Today was the day. Graduation day. I had gone over to Yachi's to help her get ready before the boys got there to pick us up. Between the tears Yachi and I had shared and the stabbing pain in my heart knowing what was coming the day after tomorrow, I had never cried so much in a span of 24 hours.

But, I looked at how beautiful Yachi looked and, when the guys arrived, how handsome they looked in their white button up shirts and ties. I couldn't hide my beaming smile. Everyone was jokingly teasing one another on their appearances. Noting how well each of us cleaned up. Hell.. even Kageyama couldn't stop grinning.

They looked so happy. I couldn't blame them. This was the next step on their biggest adventure yet. I was going to miss each of them so much. I simply watched as they got their dress coats on, holding back what little tears I had leftover. I felt a gentle tap on my shoulder. Hinata stood holding out a black tie, blushing up a storm.

"Um... babe.. would you-?" he pouted embarrassingly.

"Of course," I smiled.

I took the tie into my hands and stood behind Hinata, carefully tying the fabric around his neck. After I was finished, we both gazed into the mirror in front of us. He looked so grown up in comparison to his usual attire.

I giggled, "You look so handsome. You should wear a suit more often."

He huffed, "Oh? I feel like I'm in a monkey suit, I'd much rather be in my uniform."

I kissed his cheek, "Of course you would."

He stuck out his tongue and playfully poked my cheek.

"Ready?" he asked cautiously, knowing how anxious I'd been for this day.

"Not at all," I whispered.

The airport was bustling with the sound of crowded conversations and rolling suitcases. I knew I had a death grip on Hinata's hand. He chuckled at my clinginess and kissed my knuckles reassuringly.

Since he and the others graduated, time felt like it had practically disappeared. I barely had any time to say goodbye to everyone. Yachi had left 2 days after the ceremonies to move into her new apartment building to begin her summer internship. Kageyama had flown out last week to attend the team entrance physical exams. Tsukishima and Yamaguchi had both begun packing their things, however, they didn't leave for a few weeks but had been too busy planning to meet up.

Hinata's flight departed at 10:30 am. It was 9:45 am. We both knew it wasn't the best idea to arrive so early even considering check ins. The extra time gave us both time to reminisce. I had worn one of Hinata's volleyball T-shirts and of course the bracelet he'd given me never left my wrist. I fidgeted with the charms nervously as Hinata checked in with the gate attendant.

I had so far held back my emotions. But, as we sat together waiting, I felt the waves come crashing down. He would be leaving soon. Of course we'd both discussed video chats and phone calls, but, nothing we could come up with could ease the uncertainty. Hinata constantly held me close, whispering words of encouragement.

Hinata kissed my forehead, "Baby, I've gotta get ready to board."

I sniffled, "O-okay.."

We both stood. My legs shook beneath me. Why is this happening? I trembled underneath the weight of my heartbreak. As though he could sense my overwhelming aura, Hinata yanked me into his arms and I felt his breath hitch and his embrace tighten.

"I love you... I love you so much.." he whispered.

Hearing those words, I began to sob and grip onto him tighter. He buried his face into my shoulder and his tears soaked my sleeve.

"I love you... always.." I managed to choke out as I fidgeted with my wrist and carefully clipped my bracelet to him.

He gasped and looked to his wrist, "V-Vanji.."

I smiled through my tears, "You keep it. That way I'm with you.. always."

It was then, I saw the look in his eyes change. We both knew.. he needed to spread his wings. And I still had a lot to learn before I could soar alongside him.

Before he could speak, the intercom sounded the last call for his flight.

I smiled as brightly as I could, "Don't want you to miss your flight. Text me when you land.. and see you later, Shoyo."

His eyes shone full of tears, "See.. you later, Vanji..."

He turned and entered the gates. It felt as though my entire world had eclipsed.
