Chapter 48: We Lived (Part 2)

The green eyes teen brushed her now long blonde locks back. She just got out the shower so brushing downwards through her damp strands were smoother. The brushing process gotten longer since going for a haircut never pop in her mind. The ends pass her shoulders by two inches.

She sighed.

She wondered how she's doing. The brush dropped on her dresser as her thoughts focused on someone she dearly missed.

Violet belly flopped on her twin size bed, rubbing her body against the warm blankets that made her mind drifted to the old days with cuddling, kissing, and getting lost in heated moments.

She whipped her damped hair over shoulder, reached for her phone. Unlocking it to view the album, titled 'BAE' with a purple and red heart emoji. She went through the album. A bunch of pictures with her and Minerva.

She scrolled through each picture. Ones of them smiling, staring at the camera. Making funny faces. Sleeping Minerva on the very bed she is lying on. A short video of them dancing at some party she couldn't remember. Saved Off guard pictures that she got from Brody and Louis in a text message. Kissing snap videos.

Violet laughed to herself. Replaying the video of Minerva talking to the gang and then faced the camera with a sexy smirk. The camera switched to front view, capturing them kissing slow and deep.

She swiped her finger across the screen. Searching for her favorite picture. Stopping at the picture of the time when Minerva first trimmed and shaved the left side of her hair. They went to a concert together. Minerva and Louis entered a contest and won first place as a duo. Minerva stuck her tongue out, one hand in a rock sign and the other holding the trophy with Louis who was grinning like a cheese ball with a wink and flexing his arm.

That was the day Minerva told Violet that she loves her, and they shared their first ever intimate experience. Teary eyed as she swiped to more pictures and videos.

How can she hate her? At first, she wanted to hate Minerva for not talking to her about leaving for God knows how long. Hate her guts, high spirit, crooked smile, stupid red hair, plain soap scent, heavenly voice, and everything else. Thinking of all those things signifying how much she loves and misses her.

She exited out the gallery to the text messages. She clicked on Minnie's.

M: I'll be over there.

The last message that she sent.

She sighed again. Minerva sent her that text after Sophie was discharged from the hospital.

Why did they go to that dumb party anyway?

Violet checked her other messages from the group chat and from Louis about the New Year's Eve party.

Going to a party sound so...disgusting. When had she ever gone to a party without Minerva. Ever since they reached high school, Minerva gave her the energy to party her ass off. Now, without her. Everything is weird and new. Is she single or still in a relationship? Minerva literally ghost her for almost two months.

Violet turned on her side, cradling her legs in her arms. Pressing her forehead against her knees.

Louis, her close friend, made sure to check on her daily. He never misses a day or night to tell her the weirdest shit or funny random stuff that happened in class.

She guessed right that Minerva told him to watch over her. They know how vulnerable she can get. And how worrisome Minerva is. But why bother when she's not here.

Violet shut her eyes. Allowing the tears to fall.

Hoping her grandmother and parents don't hear her sobbing in her bedroom.

.

.

Violet sat next to Clem at the library. Clem asked her to company her real quick, so she could print something.

"Are you okay with everyone knowing?" Violet randomly brought up. Clementine slumped her shoulders. Moving the mouse around and typing in her email login.

"I didn't expect it to happen so quickly. I mean, we can be a couple openly but... Now it's embarrassing since my mom told her friends yesterday." Clem pouted her cheeks. Violet snorted.

"Wow. Serious. You don't like the spot light on you?"

"No! I was walking my neighbor's dog this morning and Duck's dad was out shelving snow. He gave me advice on crushing the living soul out a man's nuts with a salt lick. The most awkward conversation I ever had than force to hear AJ's mom discuss sex to us." Clem complained.

"Well, if Lou never shuts up, you know a way to do it." Violet chuckled. Clem blushed. She bumped her arm on Violet's.

"Like what? A kiss?"

"Not what I had in mind." Violet popped her brows up and down. Making Clem uncomfortable.

"I will not touch him there like that! That's...Not me. I can't." Clem narrowed her eyes. Remembering Kenny showing her to squeeze the male's balls. He even used a snowball for demonstration. Crushing it in his grip.

Clem exited out the computer, seeing her paper is printed on the Librarian's desk. They got up, walking toward the desk. The brunette stapled her five pages and they took off.

Arms flung around their necks. The auburn-haired teen popped in between.

"Any idea of what you girls going to wear at the party?!" She smiled with wide eyes. Violet and Clem glanced at Brody.

"No clue." Violet shrugged.

"Ava, Mariana, and I planned to wear dresses or pants. Depends on the weather and how we feel." Clem told them with a one shoulder shrug. Brody let go of them, walking in between.

"I was planning to wear a dress too but... I don't know what shoes to wear. Wedges or heels?"

"Wedges." Violet and Clem said in unison. Brody snapped her fingers.

"Thanks, loves! I'll go with heels." She ran off seeing Ava at her locker. They started discussing something about the party.

Violet and Clementine glanced at each other. Were they speaking Tagalog or something. Fine Brody, slip and fall.

"How's dating Louis?" Violet asked as they made it to class. Clem sat down, swung her bag between her legs. She looked up, in deep thought.

Amber eyes landed on Violet with a shy smile on her face. Her hands cupped her rosy cheeks.

"No words could describe how he makes me feel." Violet felt touch from her choice of words.

"You know you're his first ever girlfriend." Violet smirked. Perking her eye brows high. Clem gasped, flabbergasted and unconvinced.

"Seriously!? You're lying."

"Dude. No lie. Back in middle school, girls crave to be with his wimpy ass."

"Pfft. He had fangirls?"

"Hell. Yeah! He never told you about his locker stuffed with Valentine's day. Every year. And I mean EVERY year. People try to be his buddy just because he's rich and ask to borrow some money. And when he learned to shut up and close himself, people thought he was being arrogant and selfish. That's why he came to Ericson, where not many students know much of his background and old charm."

His stupid handsome face that makes the Gods push clouds away so the sun rays smack him on his freckled face. Voice so sweet, Clementine can listen all day until he insults her in some way. Dedication to fulfill his goal to make her and friends feel alive and special. And his humorous jokes that may not make everyone laugh but his girlfriend. Clem fell for it. All of Louis. Louis only use his specialty on those he cares about or interested.

During class, Violet told her some stories how Louis casually flirted with many girls. It was one of his natural behaviors. In middle school, it got out of hand. Girls threw themselves on him. When he transferred to Ericson, he toned down the flirtatious side a bit and came up making whack jokes or pranks.

"Aren't I special." Clem sighed while writing on her lines paper. Violet chuckled.

"I'm happy it's you and not Sophie."

That slipped out and Clem heard her loud and clear. Violet realized her mistake, watching Clem continuously writing down on her journal. The class dragged slow and it was quiet the whole day.

After class, Violet wanted to apologize but Clem left rather quick.

.

.

While eating chicken tenders at KFC, Louis was explaining his game at gym. Him and Marlon brought their team to victory whenever they on the same side.

"Baseball sucks." Violet stuffed her tender in a small puddle of ketchup. Louis scrunched his nose. Defended, he gasped with his hand on his chest.

"You suck."

"Not as much as baseball." She retorted as she stole his tender.

Brody and Marlon sat alone at a two seated table. Sharing tenders and fries.

"I think I pulled a muscle from swinging." Marlon rolled his shoulder. Brody leaned on him, kissing his shoulder.

"I can rub you down with icy hot or muscle reliever creme." She proposed. Marlon smiled down at her. Kissing her forehead.

"I would love that, babe."

"Wish someone rub me down. I'm tired from doing laps around the gymnasium." Aasim sluggishly sat beside Omar who was devouring his chicken legs.

"I'll do it for you Aasim." Louis winked. Aasim felt his skin crawl.

"I hope Clem knows you swing both ways."

"Don't deny our love for each other. You know you like me." Louis said before gulping down his coke cola.

"I'm not gay. Fucker." He flipped his middle finger. Everyone laughed.

"Oh yeah, how's the panty raid?" Louis asked Aasim. Aasim's tan cheeks turned red, gripping his fist tightly.

"Shut up! It wasn't like that." He hissed through his teeth. Louis roared out a laugh. Love bothering Aasim. The teen with the goatee so glad that Ruby at home.

"What was the bet about? Vi?" Everyone turning to the blonde girl.

"Shut up, Louis! Vi! Don't." Aasim warned. His threatening voice didn't faze her as she opened her mouth.

"Chill out. A sixty-nine is no big deal." She shrugged. Finished her tenders so she moved to Louis's fries. The air grew heavy and silent. Everyone eyed Aasim who head was stuffed in his crossed arms on the table. Jaw dropping like gasping fish.

"No. Way." Marlon said with wide eyes, slurping his Sprite.

Louis stopped cracking up when he felt Violet's foot nudge his leg. No chill when it comes to his boy, Aasim.

"How was it?" Omar asked, very serious. The boy with the curls folded his hands after dapping around his mouth clean with a napkin. Aasim lifted his head, glaring at Omar next to him.

"Did ya made it all sloppy?!" Marlon asked, nibbling on the fries with a straightest face.

Louis leaned over the table with a fox grin on his face.

"Who~ was on top~?" Louis sung.

"Who do you think was on top, idiot!?"

"You."

"I hate you guys." The tips of his ears steaming.

"Why is Marlon's and my business more out there than yours. We all friends here. Why not share your mindless blow blow." Mitch smirked across from Aasim. Aasim side glance at the window then back at them. Face still beat red.

"If Louis shares his first... How about with him and Clementine." The cocky confidence went down when Louis gave him a blank look.

"What do you mean? We don't do nothing freaky like you, Mr. Sixty-Nine." He teased.

"Yeah right. That video of you two making out seem intense." Aasim pressing the boy with the dreadlocks. Louis rolled his eyes.

"It was and we're not at that level where we are eating or sucking each other like you and our precious Ruby." He said heartily. Brody reached over, stealing Aasim's fries.

"Bet Gabe gave her better head than you ever could had imagine."

That topic never came in mind. Louis cringed, imagining Gabe going down on Clem or Clem doing tricks with her mouth on Gabe. Is Clem freaky like that? Can't be. She's a cinnamon roll. A cinnamon roll with a hand grip of a man. A working man hands.

"Clem and Gabe done it?!" He whipped his head at Aasim. Dreadlocks smacking his cheeks.

"Probably. Remember at the summer party. Basically humping each other like animals in heat." No one can't never forget that. Clem was like the new girl at the block looking all sweet and sexy at the party. Body rolling and hips whining.

The dread head teen can't wait to dance behind that ass one day.

"She can back up on me any time." Omar muttered. Louis paused, slowly turning his head to Omar. He shot him a glare. The juicy curls boy held up his hands in defense.

"What? She's good at dancing." Omar said.

"I'll make sure she's not around you at the party." Louis gave him the stink eye.

"So how pent up are you? Whenever I visit you, there's no panties on the floor. Are you two on a 'no sex' relationship?" Marlon used finger quotes. Brody and Violet narrowed their eyes at him. Violet got up to throw away her trash. Coming back, she punched Marlon's arm.

"Marlon, people don't have sex all the time to maintain a relationship. Just because ya two are rabbits doesn't mean Louis has to." Violet said.

"Is that what you see in me? Am I a sex doll to you?"

"No-Never, Babe! I'm still curious on who he been fucking before he met Clem." Marlon grinned, chin held up high. Louis rolled his eyes. This again.

"Yeah. Since we all friends here. Share, Bitch. " Aasim smirked, finishing his chicken sandwich. Louis shrunk in his chair. Hands stuffed in his pocket.

"I don't want to talk about it." He mumbled in his pullover collar.

"Was the pussy that bad?" Mitch asked as he went up to throw his trash out.

Louis stared off in space. Feeling regret hit him. He could tell Violet was staring elsewhere. The two made the aura tenser by staring off and the others looked between the two.

Brody and Marlon caught on quick. Gasping as if a huge wave crashed on them. Their bodies leaned back. Brody clinging on Marlon, preventing from falling off her seat.

"You can't be fucking serious?!" Marlon muffled behind his hand.

"You fucked Vi?" Mitch assumed.

Violet and Louis jumped off their seat.

"NO!" Louis and Violet left the fast food joint. Leaving their friends with nothing but more questions.

.

.

Sarah and Mitch went out to see 'Detective Pikachu' after school.

The two left out the theaters, hand in hand. They enter his car in silence. Still holding hands. Sarah nervously stare at his hand over hers. Can't believe Mitch asked her out for a movie date.

After he kissed her, she confronted him about it on a school day. Mitch told her he was drunk and seeing her up close made him want to kiss her. That's why he made a move on her.

By him saying that to her, disappointment hit her hard. He stole her first kiss and feelings were blossoming in her. Studying became hard, sleeping became naps, he would wonder in her mind here and there, and anxiety punch her like bag of rocks.

She never thought it would happen, but she finally saw stars and rainbows when he kissed her cheek at school. The smile rested on her face for the whole day.

She immediately told James about it. Squealing and blushing as she brought up the cheek kiss. What excited her the most is when Mitch didn't deny kissing her and still want to be around her afterwards.

"The part when Pikachu was singing was so cute." She squealed. Mitch mitched.

"Yeah. I can't believe we sung with him." He shook his head.

"Who wouldn't?! Everyone should know the theme song by now."

"You're right. I thought I forgot the words but nah. It's like glued and stapled in my brain." Mitch snorted. He sworn he forgot the lyrics but him and Sarah were screaming it with the crowd word by word.

"I had a great time." She sighed happily. Mitch nodded. He made a turn, off the path to go home.

"Wanna try something?" He asked. Sarah eyed him suspiciously. Noticing the off-trail path to the woods.

"Um... Like what?" She asked innocently. The car went deep, passing groups of trees and bushes. He parked the car, turned off the head lights and engine.

"I know you don't do this but... We been friends for so long. I always thought of trying it with you." He reached over the glove department, pulled out an already rolled up blunt.

Her brown eyes widened. Staring at the brown stick in his hands.

She shifted in her seat, corning herself against the door. Her father always warned her about doing drugs. All the hospital stories traumatized her at a young age. And she never pictured herself to face it. Her father's words haunting her thoughts.

"Um? Will I be okay?" She watched him lit up the blunt. A lingering smell drove to her nose. She covered half of her face. It stank.

"Of course. Look at me! I'm fine." He chuckled. He placed the end between his lips. Clouding his lungs in marijuana.

He turned to her, gesturing his fingers for her to come closer. She awkwardly moved up to him.

Very curious and hypnotized by his luring gaze. He cupped the back of her neck with one hand and the other tugged on bottom lip, opening her mouth.

Their lips met, she barely shut her eyes and felt clouds pass transfer from his mouth to her mouth. He pulled away, watch her shut her mouth, taking in the drug.

"Let it go through your chest and release it smoothly." He remembered saying that to another Latina. Sarah did what he said. Shaped her mouth into an 'o' and let out the smoke. At the end, she choked up from the harsh taste and burning on her throat. She rubbed her neck, frowning.

"That's nasty, Mitch." She scrunched her nose. Mitch took her hand and kissed the back of it.

"Hehee... Noob." He inhaled the blunt again and let it escape through his nose.

"My dad always told me to never try this." She said. Mitch already buzzing out as he takes another puff at it.

"I know. He hated me for smelling like this. He knows." He leaned back on his chair. Leveling it down.

"Yeah right."

"Wanna bet. I promise you, if he finds us out, he'll force us to break up." Mitch smirked. Sarah giggled.

"So...There's an us?" She asked. The boy with straight hair stared up at her with a blank face. His hand still gripping on to hers.

"Can there be an...Us?"

"Do you know how to properly ask a girl out?" Sara rolled her eyes. Mitch let go of her hand and covered his flushed face. He handed the blunt to her.

Sarah stared at the stick between her fingers. She silently prayed for causing sins. Place the butt of the blunt between her lips and intake the drug. Slowly, the drug kicked in her head. Drifting her thoughts elsewhere and relaxing her muscles.

She coughed behind her arm. She felt so bad disobeying her parents' rules. Especially her father's. She gave the blunt back to Mitch but be pushed it to her.

"Take another hit." She shrugged and did what he said. For the third time, she really felt light headed. She laid her head on the chair.

The two brunettes glanced at each other. High off their minds. Mitch snorted.

"What is it?" She felt her face, indicating something on her skin. Mitch leaned up, taking her hands off her face. Putting then down on her lap. He stared into her eyes.

The smile on his face disappeared.

"Do you regret kissing me?"

"N-No. Why would you ask that?"

"Because... We're so different and far from being a...badass. Honestly, I want to be around you more often. Like got out with you more." Mitch rubbed the back of his neck. Sarah reached for his hand that's covering his eyes. When she caught his palm, Mitch gave her his attention.

"I-I feel the same way. I thought you didn't want to hang around me anymore because you prefer to socialize with your popular friends." With that said, Mitch started cracking up. Nearly coughing his guts out.

"Pfft! Nothing popular about them. They all fuck ups. But they are...cool, I guess. I think you should hang with us!" He leaned up on his seat.

"What if I bore them?" She furrowed her brows and pouted.

"I promise you won't. How about coming as my date to the New Year's Eve party." He flashed her the two invitations. The blush on her cheeks spread on her entire face. She nodded rapidly. He chuckled, pushed her red frames back on her face.

"Let's go home before Daddy call in a search party." He straightened up, reclined his chair back up and started the car.

Sarah sighed, shutting her eyes slowly. The last bits of consciousness, she slithered her hand on his. The contact on her soft small hand entwined with his larger one. The welcoming affection turned their relationship around into a complete of three sixty.

Mitch pulled out from the woods, driving to Sarah's house.

While she slept with light snores escaping her mouth, he selfishly thought how this the only way to get rid of a certain someone who grew on to him. Smoking as much weed didn't help him forget her. Sick of seeing her in the school halls and group gatherings. Each time, she gets beautiful and fearless. Since the secret is out, Mariana is more herself than ever.

Memories that they shared start to seem more like a foggy dream that replays itself. That dream will linger in his heart forever.

He glanced at his sleeping now girlfriend.

Replacing her is the best thing to do to move on.

How can he move on when Mariana still dealing with drugs? Something that they vibe together. Getting high became their thing since day one.

It's all his fault.

"Shit..." He whispered.

.

.

"That New Year's Eve party down town?"

"Yes! He's going there!"

"Did you ask him to be your dance partner." The guy with dark brown hair said as he started shaking his hips. The two girls giggled. One of them stop laughing. Frowning.

"...No..."

"What do you mean?" The blonde girl said, with shiny long straight hair.

"I...I think he's with someone outside music school."

"Bitch! I thought you had him when you went to that fucking bread building shit!"

"Thought so too. But his friends said he's with this girl I met. He never looked at me with so much... care. Like ever. We been in music school for years. Years! The two staring at each other like some lovers or something. I thought I had a chance but...he's already taken." She sighed, shoulders slouching in disappointment.

The girl with long dark curls vented. Her tune was off by a few strings, making the bow scratch on the strings harshly. Her two friends, Erin and Justin flinched from the violin screeching. Both groaned, glaring at Stephanie.

Stephanie dropped her composure, set her violin on its stand. She sat next to her friends.

"Steph. Louis won't last long with her. She's just... She's a nobody." Justin tried to cheer his friend up.

"Yeah. Your name is everywhere. Magazines, blogs, TV, and stores. You're a star of the show. What makes you think some random girl going to stay with him? He's delusional for not realizing how great you are." Erin said as she cleaned off her saxophone.

"His parents and mine get along so well. I mean his parents love me. They always come to see my performances. Why can't he see what they see in me." She pouted her cheeks, tapping her foot on the carpet.

Justin got up, propping his leg on a chair and start fluttering his fingers on his guitar. One string way off, so he adjusted the string a bit more.

"Why haven't you told him you liked him?" Justin asked Stephanie. The girl mentally screamed the exactly thing every time.

"I'm a hopeless romantic. I prefer the boy ask me his dying love for me." She fluttered his thick lashes. Erin giggled as Justin shook his head.

"Clearly you didn't make enough effort to make him like you. Sitting here whining like a bitch." Justin said.

"Fuck you..."

"Right in the rear." He smirked. The girl looked at him like he was crazy. Then busted out laughing.

"Look girl, if you want him, get him. Don't let any bitch stop you." Justin told her. Soon as he fixed the strings, he started playing it. Tapping his foot in temple.

"Steal him away from her." Stephanie raised her brow. Erin smirked at her, flashing her metal mouth.

"That's so...clique. Louis not easy to... persuade." She mumbled sadly. Looking down at her lap. Justin sighed. He placed his guitar down, dug in his pocket to scuff out a tiny zip lock bag.

"Use this on him then." He gave her a small pill.

"What the fuck is this?"

"A sex pill."

"What the hell are you doing with this?!" Stephanie stared at the white small pill. Look like a flat round breathe mint.

"These guys out here shy so they need a boost. It's actually a pill to make people high but the dealers coated it to make people sex drive increase." He told them. Erin leaned to Stephanie, eyeing the pill then her.

"Will it work on him?"

"Works like a charm. Just know not to take it."

"Why?" Erin narrowed her blue eyes at him. The pretty boy laughed to himself. Hand on his forehead. He looked at his friends. Grinning like something on his mind is the funniest thing in the world.

"One hoe had a heart attack from taking it. Oh! Oh! Some red head bitch had it at this Halloween party. Bitch fuck some dude senseless and then had to be hospitalized. She ended up having hypothermia."

"It works for guys?"

"Guys can tolerate it more than girls. The dealers trying to make a girl one." He warned them.

"How do you know all of this?"

He pressed his finger on his lips.

"Connections sweetie."

Stephanie wrapped up the small pill in her handkerchief.

"Drug him up and take him to bed." Erin nudged her. Stephanie shook her head. She wanted Louis but not in that way.

"I have something else in mind."

Thursday. Last day of school before winter recess.

The snow been fluttering in the sky all day. The students whine and cry about going home but the ground barely was covered with snow like they imagine to.

After school, Alvin Junior waited patiently in the music room. It may seem like he's relaxed but the teen was shitting bricks. Nervousness consuming him.

He stuffed the letter in her locker yesterday. Specifying to meet him at the music room at this very day and time. And mentioned, nicely to come alone.

Watching the time go by added pressure in the air. He felt sick in the stomach.

What if she didn't read it? Or that the letter slipped out the locker to the floor, that the janitor swept it up? She probably read it and decided to crumble up, tossing it in the trash like she never received it. Maybe she got nervous and went straight home. So many out comes ran through his head he had trouble breathing.

He lifted his hands, placing them over the piano keys. His fingers jammed the keys, stretching his fingers across. The sound from the piano echoed the room. Playing a practice song kept him distracted that he didn't noticed the door opening and closing.

The teen that came in the room nervously walked behind AJ. Watching him sway into the music. Taking a seat next to AJ, surprised him. He stopped playing.

AJ's brown eyes brightened but immediately dulled. He would be frowning in disappointment, but his face pulled off a worry expression.

"What are you doing here Tenn?" He asked the tall teen. Tennessee a couple of inches taller than AJ, even when sitting right beside him.

AJ looked around the room to see if anyone else is around. To see if she came alone with Tennessee. No sign of Becca at all.

The boy looked back at Tennessee.

"Tenn? Where's-"

"Can we... talk for a bit?" He asked. Fiddling with his fingers. Does it all the time whenever he's nervous.

"Um...Sure." AJ grunted. Holding in every mix emotion inside his gut.

"Before we met, I had a hard time making friends. Everyone always bullied me because I had a tough time opening up to people. When you came to Ericson, I admire your... Energic and optimistic attitude. Always bringing smiles on others faces."

AJ tilted his head a bit. Confused. No idea why Tennessee bring this up. Either way, AJ sat there quietly, letting his best friend speak his mind. AJ always tell him he's all ears whenever Tennessee need to talk about anything. Knowing how timid he is, AJ respect Tennessee.

"The first day we had gym, I thought no one didn't want to play with me but you chose me to be in your team. I was very happy. Since then, you never left my side."

"Of course, dude. You sat alone at the corner. And I thought... you can use a friend. Freshman year is hard, especially since Ericson High isn't an ordinary public school. New faces and other baggage that comes with it." AJ said to Tennessee with a small smile. Tennessee smiled back.

"Yeah. I'm glad we met."

"Same. Playing ball, video games, and going to the arcade is fun." AJ said. He started playing with the keys with one hand. Tennessee sat there watching AJ playing a song.

"How long you been playing?"

"Since October."

"Cool. You can play just like Louis." Tennessee chuckled. AJ let out a quick laugh.

"Louis taught me. Maybe his talent rubbed off on me." AJ shrugged.

"What? You never told me you were getting piano lessons from him."

"Well, it was a surprise for someone..." AJ's voice lowered. His fingers slowed down the pace, playing a gentler tune with his left hand. The song sounded off because it requires two hands.

"Oh... AJ..."

"Hm?"

AJ turned his head to face Tennessee. The off-tune music was loud and clear, then trailed off from soft to silent. His hand flattened on top of the surface.

He lost every thought in his mind, the oxygen in his lungs, blinded by what he was witnessing, and frozen still.

One thing that clicked to him when Tennessee left him in the room is that...

Tennessee kissed him.

Did...Did Tennessee...KISSED HIM ON THE LIPS!?

When can AJ start freaking out because his blood pressure dropped, and he was losing his mind.
