I've finally finished this! I'm so sorry it took so long! I've been struggling with this a little, as well as having the app completely stop working for like a week and a half!

But it's finally here! I hope you all enjoy, it was still fun to right!

I love you all and thank you for the follows/favs and reviews!

To Gundam Emperor00: the answers are ahead!

To TrenchcoatTheVegbian: thank you! I'm glad you like it! And I really do love this story! Even when I'm struggling to write it, Its still worth it.

To Guest: thank you!! I didn't want the ruining timeline but to be so big and annoying, so I made it more natural and how I would react to it all. And again thank you for reading!

To Artemis Sherwood: thank you! And ya, it seems to be fixed, but it is a very grumpy app!

To Saiyanprincess1511: Wile E Coyote can read XD (and probably write)

All I can hear is the sound of my rapid breaths through the gills and the sound of my claws digging into the ground as I run, moving as fast as I could, while also keeping the still quivering form of the child held close to my chest, I couldn't hear the hover bikes anymore and I prayed they hadn't seen me yet.

I continue on through the brush until I can make out a group of heat signatures in front of me, a rush of adrenaline and excitement pumping through me as I notice one of the taller figures body temperature was much lower than a normal humans would be.

'It's him!' If I could I would have called out, yelled for him, but as I start to get close quickly the group notices me and suddenly I see cold metal being raised toward me before a few shots are fired off in my direction, I skid to a halt a good 15 or so feet away, panting as I watch them in fear for only a moment before I make a quick decision and take off to my right, disappearing from their view into the brush.

'Ok...who ever he's with is not friendly! At least not to me yet...so I just need to be careful...' I slow to a stop after a few moments, pausing to listen, and if I could smile, I would be beaming! For behind me I could hear the Doctors voice.

"I said no more shooting!"

"Look Doctor, I don't know about you, but that was obviously a mother and child! If they had gotten too close, we would have been ripped to pieces by her!" One of the older men says angrily, his voice sounding slightly off, as if it was coming from a computer.

--

Third Person POV.

The Doctor glares down at the former security guard angrily, Rilind stands his ground, narrowing his eyes at the Time Lord.

"You may think they won't hurt us, but if I know anything about mothers of any species, it's that they will stop at nothing to protect their young" he reaffirms.

The Doctor shakes his head and grabs the mans gun from his hands, tossing it to the ground.

"Enough! You will obey me or I will go on by myself" he snaps at the slightly shorter man. "I will not allow you to harm anyone, especially the Beasts, what if you had killed the mother? You'd want that child to grow up alone?" He snaps, the augmented human deflates a little.

"I...I had to protect our group, even more will die if we don't get to the mine" he says, trying to defend himself, but everyone could tell he had lost.

The Doctor meets the mans eyes seriously "this is your last warning, if you shoot at them again, I will be making sure you don't get the chance ever again" he snaps before continuing on again, glancing down the way the Beast had just ran sadly.

The others all look increasingly uncomfortable, but they follow the Doctor regardless, Rilind picking up his gun as he passes it.

Unbeknownst to any of the bipeds, the very same Beast was now quietly following the group from a distance.

--

Roses POV.

I relax a little as I had listened to the group, the Doctor telling off the man that had shot toward us, I watch them cautiously from a ways away, keeping pace with them, but not moving any closer, just in case they panicked and hurt me or the child.

Speaking of, I gently tighten my smaller arms protectively around the child pressed to my chest, feeling them relax a little, still keeping a tight grip of my arms with both pairs of their own, the child seemed exhausted and scared, but with things calming down for now the child seems more comfortable, and soon I can hear the soft slow breaths as they falls asleep.

I sigh softly and smile mentally 'don't worry kid, we will get through this and we will find your parents, I promise'

I continue to quietly stalk the group from afar for a few more minutes before I hear one of those hover bikes coming toward us, I quickly hide myself and the child in the brush, but the group wasn't fast enough.

"Now what do we have here? Someone trying to butt in on our kills?" Snaps the alien on the bike to the group as he hovers over them, I huff softly, already pissed with him.

"There wont be anymore killing" the Doctors voice calls back angrily.

The alien on the bike laughs and rests his gun on his legs, leaning casually against the handlebars of the bike as he stares down at them.

"I don't think you're in charge here pal, now get off this reserve before I call security" he snaps.

"We won't be going anywhere, I'm going to give you one warning, and one warning only. Take your friends, and leave right now, I won't come looking for you if you do" the Doctor says seriously, but I could hear the strain in his voice, the anger there.

"What are you gonna do? Tattle on us? We have the best lawyers this side of the galaxy" the alien sneers.

I see the Doctor step forward towards the hovering asshole, his shoulders obviously tense. "My wife is out there, and I'm going to end this all before she gets hurt any further" he says seriously.

Again the alien asshole laughs, raising his gun "mate, take a hike, your wife's probably already dead, we got a few not far from here, I'd give up and leave before we sue your ass" he sneers, raising his gun to point it down at the Doctor, my heart drops seeing the cold gun pointed at him.

--

Doctor's POV.

Dead...the word rang through my mind, cold and empty, as its been since she was last with me...I shake my head mentally, glaring up at the man on the bike, looking so smug, as if he'd won, he hasn't won anything, and if I have anything to say about it, he won't win anything ever again.

Stepping forward again, I cross my arms in front of my chest "I am untouchable by your laws, now I suggest you run before you can't" I snap, my hearts starting to race, I wouldn't stand down, not if she was going to be hurt by these thugs, or if she already had been.

The man on the bike laughs coldly again before he comes down to right in front of me, gun up and nearly touching my nose, however I keep my eyes on the man, showing no fear, only angers towards him.

He smirks at me more "you know, you have got some balls to not even flinch with a gun pressed to your chest, either that, or your the stupidest motherfucker I've ever met" he sneers, I narrow my eyes.

I stiffen as there's suddenly a second mind in my own, a warmth I was so afraid I wouldn't feel again, a love overwhelming my mind, blinding me for just a moment before I come back to my senses, seeing the gun now pressed to my chest and the man glaring angrily at me.

"The hells wrong with you? You listening to me?"

I try to focus back on that warmth in my mind, trying to figure out which direction its coming from, only to get the gun shoved into my chest, I take a half step back from the force.

"Are you just stupid? Or are you just deaf?" He snaps, I meet his eyes dangerously now.

"I am neither, now I suggest you back away" I say seriously.

He laughs and presses the guns barrel up under my chin, making me look up at him more "you have the most nerve of anyone I've ever met. Shame I'll have to kill you, it almost seems a waste of a good mind" he smirks.

He turns the safety off on his gun and I stiffen slightly, but keep my eyes on his seriously.

In seconds that seem to slow I can feel more than hear, something very large racing up behind me, the others around me look behind me, including the man before me, I can see his eyes widen in shock and fear before something large leaps up and over me, slamming into the man, sending him to the ground and the Beast tears up the bike in front of the man, who had lost his gun thankfully.

I stare in shock for a few moments, watching as the large grey-ish skinned Beast growls loudly and stalks up to the hunter, pressing a large front clawed foot onto his chest, shoving him into the dirt and moss under him.

The hunter shamelessly pleading for his life, then he moves to bargaining, trying anything he could think of to survive.

I take a slow step forward, my hearts both beating in unison now as I watch.

The Beast leans down and growls loudly in the mans face, pressing him harder into the ground, before a second pair of smaller arms reach down and grab the front of the mans coat, lifting him up off the ground, the man grabs the strong arms, desperately trying to free himself in fear.

I open my mouth, going to speak, but I'm only a second late, hearing a shaky command yelled from behind me, I turn my head to see Astro holding a pistol, pointed at the beast as his hands shook slightly.

My hearts drop to the pit of my stomach.

"Let him g-go!" The boy yells before there's a gunshot.

I spin around to see the Beast had dropped the man and had ran back into the brush, I reach out desperately, my mind brushing fearfully against the other, looking for signs of pain, sending worry, but all I get back is warmth and reassurance.

I glare as I turn back to Astro, my hands at my sides, clenched into fists as I walk up to the boy, grabbing the gun and tossing it to the ground.

"What the hell do you think you are doing?! I said no more shooting!"

He looks up at me in fear and confusion "I-I...I was...it was gonna kill him!" He insists.

"No! No sh...no it wasn't it was holding him so he couldn't reach his gun. Now who knows where it went" I seethe.

He steps back in fear, Mayhorn coming up and standing between me and the boy.

"Calm down, we won't do any good fighting each other, it's gone now, we can continue on, and worry about the Beasts later" he says seriously.

"No, I am finding that Beast, you continue on, but you wont get any more of my help" I snap, keeping my hands down, knowing if I wasn't careful I would probably hurt one of them.

She was right there...damn it! Stupid ignorant child...I've got to find her.

The group was standing before me now, watching me with cautious worried eyes.

"You promised you'd help us" Aza says nervously, sounding terrified.

"Ya, well I also said I didn't want you shooting at them anymore, deals off..." I trail off, the warmth filling my mind was getting warmer again, a deep gentle touch, as if to calm me, my shoulders relax just slightly.

Behind Aza I see Juno grab her arm gently, all of them were starring past me now, I stiffen, is it another hunter...?

The next thing I feel is a gentle warm press against my upper back, I pause and frown, confused for only a moment before the other in my mind suddenly bursts with energy, a wave of emotions hitting me.

I turn my head to find the same Beast there, its forehead pressed against my back, I could see the multitude of scars covering its back and shoulder.

I gently press my mind back experimentally, getting a warmth back and the Beast nuzzles a little closer, sitting down slowly as best it can, its pair of second smaller arms coming up to grip at the back of my coat.

My hearts leap and I turn slowly, keeping my eyes locked on its featureless head, as I turned her careful clawed hands gently grabbed my arm, trying to pull me a little closer.

I let out a breath in amazement before I gently press my free hand against the side of her head, she instantly presses into my touch, I smile widely and relief floods me.

"You're alive...Oh Rose, what have they done to you" I gasp out, kneeling down in front of her.

She presses closer both physically and mentally, I could feel her relief, her excitement and overwhelming love.

Her head presses to my chest, seeming to relax more the closer she was to me.

--

Roses POV.

As soon as I had seen the gun I dropped the scum of the planet and dodged the bullet, scrambling into the underbrush as fast as I could, panting and mind racing.

'Ok...not so good, saved the Doctor from getting shot...but now that group think I'm just attacking them...'

I cautiously stalk around the group, stopping after only a moment to listen.

I listen quietly as they speak, mentally smiling a little 'he's so worried for me...'

I stop behind the group silently, my heart starting to race 'please be open still...please'

I watch the two of his hearts beating as I open my end of the connection again, sending him warmth and affection, seeing his shoulders relaxing.

I smile mentally, my heart rate jumping excitedly, I take a deep breath before slowly stepping out of the bushes, brushing past a fallen log and moving to stand just behind the Doctor.

I can hear the others in shock and fear, but I focus only on him, on his heartbeats I can see and hear, on his breath, on his mind pressing back to mine.

I hold my breath for just a moment, almost afraid of scaring him, of him seeing me like this, but then I remind myself.

'He loves me, he won't be afraid as soon as he knows it's me'

I take my chance, stepping closer and gently pressing my forehead against his back, pressing my mind closer to his, feeling the wave of strength from him, from being this close to him again.

As he turns relief finally hits me 'he's here, he will fix all of this' my chest feels almost painfully tight, and I knew if I had eyes I'd be crying.

I relax as his mind floods my own, I press closer, nuzzling against him gently, sitting down a bit awkwardly with the longer back legs.

I hesitate for only a moment before reaching out with my smaller arms, gently grabbing fistfuls of his coat, terror suddenly shooting through me for a moment.

'What if I can't be charged back...'

He turns toward me and I gently move my hold to his arm, holding as tightly as I dared, not wanting to hurt him with my new sharp claws.

I can see as he watches me back, obviously a bit shocked, but he soon raises his hand, gently cupping the side of my head, I press into his touch, relishing the warmth that flows from his touch.

"You're alive...oh Rose, what have they done to you" he murmurs, I press closer as he kneels down to be closer to my level.

I scoot a little closer, pressing my head against his chest gently, reviling in the feel of his two heartbeats, in the warmth from him, even as his temperature was cooler than mine.

I relax more, pressing closer as he gently rests his hand on my back, running his cool fingers over my back, I shiver at the touch, feeling his fingers hitting the scars branching over the skin.

"Let's get this sorted, get you back to you" he says softly, I nod a little and pull my head back to look up at him, wishing so much that I could see his eyes, that my stupid vision wasn't only infrared.

"Are you alone?" He asks, I shake my head quickly and stand again, pressing my head gently against his cheek, wishing to kiss him, before quickly rushing off into the brush again.

"What is going on Doctor?" I hear from the group as I go and find the small hiding place I had stowed the child away in.

"That Beast won't harm us, she's safe, I promise. Now, I'm going to only say this one more time. No more shooting at the Beasts, especially her" he says loudly.

I very gently pick up the now sleeping child, holding them to my chest protectively as I basically trot back to the group, listening as they continued to talk.

"How can you be so sure?" One of the younger men asks.

"Because I know her, I trust her with my life, and she's still in there, I can feel her, even now" the Doctor explains seriously.

I gently press my mind to his, sending him affection as I come back out from the brush, coming to stand beside the Doctor, gently pressing my side against him.

He looks down to me curiously, I gently hold the child up so he could see and his eyes widen, he kneels down again as he looks over the sleeping child.

"Who...where...is this a child that was stolen for the experiments?" He asks softly, I nod and gently cradle them close to my chest again protectively.

He nods and stands, gently kissing the top of my head as he does so before looking to the group.

"Now let's move, we don't have much time" he says confidently, I nod and head off with the group, keeping very close to the Doctor, brushing against his side as we marched through the jungle toward the cliffs and the salt mine, back toward the torture rooms and the death traps and crazy hunters with weapons.

I could feel the stress and fear from the people around me, and it was starting to bug me a little, I didn't want anyone to be afraid of me, ever, unless they deserved it.

As the horrible sensation begins to get worse I stop, looking up to the concerned Doctor.

"Rose? What's wrong?" He asks worriedly, I face the group who all look very uncomfortable, watching me closely.

I huff softly and send him my sadness, trying to express what's bothering me, he looks between me and them before he sighs softly.

"Alright, this has been going on long enough" he says seriously.

"You can all trust her, how can we prove it to you that she is perfectly safe?" He asks, hand on my back again.

The group looks between each other nervously before the youngest woman steps forward nervously.

"I...It's not that we don't trust her...it's...it's just...she could very easily hurt any of us...bullets don't stop them fully...or quickly..." she says nervously.

I huff softly at that before I step closer to the group, she backs up in fear but I stop and gently start to draw in the dirt and moss, moving carefully and gently, not wanting to seem a threat to them.

After I finish I step back to beside the Doctor again, he looks down at me curiously but I just nod to the floor.

The leader of the group, the bug man steps forward and looks down at the writing before reading it out loud "I'd rather hurt myself than any of you, I just want to help"

Then he looks up at me in curiosity "you can write...? You're really still yourself then..." he says in a bit of amazement.

I nod softly and give a thumbs up a little wonkily with my large front right arm.

The Doctor smiles a little beside me "see? Told you? You can trust her" he says, smiling wider.

I gently lean against his side a little before we all continue on, the group seeming a little less nervous now, though I could still tell it wouldn't go away fully.

It's not too long after that we come out into the clearing along the edge of the cliffs, the door into the mine in front of us, and the massive building far above on the top of the cliff, the Doctor stops beside me and looks up to it.

"Looks like we've got our work cut out for us, right. Are there any other possible entrances we could take?" He asks.

The older woman comes to stand beside us, not seeming too nervous about me now "only one, but its heavily guarded, and has a few cameras that are always being watched" I nod a little before I hesitate, looking down to the child still comfortably asleep in my arms, I look up to the group before I slowly approach the younger girl, raising the child up gently to her.

She looks down nervously before gently taking the child, once she does I draw in the dirt quickly "keep the child safe, out here" she reads before frowning.

"What? No, I want to help" she insists, I shake my head softly and write again.

'You will be helping, that child is alone out here, keep them safe for me, please' I write before looking up to her again, she sighs softly, looking down at the sleeping child before nodding.

"Ok...just...come back for me?" She asks, I nod softly and give her a thumbs up with my smaller arm, feeling a warm wave from the Doctor behind me, I turn and walk back to his side as the girl, someone called her Aza, goes to speak with her group, he crouches beside me, smiling widely.

"Smart, now, shall we try and get that door open?" He asks, I nod again, gently nudging him back to his feet before I follow him quickly to the massive metal door to the old mine.

He pulls out his sonic and starts to scan around the edges before he finds a small hidden digital panel, he Sonics it and messes with it for a few moments before the door makes a loud creak and starts to open upwards, he comes back to my side as we watch, hearing the rest follow us toward the door, I growl loudly as I see more Beasts around the room, cowering away from the door, and guards standing on either side of the main door back into the buildings.

I scramble under the door, kicking up sand and dirt as I run at the guards before they had time to do anything, tackling one to the ground and snapping his gun in half, glad to hear the second guard knocked out by the others, I growl down at the panicked guard under me, I get off him and he cowers in the corner.

I go to the door and shove my claws between the door and the wall, wrenching it open before the others enter first, their guns up, the Doctor passes me, patting my head gently as he goes quickly.

I look back to the other Beasts who are watching in worry and curiosity.

I stay still for a moment before following the others quickly into the horrible dimly lit cold tile halls, it felt like an old run down school after hours, I keep up with the group quickly, though I was having a little trouble on the tiled floor, slipping a little, like a big dog on hardwood flooring, claws not being able to grip anything.

As we all make it down the hallway I see a group of guards turning a corner toward us, I growl loudly and dig my claws into the tiles, snapping a few as I take off forward, dodging through the others before propelling myself at the guards, hearing the Doctor trying to stop me but I don't listen, as I get close I see them raise their guns toward me, so I take one last gripping step before I slide onto my side.

My momentum carries me quickly into the group, knocking the front row directly onto their backs before I stand and grab two of them with my smaller arms, holding them up as a shield, their friends look nervous to try and shoot me now, not wanting to hit their buddies.

I smirk mentally before tossing the soldiers at their friends, getting most of them to the ground, I try to get to them but again have trouble with the floor, thankfully though, the rest of my group runs up and gets them on the ground, I go around snapping all of their weapons in half, making absolutely sure they couldn't hurt us.

The Doctor stops beside me, smirking a little "having trouble dear?" He teases, I growl softly and get an idea, I turn toward him, nudging him a little toward the wall, I can feel his confusion through the connection before I dig my back claws into the tiles and stand up on my hind legs, my front arms coming to rest against the wall on either side of the Doctor.

I send him my amusement at his shock, and he knew if I could smirk, I would be.

He halfheartedly glares up at me, but I could feel his amusement now, and for extra annoyance I reach up gently with my smaller arms and mess up his hair, being careful of my claws.

"You are impossible" he huffs, swatting away my hands, I make a soft chuffing laugh sound and drop back onto all fours, sauntering past him and down the hallway to the next hallway, the group having gotten the soldiers locked up with their own cuffs.

I look down both ways of the hall, not seeing anyone living, nor any possible hiding places besides doors into other rooms.

Even as I head down the left direction I can still feel the Doctors humor at the situation, I send back pride and humor as well before I focus back on my task, I find one door with a window in it, and inside is a group of the guards in some sort of break room, I smirk mentally and find an odd fire extinguisher, I bend the handle of the door loudly, hearing the men inside starting to yell but I jam the large metal container between the door and handle now, making it impossible to open the door from their side.

I nod to myself and continue on to check the rest of the rooms before the group catches up, I look to them and nod toward the end of the hallway, a large elevator there at the end, the Doctor nods quickly as we head to it, but once it opens we can see it isn't very big, I look around and can see a staircase not far away, I gently shove him inside, he looks to me worriedly.

"What about you?" At that I point to the stairs and he nods though I could feel his hesitation and worry.

I step back as the group fills the elevator before the doors close and they head up, I make my way to the stairs before groaning softly 'I hate stairs...'

I huff before moving to the center of the room and facing up, seeing it looks like a generic emergency staircase, I nod before getting an idea, I take a few deep breaths, crouching before leaping up, grabbing onto the railing, I growl softly as it strained my back, sending sharp pains down my back and legs, but I push through it, continuing to leap up each level, ascending the stairwell much faster than if I had tried to run up them.

In only a few minutes I make up all the way up the many flights, crawling up onto the top landing just as the door opens, I look up quickly as I pant a little, relaxing to see its just the Doctor, I can see and sense him physically relax a little.

"Come on, we've got more guards taken care of, but we can't get into the main lobby, they've deadlock sealed the doors" he explain, I nod quickly and follow after him, brushing against his side gently as we stop in front of large double doors, I walk up to them past the others, looking over them before I see the hinges, I walk over and stand up on my hind legs again.

I lean against the wall with my front legs, my smaller arms working quickly to unhook the hinges, dropping the bolts to the floor as I work, and in only a minute or two the first door falls to the ground, I drop back to all fours and follow the others inside.

We are met with a literal army of guards, the man in front smirking and seeming to be one of the men in charge.

"Drop your weapons, or you will be shot" the man says loudly, I growl deeply but the Doctor moves to stand in front of me, the others seem nervous but he motions for them to listen, so around me multiple guns are dropped to the floor and the others raise their hands.

"I want to speak with the man in charge" the Doctor says seriously, his hands up as well.

The head man laughs loudly and coldly, sending a shiver down my back "you don't get to waltz in here and make demands of me, not after all of the trouble you've put me through" he sneers.

"actually, thats exactly what I'm doing, I want to speak with who ever is in charge of all of this" the Doctor says again.

The man watches him closely for a moment before smirking "fine then, you will get to meet our boss on two condition, you leave the mutt to us, and you go alone" he says seriously.

My heart drops and I step closer, one smaller hand gripping the back of his coat tightly, no way was I letting him go alone.

He reaches back and rests his hand against the side of my head gently, I lean into his touch nervously, he sends me reassurance as he nods to the man "fine, but only if you promise to not harm her" he says loudly, I tighten my grip on him, gently pulling him backwards a little.

The man rolls his eyes but nods "sure, what ever you say, lets go" he says, motioning for his met to move toward us, I growl lowly as they start to grab the others around me, the Doctor turns to me, crouching down quickly "don't do anything rash, I'll get this sorted, I promise" he says softly, I nod hesitantly, gripping his arm gently but tightly.

He stands back up and faces the man again before a few of the guards come up to stand beside me, I growl a little, not liking this at all.

Just as the Doctor reaches them man he is grabbed, and a cold metal rope is wrapped around my neck, cattle prods shoved into my sides and back to get me on the ground, I growl loudly, trying to swipe at them to get them away, but they just up the amount of electricity in the rods, keeping me on the ground.

I can hear yelling all around me but the pain was muffling my hearing, I could also feel alarm and fear from the Doctor, I quickly close the connection, not wanting him to be in pain, knowing even now, that if he was to get us out of here, he'd need a clear head.

After a good ten minutes of fighting against the restraints I'm dragged down a few hallways before they open a door and shove me inside, releasing the rope from my neck, I land on my side heavily, groaning in pain before I hear the others being pushed inside, the group of rebels.

I get to my feet slowly just as the door is closed, I look around the cold room, the only heat coming from the group around me, they move to the back of the room quickly, staying close together as we hear a speaker crackle to life.

I look up but can't see it, but I could definitely hear it "now that thats done, why don't we take care of you all before that fool of a man even knows" a cold voice sneers, I growl loudly, wanting so badly to be able to get us out, but when I try to touch the door I get zapped.

I move back slowly to the center of the room cautiously, a bit nervous now as I realize what the voice meant.

"I think it be fitting to end this with the very thing you were trying to change, enjoy the fruits of your labor" the voice laughs before it disappears, only to be replaced with a horrible sound, high pitched and almost whistling.

Instantly I'm on the ground, growling and whining as I try to cover my sensory gills, trying to hide from the sound, but the louder it gets the worse I feel, like my mind was going fuzzy, my body felt wrong, like I wasn't in control anymore, something else was moving me, forcing me to slowly stand on all fours, I try to fight it a little, very confused and terrified, until I face the others near the back wall.

Instantly I realize what the voice meant, I was going to kill them, I growl loudly, fighting against the force now with all of my strength, my heart racing and my mind fuzzy still, but I persist, holding myself back from stepping toward them.

I dig my claws into the concrete floor, including my smaller arms, gripping the ground with all my strength cracking the concrete around me.

I hear fearful talking from the group before footsteps nervously step a little closer to me, I look up quickly, my muscle shaking from me forcing myself not to move.

The one approaching slowly was the leader, the bug man, I didn't get his name before all of this, he takes another slow step closer "are you alright...?" He asks hesitating, I shake my head stiffly.

"Is it the sound?" He asks quickly, seeming to realize what was going on now, I nod slowly, everything was starting to hurt, the strain and force of keeping myself still sending waves of pain down my back and legs.

He goes back to the group before the oldest male there, seeming to be part cybernetic from his heat signature stands quickly and goes to the wall the speaker is on, I growl angrily as my legs start to move slowly, trying to push past the hold I had on myself, my claws start to drag against the floor, creating long deep scratches in the stone.

Just as I was starting to lose control a bang sounds and the sound disappears, fizzling out and I collapse, panting and shaking slightly from the exertion.

The leader bug man comes over quickly and crouches beside me "better?" I nod tiredly before sitting up slowly, wincing at the pain in my back, he nods as well "good, we need to get out of here, who knows whats happening to that Doctor of yours" I nod again and slowly stand, stretching out a little before moving toward the door quickly, nodding in thanks to the cyborg as he had managed to destroy the speaker.

As I stop at the door I remember the electricity, but it hadn't hurt much the first time I touched it, I raise one claw, tapping the door, feeling a slight shock before I pull away, getting an idea I back up quickly, standing in the middle of the room, the others moving out of my way quickly.

I take a deep breath and prepare myself before racing at the door, slamming into it with my shoulder, though being careful of my gills, I growl in pain as the door zaps me, but the door had a huge dent in it now, I huff in satisfaction, backing up once again and ramming into the door, hearing it creak and the lock finally breaks, the door swinging open a little.

I shove through it and smirk a little mentally as I see no guards had been there to watch us, seems they thought we'd all give up in there.

I run down the carpeted hotel like hallway, very glad for the new traction, though my back was still very sore, I can hear the others running behind me, but I keep going 'I have to find him before he's killed' A horrible shiver runs through me at the simple idea of him getting hurt.

I scramble around a corner to face a large set of very nice stairs, I race up them, not bothering to care about the large scratches I was leaving in the carpet and wooden stairs, as I reach the very last stair I pause, seeing a large set of double doors down a small hallway, nothing else in it but the doors, I growl a little and slowly step up the last step, this felt wrong, like a trap.

I slowly step forward, before stopping again, I couldn't see anything out of the ordinary, but something was telling me something was wrong.

As the others catch up I quickly hold up my large front arm in front of them, stopping them quickly, I look around before I grab one of the metal railings and break off a piece before tossing it down the short hallway.

Almost instantly a bright hot wave ripples through the hallway, as if the metal had hit a wall of white hot energy, it felt blinding to me and I flinch back, hissing a little, the others seem nervous again, one walking back down the stairs a ways to keep watch.

"What do we do...? We don't have weapons..." the leader says nervously, I hesitate before I slowly make my way into the hallway, stopping right in front of the fallen metal piece, I pick it and reach it out slowly, growling as heat from the wall washes over me, slightly burning my claws.

I step back again, my mind racing before I get an idea, something I saw in a movie from my childhood that had a similar energy wall.

I quickly go back to the stairs and grab a second piece of metal before returning, I stand on my hind legs, using one large arm to brace myself against the wall, then I use my other three arms, pressing the metal together onto the same spot against the energy.

I resist the heat and pain and slowly drag the metal apart, one up the wall, the other down, and to my glee the energy splits, leaving a rather large crack between the metal.

I motion for the others to come over quickly, making sure they can jump through, but once they are all through I realize this would be pretty hard to get through myself,

I step back and the wall of energy closes up again as I pant softly.

"Stay there! We can find a way to take it down" calls one of the others on the other side, I nod and drop the metal to the floor, stepping back a few more steps.

I make a 'keep going' motion before they get through the door and disappear from sight.

I watch for a moment before facing the stairs again, nervous now that I was on my own.

My heart starts to race faster as I can hear guards yelling downstairs and their voices were getting closer and closer the longer I stay listening.

But to my relief I hear something powering down and I look back to see the door being pulled open by the cyborg quickly.

"Come on! We got it down but only for a few seconds!" He yells, I turn and race past the down barrier just in time, making it through the door only to skid to a halt on the now tile floor.

I'm now standing in what must be the massive lobby for the upper portion on the building.

The others have locked the doors behind us and I look up and around the room quickly, looking for anything to signify where we should go.

But as I don't find anything and it seems the computers had been locked down, the others couldn't find anything either, I get an idea, I cautiously open the connect, sucking in a deep breath at the sudden painful shock jolting through the connection.

My heart sinks and I growl loudly before I take off yet again, running up a flight of stairs as I follow the bond, feeling as I get closer and closer, the others seem to follow as I race down hallway after hallway, slamming through doors and scaring some people that seem to be just there as if it were a normal hotel.

Soon we get up a few more flights and I can feel him directly in front of me, another jolt shooting through the connection.

I don't wait for the rest to catch up, far too worried to even think through what I was going to do.

I growl loudly before slamming against the large metal door into the room he's in, leaving a massive dent, I take a few steps back and ram into it again, getting the door bent enough I can get my claws through the cracks.

I bend the metal out of my way, growling at the amount of force it needed, then I'm inside.

The room is dark and uncomfortably hot, a table with a panel of buttons and levers are to the back of the room to my right, and to my left is the Doctor, strapped to a chair with his coat, jacket, shirt and tie missing as they seem to be trying to torture him to give them information.

The next few seconds are silent in shock before the Doctor yells "Run! Rose get out of here!" But I don't listen, instead I charge at the desk, slamming into it and causing the men behind it to launch back in fear.

I reach over it and start destroying the buttons before I turn and run to the Doctors side, my heart pounding painfully as I look over the restraints, growling at the hot metal holding him down.

I can hear him trying to talk to me but I didn't listen, I needed to focus on getting him out.

I stalk around the chair quickly before finding a few tubes and wires hanging off the back, I rip them out and start to dismantle the back, tearing anything I could find, and not long after the metal restraints fall away, releasing him.

By then the others had caught up and they stop the men from leaving the room, I move to stand beside the Doctor, looking him over worriedly, though I knew I couldn't see or do much else in this body.

He leans on me a little, exhausted from their treatment of him, I press closer to him, letting him rest most of his weight on me, then I turn back to see the men the group had captured.

Growling loudly as I see the man who had lured the Doctor away, two others who seem to be some kind of scientists, and then the last man, who judging by his air of importance and snobbery, must be the head of the company.

I growl louder, back rippling with the sound, my claws scraping against the hot floor as I advance on the head honcho, the Doctor leaning against the wall now.

The Doctor calls after me quickly, but I don't listen, I had no intention of killing the man, but I could certainly scare the shit out of him.

Everyone else gets out of my way quickly as I back the shaking man against the wall, standing up and slamming one large three clawed foot against the metal wall behind him, the metal denting and creaking, causing the man to flinch and let out a pitiful yelp.

Everyone else in the room stays silent, a tension running through them all, I smirk mentally and growl loudly, lowering my head to face the pitiful waste of space.

He shrinks back more, I grab the front of his coat with my smaller arms, lifting him off the ground, he grips my arms in fear, scratching at them desperately with his nails.

I could hear the Doctor step forward, feeling his worry flowing off him in waves, but I had no intention of actually hurting the man.

I hold him up high off the ground making his eyes fill with tears in his fear, but after a few moments I drop him back to the ground.

I step back, dropping back to the ground before I begin scratching into the metal floor, making sure he was watching closely.

Then I grab his arm and pull him around to look down at the writing, gripping tightly to his shaking form to keep him in place.

'I may look like a monster, but I am no animal, you are the only real monster I see'

He grabs onto my clawed arm shakily, seemingly terrified I was going to hurt him, but after a few moments he seems to realize the writing was there and he reads it shakily.

He seems to pale in fear and shock, I let go of him again before going to the Doctors side again, he smiles and leans against me again.

It's not too long after that the Doctor was dressed, still leaning on me slightly as we watched the head of the company and his lackeys being arrested and the entire building searched.

We manage to find the machine that would change the Beasts back and I wait until we had found everyone and then they started changing everyone back.

I watch silently from the side, refusing to go before anyone else.

Though I do smile mentally when the young child I had saved was brought through and changed back.

To my surprise the child comes running over to me, a large t-shirt on them to cover them until they could find some clothes that would fit.

The child leaps and hugs my neck, I chuckle softly and gently wrap my smaller arms around them.

"Thank you!" They squeal happily, I tighten my arms around them gently before letting them go, my heart warming as I watch the child run to who must be there mother, she catches her child and smiles to me.

"Thank you, Chan told me what you did for her" she says, I nod softly and give a gentle wave before they leave, going with the planets police to give statements.

It's some hours later when everyone else had been changed back and I was the last one, I grimace a little as I see the room I have to go in to change back.

'This is gonna suck...' I face the Doctor to make sure he'd be ok.

"Go on, after your back to normal we will go and rest" he says, I nod softly and muzzle his side gently once more before going into the room.

The room being fairly small, the light an odd dark green.

The door soon closes behind me and I can both hear and feel the machine starting up, the floor and walls starting to vibrate a little.

I gasp shakily through my gills as rather than the pain I expected, it felt like I was being put back to the way I should be, too tight skin relaxing and shrinking back to normal, claws and extra arms disappearing.

I do get a little anxious as my gills disappear, leaving me without a way to breath at first before my mouth and nose open up, causing me to gasp for air.

I stay on my hands and knees for a few moments afterwards, catching my breath and trying to relax a little.

I open my eyes as I hear the door behind me open, then footsteps and a warm large coat is laid over me.

I smile up at the Doctor, sitting up and pulling his long coat on before hugging him tightly.

He returns the hug, holding onto me for dear life "there we go...there you are" he says softly, I smile and press my face into his shoulder gently.

"I'm back" I sigh in relief.

Not too long after, me and the Doctor sneak away, heading back into the forest to find the Tardis, I smile softly as I look back up to the large cliff face and building above, seeing the displays are turned off and everything was being taken care of.

I gently squeeze the Doctors hand happily, he smiles down at me softly.

"As soon as we get inside I'll make us some food, why don't you take a shower, then we can get some rest" he suggests.

I smirk "you telling me I smell bad?" I joke, he chuckles softly and kisses my cheek.

"Maybe" he teases, I huff, pretending to pout.

The rest of the walk is quiet and peaceful, following the trail back and then we step off it, heading into the small clearing.

I can't help but beam as the Tardis comes into view, as we get inside I sigh happily and pat the console gently, feeling her hum happily.

I relax more and kiss the Doctors cheek happily before heading to my room quickly to take a shower, grabbing some comfortable joggers and a baggy t-shirt and my normal boots.

After my shower and getting dressed carefully, not wanting to strain my back any more than needed, I look in my mirror, wondering when I should get my hair cut, but I notice something else quickly.

Leaning closer I see the soft blue that was starting to grow around the outside of my irises, the brown seemed to be disappearing to reveal the blue, the blue showing more now than it had before.

I frown and grab my phone, taking a few pictures close up before looking at them curiously.

After a few minutes there's a knock on my door, I put my phone away and head out of the bathroom, drying my hair with a towel before opening the door.

I smile more seeing the Doctor, smiling tiredly "how are you doing?" He asks a bit worriedly.

"A lot better now, and less stinky" I reply.

He smiles more and kisses my cheek "come on, let's go eat and then we can sleep" he says tiredly, I nod and toss my towel to the bed before taking his hand.

"I've been thinking of cutting my hair, but I wanted to ask you first, it just gets annoying at this length" I say and shrug as we walk down the hallway.

He looks down at me curiously "really? How short would you go?" He asks.

I think for a moment before blushing a bit "um...I was thinking a lot shorter...like...more like your hair actually, sort of a pixie cut maybe? Or something like it" I explain, keeping my eyes forward.

Honestly nervous about his reaction, but he soon nods and smiles more "sounds good to me, you look good with short hair" he hums happily.

I blush more and look up at him curiously "really..? You don't mind?"

He shakes his head "not at all, why would I?" He asks, I shrug a little.

"Because I've had way to many people tell me guys don't like girls with short hair" I say honestly.

He frowns and pulls me to a stop before gently cupping my face in his hands.

"Do I look like any normal guy?" He asks, I blush more but shake my head softly.

He smiles brightly then, gently pulling me into a kiss before kissing my forehead.

"I love you, I don't care how you look, as long as your comfortable and happy" he says, my blush only deepening as I gently grip his wrists.

I smile more and nod "thank you...I really needed to hear that" I say honestly, smiling wider.

He chuckles and kisses me again, I grab the front of his shirt and pull him closer, deepening the kiss happily before pulling back.

He wraps his arms around my waist "you want to go get your hair cut now?" He asks.

I beam up at him more and nod "if we can, that would be awesome!"

He smiles more and takes my hands quickly, taking me back to the console room before he bounces around starting her up.

I giggle happily and grip the console as the place starts shaking around.

As soon as we land he grabs my hand and we head outside.

My eyes widen as I see we are in a massive mall, aliens and humans alike everywhere.

I look around in amazement, gently tightening my hold on the Doctors hand "this is so cool!" I beam as he smiles at me fondly.

"Come on" he says, pulling me off quickly down the walkway.

I giggle and keep up as we nearly run, my heart racing happily, even in my tiredness I was so happy to be back to wandering with the Doctor, to be safe with him.

We soon stop at a salon and I get my hair cut into a more of a faux hawk style, the silver shining brightly as I look in the mirror, smiling widely.

The Doctor pays before we step back out, my cheeks nearly hurt from my constant smile.

He smiles and kisses my cheek happily "do you like it?" He asks, I nod quickly as we walk back toward the Tardis, running my fingers through my hair for like the tenth time, I have always loved having my hair short.

"I love it! It isn't tickling my ears anymore" I say happily.

He chuckles and we head inside, then we head to the kitchen to eat, then we are off to bed to sleep off the exhausting day.

I fall asleep comfortably curled in the Doctors arms, in our warm bed, in our safe ship.

Was this chapter worth the wait?

I hope so! I had a lot of fun with it! My first real foray into a non episode adventure!

Thank you all for having patience with me! I am still fairly sick, so I've not really been doing much but sleeping and watching YouTube or reading.

But I am getting slowly better! So hopefully I'll be more active!

Alright, well thank you all so much for reading! I'd love it if you could review and tell me what you thought!

If I don't post on or right after Christmas then have a happy holidays! I wish you all the best and I pray safety and happiness to you all!
