Uncle's Steve's disappearance was all over the news. Camera crews and newspaper reporters were coming to the Oliver's house to get news on the recent event. All of them were wanting to know how Tommy and Kimberly escaped from the airplane. So, for the next several days Tommy, Kimberly, James, and Jan were all getting interviewed.

"Is it true that you saw Lord Zedd?" asked a newspaper reporter. "Did he really capture your uncle?"

"Yes," Kimberly answered. "Zedd just waved his wand and he vanished."

"How did you get out of the plane?" questioned one of the camera crew. "Is it true the power rangers saved you?"

"Yes, the power rangers saved us," Tommy lied. "They just-"

"-did they reveal themselves to you?" interrupted a newspaper reporter.

"No," Tommy answered. "They just teleported into the plane, and they got us out."

It was finally Christmas season, and all the rangers were helping decorate the youth center. A large Christmas tree sat in the corner of the room. And children were making ornaments to put on the tree. Tanya, Katherine, and Kimberly were putting new Christmas table clothes on all the tables. Tommy sat at a table with Rocky, Adam, and Billy. All of them were drinking a cup a of hot chocolate.

"I want to get Kimberly the perfect gift," Tommy whispered. "I asked Kimberly if there was anything that she wanted and she said no. She said she was only glad to be back in Angel Grove with me."

"I'm sure that you will find something that she will like," Adam stated as Ernie walked into the room carrying plate of chocolate chip cookies.

"I don't want to get her just anything," Tommy explained as he picked up a cookie. "She's my best friend and I love her. I want to get her something really special."

"Tommy, I just got the Angel Grove Mall Christmas Catalogue in the mail," Ernie said as he handed Tommy the catalogue. "You are more than welcome tat it."

"I'd love that," Tommy smiled taking a bite into his cookie. "What would you recommend?"

"You can never go wrong with jewelry," Ernie answered.

Why hadn't he thought of jewelry? Any type of gem, ruby, sapphire, emerald, diamond, or pearl always looked beautiful on Kimberly. The light always reflected her beautiful soul. He turned to the jewelry section and the first thing that caught his eye was the forever us collection. One stone represented the woman who a man loved and the other represented the woman who was his best friend. It was prefect because Kimberly was both. He glanced down at the price, and it was expensive, which was $6,000.

He turned the page to look at some of the other rings. His eyes landed on a sliver ring with a pink heart shaped gem. It was prefect. She was the heart of the team, and she was the only girl that he his heart would belong to. And he could afford this one.

"Tommy," Kimberly called out as she walked over to him. Tommy quickly closed the catalogue and gave it back to Ernie. "Your mom just called and told me that there is a new bakery in the mall. She asked me to pick up some items for her. Would you like to come with me?"

"Sure, I'd love to," Tommy replied as he took a sip of his hot chocolate. "I am needing to go pick up something at the jewelry store."

The jewelry store was crowded with tons of customers. Some of them were picking up jewelry that they ordered online. And others were standing in the extensive line waiting to have a sells clerk wait on them. Finally, after a twenty-minute wait, Tommy reached the front counter. And they still had the engagement ring that he had his heart sat on for Kimberly. It was even more beautiful in person than it was in the catalogue. After paying the salesperson, he put the box in his pocket and went to go meet Kimberly at the bakery.

Kimberly was in the bakery with a loaf of holiday bread, fruit cake, and a pumpkin pie, that she was picking up for Jan. Tommy walked in and saw that fresh chocolate chip cookies and hot chocolate was being served. He walked over to the counter and purchased to cups of hot chocolate and a bag of cookies.

"Hey, Kim are you ready for the holidays?" Tommy asked as they got into her car. "I am so excited to be having you spend Christmas with my family."

"I really haven't thought much about Christmas yet," she answered as they pulled off the parking lot. "A lot has happened in the last few months."

"Why don't we go somewhere and talk about it," Tommy suggested. "We could go to the place where we first kissed."

"Sure, I would like that," Kimberly smiled weakly.
