After taming her family and directing them to the living room, Rita and Lynn start explaining to the kids what Lucy is suffering from. She stood behind her parents the whole time, paranoid by their behavior from the first minute of her returning home, still trying to take in how many siblings she has.

Those people on my phone contacts... they weren't my friends, they're my sisters! No wonder they tried warning me, they're freakin' scary!

As the adults continued explaining all the events that have transpired thus far for Lucy, the faces of all their kids slowly went from excited, to shocked, to just sad. Some keep stealing glances as Lucy, as if asking her if all they're saying is true. Lucy says nothing in response, only stares back, more than enough of an indicator for the family. Some were upset, others were confused, but one Loud in particular couldn't stop crying. As much as she tried to hide her feelings, she couldn't stop herself from expressing her grief over the loss of her little sister.

"Kids... you got any questions? We know this is a lot to process right now, but you needed to know what she's going through right now so you don't overwhelm her."

A stunned silence fills the room, no one how to respond to any of this, until Lola speaks up.

"H-how do we know she's just not lying?! I-I mean, she's probably trying to get more time away from school!"

Rita retorted.

"The doctors did several tests and certified that she isn't lying... Lucy has... done things that she's never done before since she's woken up."

"Lucy was... giggling the other day."

Lynn Sr said solemnly, causing an intense gasp from everyone else.

"W-what are we supposed t-to do dude?! How do we make her remember herself, w-what if she changes completely!?"

Luna spoke up, her voice starting to break.

"I-I don't wanna lose big sis Lucy!"

Lily could barely handle what was happening, as she digs her head into Lincolns chest for comfort as tears started pouring down her face.

"W-what about her poems?! Surely they would jog her memories, right? T-They're her own words, it has to do something..."

Luan reasoned.

"We gave her her book back but she hasn't read it yet..."

Lucy nodded.

It would be nice to know myself better as soon as possible, but these past few days have been too tiring, and all this yelling and high emotions are draining me. Too many people are here.

Rita turns around and crouches in front of Lucy.

"Lucy... would you like to say something?"

Me? What would I have to say to any of them, 'Why did you all almost kill me?', I don't want to talk to anyone right now.

Lucy looks down at the floor, her voice no louder than a whisper

"I want to go to my room, please."

Rita sighs and starts leading Lucy up the stairs to her room, before a disgruntled voice spoke up.

"You're just gonna run away from your problems, like you always do."

Lucy looks up, to meet eyes with a very upset Lynn, her arms crossed.

"What?"

Lynn hops off the couch, walking slowly towards Lucy.

W-what is she doing?! I thought she missed me the most!

"All you do is run away whenever your faced with anything that upsets you. All you have EVER done is hide away, even when we try to help you-"

Lucy grabs onto Rita's leg, starting to get scared.

"Lynn, stop you're upsetting her!"

"Well she's upsetting me! All she's been doing this whole time is upset me! I want my little sister back, and she just wants to run and hide from me?! H-How is that fair, I want to spend time with her! S-She's not t-the only o-one that's suffering!"

Lynn's voice started breaking before she could finish her sentence.

"Lynn, you gotta calm down... this is hard for all of us, but we can work together to-"

Lincoln got up off the couch and placed a hand on Lynn's shoulder, which she smacks away, pushing him out of anger.

"Shut the hell up Lincoln! This isn't some problem we can fix with one of your stupid plans!"

Lincoln flinches at her lashing out at him, causing Lori to stand up in anger.

"Hey, don't talk to Lincoln that way! He's just trying to help out!"

Lynn scoffs at her.

"Oh yea, like you would know what helping any of us is like, Lori! I'm surprised you stopped suckin' Bobby's face enough to drive all the way down here for her."

Lori looks even more pissed, and is about to retaliate but is cut off by Lynn senior before she gets the chance to.

"Lynn Jr, your behavior is unacceptable! Apologize to your siblings, now!"

Lynn looks over at her father, tears spilling out of her eyes, undeterred by everyone's pleas for her to calm down.

"No."

Lynn turns away from her family and walks to the front door.

"I don't want to be around anyone right now... I'm going out for a while."

She opens it and is about to step out, but she gets interrupted by an annoyed Rita.

"Lynn Jr you get back here this instant!"

Lynn says nothing in response and just walks out the front door, slamming it shut. The family sits in silence briefly, before everyone slowly starts disbanding to do their own things, except for Leni, who still has a question on her mind.

That was really dramatic, I wonder what got her so worked up.

"Wait, if Lucy doesn't remember anything, how does she know how to speak?"

Everyone around her sighs.

"That's not how it works, dude."

Rita walks with Lucy up the staircase, annoyed by Lynn acting out. When they reach the top of the stairs, Lucy speaks up.

"Which one is my room?"

Rita walks 5 steps ahead of Lucy, opening the door right in front of them.

"This one right here dear, remember that you and Lynn share this room, so only half of the stuff in here is yours."
Rita darts her eyes across the room, taking in the drastic personality differences between her daughters.

"I don't think you should have any issues figuring out what stuff is yours..."

I have to ask her.

"Rita...I mean, Mom. Why did Lynn have an outburst?"
Rita took a deep breath, and let out a deep sigh.

"You probably can't remember it, but she's always been really sensitive when it comes to you. Not in a bad way, more in an overprotective way... she cried for a week when you were admitted to the hospital, I think she's just going through a lot right now. She doesn't mean anything against you... she's just not good at expressing her emotions."

I guess that makes some sense, it would explain why she texted me every day and was excited for my return, but why would she be mad at me? I must've done something before I got hit that got her so worked up.

"She was really excited when I texted her telling her I was coming home, well... I think so. She texted me immediately after I sent that message, but I don't know what she said."

"Well, maybe you should read it Lucy, she could've said something about her being upset from before you went to the hospital."

"I guess..."

"Well, I'll leave you alone for now, I'm sure you have a lot of adjusting to do. Don't worry about showing up for dinner, I'll just bring your food up for you but only for a day or two. I could tell how much your siblings scared you."

"Thank you."

As Rita walked away, Lucy limped into her shared bedroom, taking in the 'new' environment. She looks at the dresser in the middle of the room, and sees a framed picture of herself and... Lynn. The two of them are standing shoulder to shoulder, Lucy with a big grin, and Lynn with a huge toothy smile. She's missing one of her teeth. Lucy took a glance around again, looking at the differences between the two sides.

She was right, it is easy to tell what's mine and what's not. This picture suggests that we had a good relationship.

Lucy looks over at her poetry book, picking it up and opening it.

Let's see if there's anything about Lynn in here... She keeps giving me the impression she cares about me a lot, but did I ever reciprocate those feelings to her? Hm... Judging by these, probably not... This one isn't even my hand writing.

"Pop-Pop"

Sounds familiar... Might be another relative... But why would someone else write in my book? It's signed 'Lola'. I'll ask about it later.

Lucy kept reading and flipping through the pages, trying hard to find anything about Lynn, but to no avail.

I don't get it... How am I supposed to believe we're close if I haven't written anything about her? There's a piece that I'm missing here, me and Lynn really gotta talk. That reminds me, I need to read her texts.

'Hell yea! I'm so excited for you to return, we need to hang out again!'
'I still gotta make up for what happened'

- Lynn 6 hours ago

So something did happen between us... the way she's talking, it was probably her fault. I don't think I could be mad at her right now, she seems to have been affected the most by what happened. Plus I don't even remember what it was, so I can just forgive her for now.

'I'm sorry for upsetting you. I would like to talk later.'

- Lucy Just Now

Hm... I was expecting her to respond right away but she hasn't, this Amnesia thing might be hitting her harder than I thought. I'll just look around, maybe some stuff in here can remind me of myself.

Lucy looks around the room, trying to find something to remember. She looks over to Lynn's side and notices something sticking out to her immediately.

What the hell is that thing...

Lucy walks over and grabs what appears to be a bust of a vampire.

Was Lynn sleeping with this thing? It's horrendously ugly... his name is... Edwin? I feel like I should have some attachment to this, considering all those things in my book, but I don't. Maybe I should just throw it out.

Lucy grabs the ugly statue, and tosses it out the window.

Even if it mattered to me before, it doesn't anymore, I don't want to deal with those weird thought about it... Even if I was just a kid, why would I roleplay marrying it? Ugh... My head hurts again. I should just lie down...

About an hour passes as Lucy sat alone in her dimly lit bedroom, only the light from the hallway illuminating it, and noises from around the house filling the silence, before a certain someone stands in her doorway.

"Knock knock? Lucy, can I come in?"

She has a gentle voice... might be uhm... Leni?

Lucy walks over to the door and opens it, revealing Leni on the other side. Leni is holding a long length of measuring tape.

"Hey Luce, I know we're kinda like strangers now, but can I take your measurements? I wanted to replace the clothes you lost."

"I didn't lose any clothes, they're all in my bag. I can't put them on because of my casts."
Leni looks astonished by this revelation.

"Ohhh! That totes makes sense then!"
Lucy sighs, and goes back to sit on her bed, lying down and staring at the ceiling. Leni looks around, a bit confused.

"Lucy, where's that statue thing you like?"

"I thought it looked ugly, so I threw it away."
Lucy pointed at the open window, which caused Leni to gasp and drop her measuring tape. She quickly runs downstairs and comes back with the Edwin bust in hand.

"Lucy! You can't throw this out, this is, like, a huge part of you! You've had it for years!"

"Its a huge part of who I was, not who I am now. I don't automatically like everything I own just because it used to be part of my life, I have no feelings towards getting rid of it."
Leni invited herself in, sitting down next to Lucy.

"But I thought it was important to get your memories back? Why would you try to get rid of the things that would bring them back?"

"I don't expect you to understand, but I'm starting to feel like this is a second chance to reinvent myself. The things I wrote in this book... they're just so... depressing. I don't want to go back to being some sad kid who can barely fend for herself, I want to be stronger than that.

"But you weren't sad, you were the happiest spooky girl I knew! I can remember so many times where we smiled, and had a good time together, as a family... I remember the first time you asked me and Lori to watch Vampires of Melancholia with you... you looked so sad like we weren't willing to spend time with you, and you had the cutest little smile when we agreed! Over the years, I've learned to pick up on your... darker moments, but you never came across as depressed, or even weak, to me, you're just different... and that's okay."

Leni gives Lucy a reassuring smile, which makes Lucy second guess how she's approaching this situation.

Getting rid of my past won't help me avoid turning back into who I was, or at least, who I think I was... what was I thinking, I can't run from something I don't know about. Lynn was right, I'm too quick to jump ship and run away...

"You're right, maybe I am assuming too much about myself, rather than asking the people who knew me... but I still don't want it. What you said may be true, but I still believe a truer version of myself is in this book, and I want to get rid of the sadness that used to be in my life, even if it means getting rid of things that I used to love."

Leni frowns.

"I don't get your reasoning, but alright... I'm gonna hold onto this though, just incase you ever change your mind..."

Leni hops off Lucy's bed, walking towards the entrance of the room.

"Wait, Leni."

"Yea Lucy?"

Lucy hesitates briefly.

"Uhm, c-can you... take my measurements anyways...? I would like to try new clothing... this whole 'all black' thing hasn't been appealing to me since I woke up."

Leni's face lights up, her excitement catches Lucy off guard.

"Eeeee! Of course! I totes know the stuff that would work wonders for you, and don't worry, it won't be pink!"

Maybe I can use this as a chance to know her better, and hopefully she can tell me more about myself. Wait, what about pink?

"What's wrong with pink?"

"Oh, well the last time you wore pink... well, lets just say it really didn't work for you, we even dyed your hair blonde."

That doesn't sound good, I actually kinda like my black hair.

"Anyways, I'll be right back, lemme grab some stuff from my room and we can get a new wardrobe for you!"
