"Wait so... I would just sit in my room, or the vents, and just... Write stuff in my book?"

Leni nodded her head. She had gone to her own bedroom and picked out some tools and machines that she has been using to modify Lucy's clothing, to her request. Lucy had been sitting on her bed, back against the headboard, while Leni sat at the foot of the bed with needles poking out of her mouth for use in her endeavors.

"Mhm, you really liked being alone, sometimes mom and dad would have to like, force you out of your room, not in a meanie way or anything, just like pleading."

Leni yanks at the sleeve she's currently stitching on Lucy's bed, trying to add a small amount of flair to it. She's using purple colored string and has been working all around the sleeve.

There has to be a reason why 'Lola' signed her name in my book... It doesn't make any sense, it looks nothing like my hand writing, but Leni insists I was so protective over it. Maybe she just doesn't know, and I should find Lola and ask her directly, but I have no clue who it could be... They have to be a close friend or something.

"And I wouldn't let anyone touch my book?"

Leni nodded again, squinting her eyes to focus on her work, nearly finishing. She had been working on most of Lucy's wardrobe, more than anything adding purple highlights to it all and little designs. Sure, it was complicated for her to do, but she really wanted to change Lucy's clothing for a while, so she's willing to take some of the blisters and hand cramps that come with it.

"You were really secretive with your book, I don't think I've ever seen you give it to someone willingly, and got really upset whenever one of us broke it. Dad thought you would appreciate if we left the book with you in the medical room, but I don't know if you did?"

Leni phrased that as a question... but I think she already knows the answer to it. I didn't.

"And... done! Here, what do you think about this? I think it'll look totes adorbs on you."

Leni presents the sleeve to Lucy, which she grabbed and tried on. Its a very warm and snug, something that Lucy was grateful for. Examining it, its much the same as it always has been, but it now has purple trims around the edges of it, and two thin purple streaks going up the length of the sleeves in a crisscross pattern.

Not bad, definitely not what I was expecting her to make, but I wouldn't mind wearing this.

"I think its cute, I like what you've been doing with the purples on everything. Adds a little bit of color to everything."

Lucy gave Leni a soft smile, which made Leni very happy. She nearly jumped off the bed in glee, she's been wanting to fix Lucy's fashion sense for a long time, and not only does she have the chance to, Lucy of all people approved of her changes! It's like a dream come true!

"Yes! I'm so glad you like it, I'll get to work on making another one for you!"

She's nice... she really seems to care about doing this clothing stuff, maybe she works in the fashion industry? I'll ask her about it later, but I need to know who this Lola girl is...

"About what you said before, about people not touching my book... do you know who Lola is?"

Leni looked at Lucy, completely dumbfounded. How could she forget one of her sisters?

"Our little sister, duh... Oh wait, you don't remember her, right?"

Lucy silently nods her head, making Leni feel awkward for phrasing it like Lucy was dumb for not knowing.

"Well, she's the one in the pink dress, blonde hair and princess tiara. I don't know why but she's like super into pageantry and stuff, and has been wearing pink dresses pretty much ever since she was like, 5."

"She seems like a big brat, doesn't she?"

Leni froze.

"Uhhhmmm- n-no? Don't b-be silly! Lola is a complete sweetheart!"

While she believed only half of what she said, Leni spoke nervously, afraid of Lola overhearing their conversation, which caused Lucy confusion. Leni looked back at the door entrance and silently nodded her head, confirming Lucy's question. She didn't dislike Lola or anything, but she was certainly afraid of her. As soon as Lola realized Leni could make all the clothes she could ever need for her pageants, she would hound her constantly for new and exciting dresses to show off. It was fun at first, but after a while she became more and more demanding, but she wouldn't say that to her face!

"Uuhhh, w-what about other siblings? Do you remember any other names you wanna ask about?"

Leni put on a nervous smile, making Lucy question if she should push on.

What am I thinking, I need answers... I hope nothing bad will happen to her if I get her to spill about Lola.

"No, I wanna talk about Lola more..."

Lucy shook her head, and grabbed her book. She opened it to a specific page and presented it to Leni, causing the pins in her mouth to fall out in shock.

"We're me and Lola ever close? If what you're saying is true, then she shouldn't have written in here."

Leni had a completely confused look plastered across her face.

'Lucy let someone write in her book?!' was all Leni could think, Lola would've absolutely bragged about this if she did! But its right there, right in front of her face... what happened between those two that let Lucy feel comfortable enough to write in her prized, precious, and protected poem book? Leni was lost in thought, pondering on what could've transpired, but it was interrupted when she heard the door creak open, revealing their Mother holding a dinner plate full of food.

"Hey Lucy, dinner is..."

Rita is shocked to see Lucy spending time with one of her estranged sisters, didn't she say she wanted to be alone?

"Oh hey, Leni?"

Leni lit up and smiled at her mom, she's always happy to see her.

"Hey mom! What you got there? Is that for me and Lucy?"

Rita chuckled at her daughters question. Rita never liked to label Leni as dumb, but her innocence was really cute to her, no matter how old she got.

"No sweetheart, this is just for Lucy. I don't think she's comfortable being around the whole family after what happened downstairs, so she'll be eating up here for a couple of days."

"Ohhh! That totes makes sense. We were like... really scary right?"

Lucy nodded her head.

I didn't need to ask her to let me eat alone, she assumed automatically that its what I wanted... and to be honest, it is. They're exhausting. They all seem so hyperactive and extra, something tells me I was the only one that was calm. She has good instinct, or knows me really well.

"So... you two have been spending time together? How are you feeling Lucy, you remembering anything?"

Lucy nods yes. What she has remembered isn't anything substantial but it helps her get more comfortable around Leni, she's not a complete stranger to Lucy anymore. She's not like a sister to her just yet, she's more like an acquaintance/

"Just a couple things, but none relating to her. She feels familiar to me but that's about it, but she at least answers my questions."

"Lucy is totes different mom, like, she keeps saying she can't recognize anything from her past."

"Only a couple things."

This made Rita frown... she's open to Lucy wanting to change herself a little bit, but she doesn't want to completely lose her daughter.

"And she wants me to change her clothing! Which I'm like, totally willing to do for my little sis, plus I wanted to do this for a while!"

Leni holds up the modified clothes and presents it to their mother, very proud of her work. Rita can't help but smile at how happy Leni looked... just 30 minutes ago she was crying about 'Lucy dying', which was completely wrong, but now she's so happy to just change her clothing a bit...

"Look at this! Isn't it cute?"

Rita nods her head.

"It looks good Leni, you've always done a good job making clothing look nicer... But... Uhhh, why don't you come join us downstairs and let Lucy eat alone?"

Leni got off Lucy's bed, and began her exit, leaving all her fashion tools around the room. She turns around briefly, intending on saying one last thing to Lucy before she leaves.

"We can continue tomorrow, 'kay Luce?"

Lucy nodded her head in response, causing a little smile to grow on Rita's face. It's been so long since Lucy's been in the house but Leni is so comfortable around her, and Lucy to her. It was sweet. Rita walked over to Lucy's writing desk and placed her dinner plate down on the surface.

"Hope your hungry, your dad made the beloved, family favorite..."

Rita presented the plate of food to Lucy in a dramatic fashion, holding it a foot away from her face, and keeping it there just long enough for Lucy to get a smell.

"'Lynnsagna'!"

Lynnsagna... that's a silly name. Haha...

Lucy giggled, causing a small look of discomfort on Rita's face... Seeing her gloomiest daughter giggle like a little girl was so unusual for her, almost unsettling.

"Try to not make a mess, okay Lucy? Just call me when you're finished."

"Okay mom."

As Rita exits to take her place back downstairs at the dinner table, Lucy got off her bed and walked her to her desk, sitting down and preparing herself to eat. It's been a long time since she's eaten actual food... The only thing she remembers eating was hospital food, and that stuff stunk. She's been starving for something good to eat and really wants this Lynnsagna to hit that spot.

Hopefully Lynn knows how to cook some good food... It smells really good, and kinda making my mouth water. I should just dive right into it, I don't have the patience to think this over-

Lucy grabbed the fork Rita left behind for her and started cutting a piece of the Lasagna, raising it to her mouth and taking one more sniff before eating it.

It tastes... pretty good. I guess it is lasagna after all, don't know what I was expecting. Not too bad Lynn, guess you can do more than cry excessively.

Lucy eats at a steady pace, enjoying the first real food she's eaten in so long, only to slow down when a new thought pops into her head.

Then again, he does own a restaurant so it makes sense for him to be... good at... cooking?

Lucy drops her fork, raising her hands up to hold her head.

Augh... M-my head! W-why does it hurt so much?! D-dad... his restaurant it- it got shut down because of m-me! H-he got so mad b-but someone stepped in and said it was their fault! A-and he believed them! Augh! W-what the h-hell!?

Why would someone do that for me?!

Lucy was in her room's closet, surrounded by her and her sister's clothing, crying to herself for what she had just did. For Halloween, Lucy wanted to host a gothic themed event at Lynn's Table, and she invited all her gothic friends to join. She went all out for the theming, excessively making sure everything was black, candle lit, or just generally spooky. Unfortunately for her, she chose a horrible day to do this, the day a health inspector came by the restaurant for a routine checkup... and also the fact that Lynn wasn't aware of her plans to make it all spooky... Lynn nearly flew out of his pants! He passed out regardless, but the health inspector was appalled, immediately calling for all the customers to stop eating and leave immediately, causing a panic that left the restaurant in an even worse condition.

According to her, "Having wild bats flying around" was a bad thing for hygienic reasons... but Lisa swore she checked them for any rabies! They all turned up negative! It didn't matter anymore... the Halloween event was a total bust, and Lynn was totally gonna let Lucy have it... as soon as the inspector deemed the restaurant too unsanitary to stay open, Lucy ran straight home, ignoring the cries of her family to come back. She rushed in through the front door, which was unlocked- another thing for Lynn to be mad about- and ran straight into her bedroom. She closed and locked the door, crawling into closet and sitting on the floor with her knees held up against her chest, crying. She sat in there, beating herself up for being so stupid, until someone came home.

Why did I do that?! That was so dumb, and it cost Dad his dream! Of course bringing animals in a place where people eat was a horrible idea, who cares if they weren't threatening?! How can I be so stupid! Sigh... I need to confess to him... maybe he won't be as punishing if I do-

"LUCY! You come down here right now, young lady!"

Oh god, that must be dad... o-or mom? W-why can't I tell? T-their voice... i-its mixing together, w-why-

Lucy's thoughts got interrupted by fierce banging on her bedroom door, making her jump and shake in fear. She was too scared to respond.

*BANG BANG BANG*

"Lucy! Open the door right now, I know you're in there!"

They're right... I am in here, b-but I can't just get up and open the door up! They're furious at me, I'm just gonna make things worse if I try to worm my way out of this...

"LUCY!"

*BANG BANG BANG*

The knocking became more and more violent, causing Lucy to curl up into a ball on the floor, crying even more.

The banging is getting louder... and louder... it's deafening! Whoever's out there wants to hurt me, there's no doubt about it! I-I need to just stay here until they leave.

5 minutes pass and the knocking has not stopped, or even slowed down. If anything, the constant banging sound is starting to drive Lucy crazy.

W-why wont it stop?! Is no one else home, n-no one's here to stop them?

"Lucy."

*BANG BANG BANG*

T-they won't stop calling me...

"Lucy."

*BANG BANG BANG*

They wont leave me alone...

"LUCY!"

*BANG BANG BANG*

W-why wont they leave?

"LUCY!"

*BANG BANG BANG*

G-go away!

"LUCY!"

*BANG BANG BANG*

"LEAVE ME ALONE!"

As soon as Lucy yelled back, the banging stopped. Silence filled the room, Lucy was finally able to think without the loud noises invading her thoughts.

Silence. All I hear... is silence. W-where did they go...?

Lucy waited in her closet for a couple minutes, trying to make sure they truly left. She stood up and opened the closet door, walking to the front door and placing her ear against it... just listening...

Where did they go? I can't hear anything out there... wait. It's so quiet... but I think I can hear two people talking...

"What do you want K̹͎̐̽x̼͓̱̩̳̳̿̇̀̄͊͡ṁ̨̧̬͔̮̺͎͌̅̽͘͡͞m̛̺̬̝̗͒͑͡?!"

"It wasn't her fault..."

"What?!"

"It wasn't Lucy's fault, K͖͕̄̉n̦̦̬̭̓̿͋͊q͖͍̲͈̯̹̊͑̄̇͛͡h̪͔͆͠! It was a prank that went wrong, Lucy had no idea it was gonna happen! She just wanted to decorate for the-"

"You honestly think I'm gonna believe that?! They were bats for crying out loud, Lucy is the only one that gives a damn about bats! Don't try to save her from this!"

"B-but-"

"No buts! You've taken the fall for her way too many times K̼̉x͙̘͙̜͋̂̚͘m̢͈͕̤̞̳͖͕͌̉̃̍͋͆̓͞m̮̹͊͊, she needs to get punished for once! If you really want to take the blame for this, you're gonna get it twice as bad this time! I promise you."

W-who are they talking to? Why can't I make out either of their names, I should know who's speaking... b-but I don't! They stopped talking...

"Please, K͈̟̀̄n͇̖͕̠͕̩̋̔͑͋͑͝q̛̜̝̭̜͈̪̃̈́̋̾̋̉ͅȟ̨̩̬̥͇̪͒͂̀̂̋͂̽͘͟͢͟... one just let me do this one more time..."

"..."

Complete silence fills the void of their talking.

"This is the last time, after this I'm not letting you do this anymore. I hope this is worth it."

Who? Who is taking the blame for me?

Lucy grabs the doorknob, and tries to open it... but she can't. It's jammed...

Why can't I open the door? Why is it jammed, w-what's going on?! The lock isn't locked, but the door refuses to open!

Lucy starts banging on the door, trying desperately to get the attention of whoever's on the other side of the door.

"I-its my fault, d-don't punish K̩̣̿͋x̧̨̣́̄̄m͍̖̖͍̣̎͆́̽͒̀͜m̭͕̌̆̋͜͞ͅ!"

W-why can't i say their name?! Who is Kx̨̛̹̻̮͕̙̆̽̌̌͡m̲̟͉͊͗̉m̹̝̭̼̅̇̋̀̌̚͢͢?

She gets no response, her banging and cries are completely ignored by the two on the other side.

"P-please open the door! D-don't punish K͓̩̽̏xm̡̙̤͔̟̒̓̐̍̀͢͞m̡̫͔͈̩̠̣̹̅͂̂͗͌̅̎̈́, please!"

"She's my k̢̛̠͉̻̃̈́̚h͖̹̦͖̝̀̔̋́̆s̬̐ş͖̼̖͙̺̒͂̄̏̄̎k̡̖̳͊̽̌͋͢d͙̝̈̒̊͢ r̤͋h̞̼̠̜̮͔̠̭̖̉̑̿̿̀͑̅̇̀͠ͅr̡̨̖̙̞͔̙̯͇̱͊̿̀̊͋̀́͘͠͞s͉̭̩̖̳̤̹̪̱̐͂͛̇͒̏̉̕͜͞͞d̡̬͍̞̘̫̠̟̤̰͗̄̀̾̌̉̾̀͝͞q̧̙̻̣̬̦̭͇̙́̇̆̋̍͐̋̈̏͟͞... I'll keep protect her, no matter what."

No!

"Fine."

Lucy started banging her fists on the door, trying desperately to get their attention, but once again she gets no response.

"Let me out! It's my fault, I don't want someone else to take the blame for me!"

The two voices slowly started getting further and further away, leaving Lucy alone to her crying and begging to be let out.

"Get in the van, we're going back."

"Let's just get this over with..."

Why won't they listen to me?! Let me out, dammit! She didn't do anything wrong, its my fault! I let the bats in, it was my stupid idea!

*BAM*

LET!

*BAM*

ME!

*BAM*

OUT!

Lucy's world started to fade around her, enveloping her in darkness. Everything around her crumbles to dust, and shes left alone in an endless void thats slowly consuming her. All she can hear is the yelling of her name from before... reverberating all around her, and getting louder and louder.

Lucy

LUCY

LUCY

"Lucy!"

Lucy awakens to a distraught Rita, standing over her, desperately trying to wake her up. Lucy had fallen out of her chair and hit her head against the floor, as evident by the stinging she feels in the back of her head... and the sides... and front. Rita's holding Lucy's shoulders, staring directly at her hidden eyes, trying to find some kind of response.

"Lucy, wake up, please!"

"I-I'm awake... W-wha-"

Rita upon hearing her daughters voice, takes her into a tight embrace, rubbing Lucy's back. Its almost a little *too* tight for Lucy...

"Oh thank god! I thought we would have to take you to the hospital again!"

"C-cant... breathe..."

"Oh gosh, I'm sorry, I just... dinner ended an hour ago, a-and i wanted to check on you since you didn't call me... w-when i opened the door and walked in I-I saw you on the floor, mumbling words and crying... Y-you wouldn't respond to anything I said a-and just... stopped..."

I-I need to confess to what happened.

"Mom, I-I'm sorry about getting Dad's restaurant shut down!"

"W-what?"

"I-It's my fault! I brought the bats in and thought it would fit the theming, a-and someone took the blame for me! I ruined dad's dream, a-and I-I'm sorry, p-please don't get mad at me!"

"Lucy, honey... Lynn's restaurant closed years ago..."

"A-and it was my fa-"

Rita put her finger up to Lucy's lips, stopping her excessive spilling of the truth.

"Lucy I'm not done. It closed years ago, but we just opened a new one last year! You didn't ruin anything, it was just a minor setback... sure, it cost a lot of money to get a new place, and Lynn was wrecked for a couple months... but he never once blamed it on L- or, well... you. I'm disappointed that your sisters covered for you again, especially something so major... but, is that what caused you to pass out? Did it all come rushing back to you at once?"

Lucy nodded her head.

"Everything started hurting while I was eating. I remembered that dad was a chef, a-and it kinda spiraled from there..."

Rita helps Lucy up to her feet.

"Do you need an icepack?"

"Y-yes please... my head hurts so much right now..."

"Ill grab some pain-killers too then, I'll be back in a moment..."

"Thank you..."

Lucy limps her way over to her bed, holding her head in her hands, still wondering what the hell she just remembered.

What a horrible experience... I still don't know who the unknown people are, but Rita's words implies it was my sisters... one of them has to be Lynn for sure... but who was the other one? Their voice was so commanding and powerful... It was just like when mom and dad were angry... but what kind of memory was that? Everything was so unfamiliar... it's like I was reliving it, rather than remembering it. Maybe that's why the voices sounded so strange to me... but even then, I said their name, and it didn't come out properly... it was distorted. I need to tell the doc about this next visit.

Rita walks back into Lucy's room, interrupting her thoughts. She's holding a cup of water and an icepack.

"Here you go dear..."

Rita hands Lucy the water, and drops a pill in her hand, raising her other hand up to her head and holding the icepack against it. Lucy flinches at first, but eases into it.

Rita has been really gentle and understanding with me... she really makes me feel like her daughter, even if I can't remember any of it.

"I'm gonna let your father know about the restaurant incident... but don't worry, I'm sure my reaction was a lot fiercer than his will be, he's already started again and he's been feeling great about it! Don't be afraid, okay?"

"I won't be... thank you."

"Of course... now take your pill and get ready for bed, alright? You get first dibs to the bathroom, so don't dilly dally, alright?"

"Alright... thanks mom, today has been really stressful."

"You think you'll need help in the shower?"

"N-no... I think I'll be alright. I don't feel comfortable being naked around another person."

"That's alright hon, just be sure to call for help if anything happens."

Lucy nods, and Rita walks out of the room, leaving her alone.

Just one is all I need... Hopefully this will make me tired too, I could really use the sleep right now. This whole day has been a messy blur... lets just get this over with so I can get to bed.

3 hours pass, and Lucy is still struggling to fall asleep.

I can't sleep... What time even is it, it feels like I've been trying for hours, but there's something that's bothering me, what the hell is this I'm feeling? I need to get some water...

Lucy grabs her crutches and walks out of her bedroom, until she reaches her first obstacle...

Stairs... my one weakness. Just gotta take it slow, and I'll be fine.

Lucy almost takes it a bit too slow, taking nearly 10 minutes to go down the stairs. When she finally reaches the bottom, she lets out a huge sigh of relief, and starts walking to the kitchen.

I'm really thirsty... I hope they have water bottles or something, I just wanna grab a bottle and go back up. Someone's in the kitchen already, the fridge light is luminating the room... wait, is that-

"Lynn...?"

Lynn nearly jumps out of shock, and slowly turns around to find her little sister. Lucy.

"Oh... Hey Lucy."

Silence fills the room, it has a very tense atmosphere... the two girls sat in the dimly lit room, they can hear the sounds of the night outside, and the quiet chatter of their sisters in their respective rooms, catching up on lost time. Everything was quiet... that is, until the both of them spoke up, asking the same question to eachother.

"Lucy, can we talk for a few minutes?"
"Lynn, can we talk for a few minutes?"

Both girls stood in silence, before letting out a shared chuckle.

"I guess you remembered some stuff?"

"I remembered enough for one day..."

"Come on, we can talk in our room."

Lynn grabs two water bottles from the fridge, and walks with Lucy upstairs into their shared bedroom.
