Opening: Polaris by BLUE ENCOUNT
Inosuke ran through the battlefield towards the closest Sentinel Atlan in order to tame it. The boy was completely oblivious to the fact that it was a machine as he was currently under the impression that all the vehicles around him were wild animals. As he ran towards the Sentinel Atlan, a Night Sentinel grabbed him by the arm and barked at the child, "Where do you think you're going?! Are you trying to get yourself killed?!"
Inosuke pointed towards the nearby Atlan which was battling a demonic titan and exclaimed, "Let go, asshole! I want to tame that creature!"
The Night Sentinel shook his head repeatedly in disbelief as he commented, "You think that our Atlans are just some creature that you can tame?!"
"Yeah! Now let go!"
Inosuke tried prying himself free from the Sentinel's grasp but the armored soldier was much stronger than the boy had anticipated. The man firmly held the boy still and explained to him, "In case you can't tell, that is a machine, not a wild animal! There's no way for you to enter it right now, the docking bays are back at Argent D'nur. But if you really want to try 'taming' one of the Atlans, bring it to our officers."
"Those jerks from earlier can get me one of those Atlans?! AWESOME!" Inosuke was freed from the man's grip as he ran towards the direction of the officers he and Kanao confronted earlier. The Night Sentinel stood there, bewildered by Inosuke's behaviour because he didn't tell Inosuke he'd get his own Atlan. Well, at least his superiors can deal with that child now, it's no longer his issue.

Fall of Davoth by Geoffrey Day
The Slayer slowly walked up to the Dark Lord's throne, locking his gaze on the target he's been chasing after for so long now. Davoth remained still, observing the Slayer from inside his mechanized red suit, leaving his head exposed for the time being so he could look upon the Slayer with his own eyes as he began stating to the warrior, "You bring violence and war to thwart the Dark Realm, but conflict was born in Hell. It is inevitable…" The god took several steps forward until he was at the edge of his platform before continuing, "... a fire that fuels creation and gives purpose where there is none." The plates of the Dark Lord's helmet began to fall back into place as it covered his face and sealed him from the outside elements. The suit bent its knees before jumping off the platform and into the arena to face the Slayer in combat. Upon standing back up, the two combatants stared at each other intensely before slowly travelling around the perimeter of the arena in a circle, their eyes locked onto their opponent. "Stand and fight, Slayer. Honor your true God. Fight, and show me your purpose."
Both combatants drew their weapons and ignited their swords. A large and orange energy shield expanded from Davoth's suit's left wrist, the shield was nearly as large as he was. They bent their knees in anticipation, assuming their fighting stances as they prepared to lunge at each other and begin their long-awaited duel. The Slayer channeled his spiritual energy to heighten his physical capabilities, he wasn't expecting any easy battle up ahead.
Both warriors zoomed towards each other at incredible speeds but the Dark Lord's suit was much quicker, seemingly able to teleport right in front of the warrior, bashing his shield into the Doom Slayer with enough force to blast him backwards into the wall. As the Slayer slammed into the barrier, the Dark Lord used his suit's thrusters to slide over towards the Slayer and slash at the warrior. The Slayer pointed his wrists towards the ceiling, firing his grappling hooks towards it to pull himself above the Dark Lord. Just as the mech suit sliced through the wall where the Slayer previously was, the Slayer twirled behind the Dark Lord just as he ascended past him and slashed with his demonic crucible which grazed the plating of the armor. Without delay, Davoth spun around instantaneously and back-handed the Doom Slayer with his shield, knocking him further away into the arena.
The Slayer slid against the arena floor, struggling to stabilize himself before the Dark Lord pursued him once more. The warrior had just come to a halt by the time Davoth was in front of him. The Slayer swung his argent hammer with all of his might at the Dark Lord, the God responded by raising his energy shield towards the warrior. The two energy weapons came in contact with one another, creating an explosive shockwave that blasted the Doom Slayer back into the walls of the arena and only pushed the Dark Lord back slightly. Davoth took several steps back as his shoulder cannons revealed themselves and took aim at the Doom Slayer, repeatedly firing a volley of projectiles at the Hellwalker who began racing along the perimeter of the room to outrun the projectiles.
The Slayer aimed the grappling hook on his left arm next to the Dark Lord and began reeling himself in. He arched around the arena, using his praetor suit's thrusters to dash past the incoming projectiles as he zoomed towards the Dark Lord. The God swung his blade at the Doom Slayer who responded by swinging his demonic crucible. The two blades clashed against one another but the Slayer was sorely outclassed in terms of strength as his blade bounced away upon impact, causing the Slayer to weave out of the way of the attack as the energy blade passed him. However, the warrior did not let up as he continued swinging the crucible and his argent hammer at the Dark Lord. Each time the Slayer swung with his crucible, the Dark Lord would counter with his own energy blade. Every time the Slayer swung with his argent hammer, the Dark Lord would block it with his shield. The Hellwalker's attacks continuously bounced off of the Dark Lord's weapons, doing no damage to the God.
Davoth tapped his shield against the floor they stood on with enough force to send a shockwave that lifted the Slayer off of his feet. The God seized the opportunity to grab the Slayer and dash towards the opposite wall before forcing the Slayer through it. As soon as the Hellwalker was smashed through the wall, the Dark Lord began dragging the warrior across the walls of the room, grinding him against the hard immoran metal before yanking him from the metallic wall and chucking him away.
The Slayer stabilized himself mid-air and fired his grappling hook towards the floor beneath him. As he pulled himself towards the floor, he raised his hammer up high and channeled his spiritual energy, stating the name of his attack before performing it, "Blood Breathing: Fourth Form, Blood Fang." Blood fangs erupted from the Slayer before piercing the floor in the same moment he struck his hammer against it. The floor was blasted open with that single strike, destroying all of the nearby panels and causing both the Slayer and the Dark Lord to drop down the steep elevator shaft leading up to the Dark Lord's throne room.
The Slayer dived down the elevator shaft, slashing through the elevator that threatened to get in his way before continuing his rapid descent towards the bottom floor of the Tower. The Slayer was able to see further up ahead due to his Praetor Suit, allowing him to see the ground zooming towards him. The Slayer tried his best to slow down as he maneuvered towards the walls of the elevator shaft and stabbed his Crucible into the walls to slow himself down. At the same time, he dug his fingers into the metal to slow himself down. He decelerated to a speed he was comfortable with before hopping off the wall and landing at the bottom floor. The Slayer crashed to his knees upon landing but he got up quickly, observing his environment to see the terrified Imorrans cower in fear of him as they began fleeing the area.
The Slayer looked up once he heard the Dark Lord's voice, "My turn." The Dark Lord crashed into the ground, shield-first, creating a shockwave that destroyed everything nearby. The Slayer was blasted into the crumbling walls of the tower. With the foundation of the bottom floor destroyed, the Dark Lord's tower began to fall due to its lack of balance. The Slayer was buried underneath the debris as the Dark Lord's tower ripped through the smaller buildings of Immora, completely crushing them underneath it's weight before eventually slamming into the ground with enough force to generate a high-level earthquake. The Sentinels and demons fighting outside the city were able to feel the powerful tremors caused by the descent of the Dark Lord's tower.
As the dust and noise from the crash settled, the Slayer fought his way through the debris until he was finally freed from it, emerging from the rubble as he stretched his stiff neck. However, the Dark Lord didn't intend to give the Slayer a moment to breathe as he began firing projectiles from his shoulder cannons at the Doom Slayer who was left with no choice but to start moving once more. The warrior started running through the area to the best of his ability despite the uneven surface and the hundreds of metallic plates jutting out from the ground in various directions. The thrusters of the Dark Lord's suit generated enough force to make the God hover above the ground, allowing him to bypass the terrain as he started flying towards the Doom Slayer.
Davoth zoomed towards the Slayer, slashing his sword at the warrior who rolled forward to evade the blade that passed above him. The warrior rolled onto his back to face the Dark Lord who was hovering above him and used his grappling hook to reel himself towards the Dark Lord and plant his feet against the torso of the machine before attempting to impale it with the crucible. The weapon could barely dig in, only the tip was able to burn through the suit's defenses but it still resisted the Crucible. The God grabbed the Slayer, looking at the warrior for several seconds before hurling the warrior into the ground beneath them with enough force to blow away the nearby debris.
The Dark Lord descended upon the Doom Slayer, stomping his foot on the warrior to pin him to the ground and crush him underneath the weight of his suit. The Slayer groaned in pain as the Dark Lord began to repeatedly stomp the Slayer several times with his foot. On the last stomp, he pressed the Slayer down and proceeded to swing his blade at the warrior's neck to decapitate him. The Slayer reached his arms out in panic, firing both of his grappling hooks into the Dark Lord's arm and redirecting them away from the Slayer as the blade slashed through the ground next to the Slayer's head.
The Slayer had no time to waste as he placed his hands on the Dark Lord's foot and began pushing with all of his might. The Slayer had no time for limits, he tapped into all of his strength as he started to lift the mech suit's foot off of him. The Slayer began to shout as he fought back against the Dark Lord's strength, managing to make the suit lose it's balance and fall back. In that same stroke, the Slayer, who was still holding onto the Dark Lord's foot, began spinning in place to build up momentum before hurling the Dark Lord away as far as he could.
It didn't take Davoth long to stabilize himself mid-air before hovering above the ground thanks to his built-in thrusters. After hovering for a few seconds, the Dark Lord gently descended on the ground and watched as the Slayer collected himself. The God spoke to the warrior, "This is a futile effort. You do not possess the strength to defeat me."
The Slayer furrowed his brows out of annoyance. Davoth was right. As he is, right now, he doesn't have the strength to overcome the Dark Lord. But the Hellwalker does have an ace up his sleeve he hasn't utilized yet. The Warrior crouched onto the ground, taking a deep breath before channeling his spiritual energy into his heart.
The Dark Lord used his suit's optics to zoom in on the Doom Slayer. He watched in awe as a symmetrical red-pattern began to cover the Slayer's body like a tattoo. The warrior's eyes, behind his visor, shifted into a blood-red color similar to the Dark Lord's. The Hellwalker's muscles expanded considerably as several veins jut out from the strenuous effort of tapping into this power. Soon, the Doom Slayer became the spitting image of Davoth, himself. The Dark Lord smirked as he commented, "There it is. The power that rivals my own." The Slayer slung his argent hammer over his shoulder as he growled intensely at the Dark Lord. He had nothing to say to the God, Flynn just wanted him dead.
The real fight begins now…
