A Day At The Beach
Fluffbuary and a prompt full of cheesy pickup lines inspired me to make a second chapter to this really old fic. :D
...
Frisk and Aaron happily walked together down to the beach. As they walked, Aaron pulled out his phone, typed a few things, and then frowned.
"What's up?" Frisk asked him.
"Could you help me? I think there's something wrong with my phone." Aaron asked.
"Um, sure, I'm not that good with technology, but I can try. What's going on with it?"
Aaron grinned and pointed at his contacts list. "See? It doesn't have your number in it."
Frisk blinked, then burst out laughing. "That's terrible! Geez, Aaron, you really had me going there!"
"Which means it was effective." Aaron pointed out with his signature wink.
"Well, it WAS original. I've never heard that one before." Frisk said with a smile and playful shrug. "Okay, okay, let's "fix" your phone."
She typed in her number and Aaron grinned. "Hey, did the sun come out? No, that's just your smile."
Frisk looked up at the bright blue, sunny sky and laughed. "I think that one kind of works better when it's cloudy." she teased, but he saw the blush appearing on her face and inwardly fist pumped. Score!
They arrived on the beach and to their delight, the beach was indeed crowded with cute humans and monsters for them to flirt with.
"Ahh, I love the beach. The sand, the sun, the sea, you in a bikini..." Aaron grinned.
"What if I don't want to wear a bikini?" Frisk teased.
"Then I'd probably cry."
Frisk laughed. "Well, we wouldn't want to see that. I'll go change." She headed towards the changing rooms and Aaron waited for her, winking at anyone who passed who he found attractive, which was pretty much everyone around their age.
And then Frisk stepped out of the changing rooms, wearing a little blue bikini and rubbing suntan lotion on her skin, and Aaron's jaw dropped.
"Tell me, do you believe in love at first sight?" she asked seductively as she approached him. "Or should I walk by again?"
Aaron shook his head to clear out the cobwebs and grinned. "Well, I'll tell you something, Frisk. You look like a parking ticket."
She blinked. "Huh?"
He winked. "You've got "Fine," written all over you."
Frisk burst out laughing. "Think it looks good enough to get either you or the hot lifeguards over there to rub sunscreen on my back?"
"Like I'd ever say no to that job." Aaron grinned, taking the bottle of sunscreen and rubbing it on her back for her, taking slightly more time than needed to do it. What could he say; his friend was sexy as hell.
Frisk grinned. "Thanks, Aaron." She took his hand. "C'mon, let's go have some fun!"
...
Soon they were caught up in a rousing game of beach ball with Undyne, Alphys and Papyrus. And then they found out why they should never challenge Undyne to a game of anything.
"You okay, Frisk?" Aaron asked as he helped his friend, who was laying face-down in the sand after a rather impressive strike from Undyne, back to her feet again.
"Yeah." she groaned. "I can't believe Undyne sent me flying ten feet with a beach ball of all things! They're full of AIR!"
"It's Undyne, did you expect anything different?" he deadpanned.
"Haha! I beat all you punks!" Undyne laughed, putting her hands on her hips. Alphys was standing nearby, dusting sand off her suit as well as she looked at Undyne with admiration, her cheeks bright red.
"UNDYNE, THROWING A BEACH BALL ISN'T A COMPETITIVE SPORT!" Papyrus protested, trying to get sand out of his rib cage and failing miserably.
"Well, now it is!"
"Well, since Undyne won, let's go to the water. I've got sand in places sand should never be." Frisk sighed, though she was smiling.
"I'LL COME DOWN IN A BIT." Papyrus said. "I WANT TO BUILD A SANDCASTLE."
"Oh, are you an artist, Papyrus?" Aaron asked.
Papyrus preened a bit. "WHY YES, I AM! I ALWAYS TRY TO ADD AN ARTISTIC TOUCH TO MY PUZZLES, AND I SUCCESSFULLY PAINTED A ROCK FORMATION TO LOOK LIKE A HANGING ROPE BRIDGE OVER A CLIFF!"
Aaron made sure to wait for him to finish talking before saying the last bit of his pickup line. "I knew you were because you keep drawing me in." he told Papyrus before winking flirtatiously.
"He draws everyone in. He's the Great Papyrus after all." Frisk said with a smile.
Papyrus blinked in utter confusion for a second before the pick-up line hit him. "NYEHHHH!" he squealed before hiding his bright red face.
"I nearly forgot how susceptible to flirting he is." Frisk chuckled to Aaron.
...
They spent a while playing in the water, swimming and splashing each other, and of course flirting with everyone in sight. Frisk was slightly more successful at this than Aaron(Aaron blamed the bikini), but Aaron got the number of a few cute human girls too.
After a few hours, they started to get hungry and headed to the boardwalk. They noticed Undyne and Alphys already there, sitting on the edge of the pier.
And then Undyne leaned over and kissed Alphys on the cheek. Alphys let out a slight squeal before turning bright red and collapsing on her back. Undyne chuckled before checking her over. Thankfully she was fine.
Aaron turned to Frisk, whose eyes were huge and bright. She let out a very soft squeal of her own. "Oh, Aaron, this is awesome! My OTP just got together!" She threw her arms around him.
Aaron had no clue what an OTP was or why Frisk was so excited about two other people kissing, but considering a bikini clad girl was hugging him right now, there was no way in hell he was complaining.
They got some ice cream, rode some of the rides on the boardwalk, and of course flirted with some more people, but as the sun started setting Frisk reluctantly admitted she needed to get home.
"Good idea, because heaven's missing its prettiest angel." Aaron grinned, though he was a bit disappointed she had to go so soon.
Frisk giggled. "You know Aaron, if you were a vegetable, you'd be a cute-cumber."
Aaron laughed, and they continued to trade increasingly ridiculous pickup lines as he walked her home. Once they reached her door, she turned to him, surprising him by once again kissing him on the cheek. "I had a great time today. Thanks, Aaron." she told him, blushing a bit.
Aaron smiled softly with his own blush. "Hey, you know I'll always be there when you call. And I had a good time too."
She smiled and gave him a hug, then reluctantly headed inside. Aaron smiled and touched the cheek she had kissed.
"Careful, you keep this up and I might just fall for you." he said softly to her door before heading home.
