So, what happened during the time skip?
When the Doctor had finally stopped staring at them, at everything her carelessness and breaking of the Time Lord's code had wrought, Yasmin was the only onlooker. The static field between her and the Doctor had come down, and she ran towards her, throwing her arms around the woman.
The Doctor was alone, except for her. The Master had disappeared.
They had put their arms around each other as they left, settling into the comfort. They deserved that much; they deserve each other.
And she deserved to know what was being done for her.
That's why I had to do this, to tell her. She had to know. It's the only way.
Her Master knew she deserved to know.
And besides, it's not like she would have her for much longer, anyway. They may as well be honest with each other for the time they had left- This may be the last time she would have a true moment of comfort with Yasmin Khan.
Okay, I'll admit it, I may be cackling at my own genius. The Master as the narrator for this chapter? Bet you didn't see that coming. Or maybe you did, in that case, I guess you know me well.
Hope you liked it! Farewell for now, gentle reader.
