Disclaimer: I don't own Naruto or the Legend of Korra.

A/N: I haven't got many votes the past month (Only 5 votes since Sept and just got three the other day) the top 5 are just a few votes from each other I'm at 306 votes overall and if I don't get to 325 by the time I get to s3 of Ultimate Spider-Man I'll end the poll and do the top 21 for the remainder of the story.

And if the top three are still close/tied by the time of starting s4 I'll start a new poll then. Also, I'll try to get the next USM ch up by Sunday as I'm going to wait to do the OP to the week of Thanksgiving or after as I'll do the Ch's that use one ep first. But just in case I don't upload this on the week I hope you have a safe and happy Thanksgiving.

Book Two

Spirits

Chapter I

Rebel Spirits.

Six months ago, Avatar Korra and Naruto defeated Amon and the Equalists. Since then, the Council was disbanded and the United Republic elected its first president. Tenzin's brother, Commander Bumi, retired and moved to Air Temple Island. And Korra and her lovers, Naruto, and Asami have been the talk of the town. Peace has come to Republic City but unbeknownst to the Avatar, danger now threatens the Southern Water Tribe.

Seven Months Later; Morning, Island. (1.)

On an island's beach, an unconscious Korra lays near the water before she stirs for a moment and slowly opens her eyes. As her vision clears, she sees three fire sages, two men, one woman standing over her before her eyes widen in shock. Korra then quickly spins her legs around, airbending a small whirlwind around her as she stands, pushing the sages back. "Get away from me!"

Korra then stumbles and falls to her knees. "It's okay, we're here to help you, Avatar Korra." One of the males with grey hair mustache, and beard said as she looked at him in confusion.

"Who's- Who's Avatar Korra?"

The sage looks at her with concern, then to the other sages who give Korra the same worried look. "What happened to you? How did you end up on our island?"

"I... don't know. I can't remember anything." Korra whimpers in exhaustion and falls back to the ground before the sages reach down to help her.

(Flashback, One Month Ago.) (2.)

(A/N: Even though this up to Ep 6 will be a flashback, it will not be in Italic.)

Night Sea.

Rain poured down on a ship as an old man walked up to a young one holding a lantern.

"This your first watch?"

"Mm-hmm."

"Well then, you'd better keep your eyes peeled, laddie. You never know what creatures lurk in the murky depths.

The young man gasped and looked down as the old man chuckled and turned to walk away. Meanwhile, a squid-like spirit the size of the boat swims underneath it.

"Uh, sir."

The old man looked back and raised the lantern. "What-Aah!" A tentacle grabbed the man and pulled him into the water.

"Man overboard! Man overboard!" The man yelled before more tentacles came out with gold glowing spots and wrapped around the bot before pulling it under the water.

Nighttime, Republic City, Pro-Bending Arena.

"It's Pro-bending night in Republic City, and have we got a doozy for you. Fan favorites, the Fire Ferrets, are about to take on hot newcomers, the Rhino-Lions." The announcer said as Bolin and Pabu, both in uniform with Pabu standing on a railing as he looked to the others.

"Now we all know that our last match was garbage. Terrible. Even Pabu could have done a better job." Pabu chirped at that and moved closer to Bolin. "But that's in the past, because when you back a Fire Ferret in the corner, well, mister, he comes out fighting!" Pabu hissed as he got in a fighting stance. "So let's get out there and bend like there's no tomorrow. Are you with me?"

Bolin pumped his fist as he looked at a female firebender who held her arm nervously, and a waterbending boy who was rubbing his nose.

They went into the arena and were quickly knocked out into the water. "Ooh, the Fire Ferrets go down in the water and right into the record books for the fastest knockout in pro-bending history.

"Where's Mako when I need him?" Bolin asked, getting on the platform elevator.

In the city, Mako in a police uniform rode a motorcycle chasing a truck with three men inside. The back door opened cup revealing two went to the back. One moves water in front of the other who claps his hands, having the water turn to steam. They then pour water onto the street and freeze it. Mako gasps as his bike spins before melting the ice with his fire and sees another truck move from an intersection cutting him off from the first truck.

Mako sees a plank of wood propped up and drives over it to jump over the truck with his firebending. He saw the truck he was chasing as his bike nosedived before hitting the truck with the fire having the engine blow having it spin and hit a hydrant as Mako landed and slid to a stop. Mako then got off his bike and walked up taking off his helmet and goggles.

"Looks like you had some car trouble. Good thing the police are here."

On the other side of the city, in a rundown building, Naruto in his vest with a star badge on it, two bracers on his arms, and his entire right arm, chest, and neck wrapped, his black pants, and boots walked down a hall with Zira who had lighter armor on and three men with the task force armor.

Coming to a door at the end of the hall, Naruto knocked on it. "Open up Pon, we know you're working with the Triads! We've got a warrant for your arrest!" After a moment of silence, Naruto looked at Zira. "Guess we break it down."

"Right." She nodded before they got ready to do so.

Only for a man with fair skin, black hair, green eyes, wearing a white A shirt and black pants and shoes to break the door down on top of them.

Pon kicked the man beside the door on his left before jumping off the man on his right to water pipes by the wall before turning to grab the ones on the ceiling and side spun over the third man before running down the hall. "Damn, they always run!" Naruto pushed the door off and got up with Zira before they ran after Pon.

They caught up to see Pon grabbing a vertical pipe at the corner of the hall to swing to the left before kicking a man into the wall and continuing running. Naruto and Zira followed him into a stairwell where Pon ran to a closed door then jumped off a radiator at the wall, grabbed a pipe, and went feet first into a transom window having them follow while the three men broke the door down.

Going to an empty room, Pon went through a sliding door to a balcony, jumped over it, grabbed a railing, and slid down to the balcony below. Naruto jumped down onto the balcony while Zira slid down as Pon did. They chased Pon into the hallway and had him run to an open window where three ropes hung down.

Pon dived and grabbed one to side swing to the next building using firebending with Naruto and Zira following suit. The three task members slid to a stop at the window before looking to their left to see an open room with a board connecting to the other building and ran after. Pon ran into the building and another hallway before running to an open window and a metal decorating the side that looked like a ladder before climbing it.

Naruto followed as he quickly climbed as Zira was behind him. The three members saw Zira go out the window before going to the stairwell and running up the stairs to the roof. Pon came up on the roof and ran along the edge before coming up to the end and jumped over the gap to the next building. Naruto jumped and had air come out of his feet to shoot him slightly farther as Zira did the same with fire coming out of her feet and landed in a roll.

Running to a corner, Pon jumped off and fell a story down to another corner with Naruto and Zira following, both landing in a roll. Pon got to the other side and climbed a pipe to get up to the next building with Naruto using airbending to jump up as Zira also climbed the pipe and followed. Pon jumped down to another building before coming to an opening in the roof and dropped down before seeing he was in a stairwell.

He then jumped over the railing and continued going down before seeing a task force officer and kicked him over the railing to fall on the lower set and slide down. Continuing down, Pon then saw a female waterbender task force officer and kicked her into a wall. Up above, Naruto jumped over the railing and just fell through the middle, grabbing a railing every few stories to slow himself down as Zira did the same.

Pon, seeing a group of task force officers just below him, went into a hallway and to a balcony where he jumped over it, fell two stories, and landed in a crouch before he started running as Naruto and Zira followed suit. Pon came to a small gap between buildings before quickly vaulting over it with one hand as Naruto and Zira jumped over the gap. Pon then jumped up onto an outside hallway and ran to the end to a fence separating it from the next building.

Pon jumped up to grab the end and swung around to the other side as Naruto did the same with Zira behind him. Pon got to the end and jumped off several stories above the next building before he was tackled by Naruto and fell on the roof of the building. "You're… Under… Arrest!" Naruto panted out as Zira landed on a roll and walked up.

Morning Future Industries Airfield.

Asami with a pilot cap and goggles landed a plane before jumping out to show she had white pants on.

Taking off the cap and goggles, she shook her head before walking to an engineer. "I think these planes are finally ready to ship."

"I hate to mention the elephant-rhino in the room, but since your father was thrown in prison, no company will work with us. We're nearly bankrupt."

"Don't worry. I've got Naruto as a spokesperson with his stuff coming out soon. I'm also going to the South Pole to meet with someone who can help us put Future Industries back on top." She said before walking off and frowning.

"Aw, come on, why the long face?"

She was then grabbed from behind as Naruto rested his head on her shoulder. "It's just the weight of the company Naruto."

"Well, I'm sure I can turn that frown upside down," Naruto replied before walking with her, arm around her waist.

Air Temple Island.

Korra and the children on air-balls race around the island, and go past the airbending gates, making them spin. They then drop over a ledge before Ikki looks back at Korra with a smirk and Korra looks back. Korra smirks at herself as she turns her head back to the front and her eyes glow as she enters the Avatar State.

Ikki looks on with surprise as Korra takes the lead and passes through the torii gate and wins the race with Bumi waving a checkered flag as the airbender children cross the finish line before coughing from the dust. "The Avatar is the winner!"

Korra stood as her glowing eyes faded back to normal as Ikki ran up to her. "No fair. You can't go into the Avatar State to win." Ikki whined as Korra stuck her tongue out at her.

"You did what?"

They turned to see Tenzin walking up. "The Avatar State is not to be used as a booster rocket. You are toying with a dangerous power that you obviously do not appreciate." He finished as he walked up to the Avatar.

"It's the 'Avatar State,' and I'm the Avatar. Who appreciates it more than me?"

"Clearly, you need more training to grasp the depths of your spiritual connections, not to mention that you're still a long way from mastering airbending," Tenzin explained, crossing his arms.

"I have mastered airbending," Korra said before punching air out of her fists out at the bushes beside her. "Punch, punch, punch! See? Mastered."

"Looks pretty good to me," Bumi commented with a smile as he walked over.

"Is it too late for you to un-retire from the United Forces?" Tenzin asked with a sigh as Bumi put an arm on his shoulders.

"The paperwork's gone through, little brother. From now on, it's 24/7 Bumi time!"

Tenzin sighed again as he looked at Korra. "You've mastered Korra-style airbending. Now you need to master real airbending. Hopefully, our visit to all of the Air Temples will give you the inspiration you need to delve more deeply into your studies." Tenzin explained holding a map having Korra groan as the kids started asking questions.

"Can we see where grandpa Aang was born?"

"How many lemurs can I have?"

"I want to get tattoos, but instead of arrows I want lightning bolts," Ikki said, pounding her chest before Jinora looked over.

"You can't get lightning bolts. That doesn't make any sense."

"You don't make any sense!"

"Fight, fight, fight!"

"No one's fighting." Tenzin interrupted his kids. "We're going to have a wonderful time. Now that the President is in office and I'm not needed on the Council, I can finally relax with my family and give Korra the attention she needs."

Korra crossed her hands at that. "Rather get more attention from Naruto."

"Relax?" Bumi asked in an amused tone. "I'd pay money to see that. Maybe I'll tag along just to see 'Vacation Tenzin.'"

"You're not invited."

"Before we go on your dad's study trip, we're going to have some real fun in my hometown at the Glacier Spirits Festival," Korra explained to the kids as she leaned down, hands on her knees. "They've got rides, games, and all kinds of fried food on sticks."

"Yay!" All three of them cheered at that as they ran around the adults.

"Yep, there's Vacation Tenzin." Bumi teased his brother who looked annoyed. "And you can't stop me from going to the festival. Mom already invited me."

Night, Boat.

"Man, I'm sore."

Naruto groaned, rubbing his right arm sans bracers in a thin long-sleeved shirt and dark blue pants. "Damn Pon had to pull that stunt when I just got this." He leaned against Naga as he, Korra who had her arm warmers on sat on the side deck.

"At least you had fun. All I do is train all day. It's like Tenzin's totally forgotten how I beat Amon."

"Tenzin's just trying to help you become the best Avatar you can be."

"Of course you'd take his side," Korra said standing up.

"I'm not taking his side. But I'm not gonna blow smoke up your ass or lie just to spare your feelings. You want that, then you should have gotten with someone like Mako." Naruto said standing as well.

"That would be a disaster." She replied before being pushed against the metal beam connected to the roof.

"I'm not gonna be a yes man, Korra. You do something stupid and I'll tell you. You want my opinion, I'll tell you even if it's not what you want to hear." Naruto said as he placed her hands above her head and started to kiss her neck having her moan as she leaned her head to the side.

She then looked at Naruto before slamming her lips to his and broke free to jump up to wrap her legs around his waist. (3.)

South Pole Docks.

"Gran-Gran!"

The kids yelled out running to Katara and another tall woman, has dark tanned skin, wearing Water Tribe clothes, and a choker and has long gray hair pulled in a ponytail with two bangs framing her face.

"Oh, you've all gotten so big."

"We missed you, Aunt Kya," Jinora said, hugging the woman.

"Oh, I missed you too," Kya said with a smile. "Your father doesn't bring you to visit nearly enough." She said before noticing Tenzin and walked over to him. "He's probably scared I'll beat him up like when we were kids." She finished playfully punching his shoulder.

"I'm not scared of you…" Tenzin said before rubbing his shoulder. "Anymore."

Naruto walked with Korra and Asami to Tonraq. "I hope you're not getting my daughter into any more trouble up in the city." He said crossing his arms

"Well, now, you're asking the impossible, I mean she did get us arrested on our first day."

"Knock it off, Naruto," Korra said, swatting his arm before Naruto was pulled into a hug by Kya.

"Hello, Naruto."

"Hello, Ky-AH!"

She then reached up to twist his ear. "Not one call or letter when leaving for Republic City! And I told you to call me mom. I did adopt you."

Naruto sighed at that "OK, mom. I missed you too." Naruto rubbed his ear as Kya noticed his bandaged hand.

"What the hell happened?"

"… Nothing," Naruto replied before Kya started to take his shirt off. "Hey!"

"Oh, hush. I'm a healer, you got nothing I ain't seen yet."

"L-Look, it's nothing real-LY!" Kya pulled his shirt off and saw the bandage area before quickly taking water out of a jug, froze it, sliced the bandage off, and revealed a tattoo.

Its roots going from all five of his fingers up his arm to his neck and back of his shoulder. (4.)

She turned her attention to Naruto who started to sweat. "Why do you have that?"

"A reminder of Konoha."

She gave an eerie smile, having Naruto take a step back before turning to run. "GET BACK HERE!"

A half an hour later, Naruto rubbed the bump on his head as he had his shirt back with his blue coat as Bolin looked around. "Wow, look at all these people that came out to greet us."

"Uh, no. They came to greet them." Korra said, pointing to a large white and blue ship that docked.

"The great chief of the Northern Water Tribe comes to grace us with his presence," Tonraq said, crossing his arms. "Hooray."

The ramp dropped as two guards walked down in front of a Water Tribe man with long brown hair, two bangs with decorations on them.

Behind him are two young teens with shoulder-length hair, one wearing eye makeup wearing cloaks that cover their body.

"Just relax, Tonraq. He'll be gone soon enough." Senna said to her husband.

"Whoa, who are the lovely ladies?" Bolin asked, checking the twins out.

"That's Eska and Desna, the chief's children," Korra replied, looking over her shoulder. "Desna is a guy."

"Oh, no, sure. I knew that." Bolin spoke as Naruto looked over.

"You're lucky Korra told you. She didn't tell me."

"And which one is Desna?" Bolin asked only to be ignored as Unalaq walked up.

"Good to see you again, Avatar Korra." Unalaq greeted his niece with a bow as he brought his hands together.

"Good to see you too," Korra replied, bowing as well.

"Tonraq."

"Brother."

The two stared at each other for a moment before the group walked to the fairgrounds. "It's a shame the Southerners have abandoned all connections to the spirits, even during the most hallowed times," Unalaq stated as they walked before Korra looked around.

"I've always loved the Glacier Spirits Festival. It's fun."

"This festival used to be a solemn time of fasting and meditation. Now it's just a chance to watch some rube try to stick an entire arctic hen in his mouth." Unalaq commented as they stopped and saw Bolin doing just that.

"Traditions change," Tonraq said to his brother. "It's not the end of the world."

"Tell that to the sailors who are being attacked by angry spirits in southern waters. Some traditions have a purpose."

"Wait, spirits are attacking ships?" Korra asked in surprise.

"I'm surprised the Avatar doesn't know about that," Unalaq said before turning to Korra.

"Apparently you haven't been given all the information you need. It would be my honor to instruct you in the spiritual ways of the Water Tribe."

"I wouldn't mind learning about fighting spirits. Airbending is getting pretty boring." Korra said before Naruto leaned down.

"Only because it's too slow for you to learn-!"

Korra elbowed him at that before Tonraq looked at his brother. "Tenzin is Korra's instructor. He can give her all the training she needs."

"So you've said," Unalaq said before leaving as Naruto leaned down to kiss Korra.

"I'm gonna go help Asami with her meeting."

Turning, Naruto jogged back to the docks and saw Asami talking with Bolin and Pabu.

"I'm glad you came with me to this meeting. Varrick is one of the richest men in the world, and he controls the entire global shipping business. So you're my assistant. Just stand there and don't say anything."

"No problem. Pabu and I are natural assistants."

"What about me?" Naruto asked as he got beside Asami. "Am I just the arm candy?"

"Yes, yes you are," Asami said before they walked up the ramp as Bolin looked at the ship.

"Man, this is nice. I gotta get into this whole 'business' thing."

Once going inside, they saw a group of people on pillows around one man who sat cross-legged who had his eyes closed in concentration with his hands on his head. He has tan skin with short dark brown hair, and a mustache, wearing a blue and grey suit with a blue coat.

Beside him is a woman with fair skin, brown hair in a bun wearing purple clothing.

After a moment, the man opened his eyes and looked around with a smile. "Did you see that Levitation! I was a foot off the ground. Is that incredible or what?"

Naruto raised an eyebrow at that as the others clapped. "How does he do that?"

"That's unbelievable."

"What?" Bolin asked, raising an eyebrow himself. "It looked like you were just sitting on a pillow."

The man, who stood up, looked at Bolin before walking to get into his face. "Are you saying I wasn't levitating?"

"Uh, no?" Bolin asked nervously before the man smiled and wrapped an arm around Bolin.

"Well, why didn't anyone tell me? Now I look like an idiot! Swami, you're fired!" He said to one man who then walked out bowing before pulling the three to a pillow each. "I like you, kid. You're a real straight shooter, just like me. Ms. Sato? He's with you?" He asked Asami who nodded.

"Mm-hmm."

"Brought your tiger-shark with you to do business, huh? Now that's moxie. Zhu Li, get some tea for my guests.." He said to the woman who quickly brought over a tray of teacups.

"Thank you for meeting with me. As you know, Future Industries is looking for a partner to handle our shipping-!"

"Sure." The man interrupted her. "But first, you gotta check out my new venture: moving pictures. Zhu Li, do the thing. You're gonna love this." Zhu Li then dropped the tray, got up, and went to a projector before turning it on and showed a black and white movie of a bird running. "Mind-blowing, right?"

"Yeah," Bolin commented as Naruto looked at the movie.

"Now, forget that! That's the past! Shut it off, Zhu Li!" Zhu Li then shut it off as a woman with short red hair, fair skin, and wearing a blue dress with a slit walked into the room. "Imagine watching this. Ginger, come over here and do your poses."

Ginger walked over and did several poses before the people clapped. "Spectacular." The man said standing in front of a drooling Bolin who tried to look past the man who continued. "And we tell a story. There's romance, action, some funny animal stuff for the kids. You know, whatever. Thanks, Ginger. Go rest your gams." Ginger walked off before the man sat down.

"How about that, tiger-shark? We're gonna do big business with these 'movers,' as I call 'em." Naruto was about to speak but stopped so as not to hurt Asami's chances.

"Okay. But I'm just concentrating on getting Future Industries back on track." Asami said from her spot. "If we could hammer out a deal-!"

"STOP!" The man interrupted before leaning into Asami to look her in the eye. "Look me in the eye." After a tense moment, the man smiled. "We got a deal! We'll hammer out the details at the royal feast tonight. Now, who wants a rocket-boat ride?" He asked, walking out with the group sans the three teens.

"Is that how business usually goes?" Bolin asked before Asami ruffled his hair with both of her hands.

"You are a natural assistant."

Later That Night, Grand Hall.

In an enormous hall made out of ice, a large feast is going as Korra, her parents, Unalaq, and his children are sitting at the head table while the others are on the side.

"This is a wonderful feast in your honor, Uncle."

"This is nothing. When this festival was founded, the tribal elders would commune with the spirits. People would watch the brilliant displays of light as spirits danced in the sky." Unalaq explained as Korra took a sip from her glass.

"Wow. I've never seen that."

"And that is a shame since the Avatar is the bridge between the material world and the spirits. That is why I want so badly to teach you, to help you fulfill your destiny." Unalaq explained before Tonraq leaned forward.

"I thought I had made it clear that Tenzin is teaching her."

"Every Avatar before you traveled the world to learn. It was Tenzin and your father who kept you secluded at the South Pole." Unalaq said to Korra who looked forward.

"I thought Aang ordered the White Lotus to keep me down here?"

"We all did what we thought was best for you," Tonraq explained, having his daughter cross her arms over her bust.

"Who I train with should be my decision, Dad, not yours or Tenzin's."

Bumi at his family's table looked at the head before looking at Tenzin. "Looks like someone's trying to take your place as the Avatar's stick-in-the-mud mentor."

"Bumi, don't pick on Tenzin." Kya said, leaning her head on her hand. "You know he's always been sensitive."

"I'm not sensitive!" Tenzin huffed as his siblings chuckled while Katara, holding Rohan, looked on before Unalaq stood up.

"As your chief, it is my honor to speak at this festival, which was founded to bring our tribes together and restore the ancient balance between our world and that of the spirits. But I am saddened to see what it has become… A cheap carnival that celebrates greedy and trivial humans. I fear the time is fast approaching when the North can no longer stand idly by while our Southern brothers slip into total spiritual decay. Angry spirits are already attacking ships in your waters. I only hope we are not too late to change course."

Unalaq closed his eyes for a moment before sitting as Varrick stood up. "Chief Unalaq, everybody. Always great to have him in town. Now let's have some fun with Wacky Wushu's dancin' otter-penguins."

A Man with otter-penguins came out to entertain the people, having them clap.

Later, Naruto sat with Asami and Korra as they fed each other cotton candy as Bolin, who was walking with Mako, looked on before seeing Korra's cousins and walked over.

"Those two have always creeped me out. They smell like a grandma's attic." Korra spoke as Naruto looked over.

"Probably rebelling against the parents… Usually, the nicer the life, the better the chance the kids act out like your cousins." He said before they stood up and looked at Bolin who stopped by the two to speak.

"Hey, I'm Bolin. I'm a friend of Korra's. You're Eska, right? Wow, I'm just… I'm loving these robes." Eska turned to stare at him, having Bolin clear his throat. "Ahem! So you are from the North, Right? Cool. That's like, you know, that's, like, my favorite direction."

"I think he is trying to establish some kind of bond with you based on your geographic point of origin," Desna said to his sister who turned to look at him

"Perhaps it would be interesting to spend time with a person whose ways are so rough and uncultured." Eska then turned back to Bolin and smiled. "You amuse me. I will make you mine."

"You mean like a boyfriend or, or like a slave?"

"Yes," Eska replied before walking off and dragging Bolin off. "Win me prizes."

Naruto blinked at that before walking with Korra and Asami to a water gun game with an Aang target. "Unalaq offered to train me. He says he can teach me about the spirits and my connection to them."

"OK," Naruto said as they played. "What does Tenzin think?"

"Tenzin thinks I'm his prisoner or one of his kids. I'll never finish training with him in charge."

"Or given what happened with Aang, the leaders are worried you'd do the same if a crisis happened."

"What?" Korra asked as Naruto won the game and gave them two plus bison.

"Look, after reading up on your history, I gotta say… If Aang didn't fly off and get caught in that storm, would there have been a 100 year War? Plus you're the first Avatar in almost 200 years counting the time Aang was frozen. That possible spirit unbalance probably had the leaders over-corrected that time so you wouldn't make the same mistake."

"So you're taking their side?"

"No, I'm just saying look at it from their side. You don't ask WHY they did what they did, only how it affected YOU." Naruto said as they walked away.

"What would you know abo-!"

"You're right." Naruto interrupted her as they stopped. "I mean you were kept in a town that you could leave to visit friends and family. I mean all I went through was my parents being murdered the day I was born to stop a rampaging spirit from destroying my village. To save said village they put that spirit in me, and I've not only been on my own since I was five, but did so with the adults hurling insults at me, throwing stuff at me, and forbade kids from talking to me."

"Hell, they praised their kids when they attacked me and beat me into unconsciousness while leaving me in the woods. But yeah, you had it rough." Naruto finished having her look down.

"I'm sorry Naruto I didn't mean that."

"Yeah, just remember, the Avatar needs to put the world first most times because the first time you didn't you could have prevented a century war. And this thing with whether to train with your uncle or Tenzin. I never liked your uncle… He always sets something off for me. The only thing I can tell you is to trust your gut. Not your heart." Naruto finished before they continued walking.

Later That Night.

Korra, Naruto, and Asami lay against Naga in a hut before Naga woke up and walked outside waking the trio. "Naga, what are you doing?" Korra tiredly asked before they walked outside where Naga was howling. "Naga, hush." They tried to calm the polar bear dog down as she continued. "Quiet, Naga. You'll wake everyone up."

Suddenly, a black-purple spirit dashing to them. "Holy shit!" Naruto cursed as the spirit slammed into Korra and pushed her against a snow ban as gold energy came onto the front of its head to form a face.

"Asami. Get Tenzin!" Naruto ordered before running to Korra as Asami ran down the village.

Naruto jumped over and threw fire at the spirit as it opened its mouth to get his attention. He landed down and brought up rocks before kicking them over. The spirit then quickly dashed over to swipe at Naruto with its tail having the blonde jump over it as Tenzin and Tonraq ran up just as Naruto brought snow around the spirit then froze it.

The spirit just broke out of it as Tenzin ran up to the others. "Spirit, why are you angry with us? What have we done to offend you?"

Korra went into her Avatar State before the spirit made its way toward her. Korra then lifts herself into the air to dodge its attack, causing the entity to land in the festival market behind her. She shoots several fire blasts at the spirit from atop her air spout, but her attacks seem to have no effect, and the spirit grabs her with one of its tendrils, slamming her into a nearby stack of boxes.

The spirit stands over Korra, intending to issue another blow, when a stream of water controlled by Unalaq starts to encircle it, and the spirit ceases its attack. As Unalaq continues to bend the water so that it encircles the entity entirely, the water starts to glow gold, and the spirit changes color to match. As the water falls to the ground, the spirit begins to walk away, before disappearing.

"Go in peace," Unalaq said as the others ran over.

"Korra, are you all right?" Naruto asked s Korra ignored him to look at her uncle

"How were you able to control that spirit when no one else could?"

"As your father could tell you, I have spent my life studying the spirits and learning their ways. All of this knowledge is lost in the South, but I could teach you everything I know." Unalaq explained to Korra before Tenzin looked at Unalaq.

"Chief Unalaq, clearly, you are very knowledgeable, but Korra still has much to learn about airbending, and I hope that going to the Air Temples will help her connect with the past Avatars."

"The Air Temples will teach her nothing. Only I can give her the training she needs to be a complete Avatar."

"I've told you that will not happen," Tonraq said before Korra spoke.

"Hey, I'm right here! Does anyone want to ask me what I think?"

"Korra, please, listen," Tenzin said before Korra interrupted him.

"I'm tired of listening to you, both of you. You keep me locked up, telling me you know what's best, but both of you were powerless against the spirit attack. I think it's time I had a new teacher."

"Now, Korra-!"

"Unalaq has proven he's the only one who knows what I need to learn. I have to go with him."

"Please, I know you're angry," Tenzin spoke, looking at her. "But we've come so far together."

"I'm sorry, Tenzin. This is as far as we go." Korra said, crossing her arms as Tenzin just bowed.

"It has been a pleasure serving you, Avatar Korra."

Morning.

Tenzin was packing a bag as his family was on Oogi.

"I think you forgot a couple of things."

Tenzin looked up to see his mother and siblings before sighing. "Mother, I think I need some time alone with my family right now."

"This is your family, Tenzin. When you get to be my age, you'll be thankful for the time you had with your siblings. Besides, I think it's important that you all visit your father's home together." Katara said as the two walked up to their brother.

"Come on, it'll be fun," Bumi said, punching Tenzin's shoulder.

"I'm dying to see that laid-back 'Vacation Tenzin' I've heard so much about." Kya said as Tenzin sighed.

"All right. Hop on." The two walked to get on the bison as Tenzin hugged Katara. "I love you, Mom. "We'll see you soon."

Up on the mountain, Naruto stood with Korra as they watched the bison fly off. "Do you think I did the right thing?" Korra asked Naruto who sighed.

"No, not really… And you could have handled the thing with Tenzin better. But you made the choice, now you gotta take the consequences. As I said, I'm not going to blow smoke up your ass. I'll give you what I really think."

"I know this was a hard decision, Korra."

They turned to see Unalaq standing behind them. "But it was the right one. Now it is time to put it behind you and begin your new training. I have great plans for you."

To Be Continued.

A/N: Thanks for reading and let me know of any mistakes.

1. When that ep premiered I remembered people saying if the season started with Korra losing her memory, the season would have been better and after during s3 said that could have kept the viewership up so it wouldn't have gone to online only so I thought of doing that. Plus the next two eps will be canon and skipped as it's the Avatar Origin.

I do plan to do an OC Ch instead though.

2. Not sure how long it went from Rebel Spirits to The Sting if it's more, let me know and I'll fix it (Originally it was just a month.)

3. There's a Lime there that'll be up on the AO3 (ArchiveOfOurOwn) about an hour after this upload. More if I get called off for whatever reason.

4. When thinking up this idea I did plan to give Naruto a tattoo and when looking at ones online, came across this one that's Jeff Hardy's arm tattoo without the additional stuff to it as a way to remind him of Konoha. There will be a picture on my profile when I find one as well as being on AO3

OK since we're in the least favorite season after Thanksgiving I'm going to be a Ch ahead so updates will be a day or two after updating The Maelstrom Jedi. I'm not a huge hater of this season but think it's was a step backward mainly for character development.

And for the canon Mako/Korra fights I'm going for a Naruto will give his opinion/stand his ground. I hope I conveyed that well as well, I'm not a real angry person IRL and don't get into arguments much so I'm not sure if I conveyed it well/didn't make one or the other go too far/be a bitch/jackass If I did feel free to let me know.

I haven't got many votes the past month (Only 5 votes since Sept and just got three the other day) the top 5 are just a few votes from each other I'm at 306 votes overall and if I don't get to 325 by the time I get to s3 of Ultimate Spider-Man I'll end the poll and do the top 21 for the remainder of the story.

Nothing else to say.

Talk To You Later,

Lone Wolf Out.🐺
