven, is it? Tell me more about where it is you come from. I overheard what you told Wraith and I would very much like to know more about these 'other worlds' you speak of." Before Deiven could began to explain, a ventilation cover on the ceiling was kicked down and hit the floor with a loud clatter. The Firrerreo turned his head and spotted Ahsoka, who jumped down from the ventilation duct, into the lab and looked around. The young Togruta turned to Deiven, approached him and bonked him in the head.

"Don't scare me like that!" She sulked. "You know I can't sense your Force signature when you use the aura of balance! I was worried sick, especially since I didn't expect you to use it!"

"I'm sorry." Deiven smiled sheepishly. Scipio stared slack-jawed at the sudden presence of Ahsoka. He'd seen her enough times through Wraith's optic recordings to know what she looked like... even though she was wearing something very different than what both he and Wraith were used to. Reaching back for his communicator, Scipio made an executive decision.

"Wraith... I need you in my lab. ASAP." He stated.

Wraith growled in frustration as he got Scipio's comm.

"Dammit Doc! Make up your kriffing mind already!" He huffed, turning on heel and heading back to the lab on the upper levels.

Noticing Scipio's reaction, Deiven guessed that he knew who Ahsoka was.

"I'm assuming you know her," he said with a smile, "or at least you know the Ahsoka that exists in this world."

"I-I do." Scipio replied, recovering from the shocking sight. "I was... not expecting such an occurrence like this." He admitted. "You'll forgive me for my reaction, but you must understand that this is quite out of the ordinary for me. I've never encountered a duplicate individual from another world... and might I recommend that you keep her away from her counterpart here. Who knows how anyone will react."

"I guess many would think that she's a clone or that she's an impostor wearing a holographic matrix." Deiven replied. Scipio paused and dwelt on the concept of a holographic matrix for a moment...

"Who's he?" Ahsoka asked nodding towards the Pau'an.

"Oh, that's Doctor Scipio and he created our big friend we saw at the hangar." Deiven replied.

"Aren't you a little short for a Pau'an?" Ahsoka wondered and narrowed her crystal-blue eyes.

"Indeed I am, Miss Tano." Scipio replied. "But I make up for my reduced stature with impressive scientific achievements." He added. "The Wraith is my most prominent creation."

"They work for Dooku and Sidious." Deiven explained.

"Huh, pawns of the Sith Lords." Stated the young Togruta. "So this means he and that big one, the Wraith, are the reason this world exists."

"Correct." Confirmed the young Firrerreo. As he finished speaking, the door to the lab slid open and Wraith barged in.

"Doc, I swear by the Force, you need to make up your mind-" His tirade was cut short when he laid eyes on the freed Firrerreo and Ahsoka, whom he hadn't seen yet.

Had his mouthguard been open, they would've seen his jaw drop.

"Ahsoka?!" He exclaimed, startled by her presence. She certainly looked like his girlfriend. "What're you doing here?" Then he spied Deiven. "And what the hell is this guy doing out of lockup?" Before she had a chance to answer, he took note of Ahsoka's outfit and how strikingly different it was from the one he knew. "And what the hell are you wearing?!"

"My clothes," the Ahsoka replied arching her white eyebrow markings. "You know my counterpart I presume." She added.

"And I told you that if you won't come talk to me, I'll come to you." The young Firrerreo replied and gestured towards the Pau'an. "But in this case, your friend was more inclined to have a friendly conversation than you were." The young Togruta approached Wraith and narrowed her eyes. He was significantly taller than her, maybe by two or even three whole feet.

"You're even bigger from up close." She pointed out.

"I know your counterpart very well," Wraith replied, adding a little emphasis to the 'very' but not hinting at anything further, "enough to know you're not her." He continued, glancing back and forth between the Firrerreo and the alternate Ahsoka. "Doc... you've been talking to them?"

"Yes. Our Firrerreo here is Deiven Virlo, apparently created by the Force itself."

"Riiiiiight..." Wraith rumbled, not completely buying that description. Then again, he'd seen stranger things...

"He and this Ahsoka are here from another timeline to explore ours and gather knowledge." Scipio continued.

"Wait, you mean the multiverse theory is true?!" Wraith wondered, suddenly interested in the scientific ramifications.

"Apparently." Scipio replied, not quite knowing what to make of this situation either. "All I know is they're not here to fight, but to learn and engage." He added. Wraith fell quiet. "Well... if that's all... how can we help?" Scipio wondered. Deiven crossed his arms over his chest.

"Well, we would love to learn something about the Jedi Order in this timeline." He replied. "And I think I know I way in which we could help the Separatist Alliance, especially since I destroyed a number of your battle droids and damaged the blast doors, so it would be a nice compensation." Ahsoka began to walk around Wraith, curiously observing him as Dieven continued talking. "I overheard that the Wraith had a mission on JanFathal," the Firrerreo said, "how about me and Ahsoka go with him to make sure that the Republic will arrive there with their forces... especially the Ahsoka Tano from your timeline. We could subdue her and my Ahsoka could infiltrate the Jedi Order. She could help you by gathering information or getting holocrons, whatever Dooku would want. She's stronger than a Jedi Master so there's no problem even with an assassination order, but there's a catch: we can't remain here forever. So you would need to inform Dooku that you," the ArchKnight gestured towards Scipio, "managed to create an unstable clone of Ahsoka Tano and a second super-soldier," he pointed at himself, "that's me. Of course you need to add that it cost you many resources so that he won't order you to create more clones and will catch you in a lie. Or you can just tell him the truth if you think he'll believe you." Scipio began to slowly nod in agreement.

"Dooku trusts us enough to leave us to our own devices." He explained. "We have gained his favor over years of hard work and continuous victory. Let us worry about him while you go ahead with this plan." He said.

"So... I guess the real Ahsoka is going to be camping out with us for a while..." Wraith mused, rubbing his hands together. "Looking forward to that."

"Don't let your hormones get the better of you, my boy." Scipio cautioned him. The poor doctor had no idea just how much Wraith had allowed his hormones to 'get the better of him'.

"Since when have I...? You know what? Nevermind. Let's just do this."

"Do you have a ship you could lend us?" Deiven asked. "All three of us won't fit in your Porax starfighter."

"Wraith, might I recommend the Aka'jor for this one?" Scipio noted.

"Yeah, I was thinking the same thing." The super-soldier replied. "Come on you two, down to the hangar."

"Alright then." Deiven noted. "Ahsoka, you're ready?"

"Yup!" Ahsoka replied with a mischievous smile. The two followed Wraith down to the hangar, as ready as he was to begin this mission.

Later, on JanFathal...

The Aka'jor shuttle touched down outside of JanFathal's capital city, allowing Wraith and his two tag-alongs to disembark. Surveying the city before him, Wraith was pretty sure these senators would be meeting at some kind of government building, but he needed to make sure. His first step would be to hack into the planet's communication grid, granting him access to enough information to pinpoint their location. He turned back to Ahsoka and Deiven.

"Alright, I'm gonna make one thing clear: since you two are in my 'world', as you call it, I call the shots. You do as I say and follow me." He firmly stated. "Now let's move." Ahsoka looked at Deiven, who nodded approvingly.

"Let's go then." Replied the young Firrerreo. Ahsoka, who found a black robe inside one of the ship's drawers, popped it on and together with Deiven and Wraith, they left the ship. Since she was suppose to switch with the Ahsoka in this timeline, it was better no one saw her before the switch was made.

"Our first stop is the communications grid. I'll hack into it and figure out where these politicians are." Wraith stated as they headed out. "You two just need to keep close and stay out of sight." Breaking into a run, Wraith bounded through the empty city streets with his two 'partners' alongside him. With the looming threat of war, most civilians had decided to stay inside and wait for this crisis to pass, giving them zero threats and zero issues to contend with.

"So what are you planning to do with the Senators?" Ahsoka asked. "Kill them?"

"Those who need to be killed, yes. Preventing this peace treaty from going through will allow the rest of the Separatists time to establish a prominent position." Wraith answered. "We can't let the Republic get even a foothold on this world." As they ran Ahsoka and Deiven suddenly slowed down.

"You feel it too?" Ahsoka asked, looking at the ArchKnight.

"I do," he confirmed and called out towards the super-soldier. "Hey Wraith! Anakin and Ahsoka are already here. We sense their Force signatures."

"This means the Republic army is probably here as well," added the young Togruta, "or at least the Five-Oh-First Legion is."

"Already?" Wraith replied as he slid to a halt. "Then they must be anticipating us... can you locate them? Where are they?"

"In the tall building right ahead, at the top." Ahsoka replied and pointed to the tallest building at the end of the street. "Anakin isn't really hiding his Force signature so it's easy to locate him."

"And Ahsoka is with him." Added Deiven. "Good thing we hid our Force signatures the moment we entered the system. I can't tell you if Clones are with him though."

"A government building... of course. Well, that'll save us a trip." Wraith mused, adjusting his scanners as he performed a sensor sweep of the building. "Don't worry about Clones, my proximity sensors will find them before they find us." He added. "Let's get a move on, before that treaty goes through!" He determined, breaking into a run. Deiven and Ahsoka followed him until the three have reached the building at the end of the street. No Clones or guards were stationed outside of the structure.

"It's a long way up." Stated Deiven as he looked up.

"Using inertia would be an easy way up, but they would sense us." Ahsoka pointed out.

"Yeah, but it would be a faster way up." The young Firrerreo said and looked at the Wraith. "How do we do this? Slow way or fast way?"

"I have a cloaker to keep me out of sight. You two do as you wish, but do not draw attention to yourselves." Wraith replied. "I'm going to grapple up and break in through one of these windows." Deiven nodded and looked up. Stealthy missions weren't his thing, especially when it came to sneaking around other Force users, but he had an idea.

"The left side of the building has a stretch where there are no windows." He pointed out and looked at Ahsoka. "Jump on my back, I'll use the aura of balance for a brief moment and jump on the roof."

"Okay," Ahsoka nodded and the two ran to the left side of the building. The young Togruta jumped on Deiven's back and he began to speak in the language of the Force. Just like in the cell in the Separatist ship, Deiven's eyes turned silver and his body was engulfed in white aura.

"Hold tight," the ArchKnight squatted and jumped towards the roof. Wraith watched them for a moment before reaching to his belt and triggering his cloaking device. Then he raised his arm and fired a grapple tether, aiming for a higher level of the building. The cable snagged and went taught, providing enough give for Wraith to be winched up, completely hidden from view. Tracking movement in his destined floor through his scanners, Wraith slowed down as he arrived at the floor, looking in through the wide windows that comprised an entire wall of the room. It was then that Dieven called him, via a commlink he had provided the Firrerreo on the way over. "Okay, we're on the roof and the Jedi are in a room below us with Senator Amidala and other people. No Clones so far."

"Huh, never would've anticipated her to be here." Wraith mused, the kid's voice echoing in his helmet through his own audio receptors. "Regardless, those politicians are my targets. You two hang tight while I thin the herd. Once the room is clear, I'll give you the go ahead." He stated. He was currently dangling from one of his grapples, positioned atop one of the windows of the room, cloaked and out of view. His thermal sensors were giving him a perfect picture of everything going on in that room. Around a dozen people, Jedi included, were present. Neither of them were of grave concern, but the guards around the floor were. They weren't Clones, just regular security guards; easy to deal with and easy to dispose of. Drawing a slugthrower from its holster, Wraith prepared to make his entrance. "If either of you are queasy," he informed them, "then I recommend you look away." Deiven chuckled.

"Alright mister big and sinister, show us what you got." He teased. Pushing off to build some momentum, Wraith channeled all of his weight down on his return swing and smashed through the glass, launching himself into the room. The politicians were stunned by the randomly broken window and the Jedi were quickly put on edge. Though they could not see anything, they could sense someone there.

"Master...?" Ahsoka started to say before a series slugs exploded from out of nowhere and ripped through a nearby politician's head, evaporating it in a shower of blood. Three more were gunned down in similar fashion, blood painting the walls of the room. The Jedi were startled, drawing their lightsabers as Wraith deactivated his cloaking field. It didn't take them long to recognize their foe.

"Wraith." Anakin growled, igniting his lightsaber.

"Skywalker. I see you're finally out of the medbay." Wraith mused, spinning his machine pistols around and holstering them. "Guess I get the honor of putting you back in it!" He added menacingly.

"Not gonna happen!" Anakin vowed, gripping his lightsaber tightly. Wraith simply cackled as he drew Tyth from behind him and ignited his firesaber, the blade glowing yellow as the flames crackled.

"As much as I enjoy our banter, I haven't got time for it today!" He added with a shout, turning his gaze on the remaining politicians and swinging his blade hard. An arc of fire followed his sweep until it was racing across the room, the heat so intense it seared the skin from the politicians and disintegrated them. Their dying screams echoed in the room.

"No!" Anakin shouted, lunging ahead and swung his blade around, blue blade crashing into Tyth. Anakin and Wraith proceeded to duel in a heated battle, lightsaber and firesaber crashing together with rapid-fire strikes, both wanting to win. Anakin was a competent warrior, skillful with a lightsaber and able to hold his own in any normal situation.

But Wraith had been specifically designed to be a master of combat.

Disarming Anakin of his lightsaber in a fluid series of rotating strikes, Wraith landed a hard kick right in the Jedi's midsection before following it up with a flying knee to his chin and then dropping his armored elbow down on Anakin's head, knocking him unconscious. With the Knight down, Wraith stood alone against Ahsoka and Padme. He quickly evened things by whipping a shock chip towards the senator that unleashed a quick burst of electrical energy that put her down alongside her husband. Only Ahsoka was left, but Wraith had other intentions for her. Switching off Tyth, Wraith stowed his weapon behind him and retracted his mask.

"And now it's just us, my dear." He announced, suddenly sounding calm and casual. Ahsoka raised a browmarking as he approached her.

"I see you're back in fighting form." She observed, seeing how his last fight with the Titans had done a number on him.

"What can I say? A conversation with you does wonders for me." Wraith replied, his voice dropping low as he grinned at her. "Does it do the same for you?" He wondered, gently cupping her chin. Ahsoka would be lying if she said she didn't appreciate his softer, gentler side. But right now, she had other things to do.

"Wraith... I-I have a mission." She responded, looking away. Wraith slowly guided her gaze back to him.

"So do I." He replied before pulling her into a kiss. The startled Togruta's sound of surprise was muffled between their lips before she melted into his arms and gave in. She always did enjoy kissing him. What she didn't realize was how Wraith was using this as a means of completing his mission as he slipped another shock chip into his hand, briefly zapping Ahsoka's exposed back until she slipped unconscious and collapsed into his arms. "Sorry, love." He whispered, easing her down. His free hand reached for his comms. "We're all clear. Come on in." Deiven and Ahsoka, who had her black robe on, jumped on the balcony and entered the room.

"What a mess!" Ahsoka commented, looking around and noticing the dead bodies. The young Firrerreo stepped over Anakin's body and approached the Wraith, who held he unconscious Padawan.

"Nice one," he praised him and looked around. When he noticed a door to a small room, he gestured towards it and spoke. "They need to switch clothes," he said as Ahsoka approached her unconscious counterpart and took her from Wraith. Luckily, they were the same age and had the same lifestyle, so the Padawan's clothes would fit her.

"Of course." Wraith replied as he handed his Ahsoka over and then closed up his mouthguard. While Ahsoka took the other one to the small room, Deiven approached the unconscious Anakin and Padme.

"Huh, the same hot-headed Jedi Knight," he commented, "the same as ours before he joined us, but our Anakin has both fleshy hands and grew a beard." He looked at Padme and smirked. "She's probably still completely loyal to the Republic... but ours has one artificial arm and is a Queen."

"Odd." Wraith rumbled, incapable of imagining Anakin and Padme as anything but what he knew. After a couple of minutes, the other Ahsoka returned, dressed in the Jedi attire of the Togrutan Padawan, while the Jedi was clothed in the black robe. There was no difference between them and Ahsoka from the Kingdom looked exactly as the Padawan Ahsoka.

"You have everything?" Deiven asked.

"Yes," confirmed the Togruta, who sighed as she adjusted her akull-tooth headdress and the Padawan braid made from silk beads. "I hate being a Jedi," she commented. "Also I think I'm slightly more toned than her." Wraith raised an eyebrow at her words, never imaging such words would come from her...

"Not that I would complain... but tell me she's wearing something under that robe." Wraith asked. Deiven chuckled when he heard that sentence.

"Yes she is, Romeo. She has my clothes, so no funny business." Ahsoka replied rolling her eyes. "Take her and go, I need to try to wake up Anakin." Ahsoka looked at Deiven and added. "I have my holoprojector, when I return to the Temple, I'll make contact so you can tell me what's my mission."

"Alright," Deiven nodded.

"Tell Anakin that I completed my mission and left. I have never done Ahsoka harm, so he will believe that." Wraith stated as he lifted Ahsoka into his arms, carrying her bridal style. With that, he turned and made to leave. "You figure it'd be alright to explain you and her duplicate when she wakes up?" He asked Deiven. "She's gonna wonder how the hell she switched outfits."

"Of course." Deiven assured. "She deserves an explanation. Now let's get out of here before someone shows up."

Some time later...

Ahsoka awoke with a groan as consciousness slowly returned to her. The last thing she could remember was kissing Wraith before a shock rolled through her body and she blacked out. As her jumbled thoughts slowly gathered themselves, she became aware of her surroundings. Plain gray walls, the room was small but well lit, leading her to wonder where she was.

"Glad to see you're awake." A familiar voice softly said to her. Shaking her head, Ahsoka looked up and recognized Wraith through her blurry vision.

"You... Y-You shocked me..." She managed to say.

"I apologize for the deception, my dear." He replied. "But it needed to be done."

"W-Why...?" She asked, voice gaining strength as she awoke.

"The explanation is not really for me to reveal." Wraith told her. That was true, he barely understood what was going on himself. He turned to face Deiven who was also standing in the room. "I'll leave that up to my new ally here."

"Greetings Ahsoka." Deiven nodded towards the young Padawan. "My name is Deiven Virlo and I'm the ArchKnight from the Kingdom of the Force. I come from a alternate timeline, or a different world if you want to keep it simple. My job is to explore other timelines and bring balance to the Force in them if possible. Now as you've probably noticed, you're wearing different clothes and you have no Padawan braid. The reason for that is simple, I came to this timeline together with the Ahsoka from my timeline. After ol' big and sinister over here killed the Senators on JanFathal, knocked Anakin unconscious and shocked you and Padme, my Ahsoka took your clothes and is currently traveling to Coruscant along with them with the task to infiltrate the Jedi Temple and gain an advantage for the Separatist Alliance."

The ArchKnight looked at the Padawan, letting her process the information. Ahsoka had the most confused look on her face as Deiven finished speaking. She turned to Wraith, silently asking him for clarification.

"He's telling the truth... as far as I can tell." He told her.

"But... I... I don't..." She stammered.

"It's alright, my dear. I'm sure you'll come to understand everything in due time." Wraith reassured her. "Deiven, why don't you go give Scipio a progress report. I'm gonna need a moment alone with Ahsoka here."

"Sure thing." Deiven replied. Nodding to Ahsoka, he left the cell and headed towards the laboratory. Left alone, Wraith retracted his mouthguard.

"I know it's complicated. Hell, I'm having a hard time understanding him." He said, crossing his arms. "But my superiors find him and his Ahsoka invaluable, therefore I have to work with him." He was trying to sympathize with her, help her relax a little. No doubt Deiven's words had created a lot of tension, something he needed to diffuse. Right now, Ahsoka didn't need another insurmountable problem to deal with. She just needed someone who was on her level.

"Not gonna lie... that's a lot to unload on someone." She finally said, sounding a little winded.

"Imagine how I felt when they first showed up." Wraith commented. "His total frankness... I honestly thought he was crazy, talking about other timelines and whatnot. But then his version of you showed up and, well, I realized he wasn't crazy." He concluded with a shrug. "Say, while I have your attention, I think it might be a good idea for us to act... differently around him." He suggested.

"How so?" Ahsoka wondered, standing up.

"I love you, and I know you love me." Wraith stated. "But maybe we shouldn't let the seemingly omnipotent time-traveller know that a Jedi and a Separatist are in love. I mean, who knows what he might do?" The Togruta could see where his thoughts were going, sensing them through their bond.

"I see what you mean." She affirmed with a nod.

"So... we can just make something up as we go along." Wraith proposed.

"Don't worry, I'm good that that." Ahsoka assured him. "But... he's Force-sensitive right?" She wondered, questioning if Wraith had considered that as well.

"I think we should both raise our shields and not use the bond until after he's gone. I can't afford to have my secret slip, I'm already working on suppressing my presence as we speak." The super-soldier told her.

"Good. I can help, I'll cast a larger range of emotions through the Force, so he'll focus on me." Ahsoka suggested, earning an affirmative nod from Wraith. "Still, I... I have to tell the Jedi about this." She determined.

"And you will, as soon as we're done." Wraith told her, gently putting his hands on her shoulders. "I promise you, you will go back to the Temple as soon as they're finished."

"But... But what if she does something horrible? What if she damages my reputation?!" Ahsoka questioned, suddenly fearful.

"Then I will find a way to maintain your reputation." Wraith calmly replied. "Everything is going to work out. Okay?"

"Are you sure?" Ahsoka quietly inquired, sounding a little anxious.

"I will see to it myself." Wraith promised. Realizing there was nothing more she could do, Ahsoka resigned herself to this current position for the time being.

"Where am I?"

"In a holding cell aboard the Dominance." Wraith answered. "Please don't think about trying to escape, there's no way out." He quickly added. "And I hate for someone other than me to have to stop you."

"And I'm willing to bet you've got safeguards surrounding your shuttle and starfighter." Ahsoka replied. Wraith smirked.

"You know me well, my dear." He commented. Ahsoka gave a light, breathy chuckle. She did know him pretty well, considering they were boyfriend and girlfriend after all. Looking down, she took stock of the strange white clothes she was clad in, a very stark contrast to the darker brown attire she normally wore.

"What a strange outfit..." She quietly noted.

"So used to wearing your Jedi attire?" Wraith wondered. Ahsoka slowly nodded.

"I guess so." She answered.

"Nothing wrong with a little change up. To be honest, I like it on you. It really highlights your facial markings." Wraith whispered, gently reaching out and stroking her cheek. Ahsoka unconsciously leaned into his touch, having grown used to it over the past while. He was always gentle and careful with her, something she was quickly coming to appreciate.

"You sure everything will be okay?" She softly asked, looking up into his crimson optics. She wished he would take off his helmet so she could see his eyes.

"You have my word." He replied with a nod. Ahsoka believed him and relaxed under his touch, feeling bit better now. Wraith had successfully calmed her down. His presence always seemed to do that for her, their numerous intimate encounters testament to his ability to bring out a side of her not even she had known about.

"Can you let me out of these cuffs? I get the feeling this room has Force-dampeners."

"I will," he answered, "in a moment." With that, he leaned in and captured her lips in a loving embrace. Ahsoka, always happy to receive one of his kisses, quickly closing her eyes and reciprocating. As long as Wraith was around, she would be okay...

When he entered the laboratory and spotted Scipio, the young Firrerreo smiled.

"Everything worked out just like in the plan." He informed. "Now what do Dooku and Sidious want Ahsoka to do inside the Jedi Temple?" Scipio turned to regard the Firrerreo, a holographic transmission of Count Dooku beside him.

"Count Dooku this is the young man who has suddenly come to us." Scipio introduced. "Deiven Virlo, from another time and place."

"A fascinating meeting indeed." Dooku mused. "So you wish to help us, Master Virlo? Tell us more about your friend on the inside."

"So Scipio choose to go with the truth then," Deiven noticed and smiled to the Sith Lord. "Greeting Lord Tyranus. As the doctor probably mentioned, I came here with the Ahsoka Tano from my timeline. She has currently infiltrated the Jedi Temple and can obtain information about the Jedi and the Republic, which to tell the truth, would not be hard for your Master, or she can obtain their holocrons. Of course she can also assassinate certain individuals if you need."

"What a fortuitous opportunity." Dooku mused, stroking his beard. "Such a means we must not ignore."

"I thought so too, my lord." Scipio agreed.

"Tell her she may begin, Deiven, by sending us information on Republic troop movements and battle plans. Once we begin to dismantle the Republic's operations, we may move to strike them at their core." Dooku commanded.

"Alright then," Deiven nodded, but immediately asked. "What about the Ahsoka we captured? If she escapes and warns the Republic, our whole plan will be shattered."

"I believe Wraith has that covered." Scipio replied. He bore a certain look of unease when approaching that subject, but did not elaborate any further. "You said you and your partner will not be here for long, correct? About how long will you be around for?"

"Long enough to leave a significant mark on everything." Deiven replied with a sinister grin on his face as his eyes illuminated with a yellow hue. "Don't worry Count. After we're done, the Jedi Order won't be the same."

Wraith's lips retreated from Ahsoka's as his sensors alerted him to Deiven's approach. As the Firrerreo entered, Wraith closed up his mouthguard but Ahsoka was unable to hide the flushed look on her face.

"Everything's good, I presume?" The super-soldier asked.

"Yup." Assured the ArchKnight. "Everything went according to plan. Can I talk with you for a minute? Unless you don't want to keep secrets from your girlfriend?" Ahsoka felt her blush flare up again and looked away.

"That depends. Is this sensitive information?" Wraith answered. "And she's not my girlfriend... yet. We're... lovers, I guess." He corrected, developing a ruse from the getgo. The best approach to hiding something was to do the polar opposite of what was anticipated.

"I figured that when you kissed her back on JanFathal," the young Firrerreo replied with a mischievous smile. "Actually, it would be good if the two of you would listen to what I have to say. As I mentioned earlier, I'm here to explore this timeline and bring balance to the Force. You two influence each other really nicely." Deiven looked at The Wraith. "Ahsoka is able to pull out your softer side while, thanks to you, she's able to feel powerful emotions, which is frowned upon in the Jedi Order, especially with you two being 'enemies'."

"I'm not sure I like where he's going with this..." Ahsoka said with obvious hesitation, looking up at Wraith, both faking and intending her reaction. She decided to play the part of a faithful Jedi caught up in something far bigger than her.

"What do you mean, bring balance?" Wraith wondered, crossing his arms. He too did not like where Deiven was going. "You mean to tell me you plan on interfering with our affairs here? I though you just wanted to learn and collect data?" Deiven pointed his finger at the Wraith.

"Don't give me that pretentious tone." He replied. "You were okay with everything we did when we helped you and the Separatists instead of staying neutral, but now you speak about learning and collecting data? It's true, we did came here to learn." He went on. "We learn about the timelines and bring balance if possible. Sometimes we just watch, sometimes we must act. It's much easier to destroy a timeline than actually direct it towards balance, but we haven't had to do that just yet. Your relationship is something that I find interesting and I believe can bring balance to this timeline. You may not believe me, but you have the power to decide the fate of this world. Not Anakin, not Darth Sidious, but you two." Wraith relaxed a little, uncrossing his arms. He looked to Ahsoka, who looked back at him. Both of them were thinking similar thoughts, confused yet curious all at once.

"I think you need to explain." Ahsoka said, turning back to Deiven. "And can I get out of these cuffs?" She asked Wraith again.

"Momentarily." Wraith replied.

"While Wraith isn't a Force-sensitive, he can help you to experience other aspects of the Force." Deiven replied, Wraith internally breathing a sigh of relief at his words. "Not by teaching you about the Force, but by his influence over you. By showing you that sometimes you can't show mercy to your enemies because not all of them deserve it, you can experience the dark side of the Force and, before you start saying that it corrupts others, it only corrupts those who don't use it with the Force. You can't save others with the dark side, only kill and destroy. Just like you can only use the light side to protect others."

The Firrerreo paused for breath before continuing. "Ahsoka, you feel emotions towards Wraith, but you need to stop being afraid of the dark side and respect its power." Deiven added. "You, Wraith, need to stop being just a soldier and become something more: your own Master." Ahsoka quickly came up with a refute, instinctively wishing to appear like the model Jedi she was supposed to be, just like they'd rehearsed in the past. She did love Wraith, yes, but what this Dieven was suggesting was totally contrary to even her basic nature as a Jedi.

"W-What do you mean I feel something about him? I can't feel anything for him, it's against the Code! Sure, I want to try and redeem him but I... I-I don't..." Ahsoka trailed off, falling back to an old standby routine she often used on other Jedi who wondered about the two of them. But as she was trying to counter Deiven's points, Wraith was thinking something else entirely.

"My own master... I do like the sound of that." He mused.

"And yet, you two are lovers." Deiven pointed out. Ahsoka fell silent. That much was true. "I must say trying to redeem someone with passion, that's an interesting way for a Jedi Padawan to bring someone to the light, don't you agree? I'm not saying passion is a bad thing, but it's nothing without real emotions behind it. The instinct to protect our loved ones gives us power, spurs us on to achieve things far beyond the possibilities of the Jedi and the Sith. That's how the light side works, it's a shield to protect ourselves and others while the dark side is a weapon to kill our enemies. Don't hide and cage your emotions inside you because eventually they'll come out on their own and then, the dark side will corrupt you because you refused to unleash it voluntarily. If you do unleash your emotions, you'll feel great relief and at peace."

The young Firrerreo looked at the super-soldier. "The Sith are simply using you," pointed out the ArchKnight. "When the war is over they'll toss you aside like a weapon that doesn't need to be used again, or worse... they'll get rid of you for good because they'll be afraid that you'll turn against them. Because to be honest, right now, you're blindly following orders and doing their biding without a moment's hesitation... just like them... just like the clones. For the Sith, you're just a powerful clone for the Separatist Alliance."

"I am nothing like a Clone..." Wraith growled. "But I haven't known any other lifestyle. This is all I know." He added, voice taking a softer tone.

"Ahsoka can show you that you're your own person." Deiven replied. "She cares about you." Again, Ahsoka assumed the role of the model Jedi accused of something false.

"I've been trying to do that. But he's so caught up in whatever brainwashing they've done to him I can't get through to him... if anything he's been influencing me more than anything." Ahsoka stated, quickly making up a response. "But... yeah... I-I guess I do care..."

"You care so much it's led to this." Wraith quietly said, impressed by her acting skills. He looked back up at Deiven. "Are you so certain about my superiors wanting to throw me away? I'm a valuable asset. The CIS need me."

"They need you because they're at war with the Republic or to be more precise the Sith are," pointed out the young Firrerreo, "they don't want peace, they only care about killing the Jedi and ruling over the galaxy. When the war is over, you'll become a super-soldier without a purpose and Sidious will order your extermination to be sure that no one is a threat to him. You have no future with them..." Deiven then looked at Ahsoka, "just like Ahsoka has no future with the Jedi Order. I know what awaits you and it's not a kind experience." That brought out the real Ahsoka.

"I... I-I what?" She stammered with wide eyes, visibly frightened. Wraith immediately snapped towards him, forgetting his role as well.

"Deiven, as much as I'd like to know, refrain from telling us anything. Just because it happened in your time doesn't mean it'll happen here too." He commanded, mostly for Ahsoka's sake.

"It actually happened in the main timeline and in many alternate timelines, but I'm not saying it's a bad thing." Stated the ArchKnight. "Ahsoka is a very passionate and compassionate girl with a loving heart and, as beautiful as it sounds, despite all that and her loyalty to the Order the Jedi won't take it into account when the time comes. You two can do so much more without the Jedi and Sith controling you." His words left Wraith scratching his helmet.

Main timeline? He thought. What the hell...?

"You... Y-You make it sound like I have the same problem he does." Ahsoka commented, calming herself down and recalling her role.

"Haven't I been saying that all this time?" Wraith wondered, glancing to her. Some of their many conversations had been based on that specific topic, in which Wraith had tried to coax out the fiery and hot-headed young apprentice she had once been. A person the Jedi seemed to frown upon.

"But I like being a Jedi!" She exclaimed to Deiven. "It's who I am, it's who I'm supposed to be!" She couldn't just... leave it.

"You don't like being a Jedi, you like helping others and feeling the thrill." Deiven stated. "If, for example, the Sith were the saviors of the galaxy and you were one of them, you would say that you like being a Sith. It's not about who your are, it's about what you do. You can help more people without the Jedi and their restrictions." Ahsoka fell silent, stuck pondering such a striking notion. All of a sudden she was now being forced to reconsider everything she held dear... and that troubled her greatly. Wraith motioned to the Firrerreo.

"Deiven, a moment." He said, exiting the cell. Once outside and with the door closed, he resumed. "I do not know how Ahsoka will respond to such information. I myself have attempted to sway her from her beliefs, but she is tenacious and will not be swayed so easily. I will accept what you have to say, but she will take much longer. Do me a favor and get in contact with your Ahsoka. The sooner we have what we need the better."

"Oh, she already thought about a way to help you." Assured the ArchKnight. "She'll get every Republic strategy from Anakin's astromech."

"Good. Skywalker's a fool to leave his astromech unguarded." Wraith commented, crossing his arms. "Tell me Deiven, when will your mission here be done?"

"Ahsoka will gather the data and check the Temple if anything is different," replied Deiven, "then she'll get back here so we can return home."

"Fair enough. Hopefully nothing complicates this plan... it almost seems too good to be true." Wraith mused.

"I doubt it, I mean the only thing that could go wrong is when your Ahsoka returns to the Jedi Order." Deiven said stroking his chin. "When my Ahsoka leaves Coruscant, they will be suspicious, so the information about the Separatists having Republic strategies will not be a secret."

"Unless we pull off another switch." Wraith theorized. "I have a safehouse on Coruscant. If your Ahsoka meets us there, we can switch them and the Jedi will only find out after it's too late for them to do anything about it."

"Hmmm... yes, that may work," Deiven replied.

"Let her know of our plans. I'm gonna go chat with Scipio." Wraith said, making to leave. Deiven nodded and walked off as well, fetching his communicator from his belt.

The super-soldier made his way to the lab, but was waylaid by Admiral Sereva before he could get there. The Twi'lek engaged him in conversation, unaware of the visitors from another timeline and Ahsoka's presence in the nearby holding cells. Wraith chose to avoid discussing those items as he had things under control... sort of.

Doctor Scipio, however, was taking advantage of this moment in order to test a hypothesis.

After Deiven and Wraith had left Ahsoka's holding cell, the Pau'an doctor slipped into the hall and walked right up to the cell's access panel. Part of the cell's design was a built-in ventilation system meant to administer harmless gases that could incapacitate the prisoner within. Scipio activated this special system and waited a few minutes before entering, the gases having dissipated and Ahsoka very much unconscious, laying on the floor. Kneeling next to her, the doctor produced from his coat a pneumatic injector filled with a glowing red substance. He carefully injected its entire contents into Ahsoka's neck, the veins around the point of entry glowing momentarily before fading as the substance quickly spread through her system.

"And now we wait..." He quietly mused, standing up and exiting the cell.

Meanwhile, on Coruscant...

Sitting alone in his office, Palpatine was hard at work on governmental matters. With a war came mountains of work, it seemed.

However, the Supreme Chancellor was about to receive a nasty surprise.

The door to his office slid open, revealing the alternate Ahsoka. Palpatine looked up as she entered, sitting up and back in his seat.

"Padawan Tano," he greeted, "I was not expecting you today. How may I help you?" Ahsoka looked around the office, making sure they were alone.

"I just want to inform you, Lord Sidious, that my mission is finished." She stated straight out. "I managed to download the memory banks of Anakin's astromech, which contains every strategy of the Republic." Palpatine sputtered at hearing her words.

"I'm... I'm sorry, I... I have no idea what you're talking about. What did you download?" He asked, trying to keep his calm demeanor.

"Artoo never had memory wipe so it was a pretty big file, but I managed it without getting caught." Ahsoka went on. "When the Wraith arrives on Coruscant, I will hand him the data so you can have the advantage over the Republic. Lord Tyranus will be pleased as well, I'm sure of it."

"Padawan Tano, please, I have no idea what you are talking about." Palpatine implored. "Who is this 'Lord Tyranus'? And just what is it about memory files you keep talking about?" While her words rang absolutely true to him, Palpatine did his best to keep up his calm yet confused veneer of Supreme Chancellor. But in truth, he was getting quite scared now. "The Wraith is coming here? What are you talking about?"

"Well to his hideout of course, and Lord Tyranus is Dooku," Ahsoka replied with an innocent smile, "don't tell me you forgot. I hope you remember about the chips inside the clones for the Order Sixty-Six because this will play a vital role in your plan to destroy the Jedi Order."

"Padawan are you accusing me of being a cohort of such an evil man?" Palaptine declared, feigning mixed hurt and shock. "I am a man of the Republic, I would never align myself with the likes of him. And what is this 'order sixty-six' you speak of? Surely not the auxiliary order, we have no need for it." As he spoke, he reached out with the Force to probe her. Something seemed off... she was similar to Anakin's apprentice, yet different in someway.

"Of course you don't," Ahsoka rolled her eyes, "and you never had a Master called Darth Plagueis or an apprentice called Maul. You're right, I should simply destroy the Republic data and forgot about it all. And yes the order, since we don't need it, I should inform the Masters about it so they can simply pull out the chips during the cloning procedure." This revelation of such truths was frightening Palpatine to no end. The fact that Ahsoka of all people was able to relay such important secrets of his was enough to make Palpatine sweat a little.

"Padawan Tano, I must insist that I do not know what you are talking about. Now, if you will excuse me, I am in the middle of some important work that needs to be finished."

"Alright." Ahsoka shrugged and turned on her heel. Without a word, she left his office. Palpatine let out a sigh as she disappeared, holding his head in his hands as he reflected on the frightening conversation he'd just had...

He would have to play things by ear. If Ahsoka knew and paraded it in such a bold manner, surely there was something afoot. He would wait and see what transpired next before he made his move...

Later that day...

After the alternate Ahsoka had sent back the Republic's tactical data, Wraith took charge escorting Deiven and his Ahsoka to his safehouse on Coruscant: a room in a small apartment complex in Coruscant's Urscru district.

"This place brings back good memories." Wraith mused with a smile, noting the bed off in the corner. It had only been a few days ago since they were last here.

"Yeah... I, uh... I guess it does." Ahsoka agreed, rather embarrassed to recall such things while in the company of a total stranger.

"You remember too, don't you my dear?" Wraith wondered with a smirk, his mouthguard retracted so his expression could clearly be seen.

"It's kinda hard to forget this place..." Ahsoka sheepishly admitted, her montrals flushing dark while she offered him an embarrassed grin. Deiven smirked and shook his head.

"Hehe, well I guess everything I've mentioned about you two is true." He stated with a chuckle. The young Firrerreo had sent the coordinates of the hideout to his Ahsoka and they waited for her.

Eventually, the Knight of the Kingdom entered the apartment with a proud smirk on her face.

"Mission accomplished!" She exclaimed. Ahsoka stared wide-eyed at her counterpart, the other Ahsoka looking exactly like her, although maybe a little older.

"By the Force..." She breathed. "She... S-She looks just like me..."

"Indeed. Hard to believe, I know." Wraith responded, standing up. "Good work. The data you retrieved was perfect, exactly what we were looking for." The alternate Ahsoka nodded before turning to her counterpart. The two Ahsoka's looked at each other, one with a shock written all over her face, the other with a friendly smile.

"No problem." Ahsoka replied looking towards the super-soldier. "It was a refreshing experience. Now..." she looked back at the other Ahsoka, "we need to get back into our own clothes. Is there a refresher we can use?"

"Back by the entrance, first door on your right." Wraith replied, pointing them down the hall. "Fair warning, it might be a tad small. This place isn't very big to begin with."

"It'll do." Ahsoka replied and gestured the Padawan to follow her. Ahsoka followed her duplicate into the refresher, leaving Deiven and Wraith to talk for a moment.

"I've been meaning to ask, have you ever encountered someone like me before in another timeline?" He wondered. "I'm just curious about this whole prospect of a multiverse."

"You mean someone who appeared in the main timeline and created the alternate one? Yup, many," answered the young Firrerreo. "Hell, I even meet a female clone."

"Female Clones?" Wraith repeated, incredulous. "Never seen one... then again, I would've killed it without thinking. Ever meet a super-soldier? Republic-made or otherwise?"

"Nope, not yet at least." Deiven replied. "There are many alternate timelines so I don't think I can visit them all quickly despite my immortality."

"Fair enough." Wraith mused. "Glad to know I'm still one-of-a-kind."

"Heh, yes you are." Confirmed the young Firrerreo with a chuckle. While the two of them talked, the two Ahsokas also got a chance to talk.

"I've left a surprise for you in your room at the Temple," said the Knight of the Kingdom, "a small datapad with all the locations of the droid factories."

"How did you get your hands on that?" Ahsoka asked as she handed her duplicate's clothes over. "How long were you with them for? Surely Wraith was keeping an eye on you two."

"On my friend yes, but not on me." Ahsoka replied, giving the Padawan her clothes as well as her akul-tooth headdress. While Ahsoka the Padawan had a standard tooth headdress, Ahsoka from the Kingdom had pearl-white and golden ones, which were proof of her loyalty just like her white-gold colored Togruta sash. "The Clone Wars are over in our time," she added, "so we know all the locations of the droid factories. Show the datapad to Master Yoda so that the Republic will have an edge against the Separatists."

"They're over?" Ahsoka wondered as she got dressed. "Do you know if they'll end for us?"

"Sooner or later, they always end." Ahsoka replied, adjusting her outfit and checking her weapons. "Alright I have everything. It's good to have my own clothes on. Oh, before we leave, when you meet Master Obi-Wan tell him I'm sorry for the nose." Ahsoka paled at the notion of what her double might've done.

"What did you do?!" The Padawan exclaimed.

"He discovered that I'm not you so we got into a little fight." Ahsoka replied scratching the back of her head. "A broken nose was a consequnce of that battle. Don't worry, he's fine. Let's go." Ahsoka sighed and rubbed her temples, realizing she'd have a lot of explaining to do when she got back to the Temple.

And who knows what else this alternate her had done that she didn't know about?

The two Togrutas exited the refresher, now properly dressed in their respective outfits.

"I presume you two are good to go now?" Wraith inquired. His Ahsoka nodded, straightening out her clothes.

"I guess. This has been so wierd. Not how I thought today would go." She answered.

"Skyguy is alright so you don't have to worry about him." Assured the other Ahsoka as she walked over to Deiven's side.

"Just remember what I told you." Reminded the ArchKnight. "We'll come to visit you in the future to see if this timeline has taken a step towards the balance." Yahoo. Wraith internally groaned. More temporal hijinks... just great. "I wish you two the best of luck and I hope you'll survive the incoming events. Take care of Scipio, Wraith. And you, Ahsoka, take care of the old big and sinister over here."

"I will." Wraith nodded.

"I'll try." Ahsoka replied with a smirk. The Knight Ahsoka placed her hand on Deiven's shoulder.

"See you in the future." He said while his Ahsoka waved with her free hand. The ArchKnight closed his eyes and the two members of the Kingdom vanished without a trace. Wraith shook his head a little as the time-travelers disappeared.

"What a hell of a day..." He muttered with a sigh, pulling off his helmet.

"You're telling me." Ahsoka added, shaking her head as she still tried to comprehend everything that had transpired.

"Personally, I kinda hope they forget about us. One weird day is enough for me." Wraith added, running a hand through his hair. Ahsoka lightly chuckled at his comment, before turning serious and getting back to the tasks at hand.

"I've got to get back to the Temple... the Jedi need to know what she did." She said. Trailing off, Ahsoka soon spoke again, "Is there a chance you can give me back those battle plans of ours?" She wondered, looking up to the super-soldier.

"I'm afraid not, my dear. It's out of my hands now." He replied. Glancing around the room, Wraith lightly chuckled before turning back to Ahsoka. "Want to make some more 'memories' while we're here?" That brought a full-on laugh from Ahsoka.

"Wraith, I love you and all, but I don't have time. I really need to go." She replied and turned around to leave. Wraith accepted that, only hoping and not actually expecting her to stay. But before she left, Ahsoka stopped and looked back at him. "You have some recording software in your helmet, right?" Wraith tilted his head.

"I do." He answered.

"Can you... Can you get me a recording of what Deiven told us back on the Dominance?" She wondered. "I... I think I need to listen to it a few times."

"I will. I feel like I should do the same." Wraith replied. "Before you go, I will find some footage of your duplicate in order to prove you correct before the Council." Ahsoka breathed a sigh of relief.

"Great. Thanks Wraith." She responded with a smile. Wraith returned it, pleased that this craziness hadn't hampered her too much. Grabbing a nearby datapad, Wraith set to work sharing the footage...

Bounding up the steps of the Jedi Temple, Ahsoka clutched the datapad loaded with her evidence tightly in one hand and sincerely hoped her alternate hadn't caused much trouble while she was imprisoned. She had a feeling something had gone terribly awry though, when a pair of Temple guards ignited their yellow blades and ordered her to halt as soon as she reached the top.

"Ahsoka Tano, by order of the Council you are to be detained for assaulting Master Kenobi." One of the masked Jedi commanded.

"Wait! Please, that wasn't me! I need to speak with my master!" Ahsoka pleaded, holding out her arms in surrender while showing off the datapad. "I have something that he and the Council need to see!"

"Do we now?" The voice of Mace Windu queried as he and several other Jedi arrived on the scene.

"Master Windu!" Ahsoka exclaimed in relief, happy to see someone she could talk to.

"You've got some explaining to do, Padawan." The grim Councillor stated with arms crossed.

"Trust me, I can explain!" Ahsoka replied.

"I sure hope so." Anakin muttered as he stood beside Mace. "What's going on, Ahsoka?"

"I know it's going to sound crazy, but I have proof that the person responsible for attacking Master Obi-Wan wasn't me."

"You sure do look like the one who broke my nose," Kenobi mused as he joined the conversation, "what proof do you have, Ahsoka?" The Togruta held out her datapad.

"Right here. Trust me, you all need to see this." She told them.

Author's Note: Once again, kudos to Baraqel for pitching the idea of this crossover and for going back and forth with me on it. Be sure to check out his story to see how this unfolded from Deiven's perspective!
