"You lied to me." Draco whispered in her ear from behind her in the Entrance Hall the next morning.

A smirk made its way onto her face; "I don't know what you're talking about." she said, continuing to look ahead of her.

"You know exactly what I'm talking about." he replied.

"Enlighten me." she said.

"You said Snape's essay was due for today. It's Saturday." he growled.

"Oh, is it?" she said, turning to look at him with the most innocent look on her face. "Why I had no idea."

"You're a little witch, you know that." he said.

"Well, I don't carry this for no reason." she chuckled, twirling her wand in between her fingers.

"Well, thanks to you I was up nearly all night re-writing my essay and it's not even due until Monday."

"Aw shut up." she laughed. "I did you a favour, now you can enjoy your weekend."

He screwed his face up at her and she poked him in the stomach with her wand; "You're welcome."

She turned on her heel and walked into the Great Hall, leaving him standing in the Entrance Hall staring after her. It was the day of the Gryffindor versus Ravenclaw match and Harry's new broom was the talk of the Great Hall. When Bella sat down across from Harry, Percy's girlfriend Penelope was carefully turning the broom around in her hands.

"We've got a bet on, you see." Percy was telling everyone. "Ten Galleons."

Penelope put the broom back down on the table and returned to her own, beckoning Percy to join her.

"Make sure you win, Harry -" he said urgently. "I don't have ten Galleons!"

"Yes, yes, Penny - I'm coming." he called, looking back with a gulp before hurrying over to the Ravenclaw table.

"Sure you can manage that broom, Potter?" Draco drawled as he appeared over Bella's shoulder.

"Yeah, reckon so." Harry said casually.

"Got plenty of special features, doesn't it." Draco said, his eyes glittering in jealousy before he schoold his features to a look of indifference again. "Shame it doesn't come with a parachute - incase you run into another Dementor."

"Pity you can't attatch an extra arm to yours, Malfoy." Harry said, smirking. "Then it could catch the Snitch for you."

The entire Gryffindor team roared with laughter. Bella laughed too and when she seen Draco's face of fury she laughed even harder.

"He got you there." she said, wiping tears of laughter from her face.

Draco glared at Harry then stalked off back to the Slytherin table. They watched as he joined the Slytherin team who crowded him as soon as he arrived. At quarter to eleven, Bella followed after Ron and the others as they joined the throng of students on their way to the Quidditch Pitch. They left Harry and the rest of the team by the changing rooms and battled their way up the stairs to the stands. The Gryffindor section roared with applause as the team flew out onto the pitch.

As soon as the match began, Harry tore off down the pitch, leaving Ravenclaw seeker, Cho Chang, in the lurch behind him. She caught up to him and followed closely behind him as he flew in circles around the pitch; then he spotted it. He dived; Cho saw and shot after him. Out of nowhere, a Bludger, fired from one of the Ravenclaw Beaters, whirrled past Harry, causing him to pull back quickly.

"What is he doing?" Ron asked, leaning over the barrier for a better look.

"Chang is following him." Bella said. "Look, up there."

She pointed up above the other players and right enough, Cho was tailing Harry. Harry seemed to have noticed this as, again, he dived. Cho dived too and half-way to the ground, Harry pulled back up, soaring higher into the sky.

"He knows." Freya said.

"He's trying to shake her off." Hermione added.

"Do you think she'll leave him alone?" Emily asked.

"Hardly likely." Bella replied. "Following after him is the best shot she's got to catch the Snitch before he does."

By now Ravenclaw were only fifty points behind and Bella could feel the tension in Harry from the stands. Harry was looking around frantically for the Snitch and he shot off into the sky again, arm outstretched, the Snitch in his sights. Then, Cho screamed.

Bella leant as far over the barrier as she could and blanched as she spotted what Cho had seen. Three Dementors on the grounds staring up at Harry. Bella pulled herself back over the barrier.

"Harry!" she yelled, hoping that he could hear her from the height he was at.

Bella fumbled to get her wand from her pocket just as Harry yanked his from inside his robes.

"Expecto Patronum!" They yelled in unison.

Instead of an indiscernible mist, an enormus stag Patronus shot from the end of Harry's wand right for the Dementors. Bella's tiger Patronus leapt from the end of her wand, heading straight for the ground. Bella leant over the barriers again but saw nothing through the bright light of their Patronus'. Madam Hooch's whistle rang out and Bella's head shot up to see Harry engulfed by the Gryffindor team.

"We won!" Ron cried, shaking her arm.

"Come on, let's go!" Freya said, pulling Bella away from the railings and down the stairs.

Ron ran ahead and enveloped Harry in a huge bear hug.

"Well done, Harry!" Bella cried, shaking his shoulder.

"That was quite some Patronus, from both of you." Professor Lupin said from behind Harry.

"The Dementors didn't affect me at all!" Harry beamed.

"Me either!" Bella added.

"That would be because they - er - weren't Dementors." Professor Lupin said. "Come and see."

Bella and Harry followed after him out of the huge crowd until they could see the edge of the pitch.

"You gave Mr Malfoy quite a fright." he said.

"No -" Bella gasped, turning to where Professor Lupin was looking.

In a crumpled heap on the ground lay Draco, Crabbe, Goyle and Marcus Flint, the Slytherin Quidditch Captain, strugglign to remove themselves from a tangle of long black robes. Standing over them with a look of utter fury on her face was Professor McGonagall.

"How dare you!" she yelled. "A low and cowardly attempt to sabotage the Gryffindor Seeker! Detention for all of you, and fifty points from Slytherin! I shall be speaking to Professor Dumbledore about this, make no mistake. Ah, here he comes now!"

"I'll kill him." Bella seethed as she stood beside Harry.

"He's not worth it, we won!" Harry said.

"Know what, I will kill him." she said, completely ignoring Harry.

She set off running across the pitch, Harry and Professor Lupin rushing after her.

Bella kept running, right past Professors McGonagall and Dumbledore and launching herself at Draco as he pulled himself from the cloak.

"How could you?!" she yelled, pummeling his chest with her fists.

"Woah!" he yelled, trying to push her back.

"You're a horrible, evil, vile cretin!" Bella cried.

"Miss Weasley, that is enough!" Professor McGonagall cried just as Professor Lupin wrapped his arms around her from behind and hauled her away from him.

Draco stood in front of her, slack-jawed and terrified. Bella huffed, wriggling in Professor Lupin's arms.

"This is not the behaviour I expect from you, Miss Weasley." Professor McGonagall said sternly.

"It's his fault!" Bella cried, pointing a finger accusingly at Draco.

"Professor Lupin, would you please escort Miss Weasley back to the castle for now." Professor Dumbledore said softly.

Lupin released his hold on her and she shrugged him off, stomping ahead of him to the castle. She knew he was following after her but she could care less. She was so furious that her mind went totally blank and without thinking she turned and punched the wall in the corridor. An almighty crack echoed in the corridor but Bella couldn't feel a thing.

"Bella, we need to get you to the Hospital Wing right away." Professor Lupin said urgently, closing the large gap between them and taking her broken hand in his gently.

He supported her hand in his all the way to the Hospital Wing and Madam Pomfrey gasped when she seen the state of Bella's right hand.

"What on earth happened?!" she asked.

"She punched the wall." Lupin answered when Bella didn't.

"You cannot go punching the walls, Miss Weasley." Madam Pomfrey said sternly.

Bella had been silent since she left the Quidditch Pitch and she didn't say a word even as Madam Pomfrey worked on her hand. After a few minutes, Bella's hand was as good as new.

"You may go, Miss Weasley. - but I do not want to see you in here with another self-inflicted wound, is that clear." Madam Pomfrey said.

Bella looked at her blankly, nodded her head once and left the Hospital Wing. She took the long way to Gryffindor Tower and by the time she got there the party was in full swing.

"Hey, come sit." Ron said, beckoning her over to the sofa.

"I'm not in the mood." she replied.

Bella pushed her way through the crowd of Gryffindors to the dormitory stairs. When she reached her dorm she went to shut the door behind her but she was stopped as Ron pushed it back open again.

"What's wrong?" he asked. "Is everything okay."

"Everything's fine, Ron." she sighed. "I've just got a sore head."

"Try and get some sleep." Ron urged. "And don't let Malfoy bother you, he's an idiot."

Bella nodded and Ron closed the door quietly behind him. Bella sat down on the edge of her bed, running her uninjured hand over her newly healed one. Thinking of how detatched Bella had been not ten minutes ago terrified her and she hoped that it would never happen again.
