Modern Period of The Walking Dead Game

High School AU

Chapter 45: Love Aches

Clementine peeped at the rear mirror, checking out the back seat of her car. Behind her is her cousin, Alvin Junior, making small talks to his little friend from school. The girl known to be Principal Joan's daughter, Becca. And the strict principal gave the three teens a lecture and kept side glaring at AJ as he silently stealing quick glances at Becca.

After all that, they finally made their way to the cafe. AJ plugged in his phone on the aux to share his piano recordings to the girls. Of course, Becca found it impressive and wanted him to teach her how to play like him. The smirk on his face made Clem's brain roll in her skull. She can't believe he's flirting in front of family. With no shame.

Clem can't even spend a good minute with Louis around without blushing and dying to be alone with him. As she observed AJ body language and calmness, she grew a bit jealous.

If only she wasn't as shy to let the world know she likes Louis and they are dating but want no one to stick their nose in it so they can take things slow. She sighed, eager to see him soon and build crappy ginger bread houses with him.

As she pulled up in the parking lot, she saw the gang huddling in a circle. She looked around for dread locks, he was nowhere to be seen.

Brody and Marlon turned to smile at Clem and her youngsters. Brody gave Clem a hug and then moved to greet AJ and his friend.

"Finally ya made it!" Ruby smiled as she pulled Clem in a big huge. Clem squeezed her back.

"Yeah. I had to get someone's date." Clem whispered loudly. AJ nudged her with a plastered threatening smile.

"Shut. Up." He said through his teeth. Becca was busy introducing herself to everyone. Basically, everyone was older than the two young teens.

"Where's Tenn? I heard he was coming!" Becca asked AJ. Marlon checked his phone for a second.

"Our friend went to swoop him-Ah. There they are!" The blond pointed at the black sports car that whipped into a parking space. Violet and Tennessee came out the back doors.

Clem nearly smiled until someone unfamiliar came out the passenger seat.

Who the fu-

"Louis! You brought your girlfriend?" Omar teased. Louis dragged himself out the car and flipped his finger at Omar. Marlon fist bumped Louis when he came closer to the group. The girl with long curly black hair waved at the gang with a gorgeous smile on her pixie like face.

"She's a family friend from the music industry. Her name is-" The girl patted Louis's chest. Stopping him from talking. She smiled at them.

"I'm Stephanie. Nice to meet you all." She fluttered her fingers. Omar touched his beating heart. He kneeled on his knees to her.

"Hey gore-"

"You're so beautiful. Marry me." Willy said as he beat the juicy curl boy. Omar glared at him. Mitch pulled Willy away from her before he scares her away.

"Oh um... Thanks. Louis are your friends usually...forward?" She asked him with an arch brow. Louis shrugged.

"They're weird." His lip lifted to one side.

"C'mon guys let's head in side. It's snowing and I'm cold." Violet hugged herself. Aasim rolled his eyes as he and the rest followed.

"Shouldn't had come out with a sweater, Twig Legs." Aasim smirked. A double slap on the back of his head from Ruby and Violet dropped his smirk. He hissed as he rubbed the back of his head.

Tennessee sped up to meet AJ and Becca. Mitch dropped his cigarette, stepped on it before heading inside the warm cafe. Brody pulled Stephanie along, getting to know the girl some more.

As everyone went inside, Clem and Louis stayed at the parking lot.

He went over to where Clementine stood at. She moved her attention away from the new girl to him. He tugged her around the other side of her jeep, giving them privacy. She leaned her back on the side doors as he pressed his long figure on her small frame.

"Missed me?" He leaned down to her. She noticed his dreads pinned up into a ponytail. Seeing his whole face excited her. Biting her lip as she stood so close to a hottest being on earth. He spun her hat around to see her face clearly. She giggled, stretching on her tippy toes to meet him for a quick kiss.

Thinking the kiss would be quick, he cupped her face and deepened the kiss as he tilted his head to the side. She immediately responded into the slow kiss. Adding his tongue again, she felt like melting right there with the snow on the ground. Her eyes fluttered shut once they fought for dominance. Enjoying and disappointed at how he over power her when his huge tickles hers. She ended up sucking his bottom lip. Nibbling then biting it.

He pulled away a bit, groaning. She sighed in relief, letting a cloud of air brush his face. Staring at her flawless beauty with all the snow drifting down.

"I do miss you." She said, locking eyes with his. Gripping his tan leather jacket, not wanting him to move away from her. Although, that must wait for another time.

Clem loosened her grip when he pecked her lips again, pressing hard against her pinky lips, showing her how much he adores her. She moaned heavenly in the kiss. His hands rested on her hips, rubbing his thumbs on her. They stared at each other with low hooded eye lips. Gazing as their lips pressed together with a smile on their faces.

He pulled back, releasing a loud smooch from their lips.

"I miss you too." He stood up tall, no longer leaning against her to the car. They held hands as they made their way inside. The body warmth was very pleasing. But they knew it wouldn't last. They detached from each other when Louis opened the door for her.

Clem walked next to Ava who was arguing with Duck about the difference between ginger bread and cookies.

"Isn't a ginger bread man a chocolate chip cookie?!" Duck said. Ava rolled her eyes to the back of her head. Leaving him with his stupid questions.

"Ugh...Clem!" Her eyes lit up.

"Hey, Clem!" Mariana squeezed between the arguing tall teens. Ava ignored Duck rant and ran to Clem, hugging her in a bear hug. Mariana jumped on them, almost causing Clem to fall.

"Hey guys! Who is that talking to Marlon?" Clem pointed. Ava shrugged. Mariana smiled as the dude with black hair spotted them staring and waved at them shyly. Mariana waved back. She pulled the girls to the side to sit.

"That's James. He told me Sarah invited him." Mariana emphasized that girl's name like its poisonous. Ava glanced at James and then Mariana. A small smirk appeared.

"Who's this James, Mari?" She whispered. Mariana blushed, knowing where this is heading.

"Shut up, Ava. We just have classes together. And he's a very nice guy." Mariana whispered. Clem and Ava gave her a look. Mariana gave up. The girls' eyes already beating her to cut to the point. But Mariana told them the truth.

"Come sit with me! I wanna see you build one!" Stephanie pulled Louis in front of Clem. They sat down and one of them accidentally kicked Clementine's shin. Where her leg fucked up at.

"FUCK!" She glared at them. The girl paid her no mind as she talked about some musical playing next week and she badly want to see it. Clem's leg throbbed from hard heel boots.

Louis jumped. Catching Clementine's sour face, glaring at Stephanie. He snuck her leg on top of his thigh, rubbing her shin under the clothed table. Clem slightly slouched on the chair.

"You okay?!" Ava panicked. Mariana rubbed Clem's arm, concerned for her.

Clem, secretly happy, she hid her smile behind a straight face as she nodded. Louis and Clem eyed each other briefly with a small smile. The way his hand massaged her shin felt amazing. He could do this all day.

Watching Louis replying and laughing a bit with the new girl, sort of pissed Clem off. Beside the new girl slightly flirting with him, he didn't let anything stop him from caressing her lower leg. His touch calmed her down and eased the pain.

The gang settled down and Sarita and other few staffs came by instructing the teens and other guests how to cut and connect the dessert and decorate it.

The adults moved to another table, repeating the same thing. Everyone couldn't help staring at Brody's beady eyes on the dessert and whip cream. Marlon passed her the whip creme and she squirted a small size and licked it.

"Why are you encouraging her!?" Omar exclaimed with his hands pointing directly at Brody. Marlon wrapped his arm around Brody hip, patting her butt.

"Whatever makes my woman happy, I'm happy." He stuck out his middle finger.

"Don't be surprise to see huge ass granny panties." Willy snickered, bouncing his shoulders. Marlon shrugged, not caring what they say. Whether she small or big, he promised to stay with her.

"Even if I bloat, I probably won't wear panties." Brody told them. Everyone faces dropped.

"Are you not wearing any?" Mitch asked with a scrunched-up face.

"What for? I'm not on my period no more..."

"Don't you feel free?!" Stephanie jumped in the conversation. Brody nodded her head, agreeing with Stephanie.

"Exactly my point!"

"Eww!"

"Like you guys don't sleep naked."

"That's different." Omar said.

"You sleep naked?" Violet and the other shifted their chairs away from Omar.

"What?" Omar looked around clueless.

"Guys, we should make this more interesting." Aasim said, changing the topic. Brody and Marlon smirked. They reached in a bag and handed out small Sunny D bottles to everyone but the youngsters.

AJ, Tennessee, and Becca didn't pay them any mind as they started building while talking about random stuff.

Violet knitted her brows in confusion. She held up the bottle, wondering what the couple have under their sleeve this time.

Marlon gestured them to huddle closer.

"We spiked the juices." Brody whispered. The couple started cackling like idiots. Aasim stood up, reaching over to clap hands with Marlon.

"Atta boy! We can't play a bet sober!" Aasim winked. The couple handed the juices out.

"What are we betting?" Ruby asked as she sipped her vodka orange juice.

"Whoever house fuck up or fall loses. And the winner will earn... What was it before?"

"We are making it thirty dollars each. The kids don't count. So, you can't play sober. You have to be fucking wasted." Marlon announced it. Everyone nodded.

"Do you think... you can play? You don't have to. We don't want to get in trouble by your father." Louis asked Stephanie. She gave him her pointer finger as she gulped the small bottle. She released a satisfied smile.

"I'm so in with this bet." She nudged her arm on his. He awkwardly smiled. He glanced at Clem, seeing her talking to Gabriel over Mariana.

"Gabriel, fuck up and give me fifty." Clem smirked. Gabriel looked at her as if she's crazy. He shook his head.

"Mami, I'll end you. Pay up your down payment now." He held out his hand. Clem slapped his hand. Ava, Clem, and Mariana threatened that they'll knock down his house.

"Okay big bad wolves." Duck grinned the girls.

Louis sighed. Prefer his girlfriend to sit next to him. Stephanie's mouth kept yapping about her violin concerts over the years. Louis grabbed a bottle and drank it.

Duck and Mitch down three fourths of the bottle as everyone else paced themselves. They started setting the base and cutting the walls in their size preference.

"How the fuck?! My walls are screwed!" Duck complained. He tried jamming the bread to each other.

"That's what she said." Mitch joked, having everyone chuckle. Ava laughed as she tried helping her freckled country boy.

"No helping!" Ruby pointed. Ava dropped the utensil as shrugged her shoulders at the pouting Duck.

"I thought you were good at math?" Mariana said towards Duck.

"Yes, when I'm sober. Not freaking intoxicated." He whispered. He was already down on his fourth bottle, along with Mitch, Marlon, and Brody. Ruby and Omar had sixth bottles and still can build a house. But Ruby's house is more ahead then anyone's.

Clem stared at Ruby house in awe.

"That's so not fair. How is her house standing?" She whined. Clem tried standing her walls up. Louis chuckled at Clem's cute pout. He could tell from her voice she's tipsy. He passed her the icing. The brunette smacked her forehead.

"I'm such an idiot!" The whole time, she forgot to add icing to attach the walls together.

"You are." Louis grinned. Clem rolled her eyes. Shifting her leg, rubbing his thigh. He stiffened a bit and glanced at her. She avoided his eyes, continuing where she left off.

"Farmer girl have more talent than Fisher boy here." Omar praised Ruby. The ginger smiled. Duck threw icing at Omar but he caught it and used it for his roof.

"She's trying to win because I know her and Aasim made a side bet." Violet teased at the blushing Ruby and Aasim. Louis leaned next to Violet.

"What side bet? We all need to hear this." He wiggled his brow at Aasim.

"Violet don't you dar-"

"Cmon Violet. Tell us! Tell us! Tell us!" Marlon chanted as carefully added icing on the corner of his wall. Brody shamelessly spraying a can of whip in her mouth.

"We don't keep secrets here." Omar stated.

Clem and Louis glanced at each other and then looked away.

"It's none of ya business." Aasim's face glowed red on his tan skin. The guys looked at Louis. He wore a twisted smirk on his face.

"Is it about keeping her panties?"

That's how Louis lost the bet first.

Aasim knocked down Louis's house with a gumdrop and gummy bears. Clem laughed hysterically. The look on her secret boyfriend's face was priceless. Where's a camera when she needed it.

Louis glared and 'accidentally' jerked his leg on the table and knocked down Violet's, Marlon's, Willy's, and Mariana's houses.

Ava and Clem made sure to hold on to their houses. Brody lost regardless, nibbling on the ginger bread pieces from the start. Since her boyfriend lost, she started eating his. Marlon chuckled, at her stuffing her face. She poked a piece near his mouth, he opened and ate it. The two smiled genuinely.

"You fucking ass wipe! You made me lose!" Violet yelled as she smacked Louis's chest multiple times. Stephanie giggled as she kept pasting icing on hers.

Now the bet is left with Clementine, Duck, Ava, Ruby, Mitch, Gabriel, Stephanie, and Omar.

"Done."

"What the fuck is that?" Brody asked in confusion.

"A house." Mitch leaned back on his chair with confidence in the air. Someone came behind and peered over him.

"You literally stacked up the pieces. It looks like a book." Sarah tapped Mitched forehead. He turned to face her.

"You finally made it?!" He smiled.

"Of course. I had to shower when a customer accidently spilled coffee on me. How's everyone?" Sarah said as she took a seat between James and Mitch.

"Goochi!"

"Great~!" Ava slurred. Clem shushed her, laughing a bit because of Louis failure.

"That's good."

"Does that mean I won?" Mitch asked with his arms cross.

"NO!" Everyone shouted. He flinched, rubbing the inside of his ears so it can pop.

"You just have shit over shit. You lost and wasted the icing." Violet complained as she teared a piece with her teeth and munched on it.

"You guys are haterssss!" Mitch slurred. Sarah cocked her head to the side.

"Are you... guys...drunk?" She asked in his ear. Mitch sighed. He respects his friend so much but she can be a downer at times. He got up and dragged her away from everyone. He found a deserted corner at the shop.

"Mitch! You know you guys could get into deep trouble-"

"I know. We know. I know. Just be cool for once. We won't bother anyone." He tried to calm her. Sarah sighed. She nodded her head. Trusting the boy.

"I believe you. Just don't ever do this again. Okay? Not around my family." She laid her hand on his shoulder.

"Okay, Babe." If that didn't shock her, the short kiss on her lips did. Tasting the bitter sweet sensation from his lips.

Realizing what he did, he pulled away quickly. Staring at her in shock. Sarah brushed her hair behind her ears and adjusted her red frames.

"..I-I..umm..."

"...Mitch..." Nothing came out. She didn't know what to say to him. To his surprise, her arms wrapped around his torso. Their faces heating up from the close contact. She dropped her arms and looked at him shyly.

Neither of them said anything. Just standing they with a smile tugging the corner of their lips.

Mitch took a deep breath, tilting down to her. Sarah observed his every move. Waiting for his lips to contact hers again.

"Mitch! Tell Willy to stop using up the icing!" Ruby shouted. Mitch sighed, inches from Sarah's face. They stared at each other for a bit. Knowing this unclear feeling will be question later.

He walked back with her to his seat like nothing happen. Holding her hand in a tight grip. Sarah still frozen from that sudden move Mitch pulled. He let go of her when they came in view.

They sat back down, Mitch snatching the icing from Willy and staring at the others building. Mitch asked if he can have his bet money now. Of course, they all declined because he didn't follow the instructions on building correctly and the survivors didn't finish.

Mariana switched over seats to talk to James. She whipped her hair to the side, flashing him a smile.

"I heard you barely passed the Spanish test this week." Her smile dropped. James nodded.

"Yeah. I suck at it."

"I can tutor you if you like?" She smiled. James raised his brow, smirking.

"Are you drunk?"

"I can tolerate whatever drink. It's in my blood." She jammed her finger on his shoulder. James found her drunk behavior hilarious.

"I never expected you to drink." He told her. Mariana smirked. She leaned up to his ear, whispering.

"There's a lot you wouldn't believe that I'm into." She patted his thigh and went back to her seat next to her brother.

James sat there blushing. Struck how she almost felt him a bit. Secretly liking the sound of her flirty voice and soft touch.

He prayed to God that Sarah is lying about Mariana sleeping for drugs. Before he contradicted himself. He once knew her as a holy girl but now... She barely wears her veil, she cusses here and there, and drinking with her friends. This new Mariana he is witnessing outside from school and church is quite... hot.

James found it hard to believe this side of her. No one can't be the judge, either should he. He's dealing with old friends he now sees as the enemy.

He glanced up to see Sarah staring at him.

"What?"

The girl sat on the seat that Mariana was sitting on.

"I told you to be careful with her. She's trouble." She whispered. James shrugged his shoulders. If anyone trouble, it's going to be Ben and his posy.

"You're wrong."

"Jam-"

"Can you just enjoy my Asian house?" He showed her his master piece. Everyone over heard him and eyed the well-designed house. Ruby's and Omar's houses doesn't look as clean and neat as James.

"Well... Sploosh." Ava stated. All the girls nodded except the Violet how shook her head at them. If he joined the bet, he'll won automatically.

By the end of the day, Ruby's house crashed down because Aasim bumped into her when he got up to use the bathroom, Brody destroyed Omar's house by picking on one corner end, Ava added too much decorations on the roof, and Ava got mad at Gabriel's hype and knocked his down that the table rumbled which knocked Stephanie's down. So Clem and Duck was left standing.

Clem had to fight hands from touching her work of art.

"Ya some haters. We are going home with a full house." Clem stuck her tongue out as she fist bumped Duck.

Ava leaned to Duck, whispering in his ear.

"That's gonna leave me less than one hundr-" He complained but she brought his ear back down to her lips.

"Clem cheated?!" He exclaimed.

"No!" Clem inaudible, scrunching her face. Everyone observed her work. It was pretty crappy, but it was cute with all the candy sticking everywhere.

"Why your shit has all that icing and gumdrops?!"

"To keep it standing, bitch! Can you excuse me, I'm taking a picture of my work with my cousins. And feel free to cash app me." She winked at them. She got up and stumbled towards AJ and his friends at the end of the table.

AJ finished his too and won his own bet with them. Becca's and Tennessee's houses looked disgusting unlike AJ's. AJ and Clem decided to put their money together and split it. Sharing is caring.

"She wasn't drunk enough." Marlon whined. Brody rubbed Marlon's back while chewing on a candy cane.

"Well ya owe us one hundred and thirty-five dollars." Duck did the math mentally. The gang groaned. Even Stephanie.

"You guys are fun but evil." She handed Duck thirty dollars. Duck made sure to give the fifteen to Clem through cash app. Everyone else just gave fifteen dollars to the winners.

Clem snapped a couple of pictures with AJ and her with their master piece and just the piece. She sent them to Carley and her aunt Rebecca. Rebecca immediately replied how adorable it is and for AJ to bring his ass back home. She sighed.

It's getting late and the kids need to be drop off.

Her phone vibrated. She glanced at it.

Louis: Babe. You're leaving?

Clem shivered. Giddy from being called 'babe'. It maybe the alcohol affecting her balance or Louis's existence. Who knows. But her legs are giving out. She bit her lip and replied to him.

C: Yeah.

L: Good night kiss?

C: Take me to my car. I can't barely carry my amazing delicious art work.

Louis read her text with a small smile on his face. He stood up.

"I'll be back." He told Stephanie. Stephanie whipped her neck to look at him.

L: Okay, now you're just bragging.

Louis texted Violet really quick.

L: Need a ride back?

V: Imma ride with Omar. He owe me nuggets

Violet asked Omar for a ride. He okayed it with a head nod.

"Guys we'll be leaving first to take the kids home." Louis said, he hooked his arm under Clem's leg and the other around her upper torso. She wrapped her arms around his neck and slump into the crook of his neck. Shut her eyes as she inhaled his light musk.

Tennessee and AJ carried the gingerbread houses in a box that Sarita handed out. Becca followed behind them as they left outside.

When the door shut, Ava made a look. Lips pursed together with her brows raise.

"I am not the only one who saw that?" She asked them.

Marlon hiding his smile behind his palm. Thinking how slick his friend tries to be. Clearly Louis is sobering up, but he's so blinded in a tipsy mind state that no one caught him staring at Clem the whole time.

"They're just friends." Mariana protested. Gabriel sat there listening quietly. He had no purpose to say anything since he screwed up his part after his relationship with Clementine. Yet, he does feel heat boiling in the pit of his stomach. He knew this going to happen someday. And he blames himself for causing it.

"Yeah... Friends alright." Duck snickered when he slides his phone to Ava. Ava shifted close to see a video of two people on Duck's front lawn making out.

"Oh... My... Gawd!" The brown girl gasped as she pushed the phone to Mariana. Gabe and Mitch peaked over. Eyes popping out their heads.

"What?! You caught them?!" Mitch yelled between laughing. Duck nodded his head.

"I went to see if it was still snowing and I saw them. I guess she forgot who lawn she was at." He said, tearing a piece of bread and threw it at Ava. Ava caught it with her mouth and winked.

"Wow! They are going ham."

Marlon narrowed his eyes as he spun the phone close to him. Brody's eyes widened while licking her chocolate syrup fingers. The phone went around, and the gang started bickering.

"That's crazy."

"This is so hot."

"Who would had known. Do you guys think they... You know..."

"NO!" Ava, Duck, and Gabriel shouted.

Violet saved her fingers. She rather surprises them on Monday or something about the gang knowing their secret.

Duck took his phone back.

"Clem a sneaky bitch. How come she didn't tell me!?" Ava growled, throwing a gummy bear at Duck. He caught it in his hand and threw it back at her.

"Louis didn't tell me... He always kept to himself anyway." Marlon shrugged.

"Well...She was crushing on him for a while." Ava said.

"Whoa. Whoa. Wait...She liked him?" Brody gasped. Stephanie sitting beside her frowned.

"Do you think they are keeping this from us just because?" Duck pointed out. Ava sighed, shrugging her shoulders. All she can think about is Louis treating Clem right. Hoping he don't fuck up before she ruin him.

"Maybe. We should respect their privacy." Ruby said.

"Just when I was about to flame Knight ass." Aasim huffed his shoulders and slammed his head on the table.

"What's wrong?" Duck asked Ava. The girl shook her head.

"She always tells me stuff. I feel left out now." Ava leaned her head on Duck's shoulder. Duck flicked Ava's forehead.

"You're not the only one. I'm always left out! Ya be telling me stuff weeks later. Like this ass hole fucking Sophie." Duck pointed at Gabe. Everyone jaws dropped.

Marlon slammed his fist on the table while laughing.

"You fucked who!?" Omar squinted at Gabriel in disbelief. Gabriel cue to get up. He grabbed his sister's arm.

Time to go.

"Vamos."

"You did!? Gabe! This conversation will continue when we meet again!" Aasim hollered. Ruby nudged him. The guys roared out laughing. Violet rolled her eyes.

"Guys that's not funny. Sophie had taken a sex drug that night that nearly killed her while drinking." She said bluntly. Their laughter died down into silence.

"What? What happened? When was this?" Brody furrowed her brows. Violet ran her hands through her short blonde locks.

"Right after Marlon stormed off." Omar said.

"At the fucking Halloween party. These dudes that fucking Ben hung out with were handing out or slipping pills in cups. And Sophie had consumed so much alcohol that the pill made her bitch horny and temperature drop." Violet explained as tears burned her eyes. Brody and Ruby got up and rubbed Violet's back.

"What!? She didn't tell me that!" Ava slammed her fist on the table. Angry how Sophie missed some certain parts about that day.

"We fucked up guys! If we never went to that fucking party-"

"Vi, we didn't fuck up. Ben did." Marlon glanced at James. James shot him a stare. He got up, hearing enough information about the new drug that they are handing out now.

Earlier, Marlon told James as much as he knows about Ben like his past with him and his address. Ben dorming at West Georgia University. Therefore, James plant to make a trip. Popping up on him.

"Sarah, I must go." He said softly, as he got up. Sarah stopped talking to Mitch and got up to hug James before he leaves.

"Take care then."

Stephanie got bored of the gang. She looked around for Louis. Nowhere to be found. She got up and left after James.

.

.

"I'll follow you home." Louis sat Clem in the driver seat. She took a swing of a bottle of water from her cup holder.

"Louis, you don't have to-" Soon as she tried to convince him, he interrupted her.

"Babe." He said with a serious face.

That shut her up. And made her knees shake. She tilted down and kissed his lips lazily. He pecked her lips before pulling away.

"Drink this whole bottle. AJ, if she can't drive, call me." He told AJ. The teen in the passenger seat nodded. Becca in the back was knocked out. Louis felt bad. He really wanted to drive them home safely but Clem refuse to and said it was her responsibility.

"Are you sure you don't want me to drive?" Concern written on his face. Clem gulped down the bottle.

"Lou, I'm fine. Look, I'm drinking another bottle, okay." She wiggled the full bottle. Louis gave her another kiss but on the cheek.

"I just don't want you end up hurt or pull over. Okay." His voice lowered. Clem smiled at him being so protective.

"I'll text you when I drop these two off and call you when I'm home."

"Okay. You promise."

"Kiss promise." She suggested, sprinkling his face with kisses.

"Oh God! Why in front of me?! Leave Louis!" AJ whisper shouted, ushering the boy to go by flicking his wrist. Louis smirked. Clem giggled as she handed Louis another bottle for sobering up on his behalf.

"You'll learn when you're older." He stepped backwards and watched Clem smoothly exited out the parking lot and off to the streets.

"Louis!" He turned to see Stephanie. He almost forgot about her. He opened the bottle and gulped it down.

"You ready?"

"Of course..." She sounded a bit disappointed. As Louis drove off, Stephanie leaned close to the window, staring at passing buildings. Louis noticed how quiet she was. Assuming she's tired.

"Good night, Ten." Louis waved at Tennessee. Waited for him to enter the house. When he saw him go inside, Louis drove out the drive way.

Back on the streets, Stephanie sighed.

"Is something bothering you?" He stopped at a red light behind a couple of cars.

"Yeah." She dragged her curly hair to the other side of her shoulder. Remembering him kissing all over that girl, touched her lovingly, and gawking her when every he got a chance. It...gave her a taste to her mouth.

"What is it?" Louis asked. He sat back a bit, looking at Stephanie.

"I-I don't know. Things just... not going right."

"Like what?"

"I don't feel like explaining. I'm tired." She said rather quickly. Louis didn't bother to press it. He sat there quietly.

Green light, he gradually took off to drop her home.

.

.

At home at last, Clem texted Lee and Carley. Neither of them answered. So, she tried calling Carley. She didn't pick up. She called again, and the same thing happened.

The brunette called Lee.

"Yes, Sweetpea." He sounded exhausted.

"I'm home. Where are you?" Clem asked while going to the kitchen to get a snack. She sat her gingerbread house box on the kitchen table.

"I just left ma and pa. I'm on my way home."

"Oh okay. Well, I tried calling Carley... She didn't pick up." Clem told him. She heard screeching from the line.

"Lee?" That's when Clem's phone started beeping crazy. Assuming that the same thing happening to Lee.

"Carley hit the panic button. Stay home."

"Bu-" Lee hung up on her. Clem grew worried, so she ended up calling Carley again. No answer.

Her phone rung hoping to see Carley name but it wasn't. Her chest felt tight.

"Lou-Louis." She stuttered.

"Open the door." She ran to the door and saw him smiling but that left his face when he saw tears leaking down. He hugged her tightly in his arms.

"What the hell is going on, Clem?"

"Something happening and I'm not sure." She stuffed her face in his chest. He shut the door behind him and the two waited for her parents in the living room.

Clementine explained to him what happened. Louis stayed positive for the most part. Lighting up the mood.

Clem glad that Louis drove all the way to her place to check on her. In his arms, made her feel secure under this circumstance. She wouldn't be able to handle being alone in the dark house.

Louis had her between his legs. Holding her as if she's his baby. Which she is to him. His baby girl.

In such a weak state, he is very thankful that something inside of him told him to visit her before going to bed. And seeing her like this, he had to stay for her. He will stay the whole night if he has to.

"They'll be back, Fairy." He whispered on her temple. She nodded her head. Fearing the worst.

"Play me, 'Clementine'." She whispered to him. He nodded. Took out his phone and looked through his recording till he spotted their song. He clicked on it and the soothing piano echoed through the house. Warming up the atmosphere.

They shifted in their position, laying stretched out on the couch with her laying on his side. He held her close to him, combing his fingers through her curls.

"I'm here, Clem. Don't worry. Everything going to turn out fine. They should be back." And she believed her knight and shiny armor. She hugged around his torso. Staying awake for her parent's arrival.

.

.

Carley burst out the bar with her coworkers. They were all tipsy, trying to find their vehicle at a late time.

"See ya Carley!" Her friend called out.

"I will. Drive safe guys." She yelled out. The guys laughter echoed.

Carley stumbled on her heels. In a fuzzy mind like hers, the world felt slower. She saw her car at a distance, but it seemed like it was moving further, further away.

When she finally made it, she dug in her purse searching for her darn camouflage keys. Cussing under her breath, she succeeded finding them.

She fumbled with the keys and stuck the car key in the hole. Unlocking the door, she planted her butt on the seat with the door slammed.

"Shit... they killed my legs on that floor." She whined, rubbing her hands on her thighs. She picked up her cellphone to check for any messages.

She saw one from Clem. AJ and her baby girl standing next to their hard work. Carley couldn't wait to dig in. Her daughter wouldn't mind, right?

Clem giggled. She flipped her hair back into a high ponytail. As she gazed into her rear mirror, a face glared back at her from the back seats.

Staring hard at her while pulling up a sharp object.

Carley only thought was to call anyone. She reached for her phone. Then something quickly pierced through her hand on the arm rest.

"AHHHHHHHHHHHHH!" Carley screamed her lungs off. Rapidly breathing and crying hot tears as she stared at the knife through her hand. The sight of blood made her heart drop. The pain she was feeling was unbearable.

Her trembled eyes gaze up at the blonde girl smirking at her.

"Why are you doing this to me?" Carley cried. The knife ripped off her hand and she hugged her hand that was over flooding out blood. Trying her best to stop the bleeding.

"He was happier with me. He loved me. He told me I was special and would succeed in life." The girl said. She got out the back seat and swung opened the driver side.

Carley only thought about calling Lee and Clem. Telling them how much she loves them so much. Telling them everything will be alright for them. This crazy girl going to murder her!

The blonde dragged Carley out the car to the snowy street. Carley tried to crawl backwards. Yet the girl grabbed her leg. Carley saw her phone next to her and clicked on it. The woman started kicking wildly until the knife struck behind her thigh.

Only screams could be heard, and no one was around to hear them.
