Trooper Release and Acquisition Form, designation "Redemption Company".
Report by Clone Sergeant CT-8867 "Dokker"
Regarding transcription 0004721, this form is a follow-up to to Doc 1773: request for trooper transfer from penitentiary to active service within a shock combat company. Below is the list of men I want with my reasons included.
CT-5308 "Tango" - A scout trooper who formerly served in General Krell's legion, who survived a sudden ambush that left him the sole survivor of his squad. Krell imprisoned him on charges of 'gross negligence' and had him courtmartialed for 'belligerence and incompetence while on active duty'. He didn't exactly walk away in one piece, though, as he lost an eye and had to have it replaced. This act of injustice can be rectified and when I spoke with him, he's ready and willing to serve.
CT-9001 "Hellcat" - Doesn't take too kindly to superiors, either Jedi or Clone. Courtmartialed for gross insubordination on three accounts, took out several commanding officers with his fists alone. I heard the third sergeant who tried to corral him is missing some teeth. I managed to win his respect during a barfight, so now he works with me... begrudgingly might I add.
CT-7421 "Edge" - Rumor has it he followed through an order from Krell to massacre a Separatist-aligned settlement. Another Clone ratted him out to a different superior and Edge was courtmartialed and sent to prison, Krell offering him no support. The experience seems to have rattled him. He swore to never use a blaster again and always has this constant, distant look in his eyes. He's real tense, jumpy you could say. Catch him at a bad time and he'll jump right out of his skin. He's good with knives, though, loves his vibroblades. The best when it comes to close-quarters combat.
CT-4562 "Packit" - He's a scrounger, plain and simple. Sent to prison by Krell for being in possession of 'stolen military property' on more than one account. He may be the reason why so many Clones have 'gentlemen's literature' and other forbidden items stashed in their lockers. Definitely a man who can adapt and overcome, an improviser when you need him most.
CT-4120 "Madcap" - Too many close calls with high-impact shells rattled his brain to a point where he's been deemed 'unhinged' by half a dozen medics. No one says he's fit for duty, but I ran him through a simulation and he scored higher than the 'sane' pilots. I suppose that sometimes crazy works, and his fearless nature is just what I need to get this company in and out of active zones.
My record may be known already, but I'll throw it in for good measure. I've served in three different companies under the late General Krell, all of us were ordered into forward assaults under heavy enemy fire. I was the lone survivor of all three. Krell had me transferred out... guess he didn't like how I 'refused to die'. That's when high command asked me to do a job behind enemy lines. Somehow, it got into my head that there must be other Clones who survived Krell's command, either after being courtmartialed or some other unfair turn of events. They deserve a chance to be redeemed, to do what we're made to do. Most of these men share similar experiences to my own, and I suppose there's a sense of comradery in that.
I ask for their authorized release to my command and take full responsibility for their future actions.
