When they were growing up, the Weasley children were used to their mothers exquisite cooking but the feast at Hogwarts was the best they'd seen.

"That feast was amazing." Bella sighed.

"Get used to lavish cooking little sis." Fred commented, nudging her shoulder with his elbow.

"This will be your grub for the next 7 years." George added.

"I could get used to this." Bella laughed.

"Here we go." Fred snickered as Percy got to his feet and beckoned for all of the first years.

"Save us." Ron groaned to Fred and George who laughed with evil grins on their faces.

"Gryffindors, follow me please. Keep up. Thank you." Percy called over his shoulder.

"Percy, for the sake of all of the people who are smaller than you, could you maybe, I dunno, slow down" Bella yelled as she struggled to keep up with his long strides.

"You're just going to have to keep up Bella!" He yelled back.

"Now this is the most direct path to the dormitories. Oh, and keep an eye on the staircases, they like to change. Keep up, please, and follow me. Quickly now, come on. Come on."

"Stairs that move?" Bella sighed, exasperated.

"Seems like it." Emily laughed.

"Come on Bella, we'll get lost." Freya tugged on Bella's sleeve, pulling her along the corridor.

"Can't go on." Bella gasped dramatically. She flopped onto the floor with as much flair as an amateur actress. "Go on without me!" She clutched her chest as she spoke.

"Blimey Bella, do you have to be such a drama queen?" Ron asked as he scooped her off the ground and hoisted her onto his back.

"Thank you Ronniekins." Bella laughed.

"I'll drop you." He growled.

Bella immediately shut her mouth. She knew that if he wanted to, Ron would drop her in the middle of the corridor and she didn't think she could face that humiliation.

"Seamus, look, that picutre's moving!" Neville Longbottom called cheerily.

"Look at that one Harry!" Ron beamed, pointing to a picture of a beautiful young woman.

"I think she fancies you." Harry laughed as Ron stammered.

"Ooo, ickle Ronniekins has an admirer." Fred and George stopped behind their siblings with big grins on their faces.

"I love her dress!" Freya gushed, looking longingly at the sweeping floor-length purple dress worn by one of the women in the painting just above their heads.

Realising Percy was more than a few paces in front of them they followed quickly up the flight of stairs they stood on and caught up to Percy standing in front of a painting of a large older woman wearing a frilly pink dress.

"Password?" The woman asked.

"Caput Draconis." Percy said slowly. The woman in the painting nodded and the portrait swung open to reveal a hole in the wall. "Follow me, everyone. Keep up, quickly, come on."

Bella jumped down from Ron's back and followed after the Gryffindors with her jaw hanging low.

"Wow." She whispered as Ron let out a low whistle.

"Gather 'round here. Welcome to the Gryffindor Common Room. Boys' dormitories, upstairs and down to your left. Girls, the same on your right. You'll find that your belongings have already been brought up."

"Thanks Perce." Bella said, slapping him on the arm. He rolled his eyes and stalked off in the direction of the dormitories.

"What's his problem?" Bella asked.

"He's a pompous ass?" Fred replied.

"His head's stuck up his ass?" George added.

"Or both." Ron said.

"I think I'm going to go to bed." Bella said through a yawn as she rubbed her tired eyes.

"Me too." Chimed Freya and Emily.

Bella pulled Ron into a hug before she set off up the stairs.

"Goodnight boys." Bella called over her shoulder as she disappeared around the corner.

There were six beds in their dormitory. The girl from the train, Hermione, was already unpacking her bags and the other two inhabitants of the room didn't say a word as Bella, Freya and Emily entered their room.

"It's great to be at Hogwarts, isn't it?" Hermione sighed.

"Definitely." Emily smiled.

"How did you enjoy the feast?" Bella asked.

"It was splendid, wouldn't you agree?" Hermione replied.

"I would, I would even go as far as to say it's better than my mother's cooking but don't ever tell her I said that." Bella laughed.

"So, I guess Ron's your twin?" Freya asked.

"Yeah." Bella smiled.

"And those other two tall boys are your brothers as well?" Emily asked.

"Fred and George? Yeah."

"How many siblings do you have?" Hermione asked curiously.

"Seven siblings. Six brothers and a sister." Bella replied.

"Wow." Hermione breathed.

"I've only got one brother and he annoys me so much." Freya laughed.

"I don't know how you manage with so many siblings." Emily said. "I've only got a brother and a sister and I'm glad to be here for some peace and quiet."

"Do you have any siblings?" Bella asked Hermione.

"No, I'm an only child." She replied softly.

"Well you've just found yourself three sisters." Bella smiled and Hermione's face split into a wide grin.

The four of them pulled on their pajamas and burrowed under the luxurious blankets of the four-poster bed they would sleep in for the next seven years. Within a few minutes, soft snores rang out around the room as they all fell into a much needed sleep.
