Your name is Maite Hirsch and you have no idea what's happening anymore. First of all, you don't recognise the scene you landed in, which means it's a movie you haven't seen, which is beyond bad news.
Second, this is... a different timeline. The original timeline, the one where Tony died on that battlefield. You can sense it. But that doesn't make a lick of sense, because you changed that when you were still in said timeline.
What is happening?!
Is... Is Amy pulling you into different parallel timelines? Why? You have no idea what's even happening here -
That is a giant water monster. "What the fuck."
Civilians are starting to scream, which is a pretty good sign from the universe to do something.
You magic on your "battle outfit", which is just a faded turquoise tunic with a leather corset and light tan fabric pants. No shoes, and your gloves are still there.
You conjure several mandala stepping stones for easier movement and get started.
Something is off with that thing. This sense is coming from your Reality Stone-given gift, which means there's some kind of illusion involved - but it's not magical, otherwise it would have dissolved already.
Holograms? But then how is it doing damage...?
Speaking of which, the damage to the surroundings is kind of starting to build up. Not good.
Suddenly, there's a voice coming from one of the soaked buildings asking if he can help.
Is... Is that Peter Parker in a cheap carnival mask? What the hell?
"Amy, did you pluck me into the first Big Incident chronologically after the Endgame?" you hiss at your Relic, which makes a hoard of very amused noises.
Of course she did.
But, wait, if your senses are telling you you're in the Original Timeline, then that means...
You created a Parallel when you saved Tony, didn't you? Son of a bitch.
Or rather, your arrival probably created a parallel where saving Tony was even possible in the first place.
Man, you are rambling a lot today. How did Tony rub off on you when you've barely met him in the first place?
Oh yeah, Peter. And the giant monster. You need to stop getting distracted.
"Some help with keeping the city intact would be appreciated! I can... probably handle this thing," you shout at the masked teen before deciding to do something crazy.
Tony would be proud.
So, without much preamble, you create several more mandala steps and throw yourself into the giant water monster.
Which is made of drones, apparently. "What the hell...?"
Drones that have guns that are now all focused on you. Oh shit.
Time for a lot more shields! Like. A lot more shields. "What is this, a fucking bullet hell - hOLY CRAP-"
That was a laser. You have no idea how the hologram monster on the outside is disguising that as part of it's repertoire, you just hope no bystanders got hurt.
There's some kind of new voice coming from outside, too, which is weird. When did another Super show up? You didn't know there were any more Supers that could show up.
Unless there's crossovers with more teams in the future, in which case you're screwed.
A small and hopefully inobtrusive sling viewing portal reveals a guy in a fishbowl attacking the hologram monster with green triangle lasers.
New guy. Awesome. You have not a single clue who this is. It appears today is one of those days you wish you read the comics. Who is that guy?
Anyway, he defeats the holographic water monster. Which is highly suspicious, to say the least, so you promptly teleport to the nearest rooftop to hide.
Peter has tried and failed to hold up a large clocktower, meanwhile whoever-the-hell is being cheered on by the civilians just before he flies off in a cloud of green. Deciding to deal with that later, you move to Peter to heal his injuries, seeing how he's definitely not entirely alright.
Contrary to yourself, thankfully.
"Hey there, kid," you greet your favorite superpowered person on the planet at this point in time.
"H-hey... Um, who are you?"
"Name's Maite. I'm from the same magic place as Doctor Strange. Do you mind if I take a look at your injuries?"
"You know Doctor Strange? - and yeah, healing would be nice."
"Sort of...? I have a Relic called the Amulet Of The Norns, she's sentient to a pretty ridiculous degree and I'm pretty sure she pulled me across timelines for a whim, because as far as I know we already met... How long ago was the battle against Thanos?"
"The battle - um. 'Bout half a year or so."
"Well you didn't get a break for long... Anyway, in my timeline, I was there, right at the end. Saved Tony's life, which is why I'm all... rainbow-y now. Guessing that didn't happen here?"
Going by the subdued look on Pete's face, it certainly has not.
"Sorry for the reminder. Um, do you know who that guy in the fishbowl was...?"
"Not a clue."
Suddenly, Amy ticks. But something feels different this time - instead of the world simply shifting from one place to another, it seems to... distort around you? Your body turns translucent as the surroundings seem to speed by you - the only constant is Peter.
It's like... fast-forwarding a movie.
Your name is Maite Hirsch and you think you're about to be far more involved with this incident than previous ones. Oh goodie.
