Jay was determined to find the woman she'd seen. Glen had gotten no glimpse of her through the trees but Jay often saw things that the others didn't. They stayed at the cove well into twilight. Jay growled under her breath as she stretched in her seat.

"I'm starting to wonder if she's ever coming back." Cooper griped from the back seat. Despite everything he still did not trust Jay very much. She cracked her knuckles and sighed.

"I'll be back in a few minutes." Before they could ask what she was doing her door slammed shut and she vanished into the gathering dark. Kevin squinted out the windshield for a few minutes.

"There!" He said quickly going for his door. He was right, there was a figure in a cloak making her way towards the tree that had been marked 'Max plus Verdona'. Kevin, Cooper and Glen hopped out of the car. Kevin called out to the figure, who paused.

"Who are you? What are you doing here?" Kevin asked and a laugh low but musical sounded from the figure as she turned her hood falling. If Kevin didn't know better he'd say she was Glen's sister. They had the same red hair, the same blue eyes, eyes that looked older than they should for a face so young. Her age was almost impossible to tell, It was the eyes that confused everything, eyes that looked like they had seen millennium upon millennium. If one could look past that she might not be older than twenty or so.

"What I do is no ones business but mine." She stated, flicking a hand at them. A wave of power followed her hand knocking all three of them back. Cooper stumbled but Kevin kept his feet spinning the dial on the Omnitrix he transformed and took off into the air after the woman who had walked away from them towards the tree. Glen raced after him, a bottle in hand. He threw it into the woman's path and vines sprouted striking out at her but she raised a hand and they wilted away to nothing. She did turn to glance at Glen though a curious look on her face.

"Who are you?" Glen demanded only to be knocked fully off his feet, into the water of the cove. The woman looked a little disappointed as Kevin, still Jetray, circled around and blasted out at the woman only to have it deflected back at him sending him reeling, falling into the lake on top of Glen, transforming back into himself. Cooper rushed forward only to be knocked back to the ground.

"You know this little planet would be a much nicer place without busybodies like you getting in my way." She said pointing at Glen and Kevin with her hand. Kevin saw movement in the woods behind her and grinned at the woman.

"Take your best shot." Mischief glimmered in her eyes as light blasted out from her hand. A bubble of deep pink appeared at the last second protecting them from the blast of bright pink. The woman blinked spinning around to face Jay as she walked out of the woods.

"I can't leave you three alone for five fucking minutes."

"Do that again!" The woman demanded, a grin breaking over her face.

"Oh gladly." Light bloomed in Jay's hands a ball of power shooting out from between her palms, sending the woman skidding slightly, though the majority of the blow was absorbed by the woman's outstretched hand. She stared at Jay.

"Incredible!" She exclaimed grinning like a mad woman. Jay though had no patience for her.

"My friends here asked you a question. I'm going to ask you one more time. Who are you, and why are you littering my Grandpa's cove with your flowers?" Jay bit out. The woman blinked.

"Max Tennyson was your grandfather?" She asked her voice faltering slightly. Jay nodded still on guard, though the woman had dropped hers entirely. She smiled wide and pulled Jay into a hug which seemed to catch her completely off guard. "Kiddo!" Glen and Kevin pulled themselves to their feet, Cooper rushing to help them up. Glen rubbed his head.

"He was my grandpa too." Glen griped, rubbing his head. The woman turned to him.

"Can you shoot energy blasts like your sister?" She asked, he frowned.

"Cousin and I'm working on it." She squealed with joy and pulled Glen into a hug too releasing the shocked looking Jay. Kevin thought he spotted her hands make an aborted move to stop the woman from pulling away. The redhead grinned at both cousins. Jay seemed to come back to herself, a gleam of annoyance if not anger in her eyes.

"Who the hell are you!" She demanded again and the woman turned back to her. She frowned finally noticing the cracks in Jay's face, the deep purple skin beyond them. She cupped Jay's face in her hands, a frown pulling at her lips.

"Oh sweetness what happened to you?" The woman asked softly and Jay smacked her hands away.

"I asked you a fucking question." Jay practically growled it. The woman's frown deepened.

"I suppose it makes sense you wouldn't recognize your grandma after all this time. Besides I wasn't exactly wearing this face last time we met." She said a melancholy smile crossing her face. All four teens blinked at her. She took a step back. "We'll talk more later kiddos." She said smiling one more time before vanishing. Jay glanced back at the tree.

"I told you Grandma was an alien." Jay said her voice shaking lightly as she looked back over at Glen.

"What that absolute fuck!" Glen said, he too was shaking. "Why did no one ever tell me?" He demanded, mostly to no one. No one here had really known. Jay had narrowed down the necessary answers from the information she had gathered. There was no way their parents didn't know. It was hard to keep a secret like that from children. Devin had made no secret of his alien heritage to Kevin, though Cooper had no idea where his powers came from Glen stomped over to the car.

"I need to talk to my dad." Glen demanded as the others made their way back to the car. Jay hesitated but slipped into the drivers seat without a word. They pulled up to his house but Jay made no move to get out of the car. Glen leaned forward in his seat pulling a piece of paper out of his pocket and handing it to his cousin.

"They never stopped looking you know." He said as Jay unfolded the missing poster, a recreation of her own face staring up at her.
