I had to admit, my brain was still trying to understand exactly what had occurred. Of all the things I had expected, finally finding the woman who was my long lost cousin hadn't even been close to being on my list. Today had been filled with unexpected, though mostly pleasant events, and for more reasons than merely personal ones. I had heard Jack complain about Lilith for long enough to know that she was one of the few that Jack saw as a true threat, as he should. After all, she and I had been the only ones to leave lasting injuries on him. Add to that Athena's reappearance and joining forces with us and I had reason to smile. I also had to reluctantly admit that Roland had certainly achieved his own goal. With Lilith clearly a Raider, there was no way I was going to leave the last member of my family unprotected, despite the fact that she probably didn't need my protection. Like it or not, my path was now tied directly to the Raiders. But in all honesty, I couldn't find myself unhappy about that particular fact with what I knew now.
Lilith withdrew somewhat and looked around her command centre. "If Roland's in trouble, then I need to get to Sanctuary. The Raiders are going to need some leadership."
I nodded. "Agreed. What needs to be done here before we go?"
Lilith looked thoughtful. "Pretty well everything I need, I can load into my storage unit. After that, I just have to lock down the defences on the base so that no one else tries to steal it for themselves. Shouldn't take too long to get done."
I nodded, standing back and letting her work. My brain was still running swiftly, putting things into place. Deliberately, I tried not to focus on the personal side right now. I hadn't forgotten that Lilith was one of those that had tried to blow up Helios, but now wasn't the time or place for that discussion. There was still the issue of the fact that we basically didn't know each other at all, but that was a problem that only time could solve. But I could count on the fact that her hatred for Jack ran as deep as my own. That gave me a place to start.
Of greater concern for me, however, was the fact that Lilith reacted so badly to Athena. Lilith and Roland might have been fighting Jack for longer, but I knew him far better. Even without personally entering the battle, Jack had more than enough resources and power to bury the Raiders, despite their experience. The only way that the Raiders were going to prevail against him was with as many allies as they could find and as much firepower as they could get. I knew Athena was about as dangerous a fighter as we were ever going to find and I didn't doubt that she had her own contacts. Having Lilith practically at war with her wasn't going to help any of us. It was a fair bet that the Raiders would have history with others that could be allies (for some reason, Angel sprang to mind), so it was fair to say that interesting times were ahead.
True to her word, Lilith finished quickly and turned back to me. "So, back to Sanctuary then?" She asked lightly.
I nodded. "If things are as bad as the others said, they'll need you there ASAP. I'll get you there, then chase after the others. Hopefully I should be able to catch them fairly quickly."
She looked coolly at me. "You know I can protect myself, right?" She asked.
"I know. I also know that it only takes one shot to slip past your defences to kill you." I pointed out. "And after my own scare, I'm less keen on taking risks than normal."
She shook her head, before jumping lightly over a gap towards a path I hadn't seen. Sighing, I followed, though nowhere near as gracefully. She kept talking as we moved. "Can I ask you something? Can you tell me about them?"
I didn't need to be a mind reader to know what she wanted, but it didn't actually bother me. So, for the trip back, except for the various firefights we got into, I talked about our family. How Dad was softly spoken until his anger was aroused. Mum's capacity for infinite love and her fierce defence of her family when she decided something was a threat. Little Jess's love for pranks and troublemaking, but always ready to stand up for what she believed in.
Lilith listened quietly, only occasionally asking questions. Finally, as we neared the gates of Sanctuary, I finished, drained by the emotional day. Lilith smiled in understanding as we walked past Davis and Jessup, moving towards Scooter's workshop. Scooter was about as vocal as could be expected at seeing Lilith.
"Lilith! Damn, it's good to see ya! Things just haven't been the same 'round here, ya know? See Jason managed to findja. Hope you can help sort this mess out, we really need to find Roland. Plan B didn't work out real well."
I raised an eyebrow. "Plan B?"
Lilith elaborated, "Sanctuary was built on an old Dahl mining ship. Theory was we'd be harder to hit in the air."
I nodded. "Good plan."
Lilith looked at me seriously. "Now, I know you need to get out to meet the others, but you're no use to them if you're not at full strength. Athena might have patched you up, but you need to get checked out by Zed before you go. Go and see Marcus too, he'll probably have some gear for you. Tell them I sent you." I didn't miss Lilith's hesitation at Athena's name.
"Yeah, that reminds me, man. Ma told me that if ya showed up again, ya had to go see her. Said she had a place for you to stay and a few things she'd been hanging on to for you."
Reluctantly, I agreed. As keen as I was to catch up with the others, I knew that a small amount of rest and healing was practically a necessity right now. Lilith left me with a final comment.
"Come see me before you go, cousin."
That brought a smile to my face. "Count on it."
As I walked away, I could hear Scooter's incredulous "Cousin?"
Accepting the inevitable, I headed first for Dr Zed's clinic. Hopefully, I could get in and out quickly; I didn't care much for the medical profession, regardless of their importance in my line of work. I had to admit, seeing the blood splattered around the room didn't fill me with a lot of confidence. Still, I assumed that there weren't going to be any problems.
A tall figure, wearing a blood-stained coat turned around and looked at me. "Don't recall seeing you around before, son. Who are you?"
DR ZED AS
THE MEDIC
Handy with a knife, both surgical and combat
"Name's Jason. I'm assuming you're Dr Zed. Lilith sent me."
Zed raised an eyebrow. "So, you've met Lilith, then?"
I nodded. "She's here, in the city. Planning to help out while Roland's missing."
"Hmm." Zed was silent for a moment. "You don't look like you're lying and I do know Roland's missing and Lilith's not dead. What brings you here then?
I shrugged, wincing slightly at the hasty movement. "I took a bit of a beating getting to Lilith. I got some first aid in the field, but she suggested that I might want to get a bit of a check-up done on them.
He chuckled, gesturing me over. "Good to see she still has some sense. Vault Hunters aren't known for taking things easy. I assume you're one of the new Hunters that just arrived."
I was going to deny being a Vault Hunter, but decided on reflection, it was probably as good a description as any. Certainly, it was likely to go down better than introducing myself as an ex-Hyperion.
"I guess you could say that. Ended up with the others more or less by chance. Pretty good group, though. Good bunch to have at your back when the chips are down."
He snorted as he checked Athena's handiwork. "That tends to be the case for most Vault Hunters. Not a group you want to try and split up." He nodded briefly and stepped back. "Well, whoever patched you up did a damn good job of it. That should be enough to help. They must have soaked these bandages in Insta-Heal; pretty good idea, that. Need to remember that one. Come see me again in the morning, I should be able to take these off for good. Now, get out of here. No charge this time around."
Encouraged by his attitude, I left the clinic feeling more encouraged by the good doctor's skills than when I had entered it. Thankfully, Marcus's store was as well sign-posted as Dr Zed's clinic, so I lost little time in heading there. Within minutes, I arrived, in time to hear a gunshot and a scream of pain. As I entered, I saw a man lying on the floor, clenching his knee. Another, rather obese one, stood behind a counter, smoking pistol in hand. "Looks like it works to me."
MARCUS AS
THE ARMS DEALER
He's all heart, as long as you pay his price.
I snorted. "Same old Marcus. You haven't changed a bit."
Marcus's gaze snapped up and met my own. "Jason. Heard you were around. Didn't believe it. Didn't think you'd be stupid enough to come back."
Marcus and I had had a somewhat chequered history. I'd known him somewhat through Moxxi, his ex-wife (not that he was the only one who could call her that). Both of us had a grudging respect for the other, but there was certainly no real friendship between us.
I shrugged. "Times change. Got a reason to stick around rather than try and kerb-stomp Jack on my own. But I know you're not interested in chit-chat, there's no profit in it for you."
He snorted. "Well, at least you remember that much. So, what are you here for then?"
"Lilith sent me. Said you'd probably have something I'd be interested in."
Marcus's eyebrow lifted a touch. "Lilith, huh? Yeah, she sent a message to that effect. I think I might have a thing or two that'll catch your eye." Reaching behind him, he pulled out a well-made sniper rifle. "Jakobs with a decent scope. 8 round magazine, maxed for damage. Prototype mag, long as you load them up first, they're as fast to change as a boxed magazine in anything else." Beside it, he laid a matching shotgun. "Similar style with this beauty. Bigger than standard mag size and better damage capability. I reckon that these both have some upgrade capability left in them, too."
I nodded. "I'll admit, they do look the part. Simple, practical and deadly. Alright, how much?"
He shrugged. "10 grand for the pair."
I raised an eyebrow. $10,000 was expensive for a pair of weapons, even with what he had mentioned. "Pretty steep price there, Marcus."
"You know how hard it was to track those down? These are limited run weapons, you can't just find them in a bullymong pile. I doubt you'd find them anywhere else on the planet."
I considered that. They were fairly powerful weapons and I could believe they weren't common. "What kind of upgrades do you think I can do with them?"
"Definitely damage, if you can get the right parts. I don't think you'll be able to do much with the reload, but that's already a step ahead of anything else Jakobs has. Might be able to improve the scope though."
"I'll take them, on one condition. Anything else good comes into your hands, the Vault Hunters and I get first shot at whatever you find. Given we're going to be doing a lot of the grunt work against Hyperion, it makes sense. And you don't mark things up as horrendously. I know you're overcharging on this and I'm pretty sure you don't want Jack to win."
Marcus didn't exactly look happy, but he rarely did. "Steep price you're asking there."
I shrugged. "Not like you aren't going to get value out of us in the long run."
He chuckled. "I can't argue that one. Deal." With a tap on my ECHO, I transferred much of my available cash across to Marcus, before picking up first the shotgun, then the sniper rifle. I had to admit, I did like the way they were balanced. The craftsmanship was incredible, even for Jakobs.
"Thanks Marcus. Appreciate this."
The grunt from Marcus was about all the acknowledgement that I expected to get from him as I left. While I had to see Lilith soon, I knew that Moxxi would gut me if I didn't go see her. Retracing my steps, I walked back into the noisy bar. Moxxi spotted me immediately and waved me towards the back room, whispering into the ear of one of her bartenders before following me through.
"Can I assume you're sticking around, now?" She asked without preamble, her usual flirty tone absent.
I nodded. "I think I'd better. I don't want to have the Crimson Raiders, as well as Hyperion, on my arse. Plus, I've got a pretty good reason to stick around now."
Moxxi raised an eyebrow. "Oh?" She asked, her voice returning to normal.
I hesitated, not sure how much I should say. Then I remembered that Lilith had called me cousin in front of Scooter. "Let's just say I have a long lost family member here now."
Moxxi was many things, but you could never accuse her of being stupid. She was at least partially aware of why my family had been on Pandora and she could put two and two together. Her smile was small but genuine. "I'm happy for you, Jason. It's about time something worked out for you."
I snorted. "You don't need to tell me. I'd almost forgotten what hope felt like."
"I'm guessing that's part of why you never stayed in touch. Living for anger and revenge, you know how corrosive that is."
I winced, rubbing my recent wounds. "Yeah, that doesn't help, no matter what anybody says. Having something, someone to fight for. It makes a big difference."
"Of course it does, sweetheart. But you are staying around, right?"
"Yeah. Be good to have a home base. Still, imagine that everyone's going to be keeping me busy. Especially if we can get Roland back."
Anger crossed Moxxi's face for a second. "Yeah. Find it hard to believe that the Bloodshots would be able to ambush him, but I suppose everyone has off days." Her expression smoothed out. "If you're staying, then I have a couple of rooms upstairs you can use. I managed to retrieve some of the ECHO and computing gear from the Underdome. Not exactly Hyperion standard, but I imagine you'd like somewhere to set up, in case you need to do some hacking with something that needs more processing power than a handheld ECHO unit. Bedroom as well, even you need to rest."
I grinned. "Moxxi, that sounds great. I didn't want to have to borrow the Raiders' gear every time I had to do some work." The whole time I had been on the run, I hadn't been able to set up a permanent location to work, either having to hack on the move or break into a facility to get anything done. A safe house sounded ideal and would make my life a lot easier.
She grinned and beckoned me after her. "Let me show you around." Following her upstairs, I walked into what was essentially a miniature command centre. She chuckled at my dropped jaw. "I used this to coordinate some of my various enterprises, but right now, I don't need it and you do."
I nodded, barely able to blink at what I saw. The amount of communications and processing power in front of me, while it didn't quite match what I used to possess on Hyperion, was virtually a quantum leap above what I currently had. The possibilities of what I could achieve with what was in front of me made my mind spin. "Moxxi, I could kiss you." I said almost reverently.
She laughed. "Promises, promises. Just don't spend all your time here, ok?"
Blinking, I focussed my attention away from the gold mine in front of me and back on the beautiful woman that had given me access to it. "I think I have enough self-control to do that." Striding across the room, I opened the opposite door, spotted the bed and nodded, closing the door behind me. This time, I pulled Moxxi into a hug. "Thanks Moxxi." I grinned. Pulling away, I smiled at her. "You have a pretty good idea how much I appreciate this, right?"
"Oh believe me, I do." She grinned back.
"Good. Anyway, I better not keep you and I need to see Lilith tonight as well."
"Then, I'll see you later, sugar."
With a glance back at the game-changing equipment behind me, I followed her back down to the bar, nodding to Hammerlock as I slipped out the door. Assuming that Lilith would be at the Raiders command centre, I made my way towards it, slipping through the door and making my way upstairs, finding Lilith leaning on the central table. I snorted slightly as I walked up.
"It's been that kind of a day, huh?" I asked.
She chuckled lightly. "Yeah, you might say that. Not exactly what I expected when I woke up this morning, I have to say. Roland missing isn't helping matters either."
I grimaced. "Well, at least he's still likely to be alive. Though we'll have to move fast if we're going to keep him that way."
"Yeah." She snarled. "Jack will be very interested to get him, there's no doubt about that. Question is, would he just pay the bounty, or steal him out from the Bloodshots?"
I chuckled grimly. "Jack keeping his word? Not likely. He'd save his money and grab Roland. Capture one of his biggest enemies and wipe out a group of bandits at the same time? Win-win for him. Ironically, it's the best situation for us too, since that will take time."
"Agreed, though it's hard to think of that as a positive. Anything you can think of to give us an advantage?"
I considered the question carefully. "Do we know where the rest of the Vault Hunters are, right now?"
"Just heard from them." Lilith replied. "They have to divert to Ellie's shop out in the Dust, they have to get a Bloodshot technical so that they can get in through the gate. Going to take them a few hours to get that sorted, since they haven't been to the Dust before. At least, they'd be able to get back quicker, once they have the fast travel codes."
"Honestly, I'd stay away from the fast travel network anyway. Who knows what surprises Jack has set up within it?"
Lilith paled, clearly not having considered that aspect. "That's going to make our life complicated if we can't use it."
"I know. I'll have to see if I can come up with a work-around or at least secure some of the network."
She looked at me. "You can do that?"
I shrugged. "I'm at least familiar with the system and how Jack programs. It might be possible. No promises, though."
"Hey, I'll take it over the alternative." She touched a set of keys, bringing up a view of the Bloodshot Dam. "Anyway, we don't have a lot of details on what's inside the Dam, but I can give you a rough layout. It's going to be crawling with bandits, though."
I grinned. "The Vault Hunters on their own would be enough to deal with them, I think. Add Athena, and myself if I get there fast enough, they won't last long once we're inside." I frowned. "Which Jack probably knows. He knows we wouldn't leave Roland in Bloodshot hands. He'll be expecting us to show up at some point. He'd time his assault for when we're close to Roland. Try and find a balance between securing Roland and making sure everyone else is either dead or run down."
Lilith grimaced. "Sounds like him. Presumably, he can track them to be able to work out the timing."
"At the moment, yes. And I doubt I'll have time to cancel that out before they reach the dam." I considered that for a moment. "Though I might be able to deal with his ability to track me before then. If he thinks I'm still here, then he might not be expecting me."
"Use every advantage we can get. I like it." Lilith approved, before grimacing. "Of course, we do have something else up our sleeve that Jack wouldn't be expecting."
I nodded, understanding where Lilith was going. "Athena. Yeah, I doubt Jack would see her coming. If only we could sneak a team onto Helios, we could have a good shot at taking Jack out." Lilith's own bad mood had passed onto me somewhat, as I remembered Athena's account of the Elpis disaster. Clearly, Lilith had picked up on that, as she raised an eyebrow.
"Something bothering you?" She asked.
"Not related to this. It can wait until we get Roland back." I deflected. Right now, I was definitely not prepared to deal with everything I had learned. I sighed. "Doctor Z wants to see me again in the morning, so I'm going to crash now. I'll catch you before I head out." As I walked out, I reflected that I was probably ruder and blunter than I really wanted to be right then, but tired, healing and emotional rollercoasters were not exactly good for one's health, and I'd been through all three. I needed to get away from people before things turned bad.
I barely remember staggering back to Moxxi's and upstairs to the new room, nor crashing out on the bed, but when I crawled back to wakefulness, it was clearly just after sunrise. Cleaning up, I moved back through the doorway and sat down in front of the console for the computer gear I now had available. Slowly, my brain began to fire and I realised that with what was in front of me, I could get a variety of things that I had been waiting for done. Uploading a set of files and processes from my ECHO, I set to work.
It might have taken a few hours, but as I walked downstairs, I was a great deal happier with where I was placed than I had been when I started. One of the first things I'd done was get in touch with one of my own contacts I'd acquired during my time on Pandora. Felix was certainly a shady character, but I didn't doubt his ability to source items that were rather tricky to find. Getting a replacement for the ECHO that had been trashed in the train explosion wouldn't be easy, but I knew Felix was the man for the job, given his past record. A number of other items that might come in useful were added to my list before I sent it off, with a request for rapid acquisition. No doubt I'd have to go and meet him to collect the goods, but he'd come through in short order, I had no concerns on that score.
After that, I made sure to locate, isolate and neutralise the various worms and programs that Jack was using to track me, with the added benefit of adding a monitoring system to warn me of any future attempts on that count. Jack and I were probably the two best people around Pandora for virus and anti-virus efforts right now, with the exception of Angel. I didn't doubt that Angel would still have her own ways of locating and tracking me, but I was confident I could work around that in the long run, if it was required. If Jack relied on that and thought I was naive enough to simply trust Angel, that was his problem.
To be fair, I did trust Angel, to a degree. But I couldn't be sure when Jack was or wasn't monitoring her, so I knew better than to trust her completely, even without my uncertainty of her own motives. I also began coming up with a more broad-spectrum system that wasn't personalised for my own equipment, so I could begin shutting Jack and Hyperion out of the Crimson Raiders and the Vault Hunter's own systems. Regardless of anything else, I had family here now, and I sure as hell wasn't leaving them unprotected against those style of attacks. I doubted they had anyone savvy or experienced enough to stop any serious hacking attempts.
I considered contacting Gaige and the others directly, but decided against it. Even with the chip upgrades I'd given them, I didn't trust the encryption not to be broken by Jack and I didn't want to give him any warning.
Finally, I pulled out the ECHO modulator I'd acquired. It was still going to be a work in progress for some time, but I could use its added power and capabilities to expand both the time and radius of the Trojan Horse. However, it gave me another possibility that I rather liked the look of. It would be clumsy for now, but I could adapt my sais to be able to interact with Hyperion loaders and briefly take them over, without any additional input from me. Like the Trojan Horse itself, it wouldn't last long, and having to physically stab them would be an annoyance, but being able to cut them off from Hyperion's control would be worthwhile. After all, I didn't doubt that I was about to run into them again.
Moxxi wasn't there when I stepped into the bar, but I got a friendly wave from Hammerlock. Walking over to him, I smiled slightly.
"Good to see you here, Jason." He greeted me jovially. "So, you obviously managed to work things out with everyone."
I shrugged. "It's a work in progress but we have to start somewhere. No more guns pointing at each other, so that's a good start."
"Jolly good show. Better keeping weapons aimed at Jack, I should think." Hammerlock laughed.
"No arguments from me there. Sorry I haven't seen you before, but it's been a busy time, as you might have guessed."
"Oh, indeed. Roland's absence has everyone on edge. I assume the other Vault Hunters are out finding him?"
I nodded. "I believe so." Glancing around and finding no one with earshot, I lowered my voice. "I'm going to be heading out to join them soon, but I'd appreciate it if you kept that under your hat. I'm hoping I've given Jack the slip for now."
"Of course, old boy." He patted my shoulder. "Mum's the word, eh." Raising his voice once more as we moved away slightly, he continued, "So, planning to stay around for a while, hey?"
I silently applauded his ability to shift between topics as I replied. "For now at least. It's nice to have a safe place to work from and I can do a lot from here. Anyway, got a lot to do, so I won't hold you up."
"Righty-o, dear chap. I'll see you around, no doubt." With a nod to each other, we parted, Hammerlock wandering to the bar as I strode outside, heading straight for Doctor Zed's. Thankfully, he was free and expecting me. Looking over my injuries, he pronounced them healed sufficiently for combat and was happy to wave me on my way, though he did show me some superior shields to what I was carrying. Happy to escape, I obliged him by buying one, with superior strength and regen to what I had equipped, with the added bonus of collecting ammo for me as I was attacked.
Emerging back into the Pandoran sunlight, I headed for the command centre. Slipping through the door, I was about to move upstairs when a voice interrupted me.
"You know, it IS quite rude to keep walking in and out without saying hello." An unfamiliar female voice commented.
Turning, I raised an eyebrow at the individual in front of me. Brown hair, googles on her head and arms crossed, an irate figure glared at me, one who I recognised from pictures, though I had never met in person.
DR PATRICIA TANNIS AS
THE MAD SCIENTIST
Sanity. Genius. Two sides of the same coin.
I smiled and bowed slightly, somewhat deliberately playing it up. "My apologies, Dr Tannis. I simply presumed, from what I had heard, that you preferred to remain undisturbed."
"It is rather hard for that when you continue to keep storming through my door like a Rakk Hive." She replied cuttingly.
I shrugged. "Fair, but unfortunately, people do need to come in and out of here on a regular basis. Is there something you wish to discuss, or are we both permitted to return to our highly important tasks?"
"I find it difficult to believe that anything you could be doing could be considered as highly important compared to what I am working on." She sniffed.
I managed to control my temper as I bowed slightly again. "Of course, Doctor. You are entitled to your opinion on that count, just as I am entitled to my own. Good day to you."
As I walked away, I conceded that I might have been somewhat rude, but I had dealt with her self-entitled type before and my patience for it had never been high. In any case, I did have a rescue mission to join.
Lilith raised an eyebrow as I walked in. "So, you've finally met the delightful Doctor." She commented.
"Indeed, though I find my appreciation of her charms somewhat lacking." I replied.
Lilith frowned slightly. "She's had a tough run, Jason. Be nice. Jack tortured her personally to get the Vault Key."
I raised an eyebrow. "She seems to have quite a history with that key. I'm surprised you all let her keep it."
Lilith shrugged. "Seemed like a good idea at the time and she paid well for it. Didn't seem like it was of any use to us."
"Benefits of hindsight, I guess. How did she get away from Jack?" I asked.
Lilith looked thoughtful. "You know, I'm not entirely sure about that. Jack and Wilhelm apparently let her go."
I raised an eyebrow. "Jack let her go? That's a bit out of character for him."
"Yeah." Lilith was clearly deep in thought now. "It does seem a bit strange, doesn't it?"
I sighed. "Add it to the list of things to consider?"
"It's getting to be a long list." She commented. Walking over to the main console, she brought up a map of the surrounding area. "Anyway, good news and bad news. Bad news is that the other Vault Hunters had to track down a Bloodshot technical before they could get into the dam. Had to detour to Ellie's shop out in The Dust."
"That will have slowed them down a lot." I sighed. "Good news then, presumably, is that they won't be that far ahead of me."
"Nope. I just got a call from them, no issues, they've got back and started their attack. I doubt they're more than an hour ahead of you. You'll catch up to them within the dam."
"Something working out. Hope this is the start of a new trend." I chuckled. "Anything else I need to worry about?"
"Yes. Be careful. If we're right and Hyperion shows up like we think, then this will get tricky fast. We can't afford to lose Roland. Or any of you."
I smiled back at her. "We won't. But be careful yourself. Jack might use our focus on Roland as a distraction and come for Sanctuary."
"I will, cousin." She held my gaze firmly. "Now, go. Kick some ass."
"Of course, cousin. That is what we do."
(Author's Note)
Well, it's been a long time for this story, hasn't it? But at long last, I'm back with a new chapter. World's changed a lot since then, between COVID and the Ukraine war, but hopefully, we can find a way through it all. Hopefully all of you are staying safe in these troubled times.
Now, I'm sure that there's a few questions about how this chapter went down and how things will go from here. I'm not one to give spoilers away but those of you that know me are probably aware that I do have a bad habit of leaving things on cliff-hangers. All I can say is things are about to heat up dramatically and there are going to be a lot of things and people that you might not expect to see here yet, or at all, coming up in the near future. I'll try not to take so long to update this next time.
Now reviews:
Slglenn3232, I'll do my best, sorry this has taken so long.
Aregulargamer1, I'm glad you like it and sorry this has taken so long. I will be shipping Jason with someone eventually, but it will take time and won't be Gaige, I'm afraid. Though I will say that Gaige and Jason are going to have a close friendship and shae a lot of tech tricks between them.
Ok everyone, please read, review, favourite and follow, it makes things much more rewarding to get some feedback. Stay safe out there.
Until next time.
