The bus was full of noise. Laughter, playful arguments, the sound of music blaring on on of the first-years Bluetooth speakers. I felt Hinata's arm over my shoulder and could hear the echo of his voice talking to the others. But, I all I could feel was static.

Everything felt so bittersweet and numb. I knew what I would have to do. The third-years would move onto graduation and towards their future careers. I still had another year. I couldn't hold onto their shirttails. Eventually, I'd have to let go.

I hadn't noticed Hinata had gotten up and when I turned I realized Yamaguchi was sitting beside me.

"O-Oh sorry Yamaguchi," I apologized, "I.. I must've zoned out for a second there."

He smiled softly, "Thinking about what comes next huh?"

I felt my facade fall, "Y-yeah.."

"Me too," he replied, "Tsukishima and the others definitely have a lot going for them. Me.. I'm not 100% sure where I'm headed."

"Yamaguchi, you're gonna be amazing and whatever you choose, whether it be volleyball, school or anything else," I commented.

"Heh... thanks Vanji," he blushed, "Sorry if I'm being weird.. kinda hard to talk to the guys about stuff like this."

"No problem," I smiled, "I'm glad you trust me to talk to me about it.. I really.."

I paused and realized my cheeks were wet, "O-oh.. umm.."

Yamaguchi became flustered seeing me in a moment of weakness. I started to apologize to which he adamantly denied and he looked to be sure no one was looking and he quickly yanked me into a hug.

"We'll miss you. Tsuki would never admit it.. but you've become a really good friend. So I'll say it for both of us," he whispered holding me tight.

I hugged into him closer. I would truly miss the mischief they all brought and the fun memories.

Suddenly, I heard someone clear their throat. I looked up and Tsukishima stood in the aisle.

"You up for another battle Miss Manager?" Tsukishima challenged flashing his gaming console.

"Heh, more like an ass kicking for you Salty," I teased.

He scowled and grabbed Yamaguchi by the collar and dragged him to the next seat over with him. I laughed and pulled out my console and connect to the match.

After a few rounds and Yamaguchi and I tormenting Tsukishima, Hinata overheard our yelling and hurried back to join our next match. He sat beside me and laid his head in my lap. I absentmindedly tousled my fingers through his hair while using my other hand to continue navigating my character.

Hinata wasn't the best at video games but when we were teamed up in battles, I definitely noticed his trash talking got bolder.

"You better run Yamaguchi!! I've got an air strike incoming!" He snickered.

I sneakily switched my screen over to private chat and messaged Tsukishima a screenshot of Hinata's camping area.

"Down for a traitor? ;)"

"Ohhh sneaky girl ;) I've got him in sight"

I leaned over Hinata and blocked his screen.

"Hmm.. baby what is it?" he asked surprised.

I leaned down and kissed him cupping his face. I felt him deepen the kiss and we both heard the sound of the game announcing "Head shot!" and cheers from Tsukishima and Yamaguchi.

I felt Hinata jolt and turn to yell at his screen, "How did they find me?"

I giggled uncontrollably. He then realized what had occurred and gasped dramatically, "My own lover betrayed me!"

He tackled me and began tickling me relentlessly. I squealed and begged for him to stop but he refused to waver. Through my punishment, I watched his face. I memorized the wrinkle on his nose as he laughed and smiled. The light in his eyes as he finally acknowledged my pleas for mercy and leaned in for another kiss.

"Oh get a room you two!" Tsukishima called.

Hinata rolled his eyes as he pulled me close and gathered his quilt to lay over us and moved to be laying in my lap again. I returned to playing with his locks and calmly sighed.

If these moments would be ending, I wanted to be sure to absorb as many as possible in the time I had left. I listened to the lull of the sound of the bus and Hinata's now, light snoring. I kissed the top of his head, closed my eyes and began to drift.
